Since the owner of the cache hasn't contacted me, I'm reluctantly archiving this cache. If the owner wants to reinstate this cache, they should contact the reviewer that first published the cache.
Actually we did not even try to find this cache as the sign was obscured by builders rubble, high fences and a full dump bin in front of the building. about the only way in was to go on private property so we gave it up for another day. Perhaps the cache should be archived until the renovations are completed.
It would appear that this cache needs to be disabled for several months due to building works. Our impression is that the cache will be fully operational once the plaque is again visible at the first location. We will re enable the cache then.

Found @ 10:20. Struggled to see the plaque but managed to eventually get the date off it. Did the calcs and it seemed OK so headed off. Saw the previous logs say it was a clever hide so stopped @ GZ for a while to ponder where it might be. Found after a few minutes. Thanks.
Unfortunately I didn't find the plaque as it appears there is some building or renovating taking place. Fortunately I was able to get some assistance on the date and was able to calculate the maths. I really enjoyed the hide and appreciate the effort you went to!
Thanks,

Clever little hide after a pleasant stroll in the autumn leaves.
Cache very damp - so dried out as best we could.

Today I had Oenze with me and he said I bet you dont find this one and bingo there it was in the first place I tried. I love it when this happens (rarely). Thanks chookies. The cache log book was quite damp and a little mouldy.
Found by Pickupfamily Dad at 1315hrs, my first of a number of caches for the day. Took a while, but kept checking the co-ords and finally led the right way and got a brainwave that turned out to be a good one! An excellent hide, thanks Chookies.
Note there is construction of new apartments going on at WPT1 but the plaque is still visible around the hoardings.

Finally found it! Very sneaky hide indeed. I am most definitely looking forward to doing the nearby MMM cache, I think it comes past here? TNLNSL...log is getting a bit moist. Thanks Chookies!
After an attempt 6 weeks ago and no cigar found that day,had another attempt 1 week ago and still zip !With a final hint ,hit the hidden gem that i thought for sure had vanished.Heaven knows how many tried and havent found .A great multi, tranquil riverside location, very clever cache hide and well recommended. Was mainly stumped because cache size said "regular" but was far from it,probaly could have got 6 in a lunchbox, but its the hide technique that will fool many too follow .Good luck.TNLN and many thanks to Chookies.
My GPS put me somewhere plausible. But after thrashing around for a good 10 minutes and upsetting the local muggle-mutt who just would not stop barking, we gave up.
Was actually doing 27 stories and had another look at this one. This time I found it in about 20 seconds having found a very similar find rather recently after a hint on that one. Experience helps! It was at the very edge of my previous gz tho. Took ball Left sheep. TFTC Chookies It is good to find them.
GZ appears to be correct and I had to give up at dark after waiting for any number of muggles! Might try again another time.

Cache was found on my second visit to this GZ today having aborted the first attempt as some builders were lunching across the river. Happy to find cache intact and in good condition after the DNF log.
The waypoint 1 building is still fenced but looks like renovations rather than demolition!

I have tried twice now, rechecking my calculations. This assumes I found the corrrect building, because the GPS was off a bit. However, other logs referring to the fencing suggest I was in the right place. So both SE and SW yielded nothing, unless there is a lot of bushwhacking to do? And that's difficult with all the traffic.
This was a nice quick multi, just what I needed after doing a couple of rather long ones. I wonder how long this building will last; I noted the fencing around it is usually the type they put around demolition sites. The cache was a nice quick find. Thanks Chookies I loved the old building and this rather unusual canal that appeared to have quite a few fish in it.
Found today in company with Oenze.
I tried for this one way back about 6 months ago and haven't had a chance for another go untill today. Took it from square one as by now I'd lost my notes on where GZ was and it seems I'd misscalculated last time because I wasn't even close to my original search area. Spent some time marvelling at the huge numbers of fish in the river and found the cache after a reasonably long search. I agree with some of the other logs that it's a tricky hide.
Left a dinosaur and took a necklace to go with the ring I'd picked up earlier in another cache. Funny but my wife is not happy at all with the gift I just gave her???!!!
Thanks anyway for a pleasant cache.

Finally, after much searching! There is something ethno-gender challenging about this cache! I was so annoyed I took the pretty stickers and left a whoopee cushion...
After a failed attempt in October last year we came past again and we are happy to announce the hiding spot didn't elude us again!

Sneaky hide. I enjoyed the view from the bridge for a while as Muggles were building a house just opposite. Talk about cramping the searching style! Not a lot of dog walking muggles, just a steady stream.
Took: Frog, Left: Carrot

While visiting my Mum on Mother's day we took her for a walk to this one (she lives 100m away) on a beautiful Autumn afternoon. I spent a lot of time as a kid playing in, on and around this "river" - I don't get down this way as much as perhaps I should these days, so it was a pleasure to revisit some of the haunts of my youth.
Took: Frog
Left: Diecast orc figurine
Thanks Chookies
PS The lovely little building, which has some history with my family, has recently been sold
PPS During my 30 years spent living 2 doors from the "river" I only remember it overflowing its banks on 2 occasions

Found at 4:15pm This was our first "multi" cache and i think im hooked it was a great stroll along the riverside, it took a bit of back and forth but eventually we found it "thanks to JB's patience" .... it is certainly a great little hiding spot. TNLN
Thanks Chookies
Thanks Chookies
Yes Mr and Mrs Chef once lived here too, before baby chefs. But we lived a bit further down the river, dont let this rivers size fool you, when it floods it floods bad, we had a car that was flooded up to the seats by it and you can never get the smell out. Found this one, we too were initally fooled by the tree missing but read the previous logs and had cache in hand soon after. Great hiding spot Chookies TNLN.
Thanks Chookies.
Thanks Chookies.
[xx(] With the tree out of the way
And the cache not in the other places I looked again
[:o)] I was feeling very silly, or that
it had vanished.
[8] So after checking with Chookies
[?] that it had not vanished with the tree
[^] the cache was quickly in hand tonight
from it's far too cunning location.
[8)] Third eye-opening cache-of-stealth this week!
Thanks Chookies!!!

Timberrrrrrrrrrrrr...
Went to the final location today to find that a tree had fallen across what I think is the final location after last week's record storm.
Will need to go back in a few more days and check the tree has been cleared before taking a look for the cache. I just hope the cache doesn't vanish in the cleanup!

Tree has been taken away - still can't find the cache

Nice walk along riverside. Cache was easily found. Maybe because this hiding technique is quite common where I come from
Found on 06/12/04 @ 1624 AEDT. Found the clues easily at the first location and mad my way to GZ. It was a bit stinky down by the riverside this afternoon [xx(], but despite the smell I found the cache quickly at GZ - waiting only for a velocipedic muggle to pass by before I grabbed it . Great hiding place [^]!

Found it just as we were about to give up. Great spot! We rode our bike to this one, good headwind on the way back. Took tatoo and left Nickoleneon snap bag. Thanx Chookies.
Either it isn't there or we weren't looking in the right spots...
We will definately keep our eyes on this one and return again another day....

It took us 2 visits to find this one. Greg tried on his own last month but failed miserably. This time, with Bev's supervision, the cache was soon located. Thanks for a challenging cache. TNLN. Greg and Bev
Barcoder and I found the 1st waypoint quickly. We then went on to the cache. After a 5 min search I came up trumps. Cache was found out midday, great hiding spot it was the 2nd place I looked.
Swapped a frog for a duck.
Thanks for the great cache Chookies. My 7th of 14 caches for the day.
I ended up swapping a frog for a fish as Barcoder wanted the duck.

Nice one Chookies. dak and I were faced with something similar a while back. Some river!
Kiwideb was still in Showdown in Town mode as she 'trumped' with me the find. She very graciously let me have the little wood duck though.[^] Well, the kicking and screaming did help to convince her a bit. We are looking forward to her 400th find today. Sat in the sun as we attended to the cache.
IN: Gold bead necklace
OUT: Little wood duck

Found at 3.40pm after spending 25 minutes looking around and enjoying the area, while muggles passed by. Thanks chookies for a good hide. tn/ln
We have visited the cache & made some changes/alterations to its location. Could all visitors please try not to give away its current location through suggestive logs!
All is well, & waiting to be found again. New log book now in place.
Once again we hope you enjoy our second cache -Chookies

Having decoded the clues and arrived at the cache location, I decided to take "dak's Emu Mob"s advice and thought laterally. It only took 5 minutes to go straight to the spot. Great hiding place!
Took: Red LED flashy thingo
Put: Mondo Zulu Warrior
I also released "Snufkin" the travel bug so he can continue his travels.

On the day that we placed this cache, it was sunny with no wind, and was school holidays. A popular & perfect time for peolple strolling, walking the dogs, going for a bike ride, or just out for the day. Yes we did see many passers by; however the passers-by are not set on a timer, and with a little patience we have Always found there to be plenty of breaks in traffic, sufficient to comfortably search the surrounds(We have never had to wait more than about 5-6 minutes). I apologize if anyone has had too much difficulty; I have not even dared to attempt the cache in Federation square.
Good luck & best wishes

This cache should be attempted only on wet and rainy days, even on a cool day like today there were quite a lot of people moving around. Despite the delays waiting for the passers by we found this one after a short search in the wrong area. Clever use of cache container.
Took Dice
Left Frog
Also released TB Glug Glug to help him on his travels. (Glug Glug did not go Glug Glug)

Found at 10:30pm. K had her year 12 formal in the city at the aquarium and rather than wait at home all night, then drive in, D & H thought we would divert off for a cache.
As per all the other logs we checked the obvious spots quite a few times over before a stroke of inspiration led us to the find. Very sneaky spot and cache container.
Thanks Chookies from D & H B-A.
Took Muzza Puzzle. Left TB Glug Glug. (Don't drop him in the river or Glug Glug go Glug Glug)

From now on I will use my calculator.
Not only did I mess up the maths on the first co-ordinate, this carries through to the second co-ordinate.
After about 20 minutes searching the wrong place (not far away, but just wrong enough to be annoying) I checked the maths.
With corrected co-ordinates in hand I approached GZ and thought, hmmm. Yes!
Very cunning.
I took a keyring and left a stretchy lizard.
Thanks for a very interesting hiding place.

Emu-M and dak found this after about 15 minutes of searching. We did what everyone else has done: looked in the obvious places. Then we started to think laterally. We located it at 1530, but couldn't retrieve it for 10 minutes--we had to wait until a mother and her three children tired of 'feeding the duckies'.
It is indeed a clever hiding spot; and the container would do maccamob proud. It's a wonder maccamob didn't cotton on to the location sooner than they did--they'll know what I mean. Thanks for the challenge. GeoJo is also correct in that retrieving the log is an additional challenge. Speaking of challenges, while dak was filling in the log, Emu-M cracked muzza's wire puzzle, and worked out how to put it back together.
IN: Electronic do-hickey
OUT: Stretchy gecko (chameleon?)

I went out the first night this appeared, but failed to find it. Went out today to look again but there was a kid on his bike, riding round and round on the road nearby. After a short walk I returned and, in between joggers and dog walkers, I found it at around 11:00 am.
I took a hobby knife and left a wire puzzle. Thanks, Chookies, for a great cache, right on my doorstep.

Found with maccamob on a day off from work. Found the first clue without any problems, then took the short drive to GZ. Searched in all the usual places without success on both sides - was about to return to the car to check our maths when maccadad realised its location. Very clever - and a most unusual container! Retrieving the container was relatively easy, it was getting the log sheet out that proved most difficult! Took silver texta and left a keyring. Actually, putting the container back in the hiding spot wasn't easy either!
Found by Mary & David at 1415. Loved the family introduction in the cache description. A brief stop at the "lovely little building" then off to GZ. A few passing showers cleared at just the right moment. A quick search of a few obvious spots turned up nothing, and we were just on the point of returning to the car to double check the maths when we found the cache. Great spot and interesting container. Took a while to extract the log, so we re-packed things in a different order when we finished. Took penny, left pink bag. Our thanks to Chookies.
I logged on, I saw, I drove, I conquered, another first.
Mr.Coffee and family went out night caching Evil_Hitman style (no motorbike though). Thanks Chookies for a cache that takes me back to old territory as a kid. GZ originally had EPE 45 metres so I backtracked and waited for GPS to settle, after 10mins searching we found cache.
Thanks again Chookies
Taken mini torch, left 1955 penny, free coffee card and glitter glue pen.
