As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Persued this one with the gang from the Hill End 4x4 Event Weekend...
Got close to the GZ only to hear that another cacher had indeed located the cache, but the pulling device and said cache had sadly parted company. You'd think that with so many cachers present one of us would have brought a torch with us rather than leaving them in the cars...

We'll hunt this one down again sometime after the cache has had some maintenance to re-couple pulling device to the cache.
Thanks for bringing us to a very interesting spot anyway!
OOPS.... one of the intrepid explorers on the 4x4 weekend. We'll give this a go on another trip after it is reinstated.
The Rats pulled on the chain for this one but it seemed to have lost it's load a bit early so no find today.
If one was fisherman, one could tell the story about the 'one that got away'.
'The fish was brought to the surface, but just as the landing net was slipped under it, the line snapped and it disappeared into the depths.'

Hands in the air, t"is I who had my hands on the chain. Only to pull up a line with no bait, nor hook, nor catch.
Sorry Oompas, but if its anything like your other caches I know this would have been a top cache.

What a great cache site and hiding spot. Most enjoyable - it is a very interesting area. Thanks The Oompas. TNLN
Second go at this one and forgot the torch as well. Finally located now I know what it is like to be blind. Good one Froggy 346
WOW.
This cache was so fun to find, very unique hiding place.
We walked all the way to the end first, then turned around and came back to the cache spot.
Took: Keyring
Left: Maccas Toy
Thanks Oompahs!

Parked the car and did the walk to do both of these together. Good walk. Went right in, had a look. Foud cache after a bit of a look. Very small so if you want to go find it take something little to swap.
Took: Lighter
Left: Keyring
Thanks Oompas!

Enjoyed finding this cache - great spot! Had some helpers - future cache finders! Thanks. Took a toy man, and left a toy car.
Great location, and terrific cache, walked right past the place inspecting the mine shaft, came to the end and turned around and found it.
This was our first cache , we are now hooked .
The only thing thats a bit dodgy is the BIG hole, those who pull the chain with a torch will know what we mean !!

Great spot, if perhaps a bit dodgy for people with munchkincachers? Anyway loved it. Particularly loved the design of the cache itself. Good one,

High Places.
Got it! after 3 tries (same day)
At first I overlooked the name of the cache... DOH!
I went in the cave, looked around saw the chain, thought: 'that would be a clever way!' pulled it, it was stuck so I didnt pull harder since I didnt know what it was...
Went out, looked outside again, MrsT read out the instructions again, including the title, BINGO! went in again pulled a little harder and there it was!!!
Brilliant hiding spot!!

This is a great spot for a cache. A lot of history to be viewed. Once again a great cache from The Oompas requireing the usual skill.
Took a magnet and left a keyring (not a tool I know but it could hold the key to your tool box)
Thanx Oompas
