Took a while to find these answers but went wrong somewhere along the way and had to paf to confirm co ords. Nice quick find once at gz. TFTPC

Signed and returned as found. Thanks for the walk. Tftc

10-Oct-23
After attempting this one many times over the years, finally made the find today.

16-Sep-23
What a fantastic bit of bushland for a cache. An urban oasis! This cache has been on my radar for some time. After being cooped up in the house all week, I needed to get out and find a cache. Cache was tucked away nicely at the final GZ and in excellent condition, especially considering it hadn’t been found in almost a year. Beyond being a 2004 placement, which gets a big tick from me in its own right, I also needed this cache to complete a new challenge cache released recently on the Canning River. This moved finding this cache up my priority list rather quickly. Cheers Team Bungarra! Big Grin

18-Oct-22
This has been the closest cache to my home for the last few years and on my radar for far longer than that. I had attempted step one in the past and got nowhere but decided to try again with the assurance that everything was now up to date.
Was a bit worried there may have been a typo in the steps so had two potential waypoints for step 3, but one was the more obviously correct and I spied the key to the final gz quickly. Took a while to find the final, but it WAS where I figured it might be, I just had to find it. Careful with the leaves of the host, got a nasty "paper" cut on my thumb while extracting the cache.

03-Mar-22
This was on our must do list today.
After some confusion and bumbling around on our part and with a little PAF help we had what was needed to make the find at GZ.

TFTC Bungarra this is find #13157 for us.

30-Oct-21
Heading out for a day of geocaching with Meme28 , Kapelula and the geokids. All caches found in good condition. Thanks for the brain strain to get the cords.Logged as MIK

30-Oct-21
This one took a lot of effort, way longer than expected. Worth it though for an oldie for the Jasmer grid. Found with I C Nothing and Meme28. Some logs signed as MIK.

30-Oct-21
Teaming up with ICNothing Kapelula and the geo kids as Team MIK we hunted down this multi which was intensive…

25-Sep-21
Had the final coords for this one for ages. Finally in the area today wearing suitable footwear. A quick find at GZ. Love these multi caches. Tftc Smile

26-Aug-21
Out and about withDkla.vk grabbing smilies along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for us to find , tftc

01-Aug-21
We decided that there was no point staying on the house, despite the rain. We had a pleasant walk around this nice reserve & soon had our name in the logbook.TFTC Bungara

21-Mar-21
Headed out early to beat the heat to grab some caches. Stopped to grab this one on the way. Once the co-ords were worked out the cache was found quite quickly TFTC Bungarra

18-Mar-21
776 days unloved here and great to finally knock off this multi.

Headed out to the swan view area this morning with Cravo10 to pickup a couple of caches that have been on out to do list for quite some time but somehow manage to always slip away from us. A great morning out before it got too hot with 3 multis, 2 puzzles and 2 traditionals which is a good spread.

We called time a little earlier today with the hot weather making caching on the trails a little warmer than we anticipated.

Thanks to the COs for the fun.

18-Mar-21
Thanks Team Bungarra for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.

04-Jan-21
Hi there - have waypoints 2 & 3 been replaced yet?

22-Mar-20
This cache doesn't need maintenance.

21-Mar-20
Waypoints 2 & 3 need maintenance - thanks.

01-Feb-19
Where to start. Our nemesis is finally beaten. I have to say that we shy away from multi's as most we attempt have some sought of issue and are hard if not impossible to complete.

When we first started this one we couldn’t work out the first clue and after trying everything we could think, eventually gave up and contacted the CO. He very patiently pointed out our error and soon after we ended up with cords for WP2.

WP2 was found easily enough however more drama’s here. Due to a recent upgrade one of the three markers had been replaced so again we couldn’t continue. Back to the CO who confirmed what the marker should be and we had cords for WP3

WP3 also turned out to be a drama, and the marker couldn’t again be located despite a long search and the CO again confirming we were at the correct spot. So we just reserved ourselves that this one was in the too hard basket and we left it be.

After about a year I was going over our DNFs and this one came back on the radar and I noticed that it had been since found, but noted that the finder who had previously found it couldn’t locate WP3 either. Sparking a bit of hope I again contacted the CO who agin very graciously assisted us in the final cords.

Cache is now put to bed but has been a very big learning curve for us. My sincere thanks to the CO who has been unbelievably helpful. This is a great multi to do and I highly recommend it.

TFTC Team Bangarra, fav point from us.

01-Feb-19
Finally found with Team Barritts, TFTC and fav point.

02-Dec-18
Had another look for the tag at WP3 but no luck again today. Time to reach out to the CO to see if they can assist, TFTH.

11-Jul-18
I found this cache almost 11 years ago and I saw the recent logs where people can't find the 3rd waypoint which was a tag in a tree, so I thought I'd go for a walk on a nice winters day and have a look for the tag and the cache as I still have the co-ordinates for all the waypoints on my PC. I didn't check the 1st or 2nd waypoints but I found the tree easily and had a good look around but definitely no tag there any more. I looked at my photos before I left home and the tree has grown a bit in all that time...as they tend to do. Unless you've moved it to a different tree the tag needs replacing. Walked on to the cache location and this has grown a bit as well. It was very well hidden but I found it after a short search. The cache is still in good condition considering how long it's been since it was found last. I stamped the logbook with my stamp I had a friend make in the US which I haven't used for about 4 years. jasenjanine's log was the last one in there from nearly 3 years ago, although they put 2012 instead of 2015 for some reason. Took nothing but I added a toy dolphin for the kids. Thanks for bringing me back here Bungarra, brought back a few memories. Cheers

01-Apr-18
We had another try for this one and located the WP1 easily enough (with the help of the CO), worked out WP2, took the hint and parked a little closer, but alas no metal tag/s were found at the GZ. We had another team roll up - BJA3 and they confirmed we had the same co-ordinates but either team couldn't locate the tags. We even widened our search to at least 20 meters but no luck.

I will shelve this one for now as DNF and move onto others, TFTH anyway Team Bungarra!

01-Apr-18
We worked out the clues and got to the second WP however no luck here today. Met another team who also couldn't locate the metal tag. Will have another try again later. TFTC!

09-Feb-18
This geocacher reported that there is no longer a problem with this cache. Thanks 'timmyh' for reminding me!

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

03-Feb-18
Had high hopes for this one, but on arrival at WP2 found that one set of numbers is missing. Requires some maintenance.

04-Nov-17
We got here and followed the clues. The only sign on the right of the entrance allows for an elimination to leave 4 letters, not 15. We looked around to second step but with no luck. We finally decided enough was enough. Maybe some better clues?

24-Feb-17
Clues and Cache checked: Tagged and Bagged! Happy hunting!!

20-Nov-16
I know this is a disabled cache but I thought I'd make a start.

I have looked at the board and note a problem. It looks fairly new and there are currently only 4 letters that are not repeated. This only applies when looking at one side because the same information is repeated on the reverse.

02-Nov-16
Sorry, need to disable this until I can conduct a check/maintenance on it.

Cheers,
Bungarra

01-Jun-16
We found the coordinates and ended up in sandy bush, couldnt find the metal tag! Will return in day time

06-Dec-15
Headed out for some exploration around Jane Brook & the surrounding area, this was one of the caches we found along the way.... Last time I was in the area, I thought I had figured out the right co-ores but turns out I was some distance away Surprised Today we returned to see if my workings were correct & turns out we were spot on, although we nearly gave up in our search!

TFTC Team Bungarra Cool Very happy to be able to find this one after the last log entry almost 3 years ago.... Cache was in good condition.

12-Oct-15
Thanks for checking on this one. We will certainly try this one again now we know it still exists. Can't wait to tell my geofriends that it is not a dead end... But we will find it first just for bragging rights!

20-Sep-15
After the recent post by Otleys5, I took a walk and found the cache exactly where it is meant to be. The cache container is in perfect condition, all contents dry and intact.

19-Sep-15
Have tried this one many times. Not found for a year. Think it is time for it to be reviewed and archived.

23-Aug-14
Out doing a morning caching run and glad to tick this one off...TFTC

23-Dec-12
Always a relief to log one of your multis...awesome area, so much room for more caches...cheers bungarra

22-Dec-12
A long, sandy walk with a bit of bush trekking trying to find a suitable track. Great to be able to log this cache. Thanks Team Bungarra.

25-Nov-12
Well after yesterdays false start. Mr Felix returned home with a photo and we studied it together.

Hmmm Jointly we still couldn't get the desired answer to the question so an email to a previous finder set him
off to the right GZ.

From here he studied and collected the information, after cleaning the waypoint marker. Was a bit alarmed here as there
was a VERY Surprised large Male Kangaroo right there, which startled Mr Felix.

With a GZ now for the final it was time to work out where to park so after circumnavigating the area a parking spot was decided upon
then it was still a 400metre walk on soft sand to reach the cache.

Didnt take too long and was pleased to be able to nab the TB that has been resting up in here for a few months.

24-Nov-12
Hmmm attempted this one today but ended up at someones front door? for the Waypoint.

Time to see recheck although the sign looked very new [|)]

26-Oct-12
Came out with a friend to try this one.
Couldn't work out which sign to use to start it off.

Will have to have a think about it and come bank again.

16-Sep-12
Clues amended - thanks Honkiroks Smile

15-Sep-12
2nd go at this one but finally got there...and to think we were right there on the first visit.

Cleaned off the metal tag as it was quite hidden.

P.S. there is 6 letters on the sign but you can still get there regardless.

Dropped of the Callum Bug TB

Easy to find when you do the calcs properly Smile

After my dnf I went back over the calculations and found my glaring error. Back out this morning for an easy find. TFTC.

22-Jun-12
Sadly my only DNF for the day after some 25 successes.

Solved the first bit and was off the WP2, got the numbers there (I think) but ended up in the nearby reserve along way from any paths. Think I'll have to recalc the final to see if I made a mistake.

I shall return!

07-Apr-12
Out with iluvtrekking. Between the four of us we managed to work through the processing of the numbers. Eventually came up with something viable and enjoyed a very nice walk through the bush to make an easy find at gz. There is evidence of a fire in the surrounds but things look like they are regenerating.

07-Apr-12
Found with richlink. After a good deal of head scratching and number crunching we had some coordinates, I'm sure that having four heads is better than two. Thanx for a very interesting afternoon. TFTH.

09-Oct-11
Started this one ages ago. I still see six letters not repeated but got through it anyhow. Didn't see a TB in cache.
Good fun cache, thanks Team Bungarra for your help.

A visit to check the cache and log some TB movement. A pic of the Cemetery sign is attached (it doesn't spoil anything ... you still need to go there to work out further clues to the final).

3479Km from home.
Part three of my cunning plan... To do a find on the day we fly to Perth then do another cache in WA to try to break the distance between two caches in a day.
Snuck out with a torch to do the first one just after midnight in Brisbane and did this one on our arrival in WA as 'check' for the cache owner.

Thanks for the cache Team Bungarra.

found with sgtant on a day out cant remember the date

18-Aug-11
Um, I found 6 non repeated letters. The sign appears new once again. May need a look into.

21-Jul-11
This was a really good cache, we did this one at night and when it was raining. I think that some of the cars that went past on one of the legs thought we were crazy (maybe we were). Thanks for the brilliant cache.

28-Apr-11
Cache replaced and good to go - Good luck! Wink

20-Apr-11
Cache area has probably regrown sufficiently to replace the cache after the bush fire in Dec 2010. Photos attached of the remnants of the cache - along with a TB that was resident at the time (the round tin in the pic was TB Potato). Will reactivate this one after Easter.

20-Apr-11
Forgot to log TB Ante Up ...

04-Jan-11
Offline due to a bushfire some weeks ago. The entire cache was destroyed including (unfortunately) a TB that had spent some time there. Details to the TB Owners as soon as I can.

21-Dec-10
Spent 45 minutes searching for the tags, constantly second guessing our calculations. Although where we were searching has had a bush fire recently as there has been no regrowth (after googling I saw it was in November 2010) so I am wondering if it is still there?

Hopefully this can be clarified?

16-Dec-10

Found what I was looking for however the cache was a blob. GZ has been burned and it was difficult to stamp or sign the carbon. But I tried! I was a long way from the car and as it was so so so hot, I did not go back and get a replacement. I'll leave that for a local. See pics. Clear skies. Great spot and it will be interesting to see the regrowth.

'Flying' visit to log in two Liberty Belle TB's originating from the USA that have travelled via Guadalcanal (Solomon Islands) to honour the owner's father who flew there during WWII in defence of the Pacific.

05-Jan-10
This is a great multi cache. We enjoyed the challenge. Found each clue eventually but nothing came easy. It was our twelfth find for the day and by the time we were done it was our last. We made a few errors but soon sorted them out.

Phew what a scorcher!!! After a brief recalculation I back a second attempt at the 3rd and final waypoint. This time a spotted it plugged in the new co-ords into my iPhone. A quick wander across the track and after a few circles went back to the place it was on the first look and ... Bang there it was!!! SL and moved on The Rat TB. Will find a spot for it later today. Thanks fo the GREAT cache. Had an awesome few day with it. Oh and that sand SUCKS in 40 degrees!!!!

02-Jan-10
Grrrr had issues finding the metal tag. Wondering whether the three numbers from the previous step were correct. Will ahve another check later. TFTC

Found while visiting from SA.

Lovely banksias in this area. Took some good photos. Seemed like we were walking in sandhills near the beach.

Took a bit of 'reckoning', and we don't think the coordinates were 'dead' on, but we found it with the help of some previous logs.

Took 1 trackable to journey back home with me. Left 3 trackables I brought over on the plane.

07-Jun-09
Getting to this cache was a good workout - where does all the sand come from??? We should have taken more notice of the parking coords provided. Great spot. TNLN. Thanks Bungarra

06-Jun-09
Finally found it. Can't believe with two people working out the third waypoint and getting exactly the same answer we were still slightly out. Were in the general area but did need a little help, thanks AusTrackers. Taken Antonias's Schnuller TB and the Little Christmas Star TB, will place them this arvo. Left Oristano TB and Urch's Cache-Aid kit. TFTC Bungarra

V3, 03 May 2009: Due to some remodeling at this location, the signage originally used for this cache has been revamped twice! This updated version will now get you back on track…

03-May-09
Dropped off a couple of TB's after checking all was in order after the revamped clues ...

27-Apr-09
Hmmmmm didnt delve to deep, the two boarded sign seemed to only be on board, and what we calculated left us a fair distance away and pretty far from reasonable possibilities??

27-Apr-09
I'm thinking the signs at the front of the cemetery might have been changed or upgraded as it didn't appear to match the description given.

This was a good cache! Real dead reckoning - having to calculate your way around. No problems at waypoints 1 and 2. Took the long but easy way in to the cache (don't know if there was a short easy way). Found the final cache easily and retrieved the Geochum GC. Thanks Bungarra for the fun we had with this cache.

13-Apr-08
visited the first way point six months ago
went back today to complete the journey
at way point 2 there are 4 light sources, fortunately only three are numbered
after battling thru the bush to way point 3 (missed the path completely) there was the struggle to read the co-ords .Mrs Blingg had to climb on my back to read them as neither of us are 7 feet tall
after this, cache was an easy find

Finally found it and glad to tick it off after being on the Shelf for a long time. Grabbed TB Ian the Snowman to move on. Thanks for the cache and hunt.

06-Oct-07
Found without any dramas this afternoon, and enjoyed the mix of clues and the bushwalking. I took the long way to the final WP as it turned out, but like i said...it was an enjoyable end to a good cache.

Took the Crocodile TB, British Columbia GC and the Geocaching Club GC. DIDNT take the 3blindeyes GC which i didnt notice in there.

Left the Snowman TB and swapped a United Nations badge for a United FC badge.

Thanks for a cache which kept me nicely occupied this afternoon.

Found the cache at 1pm. Hooray make it, phew!! Enjoyed walk along to the cache. Took - 3BlindEyes Hoxie Scout Geocoin. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.

Well, this cache led us on a merry chase for a while! Waypoint 1 was easy enough to work out, and waypoint 2 was very easy, but we had to re-think our maths at the 3rd waypoint 3 times! Finally got it right though. Found the tag on the tree quite easily even though it was 11 metres out from where we worked it out to be. Close enough is good enough! Walked the last 100 metre leg straight to the cache for an easy find at 4:20pm. Lots of flowers and Kangaroo Paws to see in this area. Took - PaddyK geocaching stamp. Left - our 5th geocoin traveller "Hoxie Scout" to start its travels around WA. We hope it travels well. Thanks for the challenge Bungarra!

TB logging visit ...

04-Jul-07
What an effort! Getting to waypoint 2 was easy. Finding the 3 numbers at waypoint 2 was starting to get frustrating. After walking around looking for numbers we gave up and as we were driving past waypoint 2 we had a light bulb moment. Could have saved a bit of time had that come alot earlier!
The metal tag at waypoint 3 was a bit elusive, but we finally found that as well. Then on to the cache!
Thanks for the hunt, a well put together multi, now to lie down and rest my head from all those numbers and math!

18-Jun-07
Good cache...took two goes to complete and was quite a challenge! Took boomerang key ring and left golf ball.

15-Apr-07
No. I was right - I think. I found all the requisite waypoints etc. but I seemed to be about 20m off everywhere. But - A find is a find!

09-Apr-07
Stopped at first waypoint. Much checking of math and grammar - cant find three 4-digit numbers "in the vicinity" - not until kilometres away did the "light the way" phrase seem to have some importance Red Face Will have to go back later (mind you I'll still probably be wrong Wink).

08-Apr-06
Could have finished this one ages ago if I'd just been a little more with it on my last visit months and months ago.

Can't believe I spent so much time looking for those coordinates on the tree last time. Returned today to see if
I would have better luck. Coordinates led me back to familiar territory and this time found quickly.

Went on to find cache quickly. Cache was not generally visible but was left in the open. Some moisture was evident and I did my best to dry things out. I returned cache to what looked to be the obvious spot.

Took: Nothing!
Left: PaddyK Geocaching Down Under stamp!

Picked up:monster hand TB

08-Apr-06
Do you know what I hate ??? I have been planning to get out to the cache for weeks to grab the TB Left Hand of Death (sitting there for nearly 3 months), but of course I keep putting it off. Finally when I decide to get off the couch I find Paddy has been there 2 hours before .... ?!?! Of course I am glad he finally got the job done Wink

17-Jan-06
Where better to drop a TB named The Left Hand Of Death ?

apart from this geocache being only a short walk (700m) from home Big Grin

Btw, as I was walking to the cache I noticed it's actually a RIGHT hand Surprised
