I think its time to fix it, convert it to a traditional or let this one go, leaving the area open for someone else.
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Sorry Team Ermalesh but GZ of WP2 has been bulldozed and everything cleaned away.
Will try and sort out a new WP2 for this cache.

DNF. Found WP1 easy enough, and the setup menu used easily. WP2 had us stumped, a quick call to the owner confirmed a possible muggling of the cache. Will return.
at last, found point one last week, and felt pretty silly that it took me so long. Figured out how not to go to Mt Barker, but lost the light. Took the kids out today and found Pt2,also found a little Geko in cache also. Left Mini Slinky and took small plastic cat. Very good cache but a bit more than a 2 on difficulty I think. Great hides both of them.
Edit: Actually I note, now its 3 on Difficulty and I recon that is a bit more appropriate .

This would have to be the best find ever.
Both levels - oh and waterlogged - yes it is all still there
Tip for all new searchers - Read ALL the logs carefully, there are many hints.
The clues are relevant too.

What a cache! We found part 1 on Wednesday night, but although we figured out how not to go to Mt Barker, the darkness beat us at part 2. So we came back on Good Friday during daylight hours and success! Very impressed.

Absolutely bloody brilliant. One of the best camo jobs ever.
And it's even near another lonesome pine!
A must do for Adelaide.
Thanks heaps.

Didn't quite know what to do at the first waypoint, I am still amazed we found it. Toyed around with the GPSr settings, then we were off to WP2. Interesting little area here, definitely somewhere a cache could be hiding. Still took a while to locate it though, very well hidden. All up, a great cache that we are glad we persisted with. TNLNSL. Thanks Waterlogged.

What a fantastic cache.
Easily my favourite hide for the night.
What can I say but "It was all good".

Sixth of 23 finds for the day in the company of SA_Parrothead and Skippy&Lambchops. This one had really, really clever camo at both locations, especially WP1. One of the best I've seen. [^] I stumbled across the first waypoint , and thanks to Skippy, we found that we didn't have to drive to Mt Barker. The final location was another clever piece of geoflage. I made no exchange. Thanks to Waterlogged for the cache.
Thoroughly enjoyed solving this one - very ingenious! Glad we didn't dash off to Mt Barker without thinking, as we had just come from up near there! Both stages very cleverly hidden, with a subtle, yet devious, intermediate twist! Found eventually in joint effort - without Jill's early breakthrough, we'd both still be looking! TNLN. This was the second of "Waterlogged" caches done today. Both much appreciated. Cheers, FeatherWaite.
this one is brilliant.
when we first started geocaching, this one was offline so we never gave it any further thought. turns out it is only 260 meters from where we stay in adelaide.
during a bout of insomnia i headed off after midnight, GPS and LED torch in hand (gloves in pocket).
after a bit of poking about i had it! punch some stuff into the GPS and off to the next bit. loved this bit too.
gloves are required; i saw a huge redback and a huntsman nearby.
i'm begining to love night time caching
took : a tiny rubber snake
left : a tiny tea cup (found this in spiderman up north
thanks guys

Just a bit paranoid about my adopted cache so went and had a look, and yes way point 1 is still there, just afraid all my hard work is going to be muggled.
When you find WP1, polish the numbers to reveal them better, as Mother Nature covers them up over time, but she will never destroy them. Not unless she can corrode stainless steel, but that’s a different subject, and it can happen for your info.

second time I have looked for this one and I must be doing something wrong cause I still couldnt find 1st one. must go back again and approach it from a different angle?
Visited the first location on more than one occasion and eventually had to ask for a hint and quite honestly Waterlogged your hint was of no help - I still could not find it
Late one evening I was approaching the first location from a different direction than usual, pulled over and started the walk toward the general location. Turned on the torch as I got close and saw what looked like a cache hiding place immediately - and so it was.
GZ was easy to find when I visited today.

Found wp1 on the 2nd attempt! Took the geokid along, gave him the gps and said "find it then!" Well he goes straight to it! [:(!] Took a lil brain power to work out wp2, and I had even looked there 'on a hunch' when looking previously! Got it now though, another 'Southern' one off my list of DNF's. TNLNSL
Went and did some housework on part one today, so it was missing for a few hours from 4pm onwards.
Part one now has a stainless steel plate attached to it with ‘Arkanoid’ and the info for location two stamped onto it. I didn’t realise how quickly nature takes over in some instances. If required a light rub with some dirt to act as sand paper will reveal the inscriptions.
Happy to confirm that the cache, part 2, was in place three nights ago when I first went past and had a look.
Happy Hunting
PS: Please log your DNF for others to note, and me to confirm the ‘containers’ are still there.

Tried looking again. The location pointed at the middle of a fenced off property. We even doublechecked the coordinates at location 1. Hard to read though. Now I see that the plate has been replaced. I hope we got the numbers right. Hopefully the scoff-kerrs will try it again.
Found the first half even though it was rather tricky. The numbers were hard to read though. No idea what mathematics are required. The result being that we had absolutely no luck on the second half. The clues didn't help us at all. I am not sure what we are missing here.
Found after a brief search. Good hide. Took us a short time to set up the GPS to get the correct location. Took cat and left Klem Bear. Thanks Waterlogged.
Have found stage 1 with no difficulty. Will attempt stage 2 in the very near future once we have set up the GPS. Thanks Waterlogged and Gwyndigo.
Had to check if everthing was still there, as no one has tried for it or logged a DNF or anything.
Did I waste my time in setting this cache back up?

With new containers at both location this cache should(will) last a while longer, if the vandals don't get to it.
The cache is not big enough for the TB that I have at the moment, so can't start it off with one, Sorry

4th of 12 finds before 10am.
Was completely stumped on this one a week ago, couldn't even find the clues at GZ. Interestingly I had the right idea but the GPSr was putting me a bit off of the real GZ at the time. Returned today after a clue from TeamAstro confirmed I was on the right track last time.
Now, we are sorry to report that stage one is now very much in need of replacement. Although we were as gentle as possible it cracked into two pieces. We've replaced it carefully but it would easily become either unreadable or unreachable.
Figured out stage two fairly easily and feeling pretty chuffed with ourselves at that . Stage two found fairly easily. Log book is looking fairly worse for wear but it is dry and in one piece! TNLN.

Disabling this until I can get out there to repair it. We don't live down that way any more, so it might be a couple of weeks.
After speaking with Posspet, and getting a cleare hint from him, had another go at this.
Its a cleaver cache, but the "container" itself probably needs to be upgraded, as the logbook isnt in the best shape.

Found the 1st point, and will plot the 2nd soon, but from the looks of it, i end up up in the hills where im not supposed to be.
We shall see.
We shall see.
This was my third DNF in a row, so my morale was geting really low. Now I'll have to return again and look harder next time.
Just when I thought that there would be no way I could find this one I had a brainstorm. Something unusual for me!

Bag needs replacing by the next visitor.
Now all I have to do is remember how to play with my GPS.

Excellent camoflage on level1, but is showing a bit of wear. Level 2 was located quickly once I worked out the trick. TNLNSL. Cheers & thanks for the challenge.

Found by Barry and Beryl. Both hiding spots were very clever, it took us longer to find the first one which we did a couple of weeks ago and went home to work our why it was not at Mount Barker.
We took the Travellertag to help along it's way.
Left a Butterfly and a Frog
Thanks for another great cache Gwyndigo

The container at level 1 was another excellent camo job. Could do with some TLC thou. Very hard to read details for level 2. Found the cache without any hassles. No swaps this time - Cheers to Gwyndigo.
After looking around for a while and turning over every rock/brick, I sat down and deciphered the hints, with some new thoughts to go on, off to look again, thinking hats on, found it.
The “container†needs a bit of TLC as the writing is getting hard to read and it’s falling apart. How to get to level 2?? Thinking outside the square I ended up in the middle of the gulf, yes I could have gotten there in my canoe but that’s not where Level 2 should be, I thought. After re-reading the notes and doing as it says…… Bingo. Level 2 was realistic, and not in Mt Barker either. Cache found safe and sound after a short hunt. Took Green dinosaur, left Riffle.
Loved the thrill of the chase, and the clues were enough to kick things along without being too obvious or obscure.
Thanks Gwyndigo for this cache.

All in all I looked at every brick in the wall. Couldn't find stage 1, so figured it was pointless looking for stage 2;)

Ah my first cache since getting back in the country. This was a very fun one and loved the "container" at the first waypoint. I left a traveltag. Many thanks for the hide
Last of three caches this afternoon (other caches being: DUH!, Checkerboard).
Found 14/11/04 (14th November) @ 7:25pm by Paul (Team Stargazer). Wondered around a short while at WP1 thinking my GPSr was playing games with me again when I literally tripped over it. With the info in hand I plotted WP2 ... yes, I too got somewhere near Mt Barker and we know NOT to look there, don't we? [8)]
Thinking caps on (you need them when you have to decrypt the clues ) Ahh! Now I get ya! WP2 plotted & off we go ...
Cache contents, including the log book, were soaking wet. Dried everything out as best I could and even managed to dry a page out in the log book enough to log my find. But with the holes in the Ziploc bag the contents will again get wet with the next rain. I tried to provide a little extra protection from the elements when I replaced the cache.
Took: Astronaut
Left: Yellow dinosaur
Thanks Gwyndigo, a cache with an interesting twist. [^]

After being given the answer to interpreting the clue at point one, the rest was easy. Found the cache quickly today and was stunned to find it dry and in great condition. This particularly amazed me, as I had just come from ‘Sandy Hill’ which was contained in a tupperware container and was completely waterlogged??
Would I be right in assuming the Pine Tree reference refers to the Battle for Lone Pine mentioned on the memorial near the initial clue?

Very clever hides for both levels of this game. I picked up level one on my lunch break but the minutes threw me a bit, especially as ozi was suggesting Mount Barker, but with that safely ruled out it took the afternoon at work for the penny to drop and I picked up level two on the way home. What's the story with the historic pine tree though? I didn't see anything remotely pine-ish!

Had to resort to the clues to find part one. What an ingenious hide I’m afraid that it didn’t help me one bit. I have no idea what to do with the information. If it’s NOT the coords to a point in Mt Barker, then I’m stumped? [B)] Bit embarrassing actually, as no one else seems to have had trouble. What is it that I'm not seeing??
Finished this one tonight once we had the legible clue. Thanks Gwyndigo
Took miniature tea cup, left cat.
Took miniature tea cup, left cat.
Tried this on the weekend and couldn't find stage 1 in broad daylight. On the way back from I Robot tonight we found it straight away! Devious indeed. Looks like there's been a bit of water damage, and the clue was very difficult to read - even under brighter light outside a nearby shop.
Found @ 3:10pm
I found part one in a jiffy but then had to work out what the hint meant, and i know lambchops hates minutes as well.
Knowing it wasn't anywhere near Mt Barker and it had to be very very close to part 1.
When we arrived at to GZ we knew this was the place.
We brought some bricks from this Co many years ago.
Thanks Gwyndigo.
I was told the stage 1 cache was missing something inside.

Did part one of this cache some time ago - took us a while to work out what to do with the info we got from there but finally sorted it out. Good hiding spot. TNLN. Thanks Gwyndigo.
Found the first point a little while ago and saw that the second point was all the way at Mt Barker. Realised what we were doing wrong and recalculated the co-ords and bingo. Was heading down this way today so stopped by and nabbed the cache. An interesting spot which I would not want to do in summer. I imagine the snakes would love this kind of structure. Aaron found the cache quickly and logged the find. BTW it seems the log book is soggy again. Cheers.
We found the first half easily on our initial visit, but had real trouble with the second part. Turned out our Etrex was in wrong mode - no, not the one referred to in the clues either! Next opportunity we had, we zoomed back and rechecked and recalibrated, and BINGO! There it was. While there, we had a great discussion with the cache owner, who had come to do some maintenance. Lovely guy, and the Linux interest was fun to share:) Swapped a butterfly hair tie for something I cant remember (its in the logs:) )
I've removed stage 1 for maintenance. I'll put it back tomorrow.
Plastic bags at stage 2 replaced.
Plastic bags at stage 2 replaced.
More than a bit of deviosity with this one ... nice work folks! We saved ourselves a few unnecessary kays by reading the earlier logs, and found Level 2 shortly afterwards. Nice cammo job, although the baggie is getting a little torn and could probably do with replacing. No smallish swaps with me today, so TNLN - thanks guys!!
Found by Mary & David at 1035. Had to circle a bit to find a good parking spot. Had Smurf along for company and it was she who spotted the devious Level 1 item. Noted the required info then retreated to the maccamobile to manipulate the numbers. Then off to the Level 2 site, where David spotted the equally devious container as we arrived. Took frog, left mini cup. Both the Level 1 and Level 2 items would benefit from a touch of maintenance. Our thanks to Gwyndigo for a well-designed challenge.
Yes it was 'a bit of deviosity' in this one.
When we first put it co-ords from stage 1 thought 'that cann't be right thats km away. On re-reading waypoint page and Decrypting clues re-entered and found cache not far away after all.
I was surprised at where it was as I Know of an old pine tree where we used to stay for many christmas holidays and was hoping it was down there.
Thanks Gwyndigo loved this one.

Stage one had us stumped for a while since both of our GPSr wanted us standing in the middle of the road. GZ was very crowded with ten of us wandering around plus team :wq were there rechecking the information. Tackled the second part with fewer cachers and reasonably quick success. Like others before us, we really appreciated the ingenuity of the cammo job on this one! Thanks Gwyndigo!
Brilliant caching fun. Very devious first location. The GZ was spot on. It was just my brain that was 5m away.
In the end we put it all together. Thanks for another excellent cache.
In the end we put it all together. Thanks for another excellent cache.
With both parts of this multi being less than 1km from home, it was just too tempting not to walk out and grab this one today! Completed this one by myself, while the other half of TeamMinx was at work.
Took Nothing, Left Nothing. Was very careful not to damage either of the two stages ... great Camo!
Thanks Gywndigo ...

Found at 16:00.
We'd just been down to the cafe next to the caravan park for lunch (the samosas were good), then taken the dog for a walk along the beach. Found part one on the way out again, then Emily realised she'd left her handbag at the cafe over an hour earlier, with wallet and digital camera. Fortunately someone had handed it in to the cafe.
Whilst looking for part two, Miray pulled up. They were driving past and guessed the only people who would park there would be cachers. Chris found the cache while we were still talking to Miray.
Loved the first spot - excellent camo. Carina laughed a lot.
Took the penny, left a watch bracelet.
Thanks Gwyndigo.

Tagged along with Gunnell & Pandaabear to get this one a bit earlier in the afternoon than Unicycle & Miray. Pandaabear took the honors to find it. No swaps. Thanks Gwyndigo.
Deviosity describes this one very well, with the part II camo being particularily evil. Found it after quite some time, and a few lurid thoughts regarding the parentage ( or lack of it) of the perpetrator. Took GeoCoin, left the penny that Team Unicyle took ( do we have a time warp here?). Thanks Gwyndigo - we look forward to your next one!
Nice camo. Caught up with Richary for this one. TNLN. Thanks Gwyndigo.
Visited tonight and applied an unreasonable amount of araldite to stage 1. If nobody bumps it in the next couple of hours, it should be okay. I've encrypted the logs of the two finders because they (unavoidably) give a bit away.
Richary, if you drive a big white 4WD, then I saw you park on the verge as I was driving off with Stage 1 for maintenance. It was only gone for 15 minutes - bad luck :/.
Stage 1 is very easy to access, and definitely on public property. I'll recheck the coordinates tomorrow, because it sounds like you were being led astray.

The first stage required some dexterity to extract. I thought there was a spring attached. Push as I did, it did not bounce up so I could catch it. Archimedes would have been amused . The coords found were a shock. 32 good reasons to give up. But don’t. Read them carefully. Know your decimal mathematics.
Site 2 was interesting, especially at 10pm and the light of the setting almost first quarter moon. EEEry. TN but left a glowing object and a fighter toy.
Clear skies
TeamAstro.
Could smell traces of beer when here, so knew we didnt have a virgin cache this time round!
Seems the 1st cache has come adrift and was floating.
Found the second cache easily enough.
I poked my snout around the gate up the drive to have a look for the dead buses ??(Didnt enter the gate mind you).
And 5 seconds later was copping some stick from a cardigan clad dwarf about being on private property ![B)]
I strongly suggest not entering the area !
Found by Team GeoCoopers @ 8am.
Was first on the scene early in the morning.
Once mission one was accomplished I moved on the next level and found it easily. Both stages were another great cammo job by Gwyndigo.

Removed the note about the dead bus; looks like they couldn't be bothered chasing down a couple of meddling kids on bikes (us), rather than didn't mind our presence. Will check on stage one later this afternoon.
