TFTC Jim & ChrisGreat lookout. Heading east to NSW, after holiday in WA. Checking out a few places of interest & caches as we travel.
Visiting WA from Vic. Had a great weekend at WAGB and now heading E seeing the sights and ticking off LGA's.Cache was found quickly and signed. Great view from up hereTFTC SL TB's visited
I didnt like wading through the long grass, but an easy find in the end. It was a great view over the flat plains from up here
One of the loneliest caches ever. A tea stop on our way home from WA. I dont recommend this cache when the native Stipa grass is in seed. TFTC
We were camping here on out caravanning trip around Australia. Decided to grab this one in the morning and I made a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache
#5644 Our second find in WA and a good sized sturdy cache too. Wonderful views neaby which we admired for a moment before hitting the road again to get as far as we could today further towards Esperance. TFTC jim@chris.
On a big adventure from Canberra to Esperance and back to celebrate a year of good things (Happy Birthday Krispystrips). Today was day 12 of our journey and we continued our meander across the Nullabor covering the stretch from Mundrabilla Roadhouse to Balladonia. Today was a day filled with cave exploration, beautiful birds, strong winds and picturesque landscapes. All happening! There is always so much more to see on these drives than we ever have time to do, but we cram in as much as we can! Grabbed this cache as we travelled along with Krispystrips and GLISS! Thanks for the cache.
A quick find after checking out the views. Found with Nibletricecakes and KrispyStrips on our Road to Esperance trip. TFTC.
Find number 13674 at 4:56:27PM on Monday the 26 August 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leasurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back. After spending last night at Koonaldra Homestead we headed west again in the morning, not sure how far we'll get today, just driving, caching and golfing Arrived here to camp the night and discovered a cache as well **Thanks for placing this cache jim@chris**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
Found as we continue our journey east and home. Know we have stopped here before but cant remember why we didnt look for the cache. Oh well done this time cache is dry. All good. TFTC
As previously stated it was a little soggy! As we are camping weve tried our best to dry it out.and its now back in its spot. Great to see it still going after all these years!!
The old saying 'you can see for miles' was thought up for places like this. Fantastic views over the Nullarbor Plain and a cache that's 20 years old... awesome! TFTC jim@chris.
My final day on the Nullarbor Plain and the landscape was changing as I drove west. Lots of stops for scenery, caches, snax, and a stretch. All in all, it has been a nice drive Met some interesting peeps, too. Only spotted one camel, and the poor thing was deceased After beadling down the longest straight road in Australia, I was so excited to come to a bend in the road Prob could have driven to GZ, but enjoyed the short walk from the lookout. Fun find TFTC Jim@Chris
Quick find with SJG66, we have replaced the container and binned the junk that had been left in the old one over the years. TFTC
Tftc. It may only be small hill lookout but that's as good as it gets out here.
2478 - Continuing on my journey east along the Eyre Highway, this was the next one I decided to grab. There were a few caravans pulled up in the rest area, but I drove along one of the tracks until I was just a short distance from ground zero. Then it was out for a look for the cache and a look at the surrounding landscape. I found it after I checked a few possible spots and actually saw the container and initially dismissed it as being the cache, before I returned and found it at 1:49pm. As I was traveling light, I unfortunately didn't have anything to help out with replacement of the cache. This is one of the 80th oldest caches I have found, and that includes heaps of them that were placed in the USA, which has al lot more historical caches than we do in Australia, so thanks for placing this one here for us to find Jim & Chris.
Needs someone with time to dry the book out - sorry we couldnt. & didnt have a container either. Our #16 find. TFTC. Pic shows it under this.
Tftc came up to check out the magnificent view. And found there was a cache up here too
A lovely little spot to stop. Unfortunately we didnt have a container to help. Hopefully someone will have a spare one as the log is all wet.
On our travels we found ourselves heading west and took the opportunity to do this cache, after a Quick Look at the lookout we wandered down to the cache for a nice quick find, log was a bit wet but still able to sign, thanks for placing it.
Found after admiring the view of the Nullarbor.A quick easy find in a great spot.Log was wet but just signable. I forgot a pen so signed SS with the pink pencil that was in the cache.SL TNLN TFTC Awarding a favourite point
Thanks for the geo. Great stop for the kids to stretch there legs. Lid is broken and the pad is wet!
We spent the night at the Madura roadhouse, and this morning before we left the area we came to have a look from the top of the hill at the lookout. What an incredible view which no photo will capture. It was then time to have a search for this old cache before heading further west to Norseman today. Thanks Jim & Chris Domsky
Just passing! We always enjoy this drive. Geocaching makes us stop and take more of the landscape in. Left a teaspoon STL TFTC.
We decided to came up here for the night on our way back home to the SW of WA from the Leap Day Mega event in Adelaide. Rain and gusty winds overnight, maybe we should have parked further towards the back, not to worry as a stunning view.Grabbed cache has we were heading out, sadly I didnt read previous logs Bach home or would have brought a new container with me.Emptied a little water out. Even managed to sign the logbook even tho its wet (used my heat from my hand to dry it a little)TFTCAwarding a fav for the stunning view
Thank you to the owner Jim and Chris for this cache. Ws totaly wet not able to write in.

#811 ~ Little drive off the main drag but soon found the location. Cool camouflage. Caravan muggle checked to see if I was ok and asked if I was trying to get reception. I didnt correct him just said yeah!!! No reception here if youre with Optus Telstra might have better luck. TFTC jim@chris!!
TFTC interesting container!! One of our finds as we cross the Nullabor. Very breezy and cold up here today.
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day three travelling from Border Village to Norseman on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. It was very bleak and cold morning and had rained a lot during the night. The temp did get somewhat better later in the day. There are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.I proceeded to the border check and as i was prepared with completed paperwork the fine man was suitably impressed and and it took him about 2mins to check my car and a quick chat and i was on my into WA. The border man said that nobody ever turns up with paperwork which impressed him greatly.Stopped at Eucla for a short while and then continued west and stopped by here for a rest and leg stretch and a quick find of the cache. As i removed an object it fell and gashed my leg. never seen so much blood ever. So a quick dash to the car and tied a rag around my calf and signed the log and continued on my way. This ended up being the first of a run of three things to happen this day including a flat tyre and the motel in Norseman stuffing up my motel booking so luckily i got a room at the pub.As it was very overcast the view was great but the weather made it somewhat gloomy. Thanks for the cache jim@chris
What a great spot to stop for a view. Didn't take long and Mr Parko spotted the cache. Thanks for the hunt
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. At first we thought it was gone ... then re-read the hint
Crossing the nullarbor we stopped here for sign the logbook, greetings from Germany
Camped here last night and had to wait for nearby campers to move along before making the find. Great to read some old logs. Tftc

Time for a fuel stop! Like everyone else we are heading west it seems! I’d love to come back and explore the local caves. TFTC and the fun!
Found during my one-month adventure in Australia. In the process of logging my finds months later, my goal is to log my 50+ outstanding logs before the end of the year! ??When we found it back in April, the logbook was full. We loved the camo and giving it a fave point.
Quick stop here. Nice views.
Heading west for one mintue of moon shadow. This is one of stops on a long journey.

On a big road trip to Perth - Brim, Paruna, Murray Town, Kooma View Farmhouse, Penong, Nullarbor Roadhouse, Mundrabilla Roadhouse, Caiguna Roadhouse, Norseman, Kalgoorlie and Wave Rock. Today we were travelling from Mundrabilla to our next stop at Caiguna with a stop here on the way to check out the lookout ,stretch our legs, and find the cache. Mr. Pooky pretty much drove to within a few metres of the cache then it was a short walk to GZ. It was Mr Pooky who made the find after Mrs Pooky walked straight past the obvious to look elsewhere, We then headed over to check out the incredible lookout. Our photos don't really do it justice. TFTC at this great lookout. TNLN
On a trip across the Nullarbor from Adelaide to Perth. After crossing the state border the weird timezone in the area after Eucla really messed with my phone, especially after we lost network connectivity, and suddenly the phone showed 21 July 2022 as the date, and a time about 10 hours out. I think we may have fallen into a wormhole and time-traveled to this specific spot.
Anyway, at least the cache was still there. Initially, I was a bit stumped because I couldn't find it, but soon my brain got into gear again, and there it was, safe and sound. An odd find, but then again, one does find strange things in the bush.
All good here. I signed the log book and put everything back as I had found it. Then back to the road for more driving west.
