We were heading to the area, so as usual i checked to see if any archived caches were around that might be still available to find Wink. This one seemed like it was still findable, but it was not to be Sad. We found WP1 ok at the alternate co-ords provided by Veruna ... the co-ords were barely readable, but with the help of the spoiler photo (complete with final cache co-ords Surprised), we set off in search of the cache.
At GZ, we searched for almost half an hour, around every tree and bush within 10 or 15m, but no joy for us ... looks like it may have been taken Twisted. Would love to come back without the kids for a final look before i declare that it's definitely not there though!

Sorry, I didn't know this was archived until I came to write the log - but not sure why, as all is still in proper working order, with the exception of WP1 coords being somewhat out. GZ is fine, cache and logbook happy.
At first I thought it may have been muggled, as there were lots of debris in the area that looked like it may have come from the cache - perhaps it is the detritis from a jewelry shop robbery??? (See photo)
Left Beaver GC - guess I had better go back and retrieve him...

Gosh!!! Good joking - found the cache - no problem. Enjoyed walk along to the cache... No swap. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.

What a shame that the cache is now officially archived. Can it be unarchived? Went to WPT1 because I did not have the final coords from my previous visit a few years back. Took me 15 mins to find the WPT1 (CD case) and found it at coorinds: S32°06.718 / E115°49.768 and went on to the cache. Gosh lots of overgrown shrubs and trees from my last visit. Found it on spot. Cache is in the excellent condition including a log book. Dropped 2 trackables and picked them up

As this cache is officially archived, I thought it best to go and get the 'New Years 2007' Geocoin that Keith had left here. I sort of remembered where the cache was, and found it again easily enough at 2:20pm. The co-ordinates are spot on anyway. The contents were a little damp, so I dried them out in the warm sun. The cache is still in good condition and well hidden.

seems a shame to archive it if its still ok!

I hadn't updated this one on the GPS or iPaq for a week, so I didn't know it had been archivedRed Face
As a result I FOUND the WP[:o)], even though GZ was out by 16 metres. I think it was probably SilverSubaru, on July 13, 2006 who, having "Found Wpt out in open after some wandering around at GZ ...Placed it back under a tree", moved it away from the corrugated iron etc, and placed the CD case at S32°06.715 E115°49.772.
The coords were very faded, but I had a black texta in the kit so I have re-lettered the card.
The cache itself is in excellent condition and coords almost spot onBig Grin
LCC, T fruit walker, L car & horse, dropped Brentford's New Year's 2007 GC.

The first clue is missing and the area is trashed with corrugated iron and broken glass. Time to archive this one and open it up for anyone else to place a cache.

A good easy two part cache which I enjoyed, thank you. A nice walk between the two parts. Took thong, left Dinosour.

Just re-logging the caches I have done under a different team name (3BlindEyes).

This one came up on the GPS as we were driving towards Fremantle, so we decided to stop as it was only 170m away. Didn't realise it was a multi until we found the CD-ROM Jewel case at the first waypoint. Nice afternoon today, so we enjoyed the walk. The cache is well camouflaged, but Ursula found it after a short hunt. She's much better than me at finding them. When we got back to the car, I got bogged trying to get out! Sad That's what you get for parking under a shady tree! Sigh. Some kind soul stopped and pulled us out eventually.

Found first point last week but it was getting late so finished off today, Australia Day 2006. Our first multi cache. Took Yoyo and left toy car. SL. Added more camo as muggles on trail bikes in the area.

As I was close to this one I did it. It was a very slow painful walk to the WP which I was determined to finish once I had started. It looks like the damp is starting to get to the paper. Found GZ quickly with it being very quiet today. Very nice area.

A nice straightforward multi and a pleasant walk around the lake.

Noisewise things were quite sedate out there today but on approaching the GZ (as if right on cue) a train came thundering by.

Took: Australian penny

Decided to head west to the lake lands to feast on some mos-quitoes (they breed them big in these parts) and of course some BONEFISH.

Grabbed TB so he could join us on a long weekend jaunt!

Nice TB by the way..if I was a Bower Bird instead of a Duck I would keep it!

22-Sep-05
Called by to grab the bug, but got beaten by the Danger Ducks. Ah well, took the opportunity to drop off Father of the Year TB anyway. Replaced the logbook bag, balance of cache is in good condition.

Had a little trouble with the GPS being inacurate at the waypoint but other than that was a pleasant walk in an area that I passed constantly without knowing it was there.

Thanks for the cache

23-Jul-05
Was using Gwiber's GPS but after a short search decided it must be out so turned on my stuff and found that we were about 20 meters away from the waypoint. After that we had no problems and both GPS were similar at the cache.
TNLN
Thanks for the walk at another spot we wouldn't have got to see otherwise.

16-Jul-05
We went back and searched for the cache after our initial failure Red Face. It was well hidden but the coordinates led us straight there Big Grin.

We took: penknife, finger skateboard and giraffe bookmark

We Left: Sheet of stickers, golf joke book, bug in resin keyring

12-Jul-05
Found the CD but did not realise the coordinates on the CD led to the cache (we forgot to bring our notes). We went away disappointed at the find.

When we got back to the car we discovered we needed to write down the coordinates so we decided to go back to find the cd cover again.

It was getting dark and we got within 300m of the cache but decided to turn around and look again another day.

Smile

Found the CD no problems, but just couldn't find the cache. Looked for a bout 15 mins but had to give up. I will be back.

29-Apr-05
Found cache... no probs, lovely walk - lots of road noise, train as well!!!
Took torch - left pocket knife, Jeep 4x4 TB and our calling card. Thanks. 14:00

12-Apr-05
Found this one relatively easily. The cache itself was a simple find, but tracking from the waypoint to the cache in the dark and rain was not so simple. Ended up backtracking to the "rush hour" to pick-up the path and then taking it from there. Still ended-up with some off-track wandering as I suspect I missed a track. The cache is in good condition. Took (removed) the Subway napkin and the brochure and left a alloy torch and Red Rooster toy (I know, but it is still all wrapped up and child might enjoy it). Thanks for the hunt and the walk ... managed to get around 3 km, less that desired but left my run to late.

12-Feb-05
Thanks for the enjoyable walk. 6pm we visited and it was a lovely evening for it.

T: Carabiner Keyring
L: Emergency Shaving Kit

Thankyou

We found the first clue (CD case) laying in full view and carefully hid it. From there it was off to the final cache.

I must say that the cache name became a lot clearer and wasnt at all what I had thought.

We couldnt believe our luck when we found TB Bugs was in with the goodies as we intended to find TB Solly later in the day.

I have finally managed to find this cache. It has taken me a couple of attempts and I have no idea why. In the end I walked straight up to the correct bush and found the cache in the first place I looked.

Took nothing, left "Bugs" TB

We found this cache with Scytale. As he had had problems withthe last part in the past we allowed plenty of time for the three of us to conduct a search at the final location.
In the event it was an immediate find Smile I think this is my 101st cache for the month

Yeah! My first Aussie Cache.
A bit of a test for my crutches first getting over fences and then negotiating soft sand (need bigger crutch tips).
Found the 1st stage easily and was able to drive to reasonably close to find the final.

Thanks Cache Rangers

Once again.. Going thru the logs to log finds that i never logged before.. Razz

I remember this one like it was yesterday.. Devar jumped the fence lol Razz

17-Aug-04
Ahhh another easy find. About 9:10PM. Jumped the fence to find the first cache, not sure what the structure nearby was, but wot and Gogetter didn't want to go onto it in case it was private property (bah! wimps!) so I was on my own. Razz
Found the first coords and then it was off to the next ones. Played on the train tracks for a minute or so and found it! Thanks for the cache!

16-Aug-04
Last one for the morning. Started to run out of time so I got the 1st clue and drove around the otherside. Talk about noisy. Planes, trains and automobiles. Managed to get crapped on by a bird Sad and I hate spiders. Thanks for the hunt TNLNSN

Visited today with Skit and majik. Found the cache after a few minutes waiting for a friendly dog who wanted to steal our bottle. Nice walk, I really like some of the scenery around there. TNLN. Thanks for the hunt.

This cache just moved along nicely. the clues were well placed and the cache was a bit tricky to find ...but not impossible. I used the clues but not the photos to find it. While there a train passed carrying Cyanide. You have to hope they have good safety built into the carriages as they go straight past the houses nearby. Took the coaster and added the Skate fingerboard.

12-Jul-04
Finally found it after a bit of searching. Co-ords spot on. thanks for the find.

Found at 1110. The coordinates for both waypoints are spot on. I had a pleasant walk of about 650m to the final cache. I could have driven to Crake Pl, and had a walk of only 200m or so, but hey! the point of the exercise is to get into the outdoors, isn't it? I heard a train go past as I was walking to the cache, but unfortunately, it was gone by the time I got there. Thanks to The Cache Rangers for the cache.

Found this one today and a nice multi it was, the first co-ords are spot on and found it no worry's, not sure weather to walk or drive closer to the second cache so took the car, if I had a 4x4 I could have got a lot closer but enjoyed the walk just the same.
took squishy earth ball

What a pleasant little cache to start the day rolling. Found after a short search, it was very well hidden and I almost missed it. The gps was indicating elsewhere. T: cake of soap, L: bouncy ball. Thanks to the Cache Rangers for an great cache

Parked at S39°06.539 / E115°49.720 and begun the journey to find the first clue. Found it on spot and continued journey until the arrow is on beam before got off from the track. It took us a few minutes to find it because we didn’t use the spoiler photo and hint to assist us finding it. We were the third team after the Kelly Gang (ex Glenrowan) Surprised to find it. Thankful that they have left or we would be ambushed. TNLNSL. TB is destined to the cache. We stopped at the plaques to read and some art objects while walked along the track returning to the vehicle. It was quite eerie and fun night that we did. Thanks for the hunt and walking exercise.

Found this one whilst working at Bibra Lake today. Never been here 'b4' and had a little trouble finding a carpark nearby. Eventually found the first and proceeded direct to the final cache now I know what my error is compared to The Cache Rangers GPS I might re hit 'Right on Track'
