Well i dont know WHERE THE CHAIR IS !!And for interstaters finding the correct entry point was a bit interesting ...Hopefully the Uni students didnt mind us parking in their carpark and jumping a gate to get underway ? Found with SSRAT AND GOOSE,They were in Australia for a few days and planned a big trip to smash some smilies over a cpl states and about 4000 lga's !! Lots of laughs had and we didnt even kill each other after 4 days TFTC
I think we spend more time trying to find the best access than we did getting up and back. We made our own path up and after another find by the toolman we walked back down the proper path! Thanks for a 20 year old cacheTeam HorizonsOur four day boys trip was an 1800km dash from Melbourne Airport into southern parts of NSW, caching in 19 different LGAs. After an overnight near Melbourne airport, the toolman picked us up and we were off. Overnight stops were in Deniliquin, Ariah Park and Albury with a small selection of caches in each LGA unless there some more exciting ones to make us hang around a bit longer. The toolman finally filled his D/T grid. Lots of laughs, lots of insults, a good number of caches, but not enough sleep! Thanks to all the COs that made the trip a fun adventure. Day 3 of our trip and this one was another quick find by us before adding our names and then replacing as found and then moving on to the next on the shortlist. This was a mainland trip from Tassie to do a couple of things, we wanted to grab a few LGAs and also the big item was to finish of the DT grid of 1Toolman.We landed late on Wednesday night and after a good night at the Melbourne Novotel Toolman picked up and drove us North for four days of caching before he brought us back on Sunday night, we had a great time with lots of caching and lots of laughs.Found on 26/10/2024 at 13:02:00 thanks to Team Horizons for placing this cache for me to find. We found an interesting trade in the geocache! Also theres no chair there but you can see where it was
My banding trip to Charcoal Tank (West Wyalong) was cancelled due to forecast rain but I decided to go anyway. Camped in the car (good call as it rained on and off all night) and so after a quick bird walk (hoped for species seen) and a drive to Ungarie for the AdLab a slow trip home to collect some selected caches (mainly higher D/T or a series to complete).Targeted this one as it fills a Jasmer hole. Parked as close as I could, jumped two fences and then straight up the STEEP hill. Lots of weeds here (olive, tree of heaven, boxthorn) - you would hope the uni would do something about them. Great views at GZ and a quick find (photos always help). Then a quick scramble back to the car.TFTC Tram Horizons
Found a old one that has been destroyed. Had a look for a good 10,20 minutes other half is in good condition
Our second disappointment for the day as the two access gates we came across were firmly locked.
Good views and nice short easy walk. Logbook is a little mouldy but still findable. TFTC!
Today we explored Wagga Wagga and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
Found after much searching a camera cap is keeping it safe and dry under a rock as the hint says
Very nice walk and the view is really good. Unfortunately the Cache needs repair. The lid is still there and the log is wedged in it but the rest of the cache is gone so no prize other that the fabulous view.
Abandoned the climb mid way coz a spider got on me briefly and I thought nah fuck that and went home x
Team of three left no stone unturned, lots of muggle activity evident. Might need to be replaced. Sadly
Could not find. There was no chair and container possibly broken or gone.
Left no stone unturned in order to find this one. Cache not weatherproof- needs replacing
I have been going through my old books used while caching to jot down my cache done, noticed that I have not logged this one yet... Sorry it is a late log...
There are some amazing views of Wagga up here, Found the cache after much searching, the chair is no longer around, it does get replaced every now and again. It was a little hard to get out of its hiddy hole but did replace it back where it was.
Thanks Team Horizons for this cache

In the area as I grab a couple of caches and after the nearby Trig Point. Had a couple of Adventure Labs on my radar today but then detoured via some ‘roads less travelled’, letting my GPS be my guide.
Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here. As others have said - chair has been removed but it would have made a great place to sit and contemplate life.
Cache container is ruined (had no spare on me - sorry). Managed to add my mark to the log.
Needs some TLC.
Thanks for the cache

Quick and easy find although the cache us in severe need of replacing. Took the trail up from the stair case so no need to climb fences. TFTC

This was the first find of 35 finds for the day. On our first day in Wagga Wagga on the way to the Mega in Wangaratta, Mizmaz and I made this our first and main target cache of the day. I’ve heard so much about this cache and given it fills in a missing month/year combination for myself and Mizmaz, we were very determined to find this cache – even in the scorching heat. We parked the car as close to the path up to the chair, and I realised I could use my new hiking poles for the first time, as well as the gaiters I bought to keep my legs clean and scratch-free. Sure, it may be a little overkill but anything to make life easier on a road trip is always welcome. Up and up we climbed until we hit GZ. The original chair is missing, there were remnants of a plastic chair plus bits and pieces of something that was possibly the cache. What a disappointment to an extensive and exhaustive search but thank you for keeping the old cache listing alive. Mizmaz performed some basic maintenance on what we found and hopefully the CO can perform some much needed maintenance. SL. TFTC.

Travelling through the area en-route to the Wangaratta Mega, took advantage to tick off this old-school hide for a missing Ausmer month. Expecting a hot day ahead, started this one early and still arrived back at the car a darker shade of pale. Probably more due to spending a long time searching all the likely spots and getting advice from a PAF. Eventually found parts of the container described to us so performed some basic maintenance and replaced where our PAF had indicated, along with part of a chair… not sure if the original. CO or next finder may like to check and replace with a better container though by the trash (ie broken bottles), looks like the view attracts a few muggles during semester.
Wow, took a little, but got there in the end. Exactly where it says. My daughter found it, and as she says ' well after that climb I deserve to find it 'TFTC
Took the road less traveled to get to this cache not having any local knowledge. It was a fair climb!
The seat was missing, but after some minutes searching we managed to sort out the clue. Then with a bit more looking we found the little devil.
Good views, then took the road more travelled back.
Once again we are on the go in Wagga Wagga. We come here semi regularly as our son and his family live in Tumut. The boys attend swimming lessons and play soccer in Wagga, so we often do a few caches before or after we watch the boys. This is the first time in several years we have spent time here on our own, and have really enjoyed getting out and doing some serious caching.
The quality of many of the series we have done and the hides we have found is outstanding. Each day sees us finding a wide variety of cache types, which we are enjoying. We believe that a mix of both rural and urban locations contributes to the variety. Well done Wagga Wagga, you obviously have an enthusiastic local group of geocachers.
TFTC we appreciate your effort in developing, hiding and maintaining this geocache.

We came to this spot primarily to log a Trig Point but as this was so close, we could not ignore the cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. To our dismay we then discovered that we had come without a pen. Thankfully someone had lit a small fire and there was good charcoal with which we were able to sign the log. Thanks for the cache.
A very fun find up on top of the hill. Beautiful views. The chair is no longer there although it's clear where it used to be. TFTC
Found during a week in the Riverina.
The seat has been removed. The cache was exactly where the hint suggests. TFTC

A weekend away with the gang from Canberra. We did many together, but a few separately too. The whole team consisted of Joolay, Kittykatch, Strangetrousers, MTrax, TikvaNZ, Barb2e, Smittengranny, cosmonaut97, Aquilus1 & Tankengine. We had an awesome time away caching in Wagga Wagga and the surrounding areas and catching up with the local cachers Baby&Mrs Gopher. Thanks everyone for a fabulous time.
This cache: This was a nice old cahce to fill a gap in my stats. We parked down the bottom and made a striaght up climb to GZ. Andwhat a nice spot it was! Good cache as well. Tftc Team Horizon!!!

A weekend trip to Wagga and The Rock with dty73, Tankengine, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Mtrax, Strange Trousers, Barb2e, Smittengranny, TikvaNZ and cosmonaut97. The plan was for 'Kengal' and then a number of caches to suit all along. Many of the caches were completed all together and others into smaller groups as our directions took us but an enjoyable weekend away with a great group. Thanks for your cache that helped lead to a fun weekend.
A 2004 was an easy choice for our list, a short hill but a mighty hill coming from directly below. The grass was wet and the granite slippery but a really great spot up the top. I get the mention of just sitting at the top, it was nice and the GZ unexpected but great.

This weekend we (dty73, Aquilus1, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Mtrax, Strange Trousers, Barb2e, Smittengranny, TikvaNZ and cosmonaut97) came to invade Wagga and The Rock! We when to several caches together, but also split into smaller groups to chase individual pursuits! Although a little light rain crept in on Sunday, all in all, the weather was fine, and we had a great time!
Thanks for the company at this cache dty73 and Aquilus1.

Long hike that took about 20mins but it was all with it when we found it, tftc. Also, the chair is missing
Not sure if the chair reference if for the chair that used to be on the rock but the only chair in sight is a burnt broken metal chair by an old campsite and couldn't find any geocache
After another thorough search it was found! It had been moved closer to the throne with a wonderful view.
Well that was quite a hike, in the wake of a dust storm, amidst the heavy drips of rain lol! We of course took the route up that included ridiculous fence jumping and bush bashing before finding the sensible walk back to the car. A truly memorable cache. Thanks so much!
....
Dashed down to Wagga with Gliss! for a crazy mix of trainings and caching! Always a fun adventure!! Thanks everyone for planting and maintaining the caches.

Found with nibletricecakes on a quick tripto Wagga to collect smilies for carious challenges. Thanks for getting this one re-enabled Loci.
Watch out for the glass. Thanks for the cache. This would be a great place for a cito event.
Well, that was a solid 45 minute look. I think my GPS is playing up. We found it in the end. I think the Roos laughed at us for taking so long.
Based on the of Dec/26/2018 the issue with this cache seems has been resolved!
Whilst it would appear the cache is not receiving the attention it deserves from the CO, it lives on until another issue pops up.

Reviewer - I kindly ask that you please enable this cache on behalf of the CO. It was only ever reported for maintenance and disabled because of the closed track. The track is now open however, and the cache is in place and in good condition! Would be silly to lose an old school 2004 cache!
---
I saw that this was disabled but only because of a track closure which should be open by now! Either way, it was 40 degrees so I wasn't taking no track, but the quickest way to GZ so I didn't have to sweat it out for too long! So parked in a shady spot and headed straight up the steep hill!
Not too long and I reached GZ! The High Chair was quickly discovered and with the hint the cache was a quick find!
However I dropped my pen on the climb up! Given it was 40 degrees and the tough ascent from the car, I couldn't make 2 more trips to grab another pen. So instead I have posted both sides of the logbook and the container for proof.
Thanks to Team Horizons for the cache! Hope to see it enabled again and looked after.

Walking tracks closed from June 2018 until Nov 2018 due to weed control. Please temp disable.
T4TC - Wow wee!!! After a trek straight up from a goat track not the walking track we were presented with a stunning view!! Another little treasure in our big town!! Cache was well and truly stuck, took 4 hands and some cursing to get it untsuck. But we got it.
We moved it a few cms on replacement to ensure it doesn't become stuck again.

I had no idea what the High Chair referred to, as I couldn't see any chair. I thought maybe it referred to a high boulder. I found no cache. Now back at my computer I see a concrete base I wondered about used to be the chair. I did feel about there, but the cache must be further away. Not a lost trip up here though, as I came up to photograph the trig. This cache would have been a bonus. DNF.
Found on a beaut day of caching with Joolay, AngelG27 and DarkSideDan. What a lovely town full of good caches. Many thanks to all and sorry for the mainly generic logs. TFTC !!
Cache 3676 on 14 Apr 2018
Back in Wagga for another weekend of caching - this time with Kittykatch, Joolay and DarkSideDan. A couple of the power trails in our sights, but a few others besides!
Unless otherwise indicated, caches found and in good order.
Thanks Team Horizons for the cache and the fun!

Found with Kittykatch, AngelG27 and Darksidedan on a caching weekend to Wagga. Been a great day and loved seeing a different part of the country. Thanks for bringing us here
As previous logs have noted, both the container and the log are cactus. So as my good deed for the day I found a spare micro container in the car, put a log in it and put it in place of the old one. The new container is much smaller than the original one, BYO pen. Great view from the top, and I encountered a couple of foxes running about between the boulders.
After two very long weeks at work and other commitments on the to-do-list, I decided to get away and do some caching. I decided to clean up as much as I could of north Wagga today on the long weekend. Thanks to all CO’s for the fun and for the caches I found today. Sorry to all cache owners if I put 2/9/17 instead of 2/10/17.
After finding the nearby GCA cache I made my way to this one. I wasn't going to leave this one off the list because I needed it for the 'Project GC' month calendar and because it is Wagga's oldest cache. I made a quick find of the cache. I then took the photos (posted with this log) and headed down the hill back to my car.

Parked nearby. Jumped that fence and trekked to the top. Cache is very brittle but still usable.
Good find while holidaying around the area today.
Had a great time going from cache to cache.
Thanks for the fun!
Container and log need replacing.

Whilst the chair is gone, we actually did find the remnants of the cache which is in much the same condition as the photo taken at the beginning of 2016. Needs a complete overhaul. Container lid has perished and something has eaten the logbook. Great climb and views and the state survey mark is a point of interest too.
Found it after a short search. I think somebody used your chair as fuel for their bonfire.
Lovely geotuesday to be geocaching! We walked up the geohill and found much geowildlife... Geowow!!
Moved geocache to a nearby location (within 100m) for some extra fun searching! Good luck geobuddies. This new geolocation is much harder than the last. Hint: the sky's the limit!
