As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Oh no like usual I printed this one off many months ago and have not looked up the cache notes. But After enjoyong a nice walk around the lakes I started searching, being careful not to be seen by a few passers by. Eventually I found the cache container lid... Nicely half buried under leaves exaclt in a spot where the clue says. So of course it has been muggles, I wrote my name on the cache lid and placed it back. Only to come home now and find out it has been muggled for a while, unlike the first 2 times I tried this cache It had always been missing due to flooding or previous muggles, I Lost my original calculations sheet and had to re write my answers, oh well at leastr I found something this time. Thanks for a nice walk and a good search..,
As there is no cache container I wished I had a spare container in my car and a log book to at least put here. But the lid is still snuggled in its spot..

Today Shelby went for a nice stroll on a beautiful day and found part of the cache or what was left of it.
It seems muggles have been visiting the site and Shelby found the lid of the first cache.[:(!]
I hope Blaze will consider replacing it in a different area of the park.[^]
Apart from that she said she enjoyed the walk and the clues were fun to do.[^]
Regards Mr.Coffee and the “This cache is in the Melbourne equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle†Clan.

I just got word this cache has been muggled AGAIN....
Very Disappointing.... The fact no-one else was able to find it since I replaced it means twice these muggles collected a full cache...
Sadly I feel the local school group of cachers that visited it last might be the problem.... it only takes one
As much as i don't want to archive my first cache... I don't feel like giving another cache to the thieves.
Apon reading the message again... I felt worse... what remained was not the lid of the second cache... but the lid off the first cache that was muggled... Now I'm really pissed off.

Cache back in place, I think I'll just leave it here next time.. too me too long to replace it
Hmmm.. the waters are up around the creek so I have paniced and pulled the cache.
I'll either place it back in the proper spot or move it to higher ground over the next week.
Update: well... overnight the creek broke it's banks again... glad I did pull the cache, I'll replace it in the next few days

I have finally got around to placing this cache again after it washed away. Location is similar to where it was lost from.
The Dandenong Creek is up a bit at the moment, and with the rain from last night.... I'll go check the cache today (Saturday Afternoon) and if it is under threat I'll remove it until the creek goes down.
I am sad to report that this cache is now AWOL.
The Creek is well up, but still short of the cache, it's possible the creek has risen enough to carry the cache away then resided. I don't think this is the case, the hole the cache was sitting in is still there so I think it's been muggled.
I'll replace the cache once the creek level goes back to normal.

After a trick search we located the cache.
The park was underwater and it made us travel a different direction. THrough luck we actually cut the journey short.
Took a Canadian geocoin and left pooh!

I've been trying to get to this cache for some months now, it's close by (almost too close by!) and Melbourne Cup holiday gave me the window of opportity to attack this cache.
It was a windy day and I saw muggles flying a real kite - most cool!
Found after a pleasant stroll around a park I never knew was here (although I've driven past it hundreds of times!). I had to wait for a muggle family to move past when I got to GZ - Mr Muggle kept looking back at me (I don't know what he was expecting me to do).
Good cache Blaze_au.

Whew... I was a bit concerned that my first cache had been lost with a TB inside, so I headed on over to check it out.
The area of the cache was pretty much intact with no evident activity, Apon looking at the cache site I started to get a bit concerned, but it was nothing to worry about, Mary & David (Maccamob) had done a great job of returning the cache nothing in the area looked out of place. I didn't touch the cache just kept walking. I'll contact Takagawa-kun and see if i can point 'em into the right direction.

Nice relaxing stroll around the lake, after running around doing the 13th cache earlier. As we were wandering between waypoints we saw an elderly man, dressed very much like a cowboy, riding a horse around the park. Then he rode up to us and asked us if we had a cigarette. Very surreal. We wondered if he just took his horse out as a ploy to try and startle people into giving him smokes. Anyway, we found the cache no worries, took TB Above & Beyond, and left Roman Senator.
Starting from 00:30 to 2:00, after 1.5 hours of bushwacking at the location of cache, we couldn't find it. I suspect that it's been taken. I'm too tired to go back during the day to take another look, after sticking around at that location for more than an hour, I'm rather fed up. Can someone else confirm that it is indeed gone, or am I just blind.
Found by Mary & David at 1835. We really enjoyed a great walk in this marvellous park. Fancy having it right outside your back gate. Loved the kite fliers too. Took aeroplane key ring, left miniature jug. Also left TB 'Above and Beyond'. Our thanks to Blaze_au.
I was all excited when I read about the 100K maps in the list for this one but alas, they had moved on when we arrived today so onwards and forwards with the 250K .
Found at about 1600 with Lena, very little other activity on this area of the park today apart from a few dog walkers and cyclists. Made us think we should've packed the bikes too but it was a great day for the walk.
We searched for around 15 mins and located the cache well covered.
Thanks Blaze_au for bringing us here and the well constructed puzzle to get to the cache.
took a duck and left a crocodile, it seemed appropriate at the time.

A nice park to start with and it got nicer as I walked around it on a cool but nice Spring morning. Found all of the waypoints as necessary and about 30 minutes later I was at GZ looking for the cache.
The cache was found after about 5 minutes of gentle searching (not wanting to disturb the plantings here). There were no muggles around this area today so my searching was unhindered.
I took a Blue Dinosaur and left a Stretchy Frog.
My thanks to Blaze_au for a nice walk and a nice cache location.

Decided to have an early start for caching today. Arrived at the 1st location at 640am. Found all the clues nice and easy. Lovely park.
Found the cache after a 10 minute search. It helps if I believe the GPSr. Swapped a cochroach for some glitter glue.
Thanks Blaze_au my 1st of 10 for the day.

Found on the second attempt. No idea why we missed it on the first go, as we found it within a minute on the second. Just cache-blindness, we think [|)] Much less water around this time. Lovely ride through the parks. Swopped a crab for a duck. Intially recorded in the logbook that we had exchanged a little aeroplane, but then neither of us could sqeeze all the bits back into the cache, so took something a bit bigger.
Thanks Blaze_au.
Thanks Blaze_au.
Found on 04/09/04 at 1412 AEST with (Chase & geoleopard). We must have had more rain last night than I thought ! We parked some 300m or so from the first waypoint and it was rather sodden underfoot crossing the playing fields. AFter a nice walk through a park I had never visited before we had to search for about 10 mins before finding the well hidden cache (and avoid a few muggles).

What an excellent 1st cache, Blaze_au. I had an hour to spare and have wanted to do this cache since seeing it appear a couple of weeks ago.
A nice interesting walk around another hidden park in suburbia. A very pleasant place to wander around and oh so busy with lots of people bike riding and walking throughout.
I parked at the wrong place and had about an extra 350 metres to start the cache search but as it was nice weather at the time I was quite happy to stroll to the 1st clue.
An easy find at the end apart from having to time it in between muggles and their pooches.
Took nothing, Left a "da bugs" spider.
Regards Andrew. "da big bug"

Found 14:55, after passing PPrass on the road, coming from another cache. A great walk in a fantastic park and an excellent first cache, well done Blaze [^]
Took TB i! Chick left Jeep key tag (guess where that came from ) Thanks Blaze.

I parked at the wrong place for this one and, by the time I'd got out of my car, walked a little way and then realized that there was a better place to park, I decided that an extra 750m was neither here nor there, especially on such a lovely sunny day. As I collected the clues, I thought that I may in fact end up near the car at the end.
This wasn't the case, but it was in the right direction. After collecting all the required answers, I headed off to GZ where the cache was located at around 5:10. I took a glitter glue and left a green crab. Thanks, Blaze_au for an excellent first cache, and an enjoyable walk in the sunshine.

I loved all the mystery about this one. Especially the disk. The walking kept us fit today. This one was also wet under foot, but not where the cache was hidden. I pointed my friend Viv in the direction, and she grabbed it. She loves coming out with me. Lots of ducks and water fowl about. Not too many 'kiddie muggles' as it was a wee bit windy and cold today.

Stopped by to check out my cache. The bush has suffered a bit since I planted the cache. I might have to use a more robust hiding spot next time.
I grabbed T1 - Midnight Express to move on to another cache while I was there.

There is a cache in Geelong called "A Marshy Place", but there isn't a marsh within cooee of the it (BTW: I know why the cache is so named, so you don't need to email me). With the rain we have had lately, this cache could easily be named "A Marshy Place" for the traditional reason. Even some of the paved paths were under water.
Still, it is a lovely park, with plenty of water and water birds. I enjoyed the walk around, and I enjoyed the short walk from the final waypoint back to the car park. I liked the theme of the cache. I liked the spot-on coordinates. All-in-all, a well-executed first cache. Thanks Blaze_au.
This was my first cache outing with my new toy: a Garmin Foretrex 101. I love it! It's small, light, accurate, and can be worn on the wrist, like a watch. [^] I bought it as my backup, but perhaps the Magellan will end up being the backup. As a result of wearing the GPSr, I didn't have a watch, so I had to fire up the Magellan to tell me that I found the cache at 1600.
I saw the T1 - Midnight Express TB in the cache, but I've already had him in my possession, so I left him there. Instead, I left i! chick to join him for a while, and to await the opportunity to meet new people, which is her mission.

With others finding this cache in the night, we thought we may as well give it a go. So after dinner we grabbed our stuff and as soon as we put on our walking shoes, Geodog went berzerk and insisted on coming with us. Got to the first spot, let Cleo out and straight into the first pond she could find - great We have a new truck and I wanted to at least have someone try our back seat before it got muddy. Followed all the clues - kept to the track and found the cache at 8.45pm. Nice place and as usual, we pass by here many times without stopping to check it out.
Took: Map CD Left: Aboriginal massage stone.
Also took Movin' Montana TB and dropped off TI-Midnight Express.
Thanks Blaze_Au for a great night out.

Found at 8:30pm. Backing up the Hitman and the Eagle on the following evening for a spot of night caching. (Rule 1 - you can't leave a cache so close to home unfound for more than 24 hours .) We know this park very well. A friend and work colleague's house backs onto this park. We passed his house on on leg of the hunt. We rang him on the way there to see if he wanted to join us but he had been crook the last couple of days and his phone was off the hook. Ah well, his loss.
It's amazing how disorienting the park becomes in the dark. That said, we had no trouble navigating around and duly had the cache in hand.
No problems with this one Blaze_au and we are looking forward to your next cache. (Living in the same suburb as us though, we may soon be competing for real estate .
Thanks from D & S B-A.
Took TB Koda. Left TB Movin' to Montana.

Took nothing (already had the Maps) Left a shrek 2 pen and Koda TB.
Thanks Blaze_Au for a great cache and congrats on hiding your first (and doing a great job of it)

Vicfire, this is Em_Eagle, First on Scene at Kite incident. Wordback from firefighters Hitman and Eagle, Incident Under control.
Not far from home, someone appears to have left a cache and we found it first!!
Took nothing, and left the stuff that Hitman mentioned.
Thanks Blaze_au.
