Went this morning and couldn't find it.Nice walk any way and got to show kids fresh water crays in nearby pool.
We searched for ages but had no joy in finding this cache. All we found was an old D cell battery.
Went in the morning. Nice spot with lots of visitors about. Searched for ages but could not find cache.
Magic place. Have been looking forward to visiting this place and I was not dissapointed. Apart from not finding the cache that is. I checked the clue and looked in the said place but with no luck. I could not have reached any further without transforming into Elastaman.
A nice find on the way to doing the Riwaka cave, cache took 10 minutes, cave took 5 hours . Happy to help jf2004 find it after her previous unsuccessful attempts. Nice to be able to combine hobbies like this, it's why I love caching! TNLN
Finally I find it - I searched for a long time twice earlier this year with no luck! Captain S's comments inspired me to try harder! TNLN Jane
This time I was bloody well gonna find it!
Fortunatly I did!, I guess my arachnaphobia prevented me sticking my hand in far enough the first time!
As it was there was an opossum in there this time that I had to badger out with a stick fisrt! turned out to be a youngster and wasn't very happy about being woken up... he hisses at me horribly! Fortunatly the dog wasn't with me!
Cheers

needed the clue to find as GPS coverage was hopeless. found easily after that. mrs Q moto wouldn't retrieve it as she doesn't like dark places so i needed to get the cache.
Have wanted to go up there for ages. Such a beautiful valley. Great little walk and found the cache easily. Clue 2 may need revising, however, as it was on ground.[^]
Took out horse and car and replaced them with party noise maker and dinosaur.

Had enough satelite to find the sign(s)
Used the clues and spent an hour looking but just could not find the cache, though there was plenty of sign of other having been looking too.
Will need help on this one please.
We easily found this cache by using the clue. It was pouring with rain and the satellite accuracy was virtually nil. There was also a classic car club picnic on, so many muggles were in the vicinity - so many challenges.
We traded a dog for a horse.
Maple Hill.

After a weekend diving in the sound's i decided to check my next dive sight out .thx m/d
16.00: Very beautiful location, but we couldn't find anything. And this time we HAD a fully printed description . We decrypted the additional hint, but this didn't make it easier to solve this case. Behind which sign we should have searched? And: what direction is "behind"? We found many traces of earlier visitors. Can somebody provide us the solution, we were really sad of not finding it?

No joy unfortunately. Aging GPS equipment was further hampered by tree cover, and close proximity to hills. The decrypts should have pointed us to a fairly specific area, but four of us couldn't locate it We did find one specific place that seemed to tie in perfectly with the decrypts, so we were wondering if the cache might have 'been got'. Interested to see if the next lot find it !
A lovely spot - very scenic and worth a trip.

I had never been here so it was a good cache to do, we had a picnic lunch in the grassy reserve at the road end. There were lots of people in the area. Found cache using clue although the coords were pretty good. Took lizard, left lion.
Its amazing how many people were filling up their water bottles at the resurgence.

Its lovely here. Quite a few years ago I swam in the source right here - and it was bloody cold! Today I had been visiting family that had recently arrived at Kaiteri, and decided to pop in before returning to Ruby Bay. GPS had a bit of trouble under the canopy so opted for a little guidance from the hint. First option didn't get me anywhere but soon saw the obvious candidate and quickly found the cache. No exchange. Cheers Gav [309]
We have slways wanted to visit this valley after viewing it from the top so thanks for the incentive. this is a great place for a cache.
+ toy car - cap whistle

Spent a good hour or so looking (although that was rather broken up by all the passers by)
No find! Coverage was poor, but walked out to the clearing and took bearings and paced out etc etc. Am sure we found the right spot, but could not find the cache.... Will have to try another time.
Not looking good for our target of 30 in 48 hours...
7 sought, 6 found, 23 to go, but are already nearing the end of our 48 hours... Ar well something to do another weekend.

Another spot I wanted to visit.
Lovely bush walk and interesting cave.
Needed the clue due to signal getting weak.
No trade although brought the travel bug "I'd rather be flying" for a visit.

Excellent cache site. Very cold clear day. Entire area was covered with a heavy frost and ice. Beautiful! Hills and trees caused no problem. GPS took us to cache. Thanks Moneydork
