Lovely park and well worth the visit. Recommend a conversation with the two Cockatoos in the nearby birdhouse - they seem to particularly like to say "Hello mate". Phoned Rick-a-mortis and he confirmed that we had been looking in the right place - looks like it has gone!

thanks to Zorgon, who was down in the Hawkes Bay for the easter weekend. I will have to change this to a micro as the park is to well kept. this is the 2nd container that has been plundered in this park.
cheers for the phone call Zorgon

Methinks the gardners have been at the tree again. Spent quite a few minutes rummaging around in what was obviously the right tree.

14-Feb-05
We couldn't find it. Spent 20 mins or so roaming around trying to look bored. The gardner was keeping an eye on us from a nearby building. Plenty of muggles here to keep you on your toes.

What a great park. I loved all the different types of garden areas.

Found easily. TNLNSL

Hi everyone I have had to achive this cache until I can get down and replace it. The gardens around this cache container have been ripped out and we think that the gardeners have removed the container.

cheers rick-a-mortis

We couldn't find the cache. If it is where our GPS said it should be then the branches of the bush had all been recently prunned back quite a bit so it is possible it was removed by the gardener.

The most difficult part of this cache was the amount of "muggles" in the vacinity. Cheers, Grant.
P.S. we took the nail clippers, and left a sachet of sun block.

Fed the ducks and other birds with MY toast that was supposed to be for breakfast the next morning. (I went hungry).
Found the cache just as we were giving up. Tough to find.
Left Canadian Quarter, took nothing. Seems like the local
kids are using the cache to send messages back and forth
between themselves because there's a lot of weird "Joanie loves Chachi" stuff in that log book!

1st found for us. Nice day for a walk with the kids. Found with 10 minutes of looking. No pen to record our visit unfortunately (beginners error). Strange man watched us find and replace from a distance.
- bookmark
+ Hong Kong train ticket

Cheers

Nice place for a cache. Beautiful day here so it was lovely to take a walk through the gardens. Mum (who's visiting from Oz), thoroughly enjoyed it!

- stress ball (squishy thing)
+ cockroach and greenstone from South Island.

Thanks for that!
