Accio 15:34:24Down to Melbourne to escort my mum to hospital - giving me significant free time for a couple of days. What to do? LGA hunting my primary goal, and after a quick count had no issues at GZ - walking away for signing duties. Thanks The Coffee's for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12899}*
Tftc The Coffee's. I see thus has now passed it's 20 year anniversary - well done!!A tricky and triple check of the reed count but once nailed, waypoint installed and a quick find and sign on a brilliant Spring afternoon. Travelled up from Moe to see Guy Montgomery show tonight.
A quick find but the bag was full of water so we dried it out and replaced the log. Tftc
Out caching with Lumpyjrb, this was a much shorter multi than the last one we just finished. Log was very wet so left a new log sheet. Thanks for the cache.
I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=6a725450-9b6f-4892-abca-126a7026759c&ds=2) [WCW - 95% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z59M)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59M), and with limited time after work I decided to try and narrow my search to lower D/T rated multi caches. So after work I opened up [Cachly](https://www.cachly.com/) to see what unfound multi caches I could find when I spotted this one. Well with having found [Pinkpiggy7's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=9c89556e-f310-4e9c-a105-40361e700daa&ds=2) nearby multi cache, [Remembering Ash Wednesday - Narre Warren (GC5HRA7)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC5HRA7_remembering-ash-wednesday-narre-warren), just yesterday I figured it would be easy enough to come over and try to find this one.So after work I hopped in the geomobile and made my way over to the posted coordinates. I was able to find a spot to park the geomobile near the posted coordinates, however, with the amount of muggles around I thought I was going to struggle to find this one. Luckily the information was quickly gathered at the posted coordinates and after counting the reeds twice just to make sure I then quickly calculated the coordinates for GZ and was off. Once I arrived at GZ I quickly spotted the cache and then just had to wait for the coast to be clear in order to retrieve it. I then was able to sneak back to the geomobile to sign the log before eventually waiting around again to be able return the cache back to its hiding spot without drawing any attention to myself. A big thanks goes to [The Coffee's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=6ff13eef-841e-4445-8d2d-5906d4ae534b&wid=4e7162c1-b652-4704-b023-5cf0fca4b7e5&ds=2) for keeping this cache alive for all these years. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container looked great and blended in quite nicely, however, the logbook does appear to have taken some historical water damage as some of the ink on the page looks like it bleed a little. However, the logbook was dry today and very easily signed. The cache also has plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Loved the placement and the area. I did all the counting and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache!
Another multi brought me here after an adventure and this one helpfully didn't require any driving to get to the final location! TFTC
A nice straight forward one today whilst we did some shopping nearby. The second of this type we've found in 2 days! Log even though in, plastic protection , is soggy, but could still sign it.
Started the day with a DNF so I moved onto this one. Quickly gathered the information and headed over to GZ. Took a minute of searching, a bit longer than it should’ve, but made the find with little difficulty.
Log was very wet so it was difficult to sign, probably needs to be dried out.
Happy to report that the cache is in otherwise good condition.

Went to Bunjil library to do some work this afternoon, had some free time afterwards to sign this one off. TFTC!
That was hard! For once this quiet area was flooded by a crowd of spectators from Bunjil Place!
while wandering through the area on our way to somewhere else for a photo session we grabbed this cache
A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered and with good friend,
Thanks for placing them

A very unusual D/T 1/1 multi so we had to go for it.
Found with CeeJayDenno and Presto on a quick visit to a Christmas event.
Found without any problem (except looking at the wrong elevation). Hint was on point.
We signed and continued on our way.

Not seen on the first sweep, but spread the search and eventually returned to our original prediction.
Sure enough, spotted and logged.
Found with GurTheWanderer and PrezDough.
A great multi to soon have been found on our day of caching out this way.

After completing the first stage of another multi-nearby (I'll probably never compete), it is good to see one more to my liking. After counting things twice and heading to GZ, it took me a moment to spot the bold placement.
Thanks for placing this here; it was heaps of fun to find. A few people were hanging about in their cars, but I rested on the grassy knoll and completed the deed. A quick replacement, and all was good! Thanks again for the interesting cache!

Love these old caches so this was a must. Not sure why I haven't noticed it before. Thank you for all that has gone into keeping it going for so long.
This was a must for GT37 as it was placed so long ago. Arrived in a light rain and made the quick find. Thanks for placing the cache and maintaining it for so long.
Yay for another arty multi! In marvellous Melbs for a few days and saw the fabulous 2022 Archibald and now on my way to a series of multis so of course had to stop by. TFTC and the fun
A quick and simple cache. We love multis that don't take too long and are pretty easy to figure out. Perfect! Thanks The Coffee's.
I have worked here many a time and not even thought to look if caches are nearby - guess I am always in a rush to arrive to work not too late!
Thankfully RoamingHowie told me about this one.
Bunjil Place is incredible with some excellent acts. I missed out on the Archibald prize tickets but was able to nab this cache instead. Thanks for the hide.

What a miserable day to be outside… bring on spring! I was early to meet a friend so set about finding this cache.
With the counting complete I strolled on down to the cache and was soon signing the log.
Thanks The Coffee's for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Loved this old school multi. Counted the reeds yesterday and collected the cache today. Also one of my favourite kind of hides. Glad to see it's been going for so long.
Nice quick find today!
I originally thought my counting or maths was off at first.... Counted again, came up with the same answer.
Read a previous log which told me I was on the right track, and then a super quick find at GZ.

With other members of the household keen on visiting Fountain Gate this morning, I figured it was an opportune time to have a go at the caches in its vicinity!
The short GC code on this one piqued my interest in particular, so I stopped by WP1 to see where it would take me.
Reeds were all accounted for and they were subbed into the partial coordinates which took me somewhere that didn't really look all that likely to have anywhere to hide a cache.
Oh, that'd be because there's maths involved, me!
The second number I'd skipped over earlier was, this time, applied and a shorter walk greeted me subsequently.
I had a suspect in mind as to what the cache in question would be, and it was confirmed from some distance away.
Plenty of people about today, but they were all off doing their own things elsewhere so I was able to sign the log and replace everything safely without drawing their attention.
Thanks to The Coffee's for placing and continually maintaining this cache!

Brilliant. Had to widen search field but then spotted it. Annoyingly car parked up with owner for awhile but the birds were a distraction for me til I could return it. Thanks
Lots of cockatoos, ravens and other birds around this morning, not so many muggles though.
We dropped the GeoPrado off nearby to have it serviced before heading up to Wangaratta for the MEGA.
Having solved this one many years ago I felt this was too good an opportunity to finally sign the log.
A few workers in Bunjil Place packing up the equipment from recent events but no one at all near GZ.
Thanks for the cache Michael and wish your dad a Happy New Year from both of us.

After picking up some essential items nearby I thought I'd pick up a cache too and use my allowed exercise time.
I counted and recounted those reeds and was sure I had the right number. Off I went and found myself in a field... Hmm, this doesn't seem right!
Back up to the reeds I went, because sometimes maths is hard. Nope, I've definitely got the number right. Let's check the instructions again. Ohhhh, I just need to do more maths!
This time the navigation lead me to the middle of a road. Knowing that it can be out a few metres I checked the hint and found it straight away. Thankfully I've found one like this before, the first I found of it's kind was tricky.

We had a morning of high Terrain caches so it was nice to do some normal caching with a simple multi, we parked up not far from both the start and the final, very civilised I must say
Well this Easter I wasn't planning on caching in Victoria at all, in fact myself and Goose of Gooseandegg were meant to be at the Mega in Dayboro Queensland but with the COVID outbreak and Dayboro being in a hot zone we would have had to go into 14 days of quarantine upon our return to Tasmania.
As it turned out this was lifted before we returned but it was too big a risk to take as neither of us wanted to be away from our families for that long or put them at risk.
So we spent almost a week finding rare D/Ts we needed, wonderful old caches and a few types that are in short supply in Tassie, thanks to all the COs for the hard work put into placing these caches.
Thanks for the cache.

After a morning of tree climbs with 1 toolman, stainless steel rat and I continued our hunt for old caches. This was the first one we came across and soon counted up the reeds. We moved the car closer to our calculated GZ and spotted the hide cache quickly, having approached from the right angle.
Thanks The Coffee's
I was all set to go to the Dayboro Mega when a COVID outbreak stopped us dead in our tracks. The Tasmanian Govt was slow to react and open up borders again and, not wanting to risk 14 days quarantine, the trip was cancelled and a hasty little adventure was created to Melbourne and surrounds.

Stopped by for a maintenance check and all in good order for the next finder, Happy Caching.
Luckily I had Steve with me as we both came up with different figures. After a recount, turned out it was my figure that was incorrect (I hate that) then a short distance away we spotted the cache from the car.

Out and about with echidna44 clearing out some in the south. What a wonderful recreation area. Glad it was an off day as I can image it could get very crowded here. Made the count and did the walk. I do like these hides. Right in your face and hiding so well. Thnaks for the cache The Coffee's
Met up with our daughter at FG today, gee it was quiet - finding a good park was such a breeze! Decided to add another cache find to our tally while we were here, and this one looked interesting. With new co-ords in hand we set off to make the find, spotted a likely candidate straight away but mr2max doubted it because it looked *too* much like it belonged. Gave it a try anyway and lo and behold, there it was. SL TFTC
The plan had been to jump on my bike and grab a few caches around the Narre Warren area however the extremely windy weather scuppered those plans. Instead I thought that I would just drive and walk around the area.
This is another multi where I didn't read the description closely enough. After gathering the required information I forgot to do the additional step so ended up on a patch of grass. Once I sorted my issue out I soon spotted the cache. TFTC.

Very obvious yet not obvious enough Cleary haha. Parked right next to it to complete a few local multis. One not so local after all...
I don't mind a good counting multi with simple instructions. Cache was quickly found. Hardest part was the timing between muggles. Eventually got an opportunity to score the prize. Cache looks to be all in good order. Thanks coffees
Tonight was my only chance to go out caching in quite some time - so even though it was freezing cold, windy and wet, I headed out into the darkness. I did a quick count of the reeds in the pouring rain and then a double check - lucky I did because I mis-counted! (Easy to do). I ran down to GZ and made the easy find and raced back to my car soaking wet! TFTC!
Some time ago I visited this cache and collected the information but it appeared as though the building it was attached to was missing.
It was offline for a while and I forgot about it until I noticed a few multi icons on my map and wondered what they were for. One was this cache and so I headed down. Again to try. A quick calculation and I had the coords but gz seemed to not have any possible locations. Quick check of the maths was all good and so back to check and there it was. HIPS. Nice hide and glad to have a smilie on this one now

We decided to pick up the end point to an outstanding multi we started about 3 weeks ago when we started it.
So this was the perfect opportunity to do some more.

Wow after an epic journey of the cache disappearing from a pole because they removed the pole to the container going from a building because the whole building was demolished i cab safely say "The cache is Back Online". Our thanks to the City of Casey for keeping me informed of the works and all good to go.

Just re-working the puzzle, cache placed and ready to go, will be online soon.
I was able to contact the works department who have suggested the area of the cache will be under construction for the next few months, I am hoping that by early April the cache will be back online, with the help of the works dept who like geocaching they will keep me posted and if there is an opportunity to enable it early they will let me know,

My Apologies it will be another week before i can have it online, the puzzle part is being maintained and will be a week.
I visited the site and the council have suggested a choice of spots, these require a new cache container so I should have this online sooner than later.
Just spied out a few new locations so if all good it will be up and running soon.
Unfortunately the cache is gone along with the building, pole and the whole council office. I will look at finding a new place after hospital this week.
Out doing some shopping with Tally Tiger on preparation for our departure to the GeoMuster and we needed our cache of the day (and points for the planetary event) so here we were, having solved to coords and faced with a predicament, but Tally Tigers ever handy walking stick once again became a favourite geotool!

What a stayer - in it's 14th year on the geo gameboard!
We had a little disagreement with the GPS'r as to where we should be looking for the cache. Thankfully it was not beside the dead parrot. It was absolutely fascinating to read back thru' the early logs, a snapshot of Victorian caching history.
We did note the ambiguty of the TR - not really wheel chair accessable!
Satellites today had our calculated GZ 9m west of where we found the cache
Thanks The Coffee's for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch and WeRAmused. WeRAmused had had trouble finding this previously so asked us to come look with her. We rechecked the information at WP1 and made our way to GZ. I was glad that I had looked at the location on Google Maps as it showed me where the hide was, the GPS wanted us to go into the building. TFTC
Found with SciFiRulz and PapaGrouch. PapaGrouch sneakily grabbed it while SciFi and I were looking in other places. He was rattling it at us until we noticed he had found it. TFTC
We were impressed with the way this whole region has developed. The information was gained easily enough. Now to head towards GZ. As this was near Christmas time, the area had muggle traffic. We quickly SL, and replaced cache as sneakily as we could. TFTC Michael and the Coffees.

As I had to go to the physio nearby, I thought I would take the opportunity to grab a quick multi afterwards. Very good multi Michael, thank you. I made a quick find at ground zero, with muggles posing more issues than the find. Eventually the coast was clear, so I was able to make the grab & sign the log. TFTC The Coffee's
Collecting caches around FG shopping centre today and this was one of many. Easy solve and relatively quick grab while checking no one was watching. Tftc
Quick find on a morning walk as we are staying nearby. Thanks for another interesting cache The Coffee's.
I was in the area this morning and saw this simple multi was close by. Wandered over to the posted coordinates with the partner who works a stones throw from it. We solved the final coordinates and made a quick find at GZ. The partner was impressed with the hide and I was amazed how this has lasted the test of time. TFTC!
Great seeing a multi-cache that has been well thought out and seems to be beating the test of time, especially in such as well muggle populated area.
Thanks for the cache The Coffee's and Michael.

Seem to be spending quite a lot of time dropping off and picking up my teens from FG these holidays. Came in a bit earlier today to do this little multicache which I noticed had been reactived during my recent incapacitation. Those reeds can be a bit tricky to count. Kept getting different numbers but had a nice easy recovery of the cache itself. SL. Area not very busy at time of my visit but the muggle factor at the actual cache site would be very high at times. Happy to see all my smiley cache faces filled in for FG now. Ended up with happy smiley faces on all my boys too. The two eldest after spending my money and an afternoon with friends and my 12yo because during my quick multicache adventure I also managed to spin for loot 7 times from 5 different poke stops and hatch a rare Pickichu from one of his eggs for him. Wonder if Michael still gets joy out of geocaching now he must be in his twenties? I hope so. TFTC to 10 yo Michael and The Coffees.
Enlisted my geodaughters help with this one after a successful shopping trip at the nearby Westfield. What a clever idea for a cache I have never seen one like this before. My daughter thought it was cool and if I'd bought my muggle husband along he would have been equally as pleased as he shares the same name with the cache. TFTC
We had just dropped off the muggle daughter and Stormgirl13 and I had to go to a school meeting but I thought we had time for a quick cache before we left. Luckily we were able to park close by and soon had the coordinates. A short, brisk walk had us at GZ and the log was signed quick smart and we were on our way with plenty of time to spare. Thanks for making the trip to FG a lot more fun than it usually is!
Writing the co-ords on a piece of paper and what is entered into the GPSr at times can be quiet different
Done the count and was convinced of the numbers. Apparently GZ thought differently!
Back for another count, then a re-count, and a re-re-count to triple check. Yep all in order........until I check the entered co-ords. Hmmmm no wonder I was 100metres out
Finally at GZ, and the simplest of finds. Retreated to a nearby bench to sign the log and hopefully returned it as found without being spotted
Great to see this one has stood the test of time. Many thanx to The Coffee's (and in particular Michael)

There's nothing like a souvenir up for grabs to get you out of a geocaching hiatus. Life is sooooo busy at the moment and with the oldest son needing emergency surgery last week, the week ends look even more unlikely for geocaching. So I woke up early this morning, with the youngest boy and I said, I need a multi for today. The first one I went to, even in the early hours of the morning there were cars parked around the area I needed to search .... hmmmmmm where to now? Then I remembered this one was activated again and with it being near Pokestops for my youngest, it was a win, win for us. I love coming out this early, the parking is easy and the task was also really easy too. My youngest boy is enthusiastic about, just about EVERYTHING. So counting the reeds was great. The find was an easier one for us both, exactly what I needed today. I'm so pleased that you are maintaining this spot & cache for such an older multi. It will be interesting when the new complex is up and running, the numerous areas you will be able to take people and the hiding places.
This was a fun little find! The container really blends in! A waiting bus full of people watched me count reeds which I got a chuckle out of . Tftc!
Easy find, as there was nowhere else likely at GZ. I suppose Michael is a good deal older now. Still a good hide.
My apologies to anyone finding this cache, I have fixed a error and this should make it easier to find.

Thanks Bujil, checking cache container to ensure all is OK to put back online.
