Having not been in this area before, but having found the required info and counted the Bathing Beauties a few weeks back, this was quite an enjoyable trip on the bike with a muggle solo.
We did have a little bit of back and forth not too far from GZ as we searched for a suitable approach without getting our feet wet. Eventually we parked and walked the last few hundred meters to GZ. The satellites were reasonably good at GZ and the cache was found without too much difficulty. Duly signed and returned to its hiding spot.
With the difficulty we had gaining access to GZ I can understand why this cache has not been found many times.
Thanks Derringer. I have been to WP1 a few times, but have wanted for many years to see what's "the other side".

My goodness what an epic cache this has been. I first attempted this back in 2006 as a relative newbie to caching. No maps on the GPS, no PDA, no planning. On that occasion I wandered around the building but couldn't work out what I was looking for and gave up after a few minutes. A couple of weeks ago I returned but found the info I needed immediately. I even managed to count the bathing beauties (I counted their feet and halved the number!) but couldn't find an access point to the cache.
After a chat to Maccamob and some map assessment I planned a trip out this way to put to rest this nemesis cache. I arrived about 8:30am after getting lost on some of the roads. I packed the bag prepared for some bush bashing but found the terrain quite easy going. The dark clouds and thick canopy produced a beautiful light that was matched only by the morning songs of the birds playing above me.
I made it the cache and was relieved to find I could do my maths properly. I snapped a photo of the great surrounds and headed back.
There aren't too many Derringer caches I can access in a morning's work, but I was glad for this opportunity.
Cheers,
R - B

Found by Mary & David at 1425. What a marvellous adventure. A return trip from Wagga gave us the opportunity to finish off this cache. We had collected the information last time we were in the area, but we were heading the wrong way then to complete it. Having had time to study maps and plan our approach, today was the day to explore this area. Quite relaxing watching the water and the birds. Still a lot of campers, fisherfolk and boaters around, but the spot where we set out on foot was all clear, and our homework paid off. Saw several 'roos and a wallaby as we neared GZ. Found the cache in the second spot we checked. We suppose the area would normally be quite peaceful, but today, the peace was frequently interrupted by the sounds of loud ski boats, several of which came equipped with loud stereos as well. Took lure, left 'hot handles'. Our thanks to Derringer for a great cache.
Rated: for Overall Experience
We were passing by on the highway today so made the short detour to the visitor information center to collect the information. What a lovely spot. Plotted the cache location, but it will have to wait for another trip.
Found info centre and all clues but had noway off crossing the mighty Murray The wife can't swim had her in but she kept comming out the same side as me (BUGGER)
We findly found it . Three try! Over came the major obstacle by going fishing.
Beautiful day 29 dec. nice day on the water.
Took 2 little doles ,left fishing lure and sinkers.

Found by Roma, Meggie, Kelsey and Max, in the company of Fred Bevfre.
This was the second attempt for Roma and Max on this new location, and although we used the correct numbers in our calculations last time we messed up in their assembly, resulting in a no find on our visit last Friday.
A special thanks to the Geo person who pointed out where we had gone wrong.
We returned as a determined assault team today, and unlike the method used to find the original container back in September 2004, we approached GZ in a somewhat different manner.
From past experience we knew that if we got the sums right and worked out the method of approach, we would find ourselves searching very close to the container, as turned out to be the case.
Our mission was to collect the Canadian Geo Coin, as we wanted it to visit one of our dear friend Bente, (a Canadian by birth), ‘Tandoori’s’ local caches.
The girls took a Rubber, and Mondo Figurine as keepsakes and left two Dolls for the cache,
Thanks Derringer, we can’t think of a place on earth that we would rather be searching in, other than these surroundings.

This was the 4th for the day. Did a lot of bush driving, got within 100 metres and was stopped by major obstacle. Might come back in warmer weather!
I have moved the cache approx 20m to be better hidden.
Also the initial clues will be refined as the audio clue is not working as it should.
I will get this back on line in the next few days.
Dropped of Toronto Geocoin for a short stay.

Found finally, very challenging, so near and yet so far. Found with Wombat Warriors 1 (see their comments re state of cache) TN Left notebook as old one damaged. Thanks Derringer, you had us stumped for a while.
Went looking Twice, the first time didn't have all the info just the co-Ord's, no use on this one, not sure if calculated Incorrectly or didn't believe location, run outm of time , may be next time !!
Did the Visitor Centre thing Ok and got close, lucky the tracks were fairly dry but still some mud. Not found and will try another approach next time.
What a great day & lovely spot for a drive and hike. Little slippery from recent rain fall, thankful for the right vehicular equipment.
Log book with cache had an entry from a stranger, whom seem quiet surprised to find it. Stranger also seemed to appreciate the game, took fishing hooks, left music tape and wine corks.
Also noticed a little water seeping into the cache.
Took pegs left soap, toothbrush & paste.
Thanks for the fun .

We found all the answers we needed and got to within 1.5km of the final cache but were stymied by the muddy tracks due to heavy rain the previous day. We will have to attempt this one another time when we are up this way. I guess if we owned a four wheel drive we could have made it through, never mind.

visited info centre and worked out the actual cache co-ords which pointed me to a camping spot up the road im guessing? - not having the reqd bush bashing vehicular equipment (was in a small truck), decided to leave to another time....
Well we got the co-ordinates from the info centre and went for a drive but ended up within 100 meters of the location but could not continue.
Found by Ray and Maya (The Nomads) in company with Max (Romax) at 3:40PM on the 25th of Sept. Nice touch with the cache location. We had our lunch 120 metres from the cache as we considered our options for accessing it. We had a pleasant drive through the forests to collect the cache data. We took a toy car and left a pack of pegs. Thanks for the exercise. The Nomads.

After a lot of planning with the members of Team SBRESQ, the day after the failed attempt, in the main street of Echuca (after buying a map of the area concerned from one of the shops where the owner is also a geocacher), we decided to make another concerted effort to come back the following weekend. Logistical transport in the last 10km was provided by JR of Team SBRESQ, and support provided by Private Ryan (Thanks Guys!) (Long way from Geelong!)
Located @ 11:35 - fairly quickly after getting transport sorted out and yet our vehicle was not quite running right. I think I scared some campers nearby when I yelled out at finding cache!
Thanks Derringer - a very good challenge!
Took: Self Inking Stamp
Left: Goanna

Tried to locate this cache after "Riding the rails, going nowhere" with Team SBRESQ. After getting the answers to the questions, obtained the new coordinates but was hampered by rain, rain and more rain! (Water Everywhere!) Was within 450 metres of GZ when I had to turn back!
Will have to try again soon - I'm hooked!
