As the owner hasn't visited the geocaching website since Thursday, September 28, 2006, is it time to bury it too?
By the way, the GZ area shares a fence with a tip & is now quite on the nose...

Can't say we looked really hard, especially after Geo-bloke got a whopping great big piece of tree in his leg and needed to self operate.
Again, couldn't swear it's not there, but ??????
TFTH though, nice little wander - didn't need our kung-fu fighting skills to ward off Nasi Goreng today!!
We'll be back to have a hunt around without Muggle Mother!

Looked for this one -- definitely an interesting park, although I think like everyone I took the long way to GZ and my (recovering) sprained ankle wasn't so keen on the soft sand!
Unfortunately, I didn't find the cache, despite finding a very obvious possible location and a couple of alternates.
I won't swear the cache isn't there, but with "difficulty 1", other logs referring the seat I rested on at/near GZ while considering my search, and the note in the cache details about an "environmentally friendly location" I didn't think I should go scrabbling through too much undergrowth or in piles of fallen leaves.
Maybe I missed it, or maybe between September 2007 and March 2008 it went missing. I won't be back in the area any time soon for a second look, so am filing a DNF.

The grange
As written in Team Rubik’s log we arrived at the car park at night time and noticed a couple of fellas the two gents were not a least bit interested in what we were up to (and like wise with us) we found the cache easy enough and made the journey back to the car it was then when this cache really started to get interesting. The 2 fellas had now turned into a couple of car loads of young lads parked only meters from the car. I could see Rubik was getting worried he tried talking himself up hahaha it was so funny he was telling me about how he learned some kung fu moves from a guy at a tepenikki bar and about how he once went gangster on a cow (sams hollow GC14XN7) I don’t know what he was thinking he would do, only having dealings with heffers and nasi goring. In any case a plan was made to make it back to the car. Rubik took a couple of deep breaths, pumped himself up and charged out of the parkland towards the car it was very impressive seeing his back flips and tepenyaki spin kicks as he made is way to the car watching from a distance he reminded me of a little ninja turtle. After all Rubik’s carry on the lads couldn’t of cared less (no doubt they saw me and just didn’t want to make any trouble) I just walked down, unlocked the car open the door and drove on too the next cache. I am sure Rubik was very glad I was present for this one.

Silver Dice and I arrived to find a couple of strange looking kids hanging around the toilet block. We went in and found the cache, came out and found the numbers had multiplied. The gang looked fairly unfriendly. Silver Dice confided in me that he was glad I was there to protect him, I asked him not to weird me out when we're out caching alone.

This proved to be a pleasant little stroll in company with Geojen. We found the cache easily as it was visible from a distance so we hid it better on leaving. Interesting to see that the rangers had left a note in the book saying they'd found it by accident and were happy for the activity to continue. Geojen dropped off a practise golf ball.
Thanks.
Thanks.
After finding a beer cache it was appropriate that I wash it down with a grange. A nice walk through this reserve and a very suitable eco friendly hide at GZ. Thanks Ducks Guts.
Found @ 12:45pm while having a cache day out.

Nice little-known reserve, although a bit whiffy near the GZ. Took Captain Mercury (or should that be captain HP now), left sea-shell fridge magnet. Thanks for the cache Mr Guts.
The park itself was a discovery - always good to explore somewhere different.
Light aircraft overhead, cicadas, plus the distant roar of a soccer crowd.
Took Pencil, Ruler and French Girl.
(The girls, 3yrs 4yrs and 6yrs, were very excited)
Left Captain Mercury.

Found at 3:45pm after taking what seemed like the longest track in. Located cache a little too easily, so replaced cache in its spot with a little extra cover than when found. Took TB BMX Dude, LN and SL. Thankyou for the walk in a park that we certainly didn't know about before.
Went out, grabbed some shopping, headed over to this park.
When we arrived, it turned out that some of us had already been to this playground, not even realising the cache existed.
After we finished lunch we headed off, on what turned out to be the longest path possible, but enjoyable none the less.
A nice easy find, but the little man was MUCH more interested in trying to get a look at the Go Karts he could hear.
Took hair band, TB Echidna.
Left neck lace, TB BMX Dude.
Thanks The Ducks Guts.

Arrived here for lunch with LIVERPOOLRED. It was very windy and the pine cones were falling all around us. A short walk had us arriving at GZ and logging the cache @ 14:30 hrs. Along the way we saw various wildlife like a black snake and a muggle with a camcorder. Lets get out of here.

Nice and easy find approaching dusk on a Sunday arvo. Went the long way around inside the park, but enjoyed the walk with CodeBlueChick. TNLN TFTC
The GPS took me right to this good hide which is always a nice thing! Took coins, left snake. Wind was not so good today! A really nice little park nontheless. Thanks for the lovely walk and the cache, Ducks.
We were standing within 100m of this last Sunday...but we weren't looking for caches...we were smacking golf balls down the 8th fairway . I'm sure the Titleist Pro V1x that's in there must be one of my old ones...however I slice, I don't hook...so maybe not. A nice easy find in a geocaching-friendly spot without too many muggles to bother about. The wind was favourable and so the air smelled sweet. T: Recipe+Water Bombs L: EDO RAM+Aerial+1 Japanese Yen+US Quarter Dollar+1 Singapore Dollar+Hair tie (it was a nice big cache and we thought we should add some extra stuff to provide a bit of variety ).

Our fourth cache, I wasn't expecting the suburban bush land. Took a medal and left a golf ball (which we found in the scrub.) Note the park ranger's entry in the log book if you are visiting!
Found at 13:40. Nice walk though the air was a bit smelly due to the neighbours.[xx(]

Bit of a hunt turned up nothing, found a nice spot to relax for a few mins found it just a few mins later.
Tip wasn't too smelly, wind was blowing the right way. What a great park! I was so envious, someone was having a BBQ and it smelt so yummy!! Might have to return with a few snags.

A ram-raid in the pouring rain after visiting family at the nearby Necropolis. I signed the log but TNLN as I didn't want to get the whole thing wet by rifling through the contents.
Took nothing and left my name in the log book. Nice area.

one of 15 for day.a great bushland park -winding track and even a seat near cache find .took plane and car leftpencils and horse thanksthe ducks guts
Well I was expecting something to do with wines with this one and was pleasantly surprised with this patch of bushland in the midst of suburbia. I certainly got a good look at the area as I took the most sceninc if not longest route to get to the cache. Once at GZ I had no problem locating the cache. TNLN. Being just on disk the bird sounds were absolutely amazing. most refreshing. Pity about the quicksand and acid water in the nearby area. Thanks for the cache.
Found by Bob and Dan at 15:20
Took a bit of fiddling to find an access to this area - we'd been using Mapsource and it didn't really show a clear drive-in point (later checking of the Melways showed it better). Anyway, it's a pretty well-hidden bit of bushland and a great place for a bit of a walk and a cache. Great to see these "Friends of the (in this case) Grange" style of groups springing up and looking after some of the remnant bushland in suburban areas - make great habitats for native birds and wildlife.

In town from Sydney on business. Very pleasant walk in the park, and finding the cache was just as easy. There was no one around today. Friends of the Grange seem to do a good job of the area. I assume the high fences are to keep the cats out.

Down from Brisbane to visit Brother and his family. Took him and my 4 nephews out to do some geocaching. Found this one with out much trouble. Nice little area and an easy walk. Found in the company of pfh with thorin and Ekkles sheltering from the rain in the car.
We braved the rain and darkness and it was well worth the trip -- quite an elegantly hidden cache.
Signing the log was a challenge not just because of the rain but also because the log book was full. I didn't have any spare log books on me so I left the cache notes sheet so at least there's something there to write on. I'll have to start carrying spare log books.
I had no idea there were places like this so near by. Thanks for a great cache. Very atmospheric at night!

After the heavy rain we wnet for a walk for this cache. It was still very wet under foot. We let the youngest (3yo) find in the obvious spot.
The kids took the crazy dip that my brother left in Feb. We left some water balloons.

Couldn't find it, which is a bit depressing for what seems an easy cache. My GPSr shows the waypoint about 100m into the tip side of the fence. Probably me doing something wrong as this would have only been my second cache. Double checked the coordinates though and they were correct.
This was a fascinating area, the pine trees sure have wrecked the drive way and I was amazed at how far in to the park the cones were. It seems the park rangers have found the cache, there comments were that they are happy to let the activity continue there only concern was littering. It might pay to give them a call; I have a phone number if you need it.
Thanks

Found this one today, it is the 100th cache for Chefs on the Run. You would not know this park was here, it is a pitty about the smell from the tip and for the second day running we have been eaten alive by mozies.

Don't know what happened to my log for this one the other day. Samantha and I hit the Grange on the weekend, and thankfully Hermitage doesn't have the same aromatic boutique to it as this location does.
Very convenient that there is a seat right nearby... is that the only seat in the enclosed part of the park???
(Can't remember what we swapped as I'd thought I'd logged it already).

Still raining and no one else is around, bewdy. Strolled through the soaked bush tracks to the sound of the rain tumbling down on the umbrella. Did the caching stuff and strolled back to the car.
Found at 2pm after a nice walk through the bush to GZ. Rey was scared of snakes the entire way because it was so hot and she screamed when we saw a blue tongued lizard... Didn't see any snake though Took the very clever wire man and left a smelly pen and a smiley clip magnet. Thanks Ducks Guts!
Found about 6.20pm. Second visitor for the day. I had a picnic under the pine trees about 10years ago and wasn't aware of this area. Probably bush but not fenced then. Lovely piece of bush in the suburbs. Thanks for the chance to visit this place. Took smilie clip, left car air freshner

Second cache for the day. Thought we'd approached from the wrong side of the fence at first. But I think that the nearby tower had our GPS confused for a moment. Mozzies were enormous so we got finished as quickly as possible and headed back out into the sun. Thanks for the pleasant walk. Our thanks to the Duck's Guts for this one.
Nice walk but forgot the aerogard for the mosquitoes. Took wallet left lego bionica

What an unusual piece of bush (next to a tip too!!)

10.47AM I have ridden my bike thru this park about 100 times (even though were not supposed to. As I knew where most of the paths went I headed straight to it. the GPSr was directing me opposite the path of the cache. Found by sbalogh53 at 11:50 on 12/8/2004. I might have incorrectly put 11/8/2004 in the log book. This was a very easy find once I arrived at the GZ. 5 seconds max!
I had a pleasant walk through an urban forest. Thanks!
Took: Silver bracelets as a present for female team member
Put: Mondo Chinese Woman circa 1900

My 1st of 6 for the day. Took the long way in to the cache and the cache was found in about 10mins at 1128am. Swapped some picture hangers for a splash bomb.
A nice little park thanks for bringing me here The Ducks Guts another park I would not have visited if not for caching.

A beautiful walk on a sunny but foggy Melbourne morning.
The cache was found easily enough, once I worked out which direction to walk. Fortunately I chose the correct route.
I took a Whale and a Dragon Key Ring.
I left a Mini Splash Ball and a Bouncy Ball.
Thanks for a nice relaxing and thought calming walk.

Found after initially taking the wrong track. GPS put it on the other side of the fence, but found in the obvious spot. Took Travel Bug, left a South Australia At A Glance brochure. Great little spot here, in the middle of an industrial area. No-one would know it was there!
We used to use this area to drive our paddock bombs in many years ago and it was good to revisit. Sure has changed since we were kids. Found quickly in a nice setting.
Took Shark
Left Mondo Man
Also released TB Spot who has travelled down from Alice Springs with us.

Found it at 5.40pm on my way home from work. After an emotional day as a result of an important person (to me) leaving and having to do presentations etc, it was a nice diversion to walk briskly through the park and locate this cache. I didn't think too much about the best way to get to it from the car park - I just followed the GPS and it led me straight to it, with just a few minutes of sunlight remaining (I hope that what I wrote in the log book makes sense[?]). No swaps as I didn't have anything with me, but I took the TB Bear.
Thanks The Ducks Guts for finishing my day on a bright note.

Beaten again by maccamob in locating this one! We set off from the carpark just as it started raining again, so didn't have much time to enjoy the scenery. Concentrated my search in the corner, then realised I'd gone too far - spotted the likely hiding spot but maccadad reached it first! Grabbed a whistle keyring and left some hanging clips. Thanks for taking us to this fabulous area Ducks Guts!
Found by Mary & David at 1535. Another magical pocket of bushland in the suburbs that we have seen thanks to caching. Already there are spears of creamy wattle appearing. Still cold, although at least the heavy rain was holding off. We'll have to come back in the Spring. Took packet of clips, left pack of cards. Also left a visiting American TB "Bear Bug" to sample the bush lifestyle. Our thanks to The Ducks Guts.
On a dark and stormy night, teamkittens came and cached.... well, it was dark anyway.... except for the full moon. It was windy though! It's an amazing little area - thanks for bringing us here Duck Guts. No swaps, as it was another one of those accidental caching trips (oh look, we're going to have dinner with people, but the GPS says there's a cache just nearby - well, we're early anyway....)
Yea! Mr.Coffee's better half Shelby yelled "found it", while in the company of Da Bugs. If it was not for a clever play of scattering in all directions to confuse the situation we may have been beaten again, but like a play from the Superbowl we ducked and weaved, ran this and that way to cause mass confussion in a bid to find the cache.
Thanks Ducks Guts for saving the day and being able to hold up the Coffee head high.
Nice location for a picnic and have marked this onto my list.
Taken- Crayons and bike,
Left- Bangles, pliers, aussie stickers and Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
Regards Mr.Coffee Ian.

Beaten by the team Coffee to the punch on this one
These "Coffee's" are pretty sneaky, while we are led astray by Mr Coffee, Mrs Coffee is quietly searching an area some 15 metres away from us and finds the cache.
What an interesting park, in the middle of suburbia, dense bushland, interesting flora, the works.
We took: a plastic mouse and Ladybug.
We left: a glow in the dark caterpillar and for the life of me I can't remember what else we put in (still in shock by being beaten by Shelby "Coffee" I suppose)
Thanks "The Ducks Guts" (by the way, we were all wondering how you came to choose such an interesting username)
Regards Andrew: "da big bug"

Found with Rabbitto after considerable rain kept us indoors for a good part of the day it was nice to get out to this now well watered and pleasant bushland greenery. GPS took me right to the spot for an easy find.

Thanks Ducks Guts for a cache in an area well worth the visit.

Found at 3:45pm with Bazzars.
We were going to head out earlier but as per Biggles Bear log, it was a cruddy day and we stayed indoors till later in the afternoon. A surprisingly bushy and previously unvisited park for us. As we closed in on the cache, the Rabbittos found an extremely likely spot around 10m from GZ, but Bazzars ignored us, continued to the actual co-ords and picked up the cache straight away.
Thanks Ducks Guts from D,S & H B-A
Took a Green Grasshopper. Left a Yellow/Green Grasshopper. (Looks like our cache bag is getting some "Da Bugs" influence. )

Found 9:50, what a great little park? What crap weather? [:(!]
Thanks to the Ducks Guts for introducing us to yet another park that we were not aware of. TNLN.

Found this one at 0905. This is not the first time I've visited this lovely heathland--one of my mates is a member of the "Friends of The Grange", and I had a hand in developing their web site. It's even more lovely in Spring and Summer.
Visitors can also look across the adjoining wetlands to see possibly the most sea gulls you'll ever see in one place. I counted more than 20 pelicans too. The area's got everything! [^] Thanks to The Ducks Guts for giving me an excuse to return.
I also bounced a Travel Bug ("Leaving on a Jet Plane") through the cache so that it could get credit for the distance--its mission is to accumulate frequent flyer miles. I bounced it through a cache in Port Hedland during the week. I didn't leave it here, because I'll be visiting Perth next week, and I'll drop it there.
IN: Super glue, packet of crayons
OUT: Nothing

This was a great place to visit. I had the entire park on my own after the Electricians fixed the 'dud' Barbie. Had a nice walk around for interest's sake first.
Quaint little bush paths to follow. George was 'spot on' but decided to play 'ring-a-ring-a-rosie' at the last minute. Looked for the tell-tale signs and 'bingo'.
Thanks for the tour Ducks Guts.

This is hidden in a lovely suburban bush park, one I didn't even know existed. After a short walk along bush tracks I headed off to GZ and soon after had the cache in my hands.
Unfortunately, in my zeal to remember to bring some CD's to drop off on my way here, I left the 2nd most important thing at home - my caching bag. As a result, I had no stamp, no swap and no spare batteries. By the time I had written up my log, the GPS had died.
My thanks to The Ducks Guts for the cache and introducing me to such a wonderful park.

Found along with Em_Eagle at 1805hrs.
DOH! Muzza beat us to it.
A magnificent piece of bushland i never knew existed. Thanks for showing it to me.
Being an area under rehabilitation (for 4 years so far according to signage) i was a little concerned that we had to bush bash through scrub to get to the cache. IF others go to find this please be aware of the plant life and try not to damage to much.
Thanks to the ducks and the guts
