see my note if almost a year ago. Sufficient time has been given.

Tell ya what, been checked it. yes its still there...
But, being the busy beaver I am, I plum forgot to update the logs here.
(I actually attended a wedding at St Micheals golf course, which was only a couple of hundred metres from the cache!)

Now its dead. I am pulling all my caches.

This cache will be removed (as will all) as time permits, after all the environment shouldnt have dead caches lying around.

I am done and dusted with Geocaching, Good luck to all the active Cachers out there.

I went looking for this one. Another example of not having the GSAK up to date.

With the amount of DNF's agaisnt it, I think the owner may have lost the interest.

It might be prudent to archive it.

Sevabo and I were at the right GZ but couldnt find it so will have to come here next time.

Maybe a sign with an arrow pointing to the cache, oh sorry got one on my GPSr, but unfortunately searched high and low for an hour and came up empty. Another time.

Flagging for review by moderators. Long long time since last find and Needs Maintenance logs appear unanswered.

Cache is intact, If you cant find it, doesnt mean its missing.

Perhaps I will put up some signs onsite.... maybe 2 metres tall ...3 metres wide....flashing lights...oooo a siren or two! .......or maybe a set of chorus girls....nahhh Cheerleaders thats the go....

Cache was checked 29/03/09, sorry I didnt log it but it was logged as checked 3 months previous.

Had another look for this one - a pretty good scour widening the search area. Alas no joy. In despair we "phoned a friend" - a previous finder - but even with that help we couldn't find the blessed thing. Oh well - another on our loooonng list of nemesis caches. It's a lovely spot though - really nice. Our favourite DNF by a stretch.

Its still intact, dunno why it aint been found, but hey that the idea eh lol.Twisted

Is this cache still there?

02-Aug-08
Great location. After quickly securing the required data from WP1 we wended our way via the rocky shore to the search zone. Alas like many before we came up with nowt. Super vantage point o'er the ocean though and a lovely spot to spend over an hour which we did to no avail. Reckoned we had a pretty good scour too. We would not be particularly interested in a clue but we would be particularly interested in confirmation that this one is still extant. Probably come back soon regardless as we have other cache business in the area.

WP1 was easily found by tronador after 5 minutes. Headed to GZ which is a lovely spot just in sunset but no luck here although we climbed in each and every hole. However we could not search all places due to fishing muggles.
But the most likely spots were just empty.
TFTC or better for pointing to that spot.

May a hint for GZ might be worthwile

The view through the chapel windows is spectacular. Looking for Wpt 1 was not easy. Just about to give up, I took one more look and there it was right where the GPS said it was. Alpini and I were hopeful of a find. We searched high and low but to no avail. I found one excellent hidey hole in a safe location but it was empty. Effrem, is this cache still there? A hint for GZ would be helpful! Enjoyed the walk.

Found WP1 straight away and then proceeded to the cache. Got to GZ but could not find anything! Tried several different altitudes (some of which were a bit hairy!) but still no luck.
Admittedly, we didn't widen our search as the co-ords for WP1 were so accurate, but maybe we should have?
Lovely spot though, so thanks for taking us there! We'll be back...

Managed WP1 without too much fuss although the high fences did put us off a bit. Got out to where we thought the cache would be and despite some searches high and low we did not find it. Thought it could have been in one other place but we had an appointment to get to and had lost the inclination for more rock scrambling. Maybe another day.

Cache is intact and in good condition.

Wp2 is no more, the co-ords on wp1 lead the cache.

I spent too much time searching here for WP1 but to no avail.

The cache is accessible legally, you just cant go in straight line.
Thanks to Moneydork for confirming WP1's status.

Thanks

I found Waypoint 1 within about 5 minutes.

Couldn't get to WP2 due to security at the golf course and due to nearby construction activities - so this is really another DNF - but it does confirm that Waypoint 1 is alive and well and where it should be - so (if the cache owner will let me), I'd like to count this as a find after the string of waypoint 1 DNFs. Being from NZ, its unlikely that I'll get back to do the final Waypoint.

Logged as a DNF - I'll only chnag it to a found if the owner Emails me indicating their permission to.

It was Mission Quite Impossible for us unfortunately, couldn't even find WP1. Thanks for the opportunity though Effrem.

Looked around the area of WP1 for a while in all the logical places but no joy.
My GPS was pointing in other directions so had a look there too, still nothing.
Will come back to have another look when I haven't been cycling all over Sydney looking for other caches.

28-May-06
After getting a clue from Effrem, I was able to uncover WP1 which survived the maintenance in the area without molestation. A short walk later and I had the cache in my hand. Like others before me, I came directly to GZ without finding WP2. A fun treck and find. Thanks Effrem. TNLNSL.

Had an unsucessful look for this today. WP1 isn't surrounded by the fence anymore, but there were too many people around to have a good look... Then I got hit in the back of the head by a golf ball!! (Luckily I was wearing a hat and it was only a glancing blow.)

I will be back.

The good news is that the barrier is no longer there! However I was still unable to find WP1 Sad. Past logs indicate that it is a tricky hide so it might have been my lack of luck today.

24-Feb-06
WP1 needs to be relocated to where it can be found.

17-Feb-06
WP1 is still surrounded by a barrier. Gotta wonder what they've been doing in there for the past 7 months...

30-Jul-05
WP1 was surrounded by a barrier for an asbestos dump.

My second attempt at this one, there were so many people about, I had to call a help line... and as you would expect WP1 was right under my nose... Even though I had looked there so many times...

I found this without too many troubles, except for about half a dozen people right near the final location...
Thanks

I guess I could use the obvious cliche for our experience at this cache, but I'll refrain.
After Astro and I had a fruitless search at WP1 for some time we called the Helpdesks of Webguy (who hadn't found it) and The Rats (who had). He was a great help and we turned it up after that.
This is when the confusion really started. The co-ords took us into the void as we searched top and bottom.
We finally called the Effrem help desk and discussed the fact that WP2 really was GZ. Anyone he took pity on us and told us where to look.
However I think the cache needs to be re-worked to fix WP2 - or just remove WP2 and have WP1 and GZ. Just my $0.02
Thanks for bringing us here Effrem. We both enjoyed the views and we explored an interesting part of the coastline.

OK – I had to say it when I was there – mission nearly impossible. Thanks to the Effram help line, I was able to be guided to this one. No need to push the self destruct button at WP2 – as I did not go there! The tag at waypoint one seems to have the final GZ coords on it. Don’t ask me how, but it has.

Anyway, the spot is a gem, and the final GZ is fantastic. I did this at sunset. The pics (some here) speak for themselves – don’t try to figure…., no spoilers boys and girls! If you go there in the next few days, you might be able to catch the trail between WP1 and GZ – well worn by Astro and Swag Agg. Get there before the green keeper does though.

The cache was too full for the playing card swap (there were already some there – how’s that for luck!). I left a glowing star and TN.

Thanks for your patience at Sunday dinner time Mr Effram, hope your dinner did not get too cold Big Grin. Clear skies, TeamAstro.

Took half an hour at WP1 with no luck...
I will have to try again...

Early finish at work on Christmas Eve: what are you going to do? Go home? or use the time to finish off those goecaches you have been trying to find time to do for six months.
I found WP1 in September and it was time to finish it off. I never was much of a dancer, because like The Rats I turned this from a three step into a two step; perhaps it is just our shared rodent heritage.

Hmmm not sure about the name on this one... We ended up with Ratboy using the phone a friend option on this, after spending far too long pulling wp1 appart. We were starting to get strange looks from the greenkeepers. The friend in this case just happened to be the cache owner. Then we took a stroll on the wild side.. those feral golfers need to be taken out the back and pounded into their little white cups... TNLNSL thanks for the frustration...

A 3 step multi-cache, not for this team of caching freaks. We did it in 2, accidentially..
Did all the usual swaps and admired the view. Thanks for the adventure Effrem.

Found WP1 on my third attempt. On to WP2!
And there are SO many places to hide things....
As I was scrambling around on the side of a cliff looking into small holes, my gf down below was joined by a group of fishermen. "What's he looking for?" I heard them ask. My gf replied "Ummmm....." and I took the oportunity to call out "Lizards!" They seemed to quickly loose interest after that and went back to setting up their gear. Time to call off the search though...

Sorry to say but WP1 has us stumped. I'm hoping it's because there is a brand new timber fence near the sandstone. We had a quick look through the sandstone but golfers and a curious security guard made us call it a day.

07-Sep-04
As we where searching for WP1 I was informed that the mother-in-law wanted us to get married in the nearby chapel. First I heard about it, but then again I might have been suffering selective deafness at the time.

01-Aug-04
Quite possible for others, but not for me. Second attempt. Searched all likely places and some unlikely ones. No joy.

Mission accomplished. Good area, I've fished the rocks around cache area for years, well done Effrem. TNLNSL. Regards Philma.

Great hidden part of the coast, well hidden for those who don't play golf...
Found both WPs without much trouble.
Great stuff for our first multicache (and then on top a first visit) !
Took the carabiner, left a finger puppet.
P.S.: Dogs are not allowed in most of the area of the cache (sorry, we don't want to get political, but the sign was too large not the mention it)

Hmmm... Went for a cycle last night looking for a home for Tecnics. Found WP1... good start, but I think I was missing something because WP2 was "mission quite impossible". Set alot of light sensors off Smile and eventually security (Simon and Grant) came along. I thought they might of been going to help me as I had just fallen off my bike... but no... they wanted the time.... "Time to go home" I said. I will be back Smile
