Found it , nice little park. Quickly worked out GZ. Once I found the best way in the log was found and signed. It was a little wet, but i was still able to put our name on it. Tftc

Nice find after a bit of a search. Logbook is damp but still signable. TFTC

I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=6a725450-9b6f-4892-abca-126a7026759c&ds=2) [WCW - 95% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z59M)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59M) and so after work I was having a look around on [Cachyl](https://www.cachly.com/) to see what multi caches I still hadn't found nearby, when I spotted this one. I had attempted to find this one a couple of months ago, but after failing to find it, I decided to put it on a Watchlist and wait to see how the next cacher went. Well after seeing [Tiz13's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=a8b4d50d-64a4-4b94-841d-8d4b781621a7) [Found it Log](https://www.geocaching.com/live/log/GL1C98W5V) today it gave me confidence to have another crack.Well with having done all the leg work last time, I was able to head straight to GZ and start my search. However, I did have to wait a bit for a few muggles finish up their coffee before the coast was clear and I could begin my search. Armed with a hint from [Tiz13's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=a8b4d50d-64a4-4b94-841d-8d4b781621a7) [Found it Log](https://www.geocaching.com/live/log/GL1C98W5V), I too tried to approach from a different angle then last time.Well this turned out to be the trick as the cache was found after not too long a search.A big thanks goes to [The Coffee's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=6ff13eef-841e-4445-8d2d-5906d4ae534b&wid=821951d8-417f-4db6-a28e-8cab7427caaa&ds=2) for all the fun cache. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in good shape. However, some moisture has gotten into the cache container as well as inside the plastic bag. Luckily, the logbook was waterproof paper, so I was able to dry it off and still sign.

Meeting muggle friend for lunch figured I would get in a few hours caching before hand. I stopped to grab this golden oldie I had tried to work out online..well I was close but not close enough as I started my search at a magnificent spindely tree ..20 min later after pondering past logs I reached out to a PAF who had me enter my search from a different direction, with slight adjusted CO, thankfully zoned it on the cache fairly easily from there..I do however resemble a slight drowned cat as my atire is not 100% effective in this

While grabing some item from the shops nearby why not find the cache nearby.Thank you for the cache The Coffee's

18-Nov-23
Have seen this hidden garden a few times when going to savers and the big toy store nearby, so today was a good time to also venture in and find this cache! No one around and after working out which way to retrieve cache, I signed the logbook and carefully ventured back onto the path. Log in great condition.

Found with mezza74. Never taken much notice of the gardens when we have been here before so it was great to take the time and not only grab a cache but to also grab a bargain.

A lovely spot of history, with beautiful remnant gardens. A shame to see it surrounded by so much concrete and buildings. Gz was well protected by lots of tree growth and thick leaf layer, making it a hard to spot sneaky find. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely location Mr.Coffee

13-Jun-23
Well, we needed to recheck our figures.
Having come in the near dark, we used torchlight but Mr Riddell did take a bit of a blurry photo of the information needed.
Our first effort took us into a carpark with no garden bed. So we resorted to the photo and realised that we had accidentally entered a figure for an incorrect century. So this made a significant difference. Our excuse being the dark and torch use.
We used the hint and recognised that this hint was well over 20 years old and any spindly tree was now rather mature.
We made a go for it and found the cache easily.
We don’t know how people could muck this up.
TFTC and historical facts too.

A quick calculation but took finally 90 minutes to find the cache! We were determined to find as we at eworking on our multi month and have 6 to do. We have missed a few times before, and aim to complete finally! Great park!

After a previous DNF in 2020, I was pleased to make the find and get a smile here today.
Thanks MrCoffee.

04-Mar-23
I dropped past to collect this cache on my way home. This was my second stop after failing the first time miserably. I spent 20 mins looking at the wrong tree before reading the hint properly. Today, an easier time was had, and I got the cache after the fourth inspection. I had my hand on the cache the first time but I didn't look hard enough!

Thanks for placing this one here and keeping it going for so long. It's weird how these older caches have low ratings, but I guess the trees have become mighty in the last nearly 20 years.

while wandering through the area on our way to somewhere else for a photo session we grabbed this cache
perfect timing for this one
A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered and with good friend,
Thanks for placing them

Nice easy one with Gur and PrezDough.
We quickly worked out the final coordinates but basic maths failed us and we soon realised our error and we didn’t have to venture far to find the cache.
As previously stated by cachers, the cache was saturated, however we could dry out the cache quickly, but decided to add in a new log paper and ziplock bag. Old logs are still there and still wet.
This was a nice easy multi to kick off our day.
I visited 3 TB.

Out on a caching run with gurthewanderer and CJDenno. This is one of the caches we found along the way to an event. We replaced the log and ziplock bag at this one due to some mild water damage.

I visited 4 TB

Found with CeeJayDenno and Presto on a quick visit to a Christmas even. Found without any problem (except dodgy calculations). Hint was on point.

We replaced the log with a dry log because it was sooooo wet.

Back today to avenge a dnf. With help from a previous finder, I managed to locate the cache quickly today. The logbook is saturated. As is the small logsheet in the plastic bag. Impossible to sign. Have photo if CO needs proof.

Thanks for bringing me here by placing this cache, The Coffee's

I was chasing a multi today so this was my quick 50km detour to work!

Found sign, got clues and did the maths. GZ seemed likely but was timid ti go bush.. even though it was just a few meters. Followed the path of less resistance and spotted something and then the cache. Log book is very wet and needs a bag.

Thanks to Mr.Coffee for the fun and the adventure.

30-Jun-22
Found with Surefoot24 on a brief adventure. We had both tried this one before unsuccessfully so it was nice to turn a DNF into a smile. Parked nearby and it was a quick find after using a PAF.

Thanks for the cache and the adventure. It is always nice to learn about history.

Finally found this elusive cache with KMace while TEM was undergoing what turned out to be an unsuccessful colonoscopy. We were so close, with not much time, so another attempt was a logical and hopeful. I’d resorted to advice from a friend who’d found it recently and it turned out to a face palm moment. The weeds ( mirror bush and blackberries) had grown so much since I was last here. It was a real battle through the jungle to the cache. Obviously my finding device I’d relied on previously was confused under the cover of the trees. It was the wrong direction I’d concentrated on searching previously. I had looked here before, but not well enough, I suppose. The battle is over on this one!

08-Jun-22
What a surprise to see these gardens, so happy they have been preserved. Crunched the numbers and battled the wet branches at GZ. Eventually found the cache.
Thanks for placing the multi The Coffee's.

02-Jun-22
Reading previous logs I was worried finding this cache would be a hassle. Not so! Ended up finding it straight away. I think winter is a good time to find this one as there's not much foliage in the way and no prickles either.

21-Mar-22
My first attempt at solving this multi put me nowhere near the final location. Red Face
Today that situation was rectified. However, knowing the numbers and locating the cache were worlds apart!
As many others have experienced the guardian is unfriendly to bare skin, so perhaps shorts and a polo shirt were not the best option. I reckon a boiler suit would be the best protection.
Never mind. Spray bandage travels to most caches in my bag. Surprised
I found the cache in a spot that I had glanced at from about a metre away on a few occasions but had failed to make the connection. Wink
The find was eventually made, the log was signed and the cache replaced. Smile
Thank you for the most memorable little adventure here today Mr.Coffee [^]

12-Feb-22
Heading out for a dinner engagement and realised that we needed to get a multi for today. GT37 had looked for this one on a previous occasion but with no luck. As this one was already solved, due to the previous visit, this one it was.
All I can say is that the one and only time I try to be clean and tidy, we have to look for a cache in this type of location.
We struggled with coords as we both had different locations but just as we were about to seek the assistance of a PAF, GT37 made the find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for so long.

12-Feb-22
So very pleased to have this cache under my belt. OHC and I had looked for it on a previous trip but no luck. Today, yay, we managed to find it just as our PAF was responding. Didn't help that there was a circus/fair so close to where we needed to search. There were only a couple of muggles nearby and they were definitely not interested in us. Thank you for this cache being placed here and keeping it going for so long.

03-Jan-22
Found with PapaGrouch. Finally this nemesis cache has been found. We have been here on a number of occasions but not been able to find it. Seeing that it was found recently, and as we were nearby we tried again, and after searching around the heavy growth I spotted something that had potential and there was the cache. The log was soaked as others had mentioned so I was going to replace it with a spare log I had with me, but I didn't have a bag big enough for the whole logbook so was only able to add a couple of sheets of paper in a plastic bag. Glad we don't have to come here anymore. The trees left there mark on me too, they managed to draw blood. TFTC

What better way to spend Christmas Eve than caching around Melbourne. With plenty of solved puzzles to seek out we were able to deal with the crazy traffic making the finds and adding our team name to the logbooks.
We found a car park at the back of the shopping centre where luckily it was much quieter to try our hand at this oldie. Once we had a GZ it took a awhile to locate the container through the bushes. Unfortunately the cache is full of water so after tipping it out we attempted to sign the mushy logbook.

Thanks The Coffee's for the multi placement.

They say third times a charm, but in this case it was the fifth. Steve & I had looked for this cache together on 3 occasions over the last few months, then I had a go on my own a couple of weeks ago, armed with a tiny shovel. Received many scratches, and a fright when I heard someone else in the bushes close by. Luckily I could exit quickly to the road, then waited for this guy to disappear, only to go back in again. Stupid, I know, but this cache had now become an obsession. Again, I walked away empty handed.

In the area today for some shopping, I decided to have another crack. Not dressed appropriately didn’t deter me, although I wasn’t confident. To my complete surprise, I found the cache is less than 2 minutes, in an obvious place that I’m pretty sure I had checked out previously. The container was full of water which I emptied, and the logbook saturated due to not being in a plastic bag, but still managed to scratch our name.

Oh what a feeling to finally log this cache. Thank you Mr. Coffee, it’s been quite a journey:)

We did this one in two parts as theer was a muggle family at GZ, after coming back 20 minutes later the coast was clear I had to get right in there and to be honest no one outside would have seen me now anyway.

After a short search the cache was found in the second place i looked, cache was a bit wet i'm sorry to report Sad

Well this Easter I wasn't planning on caching in Victoria at all, in fact myself and Goose of Gooseandegg were meant to be at the Mega in Dayboro Queensland but with the COVID outbreak and Dayboro being in a hot zone we would have had to go into 14 days of quarantine upon our return to Tasmania.
As it turned out this was lifted before we returned but it was too big a risk to take as neither of us wanted to be away from our families for that long or put them at risk.
So we spent almost a week finding rare D/Ts we needed, wonderful old caches and a few types that are in short supply in Tassie, thanks to all the COs for the hard work put into placing these caches.

Thanks for the cache.

Found on 05/04/2021 at 3:50:00 PM thanks to Mr.Coffee for placing this cache for me to find.

We read the plaque with great interest as we put together the final coordinates. They looked good but we had a problem. A little girl was running around the park having a lovely time whilst be encouraged by a man (her father??). There was no way to sneak into GZ, although we did have a look from the other side. We left to do Michael’s not Noahs ARC before returning to have the palace to ourselves and made the find.
Thanks for another old multi Mr Coffee.

I was all set to go to the Dayboro Mega when a COVID outbreak stopped us dead in our tracks. The Tasmanian Govt was slow to react and open up borders again and, not wanting to risk 14 days quarantine, the trip was cancelled and a hasty little adventure was created to Melbourne and surrounds.

Dropped past today on phase 1 of my cache maintenance run and cache is in great condition and ready to be found.

The easy part was working out the maths, the hard part was crawling around trying not to touch the prickly trees and bushes. We failed on all counts.

Thanks anyway Mr Coffee

02-Nov-20
After gatheriing the clues, despite a thorough search, no luck here today.

23-Jun-20
Checked on cache 3.40pm today and all is fine.

22-Jun-20
I will check on it by Saturday,

21-Jun-20
Out and about with echidna44 clearing out the south. Left the car in the shopping centre and walked here. Found the plaque and the short walk. Ventured into the garden (not happy Jan) and found underwear/ books/ bottles/football and checked out many trees. No joy here and felt sorry for the mess left behind.

20-Jun-20
Out with xambo4u, we gathered the numbers quickly, did the maths, then started our search.
We spent a long time here, all to no avail.

29-Feb-20
Sadly a DNF for us on this one today. The calculations were easy once we found the sign, more poor vegetation maintenance by the council. We tried searching from a few different angles and the previous logs didn’t help much either. There is someone sleeping rough in the immediate area around GZ so not sure if that has anything to do with our lack of success, but the vegetation is very dense as well, so perhaps we just didn’t find the right spot.

29-Feb-20
The maths was easy. The geography was hard.

22-Jan-20
The plan had been to jump on my bike and grab a few caches around the Narre Warren area however the extremely windy weather scuppered those plans. Instead I thought that I would just drive and walk around the area.

This was the first cache for the day. Getting the information was the easy part. I complicated the search by misreading the hint however eventually I was back on track. After 15 minutes I still hadn't had muck luck then I decided to take a different approach. This time it paid dividends. With cache in hand I signed the log. TNLN. TFTC.

13-Jun-19
I have been here so many times, but for only 10 mins at a time. Today I was not leaving until I found it. After 30mins I was almost in tears thinking Ill never find it. The hint did not help me at all. Sorry but all the previous logs did not help me either. Being autumn there was no trail to follow. In the end I thought I had to get down on my knees and keep on looking. Then I saw a hiding spot that looked familiar and there is was! So happy to finally get a smiley here.
Thanks kindly

02-Jun-19
Collected the info from the sign that is almost entirely concealed by the bushes now. The hint helped to narrow down the search at GZ. In good condition.

26-Apr-19
I think I may have been here before. Today the weather was a bit cold but Had a day off work so out I went. At Gz I found the sign which is now almost covered by the bush in front. The calculations were done and gave a sensible Gz. I had to wait for a muggle to disappear and then started to search. I had a look in a few places with no luck. I read the hint and some logs and then had another look. About the third time round the area I found something and got the cache. Thanks Mr Coffee

07-Feb-19
Collected the clues here no probs but had trouble at GZ and ran out of time before I had to run off. I will try again sometime soon......

29-Nov-18
I was in the area and in need of a multi for a challenge I'm slowly working towards. I wasn't quite sure as to whether this would be found given past logs however the last finder has made it substantially easier for the rest of us. The hint is still appropriate but there isn't a need to go prospecting through the leaf litter anymore.
Another of the first 500 (or pretty close thereto) found.

MontsII and myself had some lunch, and then decided to see if we could find this cache. I was ready to give up when MontsII made the find! Thanks for the cache and history lesson The Coffee's

01-Oct-18
I spent so long here I was ready to move in. But it does seem like someone else already does, bags, empty cans, wrappers, but no undies. Hoping the CO can confirm its still there.
Thanks kindly

05-Jan-18
Not Found, we looked and looked but couldn't find the cache. Did find my first pair of undies in the wild but no cache. We will have to try again another time.

19-Dec-17
We came here for some Christmas shopping and caching. Information for GZ was obtained easily enough but now for the hunt. Followed the geotrail and even found the discarded undies. Usually happy to remove rubbish but just could not bear to touch undies (eew). Anyway, after many scratches and mozzie bites, found cache. TFTC Mr Coffee.

While some of the family went shoe shopping at Fountain Gate the rest of the family went caching around the shopping centre.
Interesting multi that I was aware of some of the history but not all of it. Vegetation has almost hidden the sign.
Cache took a little while to find since we started looking from the wrong side and got interrupted by some muggles. Little too much rubbish around, including some undies.
Thanks for the cache Mr.Coffee

Collecting caches around FG today. Grabbed the info required, did sums and short stroll to GZ. After much searching finally found it. Thanks for the adventure

19-Sep-17
Easy solve on the multi but quite a hunt at gz. Followed many a geotrail and gps was everywhere but eventually found the right tree. Tftc

Found while in the area after searching a number of different trees. I have driven past this spot many times and didn't even know this garden existed.

Find #1160
I was picking the partner up from work nearby and I was a little early. Bonus... time for a cache! I wandered down to the posted coordinates and wrote down the information needed. I ended up writing one thing down and was very confused about the coordinates I got. Quickly rechecked and saw my mistake - much closer and logical. It took a bit to find at GZ but got there in the end. TFTC!

02-Jun-17
Found this one this afternoon while in the area and decided to work on a multi while we were here, actually this was the first of two we did while we were out this side of town. We soon had the required numbers found and then worked out the final gz. After a short stroll we set about searching and it was omegaman1971 that managed to locate this nice fresh container and log book. Maintained today by the CO we saw by the date. Many thanks Mr.Coffee for the nice little multi and hide and also highlighting this little park.

What an awesome little park in this concrete jungle.
Great to find a well maintained container.
Cheers for the cache

Found this bad boy with kmannz after a few beers at the fountain Gate hotel. Kman did all the work while worked as a loud lookout. TFTC

Finally found this one today. Third visit for me. My brothers last day of work so we were at the pub and decided to have a look on the way past. Looked in a few spots before finally diving right in and having a proper look and found it. We didn't have a pen but took a photo of the cache. The logbook is pretty soggy, I guess the container isn't very water tight. A good find here helped by drunken determination.

Thanks The Coffee's

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).

A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

18-Feb-17
After breakfast nearby, we wandered through the carpark to this seemingly simple multi. Arrived at posted coords, did our sins and headed to GZ. Imagine our surprise to find someone's belongings just sitting there. A noise behind us alerted us to the new residents return, and hindered our search. A DNF for us. We did wander through the surrounding gardens for a good while in the hope that this gentleman might consider moving his abode to a more secure location (hopefully not another GZ). We will have to return for this at a later date.

10-Jan-17
Collected the info yesterday but the park was full of gardening crew. Returned this morning and eventually the GPRS settled on the right tree, via elimination. Emptied water from the container and added a log sheet, travelling light so didn't have zip bag, the log was damp, I think that was a mould. Thanks for an interesting cache and location The Coffee's.

After a previous failed attempt at this, I was determined to find it today! I had been looking in the wrong trees last time, but somehow today, I practically walked straight up to it! The log is extremely wet but I signed it anyway. Thanks for the fun!

29-Jun-16
After scrabbling around several trees I gave up and moved on. I'll have to try again some time.

09-Jun-16
Wow.... Well after all the anticipation of a long hunt.... We found it about 30 seconds after we started!! Was lovely to meet up with the swaggies and Jane and have a chat!

08-Jun-16
Met up with Kelli from Lego heads to make a full on assault on this cache that has given us both grief in the past. Even though they had already found it The Swaggies tagged along for the show. After introductions and a bit of a chat with these lovely people, Lego heads and I discussed where we had both looked in the past and a decision was made where to start today's mammoth search. However Lego heads eagle eye spotted something almost immediately and as her current condition doesn't really lend itself to crawling around in gardens, I checked it out and did the retrieval. It was all over so unbelievably quickly in the end. Signed a quite soggy log and am now finally able to say to The Coffees TFTC.

15-Mar-16
cache is all good and in place. I am always happy to help anyone who is having trouble finding it, just ask.

Had a good look around but couldn't find which tree the CO was referring to in the clues. Gave up after I tripped and fell. Perhaps this one should have a higher difficulty rating.

23-Feb-16
I know I've got the coordinates right, but can't find any of the identifying landmarks mentioned in other logs. Attempted this one after lunch with a friend, will have to try again another time!

I searched high and low in this gorgeous little spot, but still came up empty-handed

Will check on this one in a couple of days

25-Dec-15
My third attempt at finding this cache. Worked out the co-ordinates a couple of months ago but no cache found. On Christmas night evening I felt more confident at being able to have a thorough search. At least this time I found the the horseshoe shaped indentation so I feel confident I'm in the right area now. Really needed to enter right into the garden to find it. It was a few metres away from where I had focused my search previously. Found a tied up plastic shopping bag at GZ that grossed me out. Not sure exactly what it contains but gave it a poke with a stick to find that it was crawling in maggots. Eeewwww!! Sorry but not taking this rubbish out with me. Difficult area to search but I persisted for quite a while but no cache for me this time. Will return and try again. Enjoyed learning about the history of this spot. Thanks for doing the research and placing the cache The Coffee's.

Knew I was in the right area. Just needed to approach it from the preferred direction.

They say you learn something new every day, today I did. Pity that the old house was demolished, found the horse shoe easy enough the next bit not so easy. Not shure about it being a micro?. Thanks Mr Coffee FTC and some more history.

Found while in Melbourne with skullracing.
To be honest I don't actually remember doing this cache (I forget a LOT these days), so I'm sorry for the shit log but i'm sure we had fun!

We were on our way to the Active April event over somewhere not far from here, and this was cache number 2 for the day whilst we moseyed our way "somewhere over there"
We all jumped out and made our way to the posted co-ords like a small mob of Browns cows and gathered the required info to throw a full scale search into operation......
Well....it turned out that we had to throw the search around for a fair while due to our eyes being painted on, but eventually the Queen came up with the goods in a place none of us had looked before....and there was much rejoicing.
So, as the above picture shows, we signed the log, replaced the cache, and then did what the trees do and leave....to the event......somewhere over there.

Thanks Ian and Shelby for the great little multi that sharpened our senses for the day.

Cheers

No luck for us (GJMMelb, quiet1_au and I) today unfortunately. It was clear where we were meant to look, but we couldn't see a cache there.

I the fading light of dusk we (lochb, G' of GJMMelb and I) headed around the carparks to try our luck with this multi. For some reason we made a mess of the GZ calculations and redid them several more times until we were sure we hadn't made any more mistakes... But it didn't help, we searched for some time in what seemed to be the right spots (and some others too) but no cache was to be found and we gave it away to get just one more cache... Sad (As consolation though there was a Strawberry Guava in the garden so I enjoyed tasting a couple of its fruit)

Found with day1976. I had the day off after a fairly hectic weekend. So decided to pop out this way and Day finished early so here we are. I found a decoy tree. Would have been perfect. In the end I rang the CO mostly to make sure he's resting Razz and asked for help. Sure enough there it was. Bugger! Tftc
