I think it's time to let this one go and free up the spot for others."
Nah, I don't think so Calculon.
The cache is still in place, so maybe I'll just convert this to a traditional cache.
Would that keep your sock puppetry out of my business?

Thought I'd better get this one while I still could! Having been beside the cache twice but not getting it for various reasons I wasn't going to let it go that easily! T Donosour, L Hippo. Thanks c@w for the cache, the hunt, and the tip.
Regrettably the plaque at the Russell Street gates is missing. I'll look into whether this cache is deserved of being redesigned.
I looked around for a while, but the park was fairly full and I was starting to have some interest taken by my search. I will come back at another time when I may have a better chance.
First to find new logbook! I have travelled past here on my train for years and only recently realised that a cache lay in these gardens. Ever since then it has been on my must do list. Did my tour of duty and approached gz and thanks to the new container did not go away empty handed.
Thanks to the DNF log by Alansee, I dropped past this location earlier today and noted that the cache container has been muggled.
I took along a spare just in case it needed replacing so a replacement has been put back in the same place.
Thanks for the DNF, it really helps a cache owner know when something may be astray.

Found all the clues OK but no cigar when I got to my calculated gz. Recalculating gave no change but there is a sign of something having broken away recently. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Found the end cache without too much trouble. That was the easy bit. I then had to put it back in place. Just at that time a heap of muggles decided to walk past. I must have look like a wierdo hanging around the garden in the middle of a heap of beer bottle that must have been from easter celebrations. Got there in the end.

Found by edmil & maddie. Was quite accustomed to this areaas our Area west office is located here. The sad thing was though, I had never bothered to look around the area when I visited. But thanks to this cache maddie and I had the ooportunity to read the history. The cache was located easily. Added and removed a TB. Thanks for the cache.
@4pm - 2nd cache since I arrived in Australia from Denmark
Went here from Hampstead Rd on my brand new bike... taking a nice ride in the sunshine, paying a visit to Sunshine
I like the story, however a bit trivial to enter the intermediate WPs to find a plaque that is just 20m away.
Trying to find the cache, I looked quickly at the correct cache location, but didn't seem to find anything. But after looking a bit in the area and decrypting the hint, I took a 2nd look at the 1st place and there it was... sweet.
Nice cache, valuable content (I guess because it's pretty new -> replaced).

Found at 2.30pm GAFF? This nearly turned out to be a DNF. I calculated the final co-ords after learning some fascinating history about the area and buildings and then drove around to the park and walked straight upto GZ. Checked the spot where the cache was supposed to be, but it was nowhere to be found. I then called C@W to confirm whether I was looking in the right spot, which he acknowledged and consequently it was proclaimed that the cache had been muggled. C@W then made my (hot) day by offering to come out and replace it! So 20 minutes later I was signing the log book, swapping a Strawberry fragrence scent bottle for a pack of hooks and having a good chat to Peter. Thanks C@W for your help and prompt attention to your cache.
A very informative cache. The historic type that I like so much
After the sky gods pointed me away from the the final GZ, I took a few minutes of standing back before my height gave me the advantage of being able to spot the cache in it's hide out before moving up to acquire it.

2nd cache of 4 for the day.
I met a fellow cacher (acts2youthgroup) when I started this cache and he was on his way to GZ.

Second cache of fifteen f0r the day. Found at 13:00. This was a great little History lesson and I loved the gates and the old buildings. I got to the last point, I had gathered all the numbers required looked up at the gates and thier was someone standing there with a GPS in his hand, it turned out to be Eric from team Oenze. I left him to gather all the info and headed off to get the cache I was on the way back as he arrived so I watched from a distance, it was interesting to see that his GPs took him on the same little detour that mine did, near the seat before settling and show true GZ. Thanks for the cache.
3.30pm
This was a trip down memory lane for Max as his Parents and Grandparents were farmers and he grew up amongst some of the mahinery produced at this establishment. Finding GZ was a challenge, and so many needles, care must be taken when searching here.
Took a Blue Bracelet and left one of our Smiley Faces.
A really well executed cache, thank you again caughtatwork,

We collected the clues for this one a couple of months ago, thoroughly enjoyed the trek and the information learned about the harvester man. Unfortunately by the time we had collected all the required info and made our way to GZ it was about 17.00 on a weekday and there were never ending streams of muggles passing by. Driving nearby tonight we thought that this maybe a good opportunity to complete this cache and we were right. We had GZ all to ourselves and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks caughtatwork for an informative well put together multi

Found it this time in company with GeoJack (and with some help from the cache owner, I'm a little ashamed to say) It wasn't that hard really. Just wasn't thinking correctly. At least I did have the correct co-ords.
There was a muggle nearby doing some arm swinging exercises but he had his back to us and apparently stayed that way. No swaps as I forgot to get some out of the car, probably could have gone back to get one, but didn't.
Thanks Caughatwork. It was good to meet you and I'll move the TB on as discussed.

Had some time to fill in before attending a work conference this evening, so had a go at this one. Very interesting history lesson and being an old country boy I have an appreciation of the Sunshine Harvestor machinery. Have even worked some of it. Very impressed with the wrought iron work in the gates. My dad would be even more interested I think. I'll bring him here one day soon.
Don't think I made any mistakes with the clues, just couldn't come up with the goods due to lack of daylight. Will try again when I'm near here again.
Thanks caughtatwork. Seems I've had a couple of miss hits on yours.

Interesting history of the Harvester Man. Spectacular gates.
Bad muggle problem on my first try today - place was thick with Botchi men sitting almost next to GZ. Returned later in the day - still a lot of muggles walking across the rail on their way home. Eventually had a break and grabbed the cache.
Took: Lion, Left: Dinosaur.
Thanks, Robmc.

With 2 caughtatwork "nabs" under our belt and this one (sort of) on the way home, I was able to talk EuDes herself into a try for it before imbibing in one of the nearby food chain's fare. We collected the clues and headed off the GZ. After a brief search, the heat and the stomach growling resulted in a hint decryption and a quick find at 12:25 to complete a caughtatwork trifecta.
A stretchy leopard went in for a squeezy-head guy out.
Thanks for another informative cache caughtatwork.

Mr.Coffee and family found this cache today. had to be quick and discrete as muggle man was drunk and watching all 8 of me at once.
Thanks caughtatwork for another cache find.
Taken flashy ball thing - cant remember and did not write down what we left.

Thanks to Nomads for advising that the cache is wet.
I stopped by there this morning to check out the cache and it was indeed wet. The logbook is fine in its ziplock baggie so no need to replace this.
I have replaced the container with a waterproof one and restocked the cache. I have added in:
Finger Freak, Stretchy Frog, Goat, Rhino, Dino, Koala Keyring, Light Ball (press to make it light up), Squishy Face Man, Bracelet and a Pencil Sharpener.
Some of the more water damaged swaps have been removed.
This cache is now all well and good to go again.

Found by Ray and Maya, in company with Mikko, at 4:30PM on the 2nd of Jan. Another easy find. The cache is very wet inside. Unfortunately we did not have anything to clean it up with but we were able to leave a report in the logbook. TNLN. Thanks from The Nomads
Found at 1940. Got all the info together OK, but found our GZ in some silly spot. Couldn't spot an error in the maths, but didn't want to walk all the way back over, so did some strategic hunting, and finally found it - nice spot! Thanks caughtatwork.
Found at 1:30pm. After completing our first caughtatwork cache only last week, we're now on another c@w hunt. A nicely laid out set of clues and a fun path to the cache location.
Thanks caughtatwork from D,H,S,K,H & A B-A. Took Nothing, left Nothing.

Knew where the start was as my father used to work at the place that used to be here. Read the info and followed the gps to the middle of the interection, cant be right I thought. Standing the on footpath to figure it out ( next to the info I needed ) the gpsr figured out where I was supposed to be and I looked up to find the info Doh! More info obtained and over to the next waypoint, more info and a quick up and down to GZ. Getting dark now ( lucky I now have a torch in my pack ) muggles who wandered past at regular 2 minute intervals making it hard to retrieve the cache once I figured out where it was. Eventually retrieved the cache and did the usual swap, write stuff. Now to find time between muggles to replace the cache. Its hard to look inconspicuous by yourself in a dark park away from the path, I was afraid if I hung around too long someone would call the cops. Quick lull in the traffic and the cache was returned. Thanks caughtatwork for the history lesson and a look at the nice little area dedicated to the person after whom this cache is named.

My 500th cache - woo hoo!!!!! (Photos courtesy of Emu-M to follow).
Out for a caching expedition today with DAKs Emu Mob (DAK and Emu-M) and Kiwideb, we arrived at the first location and gathered the necessary answers. At location two we were unable to find the answers - unfortunately one of the glass information boards had been shattered and was unreadable. We thought that we would need divine guidance (via the Maccamob hint line), but luckily Emu-M discovered the real location 2 and everything was back on track.
At location 3 we found what we needed, did the calculations and loaded the co-ordinates into out GPS's. Up to this stage it was a combined effort of gathering, calculating and cross-checking. From now on, it was each man (or woman) for himself. Within a minute of reaching GZ, we heard those dreaded words from Kiwideb - "found it". After retrieving the cache, it was discovered to be an icecream container half full with mouldy icecream. Ah, relief.
A few minutes later, I was fortunate to discover the real cache - a very fitting ending for my 500th. After posing for a few photos, I took a dinosaur and left a padlock. Then back to the car for a celebratory drink of non-alcoholic cider and some more photos. Thanks again, caughtatwork.

Collected all the clues then headed for the cache.
After about 10 minutes I yelled those wonderful words, 'found it'. But alas it was a buried icecream container with mouldy icecream . Back to the search and Muzza came up trumps. Good for him it was his 500th cache Yeeeee Haaaaaaaaa. Cache found at 1615, I swapped a dinosar for a racing car. We took many photo's of the ocassion. Oh to reach 500 caches.
Thanks so much caughtatwork.

Our first (and only) multi for the day. We grabbed the information from the gates and proceeded to where we thought we'd find the next bits (we didn't do anything foolish like allowing our GPSr to guide us). At the second 'waypoint' we couldn't find the required information, but we did find a very shattered sign! [B)] We despaired! This was to be muzza's 500th cache. What now? Ring the maccamob help line? Then Emu-M asked: "What about that sign over there?" We were on our way shortly after. At GZ, we couldn't agree on a common place to look. Then kiwideb called "Found it!", and fished an ice cream container out from the bushes. It contained . . . ice cream! And it wasn't fresh ice cream either! [xx(]
Of course all this was a diversion from the real excitement of the moment: muzza's 500th cache find. We all stood back and let him find it. There were congratulations and celebrations all round when he did, and we drank a toast with non-alcaholic cider in proper plastic cups, with stems and everything! [:o)] The momentous event occurred at 1620

Nice touch of history with this cache. Loved the gates (see Gallery). Took a little while for the final find, and had to wait for passing muggles before replacing the cache. Thanks caughtatwork.
Took frog. Left Zyprexa pen.

Found by Mary & David at 1020. We loved this one - the most interesting of caughtatwork's caches we have done so far. We go to the cinema nearby from time to time, and Mary has attended a seminar at the Palliative Care Centre. Fascinated by the local history and those gates. Just imagine them on your big country estate. Had to wait for a few minutes for walkers to pass before we could retrieve the cache. Took whistle/compass, left Australian key ring. A beauty, thanks, caughtatwork!
