A quick and fun find with family. Will come back another day to hike to the fall. TFTC
Fun and quick cache to find although it was a hassle to reach. The weather was pretty good and a fun day with the family
What a beautiful day to not be watching the footy My hubby and I decided to head out into the sunshine and made our way through some gorgeous spring gardens up here in the Dandenongs. The places we stopped didn't have any caches so we popped in here to grab a smiley face! Thanks for the cache, I even remembered to take a photo of the puzzle piece!
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Five: Yarra RangesWeather: the first day without wind and a great afternoon.First physical cache of the day after attending the nearby CITO and breakfast event. There is some yellow tape at the vehicle entrance to the track; Im not sure if thats to keep pedestrians out or just cars. I elected to go in and find the cache, which quick and easy. Thanks for this hide Rabbitto.
My objective for today was simple, to find my geocache find number 6666. However, I had a number of other side tasks too. To collect more clues for the 'Nice Day for a Cache' and the '13th Cache'. To find more caches to help with challenges I am working on. Specifically, oldies, multicaches, a DT of 2.5/2.5, and of course an Event and CITO on this month and on the 25th. A good day out with no DNFs, 4 Lab locations, and 26 geocache finds. After the event and meeting the COs, this was my first stop. Specifically, to collect another 2 of the '13th Cache' clues. This is a lovely location to go for a walk, and the trees are just massive. Seemed like a few other people had the same idea, but I had the car park to myself when searching for this one. Thanks for the cache, Rabbitto.Hunter
I needed to clear my head after a full-on week, so I headed for the bush. It was so enjoyable to walk and cache in the Dandenongs. This cache was a lot closer to the busy carpark than I was anticipating, but all the muggles were either off walking or picnicking, so I was able to make the find without incident. The log book was a little damp but still signable. I replaced with a little more natural camoflauge, as the container was visible on approach. Puzzle piece noted. TFTC Rabbitto
An early morning CITO on the other side of town. Yep why not, I thought. I really needed to get out so I blocked out the morning and crossed an LGA or 10.This was a quick stop on the way home. Ill just grab one cache for the day. Well are be soon turned into a few but thats the way it always goes.A big thanks goes to Rabbitto for taking the time to add Ten Green Bottles (The 13th Cache) to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Nominations for the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards** are now open and will close on **17 April 2024**. 13:44Picked up after checking out the Gardens down the road from where we'd done our weeding.Ever so slowly chipping away at this series. Thanks, Rabbitto.#8792
Good find! Log pretty damp. Great area to come back to and explore a bit more.
Came to see Sherbrooke Falls and left double victorious after seeing the falls and finding the cache! Lovely day to go walking. TFTC!
Found while out hiking through Sherbrooke Forest with my geoson. A beautiful area so close to Melbourne. We found the prize with the aid of the clue. The log was pretty wet, but we were still able to sign it. TNLNSL, TFTC.
I was enjoying a walk around Sherbrooke and collected this cache on the way past. I had to wait for a few minutes while some Instagrammers were busy being incredibly basic. Anyway, after circling the area like a lost tourist, I made short work of the cache and noted the puzzle piece. Not sure if I'll ever get the final but it's good to collect these anyway. Thanks for the adventure!

After visiting the magnificent and beautiful forest, it was a good idea to log this. Found quickly but the logbook is wet. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from Sweden
It’s been way too long since I have found a cache but life does get in the way. Out with the fam hiking and noticed this near the car. Nice quick find on a lovely spot. Tftc
Working my way through the 13th cache series, another ticked off the list. An easy find here, its keeper has seen better days. Thanks for bringing us here Rabbitto
TFTC nice easy find. Log a little damp but still very signable (that is a word)
Family reunion after 3 long years! Ms Emu’s parents came over from Germany and the Emus took them on a couple of road trips down the Mornington peninsula, along the Great Ocean Road, to the Grampians and on an adventure around Alice Springs, Uluru and Kings Canyon.
First stop around Melbourne was in the Dandenongs, the cache was a quick find at the car park after walking to Sherbrooke Falls. TFTC!

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Rabbitto for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

I was worried about the muggles I could spot when we pulled up. No need, cache was found away from prying eyes.
Thanks for placing the cache Rabbitto.

Nice quick find on way home from work. Cache in excellent condition despite moist surroundings. Unbelievably despite the increased muggle activity was able to retrieve, sign and replace the log with not drawing attention to myself. Just after while logging the find a group walked past just where I had been a minute earlier returning the cache( that was a close one phew ) TFTC
After a quick five minute search I had the cache and log book easily in hand.
No leeches this time either !

Checked on cache today on a maintenance run in company of noelwas. The log that originally held the cache has rotted away and the cache originally in that log is missing. Replaced the cache today in the adjacent stump. Please note - I had a replacement puzzle piece ready to bring along but accidentally left it home. I will get it back into the cache asap but if you need info in the meantime, drop me a message.
Spent twenty y minutes looking and the GPS has me nowhere near any logs, keep putting me near a One Way sign.
Given the length since last find it may have been muggled.

And if one green bottle should accidentally…
DAMN IT! Now it’s in my head! TFTC though

Grabbed this one quickly on the way home. Found out in the open. Signed the soggy log and placed it so it was hidden and out of the weather. Very busy in the area tonight. Thanks!
A free day off provided a wonderful opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens and forests of this delightful area. A nice straightforward find here. TFTC
The path is closed 10m from the cache. With muggles watching on I darent pass through the track block.
Well, the track is closed but I waited for the
Muggles to leave and snuck around the red and white tape to find the cache that was well hidden. Too cold and wet for much bush bashing today but this area

One day a snake is going to come flying out of one of these hiding spots and latch on with both fangs.
There is a long list of things that have bitten me while geocaching. Snake isn’t one of them. Yet.
Why just last week a small wasp found the minute gap between my jeans and boot while walking and stuck me through my thick sock.
7 days to stop itching. Ha.
