3/09/11 11:09 AM Find #448 and a quick find, sign in a gap and we're outta here. TFTC.
Had a go at this one well after dark. Parked nearby and discreetly ventured with Dylan 7a in the parkland though not discreetly enough as to set off half the neighbourhood dogs! That aside, found the pathway and the cache was not where I first imagined it would be - but see what happens when you don't read the clue! Co-ordinates were spot on as was the clue when I eventually read it - there it was, safe and dry and in good condition. Best done in daylight hours I suspect, though I reckon the dogs in the nearby houses would wake up the dead with their yapping no matter what the hour! TNLN. Thank you to 'caughtatwork' for another enjoyable caching location (even in the dark) and cache.
An easy find on a really lovely sunny afternoon in a beautiful area (and the moorhen didn't 'spill the beans'). TNLN. TFTC.

It's official, my little brother is feral! I'm hoping Mum & Dad decide to go home soon!
Found in the late afternoon after our outing to the Organ Pipes National Park. Tempers starting to fray as EB Nano starts to act up!! TFTC
Suscoe's 17th and last find for today before the trip home.
A nice spot to finish off.
A fairly quick find after one of us (the male one) tried to dismantle something he should not have.
Wrong meaning got in the way!!!!!!!
The cache was soon found, signed the log and popped it back safely for another day.
Thanks to caughtatwork for bringing us to this spot.

Nice easy find in a great spot in Caroline Springs, was good to get out and get another one. SLTNLN, T4TC
Found on an evening caching run on my way home from work. TNLN but was tempted by the soap. TFTC
Quick find in a lovely area near the entrance to Caroline Springs. Cache OK but a little damp. TFTC
Little MAS0N seems to have no trouble when the hide is amongst rocks. Must be an advantage to have his head somewhat closer to the ground I guess. TFTC
Well the moorhen must still be watching the cache because one saw me off the site as I left. TFTC.
Yep easy find, it was just viewable from the bridge so I covered it up a bit more after signing the log.
Hope we don't get much more rain or this cache may get flooded. The water was high but quick find without getting wet

28/12/2010 15:30 Found: #146 log book full. Appears to be the original log book from 6 years ago so signed on another page that had been used by others. Even the back of this log is chockas. Easy find and nice short walk. TNLN SL TFTC
Sorry, the moorhen blabbed, and we found your cache straight away! Very nice area here, TFTC.
A nice quick find on a nice quiet day... A perfect day for caching as it turned out... [^] The cache was again suffering from water ingress and I had to drain what was in the container. Seems that this one is prone to getting a little damp... I should also advise that the log book is full and even both sides of the back page are full... It really needs a new log...

My 600th find.
A nice easy find on a great melbourne afternoon.
Great little wetland. Tried to find this one a while ago. Don't know how I missed it last time.
Cache was full of water, emptied out as best I could.

9th of 35 finds on a night caching run with my mates Blacklegend and Xraydelta1. Saw a frog at GZ . . . but it was dead. Nice location and quick night time find. Xraydelta1 parted ways at this point and it was myself and Blacklegend for the rest of the night. Thanks for the hide.
Found with geohubby keeping a look out for any walkers. Found myself on my hands and knees with bumb in the air for the second time today Seems like it's becoming a habit. Took smiley badge and left smiley flower. TFTC!
No visit by me, but had cherub_child drop a geocoin off for me. I thought I'd have it put on the other side of town to see if it will take itself back home.

Found this one quite quickly today, as it was similar to another one I found earlier. Nearing the end of my alloted caching hours today, made a sprint back to the car to squeeze one final cache in before I had to race back home to pick up the kids. TNLN, TFTC.
Easy find, quiet day today in this park.. a few duck's came to say hello.. TFTC SL TNLN #378
I liked the moorhens. I've already established that I'm a sucker for wildlife though. Easy enough to find, but again was quite a scenic area that we enjoyed. I'd love to live in some of these estates, they're quite pictuesque compared to some of the older non environmental estates that had gone up years earlier.
Visited with Bralock. Loved the wetland area, loved the moorhens feeding their young not far away! The dogs barking at us as we walked to the area was a bit of a pain, though I'm certain their bark was worse than their bite (wasn't going to test that theory). Oh, the log in this was full and we didn't have a spare with us.

Another visit to Melbourne, so some more early morning caching. Thankfully some more caches have sprung up since my last visit. My younger sister was assisting me, and it wasn't until I re-checked her assigned areas that the cache was found. TFTC
Up to this point the navigator in the car was doing a good job. Ditch the car some distance away and had a nice walk in the park. TNLN TFTC
Since the notes were written, it seems that quite a few houses have been built .A nice spot to sit and a good starting point for a run along the creek. Thanks.

nice area..a just married couple were having photo's taken by the lake...in the rain. tnln tftc.
Had several students of mine doing a karate grading in Caroline Springs, so thought I may as well drag the 3yo around a few caches "on the way home". This was the first of six for the afternoon. A nice little park that we drive past periodically. The 3yo really liked the "fancy" bridge nearby.
This was the first find of the day.
A nice little walk around an area we had never had the chance to visit.
It is a really nice wetland.
Thanks caughtatwork

Found at 3.35pm A pleasant spot to watch the waterfowl. TN Left a Party Popper TFTC This cache is also in need of a new log book.
Once again parking is a problem in this area so for all intentional purposes I visited the medical centre. GZ is a lovely spot and ticks all the boxes as far a caching goes. Location is first class with lots of water, bird life, bridges and is the first time I have been in this area. I have heard of it before but I could live in an area like this.
The cache was an easy find at 15.40 and the second caughtatwork cache today.
This was a quick find in a pleasant spot. Nobody was around, which made my search and replacement easier. Seems a decent area to live in. Thanks.
Nice little spot ...
sat down and read the log book for a little while .. was nice to have the time ..

On our way home from a great weekend in the company of square dancers at the Grampians and then 4 Gen dance at Rockbank. Called into this lovely housing estate setting. My coords were out but thanks for some young buddy Geos near by, who enlightend us to the way. Even verifying with buddy Geos to make sure I had entred data correct I was still 7.66 yards out. Thanks guys for your help and welcome aboard.

The young daughter and I were over this side of town today and we both needed a caching fix. She, because dad knew that there was a park and a bit of a walk near this one, and I, because well... I was hoping to pick up a new pathtag.
We were both rewarded. There were plenty of brave frogs calling and somehow managing to avoid the lone moorhen in the lake but no people about.
Took: PrincessDiala pathtag. Left: Team stagetree pathtag.
Cheers caughtatwork. Thanks for the pathtag hotel.

5th for the day and the 5th on my USA trip. Found at about 0005, just after midnight. Staying in Caroline Springs tonight, so i thought i would head out and grab a few traditionals. SLTNLN. With my brother shane, took a photo.
Initially a bit off the mark in my hunt here but widened my search radius and found it OK. Nice little spot.

took a little effort to find.but got there in the end.not much water in the lower lake. shame the locals dont pick up after their abundence of dogs...so please keep a lookout for the abundence of "dog mines" on approach!
Another one that keeps popping up in my Top Ten unfound closest to home, so good to finally cross this one off my list. A quiet and peaceful morning around here today, so I was able to track down the well-hidden container without any problems. Said "Hi" to a passing muggle as I was signing the logbook, then returned it to its place. Left "Barry" travel bug, as this seems like a nice place to leave a turtle! Thanks for showing me this part of Caroline Springs, caughtatwork!
2nd for the afternoon, and with the help of the clue was found quickly. Always appreciate a good clue when your time is limited, so thanks for that.
The water level seems very low, but hopefully the winter rains may help that. (You can but hope........)
Unlike the pond, the log book is overflowing, but managed signed the back cover. TFTC.
