Logs

It had been suggested that we make this a virtual/photo cache but I think that most people like to find a physical cache with a few goodies and a log book (maybe even a TB) and therefore we will replace it with one in the next few weeks.

This time we will place it in a slightly different co-ord to avoid the previous problems. We opted not to get out of the car when travelling past this time as the temperature was over 40C and the geo-terriers would have melted.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE CACHES!!

When you have to go You have to go but its always sad when they go where you plan to walk, Shovels are'nt that hard to use. If you can Sue place it further from where the Nomads park for the view but try to maintain the basis of the cache. The views are fantastic.

We couldnt believe it!!! Decided to check our cache on the way home from the Spring Carnival Cache only to find it missing -AND - the area HAS been used as a toilet!!!!!! I could not believe it as when it was planted (before the Grey Nomad migration season) the area was pristine. I wonder how they would feel if we travelled to their part of the world and crapped all over it!! Toilet paper strewn everywhere - amoungst other stuff and given that it rarely rains here things dont break down that quickly. Whatever happened to "take a shovel" if you have to answer the call of nature. They say young people have no respect!!! Enough ranting.

We SHALL reset the cache as the spot is still a magnificent view - -just working on something a little different. Stay tuned.

Though we could not find this one, I think that it is still there, so it'll have to wait until next year when we return again.

Stopped off to log this one as well on our way to Perth. Geoboss sat in car while we scampered off to find it. Got some unusaul looks from the Grey nomads. Swapped a badge for a spoon.

Have been told i am not allowed to stop for any more today!!!

Found it, 8:40AM. Very windy day and great views. Was beaten to it by Lyn Pat & Nat! Now, the long long drive to Perth....
Thanks for the cache!

6:15pm We arrived a little late to get the real views as Team Pathfinder expected us to see, instead we got to watch the sun set on the largest sunset panorama we have ever seen. The usual grey nomad caravans and buses had pulled up and made camp for the night so we had to hide from them, lucky for us the cataracts made us invisible and after a 10 minute search we found the cache, mind you it took 2 looks at the same rock and gap to discover it as the recent rain had moved some sand around the container and hidden it very well. We claim first finders for this one, lucky us. Great view and great place we would have otherwise driven past most likely. Left a small screwdriver set and took the same sort but larger one from the cache
