Logs
Found on the way to the Andamooka Opal Festival in the company of Team Bounty and Team Joe (Grumpy). TNLNSL. Cheers and thanks for the cache.
Investing in a TomTom saves fuel and embarrassment. SInce this is archived, spoiler pic of the cache insitu included.
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
This came up on my list while I was nearby as well so I went and found it.
It's only now that I have come to logging it that I find it's been archived?
Well it's definately still there and still in good condition as well[?]

Should have checked the notes before looking for this one.
But as luck would have it it was still in place and I got to sign the log.

A very easy find, nothing wrong with this cache, for some reason it wasn't archived on my end either.

Thanks will keep looking for more.

A walk that you were glad you were taking in winter because in summer it could be scary with snakes around.
Thanks
Thanks
Another find whilst working in the area. No flies today (toooo cold). Found the cache right where the GPS said it would be (and right where Scary Spice was pointing). Made the mistake of putting the GPS down on the sand whilst filling in the logbook (I now have a red sand GPS). Thanks HardUnits
This is a lonely cache! Beautiful winter day, -4C last night but no flies. Took frog, left pencil and sharpener and sponge for wiping brow. Also replaced rather tired container. Thanks.
first one found with new toy, nice easy one to start, the road to Andamooka was like this once, took scratchy left valve tool.
Found with new Christmas present. Took nothing, left stickers. First cache ever.
On a week-long geocaching expedition through country SA we found ourselves on the road to Roxby Downs! Thought we'd go and have a look. After a cruise down the main street it was off to find the cache. Took nothing, left a $1 instant scratchie for the next visitor - good luck. Now where are the opals?
Correct guys. It is the other way!!
Like many caches it all makes sense when you get there.
For a lonely spot it has had more than a few visitors. There were three more logs that have not been listed yet.
To avoid the flies, which are very very very very friendly at the moment, I chose to visit at 6am.
Lovely spot to watch the sunrise.
Actually I meant to go last evening, but somebody locked the keys in the car.
Doh!!

Found by Ian Mac and friends 2.55pm. Left key ring and took bear. Good cache, and found easily. Thanks.
Couldn’t get to this one yesterday as the road was closed, but today had no problems.

Great hiding place. Something different, it was raining this morning as we searched for cache. Took stubby holder and left Pooh Bear that we had picked up from the Space Race Base Place cache. If you come up here it would be worth prebooking a tour to the Olympic dam mine as we missed out because it was fully booked. The mine looks to be a huge place and worth a visit.

I hope you get more interest from people up this way. Caches are a great way to get people off the beaten track to see things that you otherwise would not know were there.

Paveghost, TB 437153 "What the heck am I?!", and Earwoods took this side trip on the way to Andamooka from Woomera. Nice bit of hunting around for the right road into the general area but we found it. Also enjoyed the bit of scouting around the target area for the cache as you gave no hints. Walked around it a few times until we found it - very good hiding spot! It appears we are the first to find this cache so we felt privilaged - this is my first virgin cache find!
T: Handmade pen holder (nice job whoever made it; don't usually find something this nice in a cache).
L: Chapstick for future cachers to this dry area of the world.
Thanks for this cache and good luck generating geocaching interest in the area!
