Came to this lovely spot for a coffee with a client and thought as I spotted the sculpture "what a great place for a cache" so after we'd finished our meeting and I was alone I checked the app and lo and behold there is a cache there. Was a very quick find fortunately with cover being a close inspection of the plaque, which was also very interesting. TFTC

06-Oct-24
#24278. There were lots of muggles at GZ (but maybe that just meant we blended in better). We both spotted the cache and I took a seat next to the structure and reached in underneath the grab the cache. Log was soon signed and we were on our way. TFTC.

06-Oct-24
It was quite busy at GZ, so we thought this would be a no-go but the cache was spotted while we were admiring the fantastic sculpture, and was easily retrieved without any one noticing by StreetWalkerNZ sitting beside it and quickly grabbing it. Thanks for highlighting the sculpture and TFTC.

Nice hide with a little extra camo to stop it getting taken. I stopped here in the night and they are always too many people so first thing in the morning only handful of people distracted by their coffee while I made the quick. TFTC

07-Jul-24
Great hide! We tried very hard to be inconspicuous. Definitely easier on a Sunday afternoon. Smile

A cool and fun weekend of caching around Adelaide. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location (after thinking about it for a bit and employing a convenient electronic TOTT to help with the search). Container and log in good condition. Another of the worlds strongest magnets! Thanks Freddo!

lots of muggles but thanks

22-Apr-24
Co-ords a bit out but GZ obvious, so no worries. Definitely caused a scene in front of the lunchtime muggles, but the strong magnets are smart to prevent any diehard muggle attempts. Cheers

22-Apr-24
The motherload of muggles was a bit of a concern, but stuff it, we had to get it done! Found with the Geococks Collective, aka theroseguys, mrlgrose, teamrosenz plus the addition of greermae23. Thanks for the hide, nice spot.

The SQUIRM team has travelled from Brisbane for the MEGA.We are here for a week and a bit of Fun, Fringe and caching. It's been a huge week, so many caches found, drives done, shows watched, meals eaten and even a swim. After spending forever trying to find a park (our bad, we had no idea FRINGE was SO BIG) this was a grab in a very busy area. Now we are off to see some Drag Queens sing Disney classics .We've had a fantastic week romping around Adelaide and sounds. Thanks for all the caches

Found by Six Queenslanders Unsupervised In Radelaide Mega'ing. It's the last day of our magical mystery tour. All logs signed or stamped as SQUIRM. Thanks for the cache Freddo

02-Mar-24
Lovely start to the day with a boat trip to a cute little island followed by a CITO event, then more caching in the local area, then another event to complete a fun filled time had by all.Our logs were signed mostly as 6 for QLD to save space on the log sheets.Wow, what a busy place to go looking for veggies at night, but surprisingly, there were no muggles paying us any attention.Thank you, Freddo and tadpole, this was a great hide ??

8.48pmIn Adelaide to attend the Great Leap Forward event from Qld with geofriends and having a great time. Tonight, while on our way to a show at the fringe festival, we stopped to get a few caches while on the city. Whose idea was it to try this cache tonight?!? So many people in this laneway, which made it hard to even find the cache location. Once we found it, we located the cache. I don't think anyone saw us only admiring the sculpture. Thanks for bringing us here. Tftc

02-Mar-24
This was a quite packed place. Found with CJDenno, LTEC and KristyAdventures. I soon searched for the cache and got the find while everyone stood around looking at the sculptures. We all wrote our names and headed off. A very creative cache.I visited 4 TBTFTC

A Leap Year Mega drew us to Adelaide. Today's activities include an Island trip, a CITO and Event, some local caching, and an event tonight (and more caching!).We are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this evening were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 2nd March 2024. TFTC, Freddo. I am so glad the weather has cooled.

02-Mar-24
Its day 9 of Team SQUIRMs adventures around South Australia and our last full day in Radelaide. We have some time left in the day before a Fringe show so its time for more caching. This was our last must find for the trip, but a Saturday night during the Fringe Festival was not the most ideal time to do it. There were muggles everywhere but thankfully they were busy in their own business. With GZ clear we took a seat and JDavs came up with the find. Loved the artwork!Tftc FreddoFind #5784

The SQUIRM Adelaide Tour - 2024 is almost over Its our final full day which means getting even more selective with our finds Theres still lots of do we want a __________? from the backseat of Staceys Mum, which means plenty of deviations to Davinells well laid out plan With a CITO in the middle of the day, an event in the early evening and Dizney in Drag tickets tonight we have the fundamentals of a timeline Saturday night during Fringe was probably not the best time to do this, but Rainman told me unless I wanted to climb a mountain in Queensland I needed this for something called an AUSMERThanks Freddo

#2901 This is my day 271, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia. After visiting Brisbane and Tasmania, now we are in South Australia.Today, we are leaving Adelaide and heading to Melbourne. We spent some time touring the city and found some last-minute caches.Thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ March 1, 2024 17:48:17

A late-night decision to take advantage of cheap airfares for dates less than a month after moving to Canberra committed me to a hectic 48 hours of geocaching and the most intensive stats-chasing I must've done to date!Despite having visited South Australia before, I'd never actually ventured into Adelaide and had plenty of fun being guided around it by some great geocaches.Secret deals done with RoamingHowie secured me a seat in his car for leap day itself (and I somehow ended up in charge of the day's itinerary in the process) as we ventured across Adelaide alongside TheBelgianKet, OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506 for some shenanigans of MEGA proportions! This oldie and high-FP cache was on the to-do list and we quickly ran down to gz from Rundle Mall to try and time everything perfectly!TheBelgianKet, having already located this one in the past, was vital in determining the exact whereabouts of the cache in this busy area.A very nice container here that works very well in this environment and possesses a magnet strong enough to take a finger off - favourite point worthy stuff! Thanks to Freddo for the hide! Smile

Not much idea with this one.

Thank you fo the cache!I arrived in Adelaide with my bestfriend geocacher Ironford for the Leap Year Mega. We spent the morning at the Mega location, and then we took a bus to the city centre to do more exploring and geocaching. We managed to cover a lot of ground, including a beautiful walk through the Botanic Garden, and Park Lands. We followed River Torrens back towards the North Terrace and even got to see fruitbats flying out at dusk. Adelaide was such a lovely place to discover!Ironford did the searching here, while I tried to shield her from outside view, but I have a suspicion that it all looked rather ridiculous. Very Happy

A huge thank you to the cache owner for creating and maintaining a wonderful cache. EP79 and I have embarked on a three-month long geocaching trip across the globe, and we are both grateful and thrilled to discover new places and new friends. The first part of our trip is dedicated to Australia and New Zealand. We started in Adelaide and fell in love with the city and the geocaching community. The main goal was the Leap Day Mega Event, but Adelaide was so much more than that!Another old cache in a lovely part of the town. Although there were plenty of muggles, we managed to log a find. Many thanks for an invite to a beautiful place and for a wonderful geocaching adventure. Greetings from Prague, the Czech Republic, Europe.

Teamed up with RoamingHowie, Brain, Papi4506, Geoturtle37 & TheBelgianKet to explore Adelaide, setting our sights on various types and leap day add-ons.We made our way here on foot from the previous cache, and TBK (seen in the attached pic in from of his hometown cafe) made quick work of the find amongst the handful of muggles enjoying their morning lattes.Another fav point heading your way. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Freddo ??~????????~

Together with letthemeatcache, ceejaydenno, and prezdough we had a plan to complete an icon run around the mega. With prezdough nursing a sore stomach after eating 6 sushi and spring rolls, he was left to watch the cars and we made our way to find some vegetables!ceejaydenno sure eats his carrots as he spotted this cache in a micro second! surprisingly none of the people enjoying the afternoon drinks even blinked an eye as we crowded around the sculpture.thanks

RoamingHowie, Brain, Geoturtle37, TheBelgianKet, OzHockeyChick and myself set off in a couple of vehicles to find as many of the Feb 29th add-ons as we could. GT37 loves attempting to find the oldest caches possible so she was very pleased this was on today's list. Interesting artwork, great location for this cache. Thank you.

**Vegetables** Some fabulous sculptures here. Whilst KristysAdventures, PrezDough and myself admired them, the blink and youll miss it manoeuvre by CeeJayDenno had us signing the log in no-time flat (I signed as LTEC for speediness). Phew, because there were a few muggles around but they seemed more interested in their drinks and conversations than to be bothered with us. Thanks Freddo, nice construction. Cache on ??*Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Explore. Dream. Discover.* **Mark Twain**
