This was the closest cache to my hotel. I wandered into the churchyard and had the place to myself. I couldn't find the required information, but suspected that it was behind the builders fence. I did find some other interesting markings. I made a return visit the following morning to have another look at the southern wall of the church, and when I turned the corner I came across a couple, who shall I say, was enjoying an intimate moment before work! The young gentleman opened his eyes to see me standing 2 metres away with GPS in hand, though I think I was the more embarrassed!. He motioned to his lady friend, who had no interest what's so ever in stopping. So waited them out near the entrance, and they both had their eyes down as they walked past. I have to say that I have waited out muggles before, but perhaps not under these circumstances. It was a little too much for an innocent Aussie lad like myself! Though some may say that it is fitting with the "Fleet Street" culture that the Biritish public as subjected to daily!
Anyhow I still came up empty handed but forwarded what I had to the cache owner who gave permission to log the cache.
But while I could not see the spire behind the scaffolding, I did see a photo of it in the ST Brides pub, and yes I think it looks exactly like a wedding cake! Will give it a favourite as do like a little bit of history (not for the show), and it was an interesting place and a good lesson. Will use it for future BBQ trivia discussions.[^]
Found while on a visit to the UK.

Found today while walking around on my last day in London. Answer e-mailed and reply in the positive received.
Thanks for showing me the area. Most of the graves are older than where I come from.........

Luckily the vagrant asleep on the bench had his back turned and by a quick sweep of the appropriate spot the information was quickly gained. TFTC
Visited this spot last year with no luck during a very busy lunch hour. Deserted today in the cold so a quick find. TFTC
What a sweet location, never realised it was here. The wall 'grafitti' is amazing. TFTC

Took me a while as there was a leaf just in the wrong place! Finally managed to get here when it was open. TFTC
Visiting from Australia for a couple of weeks.
There was a wedding party in the courtyard when I first arrived, but they were just leaving. Had to look for a while to uncover the information. Answer cofirmed by email.
Loved the church, thanks for bringing me here.

Took a while to find this one. Spooky as the answer has something to do that is very close to my wife and I.
Great one - although it took me ages to look around the church and crypt but I saw no one at all. Email on it's way
16:36 Found after a quick hunt, GPS not much use here. Resorted to the A to Z. Email on the way. Just caught this one as the church warden was about to lock the gates for the night. Thanks for the cache.
Sunny Saturday morning and no-one around in the churchyard - there was a large queue outside the old Daily Express building across the road for one of their rare open days which looked worth joining if I had more time. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David from Australia at 0930. We'd been past here on earlier visits to London, and now we have a good reason to look around again. Mary just loves old places and exploring cemetries, so this place qualifies on both counts, and didn't dissapoint. Our thanks to the Riggs Family for the invitation.
Thanks for taking us to this historical site.
Unfortunately the crypt and Roman pavement were closed.
It was interesting to see the shrine devoted to correspondants that have been killed in the Iraq war over the last 2 years. A sober reminder of what's going on over there.
email on it's way

With very bright sunlight overhead, the words on the stones were impossible to read.
