The cache is infested with ants so will archive it. I'll put the TB in a different cache.
Steep hill! My 8 year old had to be dragged up most of it.
My wife stayed behind as it sort of looks like private property at the begining.
Pleanty of roo's around. Easy find.
Left robopet and swaped metal basket?

Accompany with R0gue. We enjoyed walk along to the cache. So beautiful view - also so peaceful area. No swap. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
A pleasant walk up this hill, though a bit breathless at times. The park bench near the top in the middle of nowhere was priceless
Took the Trail Marker GC, Left Eric the Echidna TB. T4TH!

The gate was open at the end of the road and we were able to park inside. It was a very pleasant walk up the hill with great views across the valley.
We took the trail geocoin.
Thanks for the cache.

Huzzah! Another find for the taswegian Pirate! Followed the map and parked the landship, and followed the map some more. However, I failed to notice that there was a second 'driveway' going off to the side, arr. Ended up jumping fences with Mummy Shadow, and didn't realise until we arrived back the landship where we left Daddy Shadow and a native (Marnie, aunty). Anyway, at Mum's disgression, I *ahem* aquired a mug and left a pen in it's place...I personally think that the swap was unfair, but I was told off for trying to leave better. Arr, was tempted to make her walk the plank, but I bit my toungue. Also, it may just be my blidness, but I failed to notice the geocoin. Pity, I like moving them and it could've come back with me to Tassie. Anyway, remembering something about 'beware ants' I gave the order. 'OK, I lift with my shoe, you grab.' There were no ants there, but there was a biiiiig spider beast. Anyway, hope the coinaged treasure still resides there, and TFTC! Hopefully I will get more done before I leave again. And remember, dead mens toungues don't wag!
The reason I was out here in the first place. (To leave "Trail Marker" GC). My GPS sent me "S" to the end of Stocker Road - it feels like walking into someone's driveway but the entry gate is there! No wonder they had trouble catching Moondyne - who could get a horse to climb up here - they'd surely have more (horse)sense.
Struggled to understand why this cache was here. No views, no history, no points of interest??? Found it anyway. Slightly nervous about access.
This was the most tiring hunt I have been on yet. The closest you can get is about half a kilometre uphill walk from the cache. The scenery on the way was nice though.

Hallelujah is about right. It's the exact word you utter when you see your car again. We also did this with pram, you have to go and "hike" this one to appreciate our plight of pushing and dragging 15kg up this trail. Really enjoyed the location. T:Stamps, Teddy (muppet) L:Hairband, $4.70. Thank you so much for this hunt. -Team Nolan
Parked as suggested in Stocker Road. There seem to have been a couple of changes. The first gate, which looks new, now has a pedestrian gap to the right, the second gate seems to have been removed, leaving two posts which were probably the pedestrian gap. Couldn't see any sign about Echidna trail. Not sure if the kangaroo trail mentioned was supposed to be a marked trail or just a route used by kangaroos, nothing is marked but it is quite clear where to go as the kangaroos seem to have been driving a bobcat!
Lots of good exercise here, and great views, especially from the second seat (off the track a bit to the left.)
The cache was in good condition, though covered in ants. For the first time we took a soap to leave, only to find that there were two bars there already! At least ours was the biggest - The Mercure on Swanston Street, Melbourne, is very generous with it's soap. Took a small yellow duck eraser.
Team Greydemon on this beautiful day was Nick, Lucy and Billy the Geo-mutt. Thanks for the cache.

Parked on Soldiers rd & headed west. Picked up trail near stream which made an easy walk to start with. Lots of trees down across the track From Monday's storm. Followed the GPS Up ... up ... up the hill, Found the cache safe & snug ! 5 mins into the return journey the batteries died ! Fortunate timing ! THanks for the challenging walk. {:)}
Took a friend for a ride to this Cache. First time he has been in the bush on a mountain bike. We came in from Churchman Brook Rd. There is a car park at the end of Beeloo rd. He liked the downhill part, but nearly killed him having to push his bike back up the hill. I have ridden right past this Cache dozens of times and never knew it was there. What a beautiful view from the park bench. Great location.

Was greeted by "Wags" before heading through the first gate but that was as far she went today. Probably still buggered after the workout the Westy's gave her the other day.
Found cache easily enough but the climb was a bit of a steep one. Not to be taken lightly after eating a full and heavy breakfast.
Took: Tape Measure.
Left: Kids Stamping Set & "Occy" Strap.

Well that was one big climb up the hill, so we are glad that we found it when we got there. We were a bit cautious about going thru the closed gates but on reading other logs decided that this was the way to go. From the start of the trail we had a visitor tagalong with us all the way upto the cache. Her name is Wag and she lives at the house at the end of Stoker Road. She is a dog of around 14 or 15 yrs according to her owner who we rang once we returned from the cache. The owner told us that she only ussually goes as far as the shed but today she must have liked us and followed us all the way to the cache, being a mature dog it was hard yakka for her to walk all the way up. After we founfd the cache and started back down the hill it was obvious that Wag was struggling walking down the hill due to her arthritus so we took pity on her and carried her all the way back to the bridge while trying not to go arse up on the gravel and gumnuts.
We will post a couple of pics of Wag incase the next cacher comes across her. She seems to know the way so look after her.
Took - compass thermo thingy
Left - Pendant pen
Thanks for a nice climb....we think....we will see how we pull up tommorrow.

HALLELUJAH!!!!!!! We made it.
Now for the story.
Up early, felt like a cycle in this lovely cool Perth weather and thought it would be great to revisit the area I grew up in. SO. Re-assembled the geoterriers bike trolley and pumped up the bike tyres.
Whoa easterly still blowing strong!! Its always calmest first thing back home. Still its not hot so even though its windy we are off. Two geoterriers in trolley - thats an extra 20+++ kilos. Not a problem at the moment as we are currently staying at the TOP of nearby Mt Nasura!! Its all down hill from here, well for a while anyway.
Hit Brookton Hwy, headwinds and incline make for slow going.
Stocker Road no problems - reminise about family friends who STILL live here.
OK now theres a gravel road UP a big hill. Tie bikes to the sign and its off on foot. Geoterriers are both eager after sighting the biggest roos they have ever seen. Back home they dont grow much over a metre.
Geoterriers and us make it to the cache zone and enjoy the cache.
Geoterrier #1 stalls. He has sore feet from all the walking to Settlers Serenity and various other caches and just doesnt like backtracking - the challlenge begins.
Carry 10kg geoterrier down the hill whilst keeping balance since there are so many honkey nuts!!!!!!!!! Survived that but wondered how the guys that did this cache at night managed to stay upright.
Now for the fun part - for every down there is an up!!!!
I think the biggest challenge of the cache was getting back up to the top of Mt Nasura pushing a bike with a trolley and two geoterriers.
I must have looked like a real hero when spotted by another local team, LP&N, on the steepest part of the hill doing all the hard work pushing bike and dogs whilst Ian followed. Little did they know that I had just swapped with Ian and he had ridden up the first part on my bike. Our little secret eh!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Cache Rangers for reminding us how great it is to live in a non-desert environment.

Last cache for the day today and what a big walk this one is, the views a great and you can see a long way, I was a bit worried about moving the tin as it could become home to a snake and I saw one earlier on at Jurassic Jaunt!! so I was very careful.
took fergus frog only and left nothing.
If you walk back down the kangaroo trail and once you get back to the main trail walk about 20 mtrs and look to the right if your walking down hill, here you will see a park bench go over and look at the views here, they will take your breath away.
thanks

Last of four for the day at about 4:50pm. This was a very strenuous climb up the hill from the Bridge - Gogetter and I had to make two rest stops on the way! But it's worth it in the end - the view from that bench is awesome.
Cache in the most obvious spot - but be wary of anything living with it! Well placed. By this time, after four caches on a damp day, my pants were covered in mud and damp through. My feet were as well, they even went all pruney. Ahh winter caching.
Thanks for the cache, it's a good one!
IN: Platypus Keyring
OUT: Insect Repellant!

Arrived here late afternoon to chill out after a hard day at college [|)]. After reading the other logs realised it was ok to proceed. Walked directly up to the cache direction wise so appear to have missed all the main focal points mentioned above...the kids could have done with the bench to rest their weary legs...bless!!
Anyway managed to claim what we were after...the Geocoin so that we too can have a nice gold coin sign on our 'user stats'[^][^]!!
This made up for the dissapointment of been beaten at FTF with 'Green Acres'...your just too quick for us Varuna !

Found it at 5.30pm – at the first I hesitated to go thru the gates as it appeared to be the private property, however after read the logs, it seems okay to go ahead. It was more and hard walking exercise than Huff ‘n’ Puff – I think it was great and do us good! TN, L: key ring and Geocoin. Thanks for great exercise, bushland and the hunt, The Cache Rangers.
Found this one on the way into Perth. It does appear to be private property but no one complained as we walked thru the gates besides some of the animals. Loved the walk as we were way overdue for some exercise and the views from the lookout are worth it.

This is one of the better caches we have done. It has all the elements that we consider make a good cache. Great location,Great walk, something that you would not know existed except by being told and makes you put some effort into finding the location(but when you get there its easy to find). We enjoyed doing this and the walk isnt too hard if you take your time. We had a few slips on the muddy paths but did'nt fall. Since we had Mini TB with us we considered this (as it hasnt been visited much yet)to be a good location to place it.We took the Small tin to put in some other cache we visit. We were'nt sure what to make of the kangaroo hint but it did become obvious to us during the walk. We know this cache will get a few new visitors this weekend so the fist one in gets the TB.
This morning was just about as perfect a day for caching that anyone could wish for, though some heavy rain did arrive later in the morning. After arriving at about 8.30am, I walked to the end of the road, where it looked like private property, so turned around and began the walk back, but one of the locals assured me that it was ok to go through, and that it was the correct pathway. The walk up to the cache was invigorating, to say the least - I hadn't noted the difficulty and terrain stars. Not the hardest walk that I've ever had, but difficult enough for my old soft legs. The kangaroo track was easy to spot - good one Mel. The cache was easy to find, though the satellite signals were a little shaky. T: Car freshener, L: 3 mtr tape. Thanks for the cache (FTF) and the exercise.
