Thanks to all those who managed to find this one over the years, time to let this area open up for a new challenge perhaps.

28-May-18
So, we wandered up to look for WP3 today, and very weirdly, it is gone, or, moved a hell of a lot. I'll manufacture a new one soon and put back into place as soon as I can.

20-May-18
Returned to finish this one after learning of my mistake at one of the waypoints (thanks Snoop8989 for your help). After a long search at the newly calculated GZ the cache was found. WP3 is missing, luckily I remembered the number from previous attempt. A fun cache in a great location.

20-May-18
I believe WP3 is missing. I returned to complete this one with kids and after finding WP3 last year I knew what i was looking for and where to look but could not locate it

06-Oct-17
Well I'll add my name to the long list of DNFs. This was really frustrating as I know I had the correct information. Altaire suggested I complete this seeing we were in the area for another cache. They had found this some 11 years ago. After an initial error, it was obvious to me that my GZ was not correct so I checked one particular location and found the correct numbers. The maths was simple enough and off we went to GZ which Altaire vaguely remembered. Here, they double checked my maths and we were all in agreement that the numbers were correct, but try as we might we could just not locate any cache. They did remember that when they found it it wasn't hard to find so not sure what has gone frustratingly wrong today. Past logs, now seem to mention that the coords could be out and many seemed to have expanded their search. Again Altaire didn't seem to think that the coords were out. We would sure like to know what went wrong and if the cache has suffered some sort of cache creep or if we really were just blind.

Streak Day #1501 - Up this way with dave8153 once again to try and complete this one. We searched and searched and realised the error we had made so did the calculations went to GZ looked and looked then expanded our search to finally discover the cache. TFTC

20-Aug-17
Came up here again today with Snoopy1976 and Investigated WP1 more throughly and came up with a different answer again. Did the calculations and made our to that location and started looking around. And after about 10 mins came up with the find. TFTC

14-Aug-17
TRIumph at last. It was a day of threes. It took 3 visits, 3 attempts at calculating GZ, about 3 hours in total, 3 visits to the "one" spot where we could "get it wrong," three dozen scratches on our legs as we searched GZ. In the end we had to rely on a maf (message a friend) to check our coords, and we received a detailed reply which mentioned a certain shape in the rocks - and soon after we found the cache hiding in its little "cave."
"Was it worth it?" The hardest games of footy (or any sport) are remembered by how tough the game was. The same applies to caching. Thanks for the challenge. TFTC

After the DNF last week, a paf pointed me in the right direction of wp3 whereabouts. Of course that was where I had repeatedly looked! Today I had been out caching with WaywardWoman and we headed here on the way home. With WP3 info (yes I had looked there last week but it must have been invisible that day!), I put all the info together and headed to where I thought GZ to be. WW mentioned they weren't the coords when she did it 5 years ago... hmmm. Anyway to GZ we went. Looked and looked and looked!! WW made a paf phone call to the CO. They were in the area...kind of... and would head over as a cache check was on the agenda anyway. When they arrived i told them all my WP info, and was told i might want to check it again! So with me leading the way it was back to the beginning and starting from scratch. Strange searching with the CO looking on! Ah OK now I know where I went wrong - very clever. Sat nearby and re did my coords to GZ. Once again I headed on. I was still being followed. Close to GZ, a bouncy phone GPS had me shaking my head. Plants had grown up, branches had fallen down. Thankfully the CO was there to guide me through the maze. Still watching me make my way closer and closer... Finally i was there. A bit of a look around and spotted the cache. Signed the log and the cache was returned to its home, waiting for the next persistent cacher to find.

This multi was one of the most frustrating but also amazing caches I have done. Frustrating was obvious, but amazing were the views and the birds i managed to photograph on this journey. A fav from me. TFTC Team Webguy

06-Aug-17
We found WP1, WP2 and WP3 last week. WP3 was very tricky. However, our GZ coords were a kilometre away. Fortunately, the CO confirmed that we were way off. Today, we had another look at one of the WPs and made a correction, which gave us GZ nearby. Bewdy. But after spending about 30 minutes searching we came up empty handed. We went home feeling very depressed. Fortunately, GWS won today which made Dan feel better. Thanks anyway.

31-Jul-17
We found the info at WP1 and 2 quiet easily. Then on to WP3. An obvious spot, revealed nothing. We clambered around looking at lots of things, trying to make sense of the hint. A couple of muggles turned up, so we sat around for a few minutes. Then they left. We had another look at the "obvious" spot, whilst lying on my back. Something that was dislodged before was turned over to reveal the number. Dan returned this "natural item", to its correct spot. Now the calcs. About a kilometre away. This doesn't sound right. We'll check with the CO. We'll keep you posted on our progress. Great views and great fun, so far. TFTC

17-Jul-17
Been here a few times but had a wp wrong. Finally found it. And a great spot. Found on 28/6/17.

08-Jul-17
It's a perfect day for geocaching .. in the bush !!!
We found the WP1 and WP2 easily. The WP3 was a bit harder but coco found the good number.
After few math the GZ will be at 900m for there, not possible. We came to the WP1 and took the other numbers. Now the final point is more possible (the hint confirm that). But at GZ nothing. We turn arround turn arround but nothing. Is the cache still here ?
Thank's for all view from the lookout.

24-Jun-17
I'll add my name to the list of DNFs. No idea what I was looking for at waypoint 3, so will be back again another day.

31-Dec-16
Despite a slight slip up, found all the way points with what is assumed to be the correct coordinates (lead us to a nearby location) but could not find the cache after an hour of searching. Checked a solid 30m perimeter around the coordinates given but no luck will attempt again if someone else finds.

31-Dec-16
Was with murf. Got waypoint 3 (nice one btw) no luck with the cache after an hour gave up. I really want this one if owner can confirm it's still there or someone else finds. Good one all the same.

11-Dec-16
WOW, how much has this lookout changed since we were here last time! Some serious money has been spent building a whole new lookout area.

I was worried when I saw how much work had been done here, but no, the waypoint in question is safe, was not even a challenge to find. All good, easy to find.

08-Nov-16
I'll try and get up the mountains this weekend if the weather is kind. Not going to check on that WP if it is/has been raining lol

17-Aug-16
As per my DNF log - waypoint three appears to be missing / buried. CO check required, even if to prove we're all blind.

17-Aug-16
The Geowife is having morning tea with a mutual friend, so I decided to head way out west for a few caches. Decided on another return visit to Lapstone and Glenbrook. Went for eight and found seven - although the first one took a while and was followed by the DNF on a multi. The good news was I got home before peak hour.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I noted that this hasn't been found in 12 months, but this is one of three caches here that I was targetting, so decided to give it a try anyway.
No problem with waypoints one and two, but at waypoint three I couldn't find anything.

There has been work done here recently, and the area indicated by the iPhone has some fill. So if it is still here it may well be buried.
Cache / waypoint check required.

29-Jul-16
Found the first two markers easily and the third was a struggle couldn't find possible because of construction going on. Possibly need a check up on the third waypoint? Beautiful sights though!
Kinda disappointed that there haven't been any updates since almost a year ago

28-Aug-15
A visit a week back to Darkes Common and a walk along the TRIView tracks led to a PAF to the CO who took the 'mushroom in hand to resolve some dismay - and to indicate a needed correction.

Back again today to fix the correction ... calculate. Well, that cannot be difficult. An easy walk to the 'GZ' ...

Suffice to say, there are none so blind that cannot see ...

13-Jun-15
#300 found on the way up for an afternoon caching to go to Valley Heights with alnic39. Decided that this would be an appropriate one for my 300th find, especially with the name of TRI.
This was the 4th time I had come here for this one. The first time got info for WP1 & WP2 then it started to rain when I got to WP3 so left. Then came back to WP3 and worked out where WP3 was but it had been drizzling most of the morning so didn't feel like looking and saw a snake nearby went to get my camera but it had gone when I got back. One of my details was wrong so 3rd attempt was with ani-del & celtical & Noodles22 got the WP1-3 this time & worked out GZ then the 4 of us started looking but ran out of light.
Came back today went to the next level and as I was walking past spotted what I wanted to see. This took a while but it was well worth it. Thanks for the hunt

10-Jun-15
Second attempt and victory is mine! A clue in the photos made it easier to locate than the bouncy GPS! Wink TFTC

06-Jun-15
Met up with Ani-del & Noodles22 to go looking for a few mountain caches. Turned out Noodles22 had picked up another cacher Pete & brought him to join the fun.

Well after two finds we thought we'd give this one a go too. Talk about sneaky waypoints!
We found them all, but even with 4 of us swarming around GZ no luck with finding the cache. Eventually daylight beat us & we had to call it a day.

I'll be back................ sometime...........

06-Jun-15
Visited with Celtical, Noodles22 (who rudely refused to make a date to revisit Madness, apparently that only needs to be done once!) and Pete.

Found all the waypoints with help from Noodles22 (WP1 would've been troublesome otherwise but then I should've counted on a Webguy hint never being straight forward!) Unfortunately darkness caused our surrender prior to finding the cache. I'll be back, hopefully Monday... With more daylight to spend.

09-May-15
Returned today to put an end to the grief I gave myself last time upon lack of finding the prize. With only the info of someone making the find a further 10m away from GZ. Ran through all the way points to double check my calculations and yep, all matches. Still took some time before geosense kicked in and found a trail, thanks Team Webguy

15-Mar-15
While waiting for Team Canary and bisygisy to arrive for a group attempt at Madness, I decided to have yet another go at finding this one. I collected all the numbers, and did the calculations just to find a different set of coordinates than the previous times I tried. They were wrong anyway.
Bisy had a laugh at my expense then gave me a hint of where I went wrong. Back to that waypoint again to get the right number, recalculate a different set of coordinates not far off my first. Still wrong!
By this point Canary arrived so we set off for our journey.
I reached the top on our return way before the others so I had another go at calculating the final, and found my mistake.
However that was the easy bit. The undergrowth at gz had grown a lot and satellite coverage was poor. With a call to Webby to describe the location, it was still like searching blind through the scrub to find it.
Eventually the cache was found, about 10m away from where my gps wanted me, but it wasn't as bad a spot as where I was first looking.
Thanks for the cache.

09-Jun-14
Finally found WP3, quit tricky, but in the end were I looked before, just didn't expect this kind of method. So with all the numbers complete I worlked out GZ. Mmm not very logical, almost 900 m away? Well no checker, so lets give it a go. After a hard bushbah ended up at the bottom of a creek in the middle of nowhere, more a bad man spot, but no cache. I think wich number is not correct so I have to revisit WP1 and have another good look.

09-Apr-14
Second visit here and after finding all relevant info at waypoints, something was wrong, read the hint and understood it. So back again to a certain WP and spied what I needed.
GZ calculated and off I went with a spring in my step, I'll have this multi all sorted.
Arrived and climbed up and down for what seamed an eternity, well over an hour at least.
Tried to contact previous finders but all too late, home I go.
Didn't plan on a third visit as i might need confirmation on my coords. I'm sure I have the right GZ but have been wrong in the past. TFTH Webguy

08-Mar-14
Gathered the info for WP1&2, but at WP3, everything went pear shape.
Laid on my back to shimmy into a position, looked in tubes, trees, rocks for 30mins without luck.
With no PAF's, truly struggled.
Amazing sight is to watch the loco's navigate the bend below, well worth the price and a must for the kids.
TFTH.

03-Feb-14
Finally found it on our fifth attempt with some help from the co - tftc

03-Feb-14
God. This cache has been a constant and steady work-in-progress between myself and iker1995. All three WP's had some degree of trickery to them that had us stumped, and even the final find had us guessing (although beating around at 10:30pm with a phone rather than a GPS is probably why). What else can I say but I expect nothing less from Webguy (or was the Badman at play here? Was he even around in 2004?) and all in all this was an extremely enjoyable multicache for me. A nice bit of climbing and required some sharp searching at times, what more can I say but TFTC.

01-Feb-14
OK, new WP is in place, a more natural one from our garden. Game back on, this cache celebrates 10 years later this year if memory serves me right.

01-Feb-14
Visited today, and once again the film canister is gone. Seriously, if it was put back where it belonged, it would never go missing. Checked on cache, cache is good, working on a new more natural WP. Should be back online soon.

22-Jan-14
Looks like the film canister has gone once again, will get up there soon to sort this one out again.

14-Dec-13
I finally completed it. Found it to be one of the most of the most difficult multi caches I have completed. Wp 1 I had to be told where it was at an event and was probably a difficulty 4. One of the other wp had a few tricks to it. You look you see immediately but it ain't what you want. Put the coords together but with the terrain 2 I thought their had to be a mistake. Looked for about 30mins not getting the gz closer then 12. Sent the coords I had off to the co but a non-informative response came back. As I am currently homeless I have been camping here a couple of times a week so eventually reworked it all. Got the same result so today I went downwards further then at other times. Sure enough the cache turned up, but Santa Claus was lying at the opening. Thanks for the adventure. Maybe. Tftc tnln.

03-Dec-13
Got the WPs okay but will have to wait a bit and work out a way to GZ

30-Oct-13
Had a quick wander around this one today to make sure all was well. Updated the colour of the structure as it has indeed been changed, all WP's are still intact and correct, cache is where it should be. Added the standard hint, to the hint.

29-Oct-13
It is looking ok for this area in relation to the fires, parks and reserves have been re-opened, game on til something changes.

21-Oct-13
As parks and reserves are now closed, regardless of where this is, disabled til conditions improve.

13-Oct-13
Couldn't find wp 3 and looks like all finds in the last 2 years have required the co help.

13-Oct-13
Well that was just a cache of 1 trick after another. Found wp 3 after some more info. Had to research beyond the visible numbers at wp1.
Couldn't find a brown structure am guessing it is now green with a fresh coat of paint.

The coords I had put me about 20m below a lookout but on that terrain was a lot further. Looked for about an hour before the wind was making it too dangerous.

Overall it had too many tricks but will still contact the cache owner for some more info before deciding if I want to come back again.

30-Jun-13
Went for a cache but the numbers I got don't add up to anything nearby. Will need to re check the numbers and do the math again. Ran out of light today to continue on. Will be back another day to claim this one.

29-Jan-13
Well, lost track of the number of visits to the lookouts trying to work out where we had gone wrong.... The waypoints were easy enough to get to, and the math was simple, but we were missing something. It just didn't make sense, no matter how many times we varied the combinations and came up with different GZ's - 8 in fact, and none were that close, but Webby confirmed that that spot wasn't right anyway!
Crap!! So back to check it all once again! However, this time we managed a 9th GZ and it was very much in the area! A short walk later, we had the cache! Thank God!! SL, TNLN, although wanted to take the cache and relocate somewhere and make Webby go find it, but didn't... Replaced cache to its nice hidey spot and left the lookout happy and with another smiley face. TFTC.

14-Oct-12
Film canister is back in play. Game on.

13-Oct-12
The film canister has gone rollies. Offline till I replace.

13-Oct-12
Knocked off another Glenbrook hide, even if it took the CO to come out for us to find it Wink. We started looking for all the waypoints and thought we were going pretty well until WP3. Rang the CO (for the first time) and got a firmer spot to look in. Looked there and after the geodad had what the CO consequently called a 'guy look', we decided it wasn't there.

Another ring to the CO, which resulted in "I'll be there in 15". And so we waited, and in fact it wasn't there, and our WP1 was wrong as well. So, back to WP1, and all I can say is "Grrr" Razz. Then to find a cache the CO had forgotten the location of...

Firstly Webby and the geodad just fossiked around and no cache. Meanwhile I crunched some numbers that Webby had thrown at me for the missing WP, which he had also conveniently forgotten [B)]. One had us 50m up the way so we tried that, nope too dangerous there. The other had us much closer to where we were, so we sent the geodad down. He found it, luckily [^]. Then I followed with a pen and we were out of there.

So, definitely your most horrible for me so far Webby, but TFTC Big Grin

13-Oct-12
I thought I would do TRIView and keep my four remaining ramble caches spare. Did Waypoint 1, Waypoint 2 without any trouble. Waypoint 3 seemed a little out so we contacted the CO and we were set straight. I looked and looked and I could see where it should have been. My two geosons had a go too and nothing was to be found. The cannister was definately missing. We waited around until the CO turned up and he established it was missing too. Then the interesting part started. We reworked out WP1 as we didn't have the correct details and then went looking for GZ. After looking in quite a few locations we thought about where it should be. Then azazzlenic had tried a couple of different calculations based on the suggested values of WP3 we then located the cache. Though I had forgotton a pen and azazzlenic had to come down too. So it was a very interesting/enjoyale way to do a multi. TFTC .

13-Oct-12
Was with my geofamily. I helped with trying to find WP3. TFTC. [?]

13-Oct-12
Nice walk all around the waypoints, couldn't find waypoint 3 so my geo-dad and geo-sis seeked help from the cache owner. TFTC. Smile

18-Mar-12
DNF (did not finish)? Had a great walk over to all the WP's. WP1 and WP2 no problem( I think), but WP 3 I came up emptyhanded despite the clue what to look for?
Enjoyed the views this early in the morning.
Thanks sofar Wilbert67

10-Mar-12
After we found that our worked out coords, we found something else and they made more sense.

Worked through the 3 waypoints and came up with 2 potential sets of coordinates for th GZ. We tried the first set but when we got there we read in the description that we were to be patient as we could be viewed from 3 directions. Second set led us to someone's yard. Contacted CO who was very prompt to reply but a bit vague. It ended up that the first place we looked was right. I guess the comment about being patient was being a bit sarcastic. Great swag. Fantastic views. TFTC

13-Feb-12
Walked and checked this entire cache tonight while I was up here.

None of the WP's have any issues and the construction work does not affect any of the WP's. Care should be taken at that particular view due to the repairs being made to the fence near where you get the numbers from the pole.

12-Feb-12
Work going on here, may need to re-jig some maths it seems.

12-Feb-12
Way back in March 2010, the family and I started this one. Bikerbuddy and the boys had the opportunity to get back and correct the problems they'd had and finally finish it. But, what with work and other things, I never had the chance. So last week, I went back to do the calculations and complete it. WP1 was easy this time, but it was WP2 that proved to be a bit of an issue. Just when I thought I had done it all correctly, I got to what I thought was GZ to find, well, grass and not much else. Didn't seem like a Webby hide. So home I came, feeling dejected that I couldn't work it out on my own.
I checked my calculations with bikerbuddy's original ones, which he still had and found WP2 to be the issue(will contact the CO about this). Once recalculated, I decided, on the first dry day to head out there.
I went straight to GZ and yes, this was more of a Webby hide! Found immediately-co-ords were spot on, as you'd expect from him.
Great views of the gorge! I sat and contemplated-my life, the universe and everything. The first day starting with sunshine for so long, so I savoured the moment, sitting on a rock, enjoying the serenity.
Thanks Webby, I thoroughly enjoyed this one, and the best thing was, I did it on my own!

02-Dec-11
Fablous views - and we got to see them more than once!
I suspect we made the same errors as others at a certain way point. When we got to the end of the clues, and did our calculations, our GZ was way too far away. Most of our answers we were quietly confident of, but one stood out - back we went.
Further searching revieled some more numbers that we tried, but were not completely happy with. In the end Cat's eagle eyes spotted what we had missed.
A short walk (much shorter than our first calculation), and the cache was soon in Pprass's hands.
Great lookouts across the valleys.
Thanks, Robmc.

We did find this one a bit trying! on our final day in the beautiful Blue Mountains area with Pprass and Robmc. We loved the views, but cursed the deviousness of this Multi.

TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Team Webguy.

02-Dec-11
Found at 11.25am GAFF3 in the company of Phetlern and Robmc. Yep - we got caught by being too blaze with the clues. We loved the scenery and the hunt and trying to work out where the "trick" was. A nice bush multi.
Thanks Team Webguy.
Feedback: Not sure that the hint is adding anything to what we already know and the brown structure is no longer brown, but it is the biggest man made structure around.

27-Nov-11
After some head scratching pjmpjm and I finally were able to put this one to rest. We thought we had the required information, but after some double checking and some further searching for the elusive data all became clear and we headed for the final destination.
The cache was found with little trouble and is in great condition.
Thank you for a great day out, loved the view from all the waypoint and the final location.

27-Nov-11
rogerw3 and I finally returned to Dark's Common to finish the work we started on October 16th.

However, we first checked in at one of the WPs to clarify our information!

In the end, apart from requiring a bit of a scramble, the hide was found to be relatively reasonable . . .

All was in good order.

TNLNSL.

We agreed that not many geocachers are going to find this one on the first try, unless they have inside information -- or a degree of clairvoyance!

Lots of fun in a very nice place, with great views over the Nepean.

Many thanks to Team Webguy.

21-Nov-11
Well that was a lot harder than it needed to be Smile

I started off last Thursday making the same mistake pretty much everyone else has made. On Friday evening I came back again and made what I suspect may be some unique mistakes which resulted in some fairly strenuous hiking. On the weekend I got a bit of encouragement from the CO so came by again this afternoon and finally came up with a sensible set of co-ords that looked easy to get to. For some reason I decided I wanted a bush bash anyway so diverted to another nearby cache before making the assault on GZ. 60 minutes later I was back on task and had the cache on hand soon after. I was actually sprung by a muggle couple as I was reentering the track so I gave them a big grin and headed off to my car with a large sense of accomplishment. I've found this both frustrating and a lot of fun so thanks Team Webguy - this is now a favorite.

17-Nov-11
I stopped by late this afternoon and managed to find all 3 waypoints and came up with a GZ which seemed reasonable but was a bit of a hike. As it was getting dark, I decided to try to collect the cache on another visit. On reading some of the logs below though, (and a closer reading of the description) I have a suspicion I may not have the right location anyway.

16-Oct-11
After a long afternoon caching pjmpjm and I were somewhat tired and after gathering all the information required we both calculated the final coords and independently came up with the same result. However we decided to come back another day to find the cache as Cappuccinos were needed at this stage to revive us.
We will be back.

16-Oct-11
Successfully found all the waypoints together with rogerw3 during an afternoon of trig hunting (and geocaching) in the lower Blue Mountains.

Lots of beautiful views around here! This multi was our last attempt of the day.

However, in the end, we decided that it was getting late and we were both tired. A nice cup of cappuccino seemed to be a good idea, and we left our carefully calculated GZ coordinates to follow up on another day . . .

25-Aug-11
This morning 92nty6 and I thought we would do a few caches in the Glenbrook area. This multi was the first we attempted and after reading the cache listing thought this will not take us very long. That was our first mistake, don’t take a Team Webguy cache, especially a multi, too cheaply!!

Flew through WPs 1, 2 and 3, did the required calculations which placed GZ about 850 meters down over a very steep and deep cliff. Maybe we could be wrong, checked the sums, still came up with the same answer. Mmmmmmmm

OK, lets got over the WPs again and see where we went wrong. So back over the track and after checking all WPs we changed the our minds on one of the WPs data, recalculated GZ and away we went, happy we were on the right track this time. WRONG!! After scouring our new "GZ" for quite some time, we sat down to see where we could have gone wrong. A blank!! In desperation it was phone the CO for some assistance. YOUR KIDDING!!

For the third time we covered the same ground to check WPs. You sneaky bugger Team Webguy!! We fell into you devious trap, well and truly!!

With new data collected, sums completed off we went again to cover the track for the third or fourth time ( by this time faculties were diminishing, so not quite sure ).

GZ was located after about 2 hours (remember this was NOT going to take very long), log signed and pictures taken. This was a case of us turning a Difficulty 2 1/2 cache into a Difficulty 4.

Cache all very secure and in good order.

Tks ... Team Webguy ... GazMag

Caching with Garry today, and only one GPS between the two of us.
As my GPS is out of action [=(]
After travelling this path 3 times more than what we should have, and the assistance of a PAF, we finally worked out where we went wrong and soon had CIH
Thanks for the cache Team Webguy.

This was my first cache for today, in my effort to find all of the ones in this area.

I have to confess that I was given some help with one of the waypoints for this one, so I had a slightly easier time of it than some of the other finders. But possibly as punishment for this, I had a horrible time finding WP3, I'm sure I looked in the spot it eventually turned up in at least 3 times before I found it, as well as looking in every other possible hiding spot at that damn lookout!

After I'd finally unearthed WP3 the calculations were easily made & I set off for GZ. My GPSr was jumping around everwhere today, so eventually I just left it sitting on a rock with my backpack & went looking in likely spots without it. Finally found the hiding spot & returned to collect the GPSr. By the time I got back to GZ, it had settled down & pointed me straight to where I already knew the cache was Smile.

Sat down to admire the view, and took the time to brush most of the sand & dirt I'd collected back at WP3 off me Big Grin.

Took the TB.

Thanks Webguy, I enjoyed this one.

Our 3rd attempt finally saw this one knocked over. Pieced the grey matter together with Wackydo & Eaviate for this last and successful attempt. We quickly identified our mistakes from previous visits. Coupled with the right info away we went and before long had the prize at hand. Very, very sneaky hide!

Tried this 236 days ago according to my iPhone and knew then we had messed up some part of the coordinates. Came back today with a group of geofamily and geodog armed with a bit of intelligence that altered the final waypoint to a somewhat more realistic position. Dropped off Travel Bug Fanny to continue the journey. TFTC.

An easy find!! ......on the third go! First tried this nearly a year ago with eaviate, ended up near the National Park entrance, and was always going to come back to it. Then last Sunday came with my brother Bruwstera and ended up within walking distance but couldn't find the cache. Was moaning in another log whilst rejoicing that I'd found their cache that day. They wrote back and gave me the needed hint. Back today with Bruwstera and eaviate and wackydo!! - we found it...easy peasy. Reflecting we should have taken more notice of everyone's logs...things are not as they seem. But you get sucked into the first thing you notice...tricky! Thanks Webguy for a nasty cache. I'm glad I've got this one ticked off my list of ones to do.

Did the forgotten railway cache nearby earlier but back to do the multi. After finding all waypoints numbers and completing the maths, it lead me elsewhere and even when I knew this didn't seem right I still followed my wrong coordinates hope that I could be right. Although I was wrong it was a interesting adventure. Then returning back to the waypoints, I thought to myself this is the webguy, there must be a catch, surely I have got something wrong. Yes I found my mistake and later found the cache. Very tricky very sneaky but also very cool. Left water pistol took turtle and many photos along the way. Tftc and the unplanned adventure, webguy!

With this being my first attempt at this multi, JAB's lead the way to the WP's to collect the needed info. (not really sure how many times he has been here but he knew where all the WP's were, what info was needed and even the film canister wasn't a problem) Back to the car and did some math's. Came up with a location but it just didn't seem to be right. Redone the math's, still not right.
A phone call was made and a small amount of help was given. That proved to be of little assistance so back to the WP's to double check the numbers.
This time the error in our observations was discovered and we soon had a set of co-ords that looked to be right.
A short walk later and the cache was found.
A very good multi. The echo of the train horns, before they enter the tunnel, in the night is awesome.

JABs.

Ok this cache needs more then a TNLNSL, but that was some payback on a very well thought out cache. I will now be at a loss as what to do when visiting the lower Mountains, as I enjoyed spending time at this lookout. If you asked me in the street I could possibly tell you the answer to each waypoint from the top of my head.
What I can say is there are great views to be had here at Sunrise from the East and some great colours can been seen in the west as the sun sets. During the night there are the city lights to been seen in the distance. Stop and listen to different sounds that echo up from the gully as the trains enter the tunnel and on a Hot summers day if the wind is just right the sounds of Kids playing in the gouge below.
Thanks Webby this will teach me to look outside the square.

I'm trying to catch up on past logs today. I've let 140 caches pass without logging them. So I can't say anything specific about your cache. I'm only 10 years old, and while I love caching, I sometimes like doing other things rather than logging my finds when I get home. Sorry. Thanks for putting your cache out for me to enjoy.

Finally found with bikerbuddy after having problems with one of the waypoints on the first day

Okay, so I found it. Thankyou Gamma Dei for offering to help, but as I said, I think a cache should be doable without help and if you follow the clues correctly. For others looking for this cache, be careful at the waypoints if you have any doubts. This can be a straight forward multi-cache but you have to be careful. Once I went back and checked, I found why I was getting the wrong result fairly easily and I walked straight to the cache.

Found like most others after some thought and double checking. Enjoyed the views and was reminded to take my time when picking up clues and not to rush. Took the photo frame so I could fit in Skippy the Kangaroo TB. Also took Geotalk CD
Left TB Skippy the Kangaroo. He will enjoy the bush setting.TFTC

Found at last with Mrs BilgeWater. Sometimes you just have to sit down, think and come back later. The description said frustrating and it certainly was right on that point. Relief at last. Took a little toy snake and left floaty fish for the fish tank. Also SpinDoc geocache CD. TFTC

Found all waypoints without a problem. Did my calculations which put GZ in an inaccessible spot off in the National Park, so I figured again which gave me a more logical spot but again no cache. Mrs BilgeWater and I looked in every crevice, nook and cranny but still no luck.
There is some evil at work here but we'll be back.

Found today - after careful reading of the logs I knew where others had been led astray and managed to not get tricked. Took a little cat and left a little turtle. Not sure that the terrain at GZ is a 2. The geoboy had to remain on the rock platform and watch on as superdad did the retrieval. Ta for a nice little stroll - we all enjoyed that one.

Just logging TB trough from previos find.

Finally found this one on the 3rd attempt. Went out this way for a birthday breakfast and thought we'd give it another go. The views in this area are amazing, and despite needing multiple attempts it was well worth it. TFTC

My 2nd attempt as I could not get it last week. The clues are tricky but Karen found it today. Happy Birthday Karen. Took mini photo frame, left Aussie signs keyring. Thanks for the cache and presenting me with some beautiful views.

At last, my 500th cache, so glad it was this cache.
You are an EVIL, BAD man Webby. So that was the problem, no wonder I couldn't solve it first time, mmmmm!
I tryed to do the cache as per my first attempt, but with no luck, until..........
Thank you phone a friend, you pointed out Webby's evilness, as did Team Canary earlier today, I just didn't take their hints seriously enough
Thanks Webby, oh how sneaky you are....left some cycling event patches,SL.
PS the container at wpt3 had fallen out, probably from the strong winds of late, so I replaced it back from whence it had come.

Second find of the day after trying last weekend with Corell Amboshler to find the cache unsuccessfully after being led astray twice by WP1 - tricky one!
Finally returned with the right co-ords to jump off a few rocks and crawl around before locating GZ.
Brilliant multi, Webguy makes it a good challenge!

3rd attempt and finally found it, very challenging and I can see why everyone is calling you "very"!!!!! "sneaky"!!!! TNLN SL thanks heaps for the cache

After 4 hrs of checking and re-checking and driving to places we were obviously not supposed to be driving to, we've decided to give in for the day and to read all the logs. Thanks for showing us this spot, hopefully we will log a "found it" soon!!!

Went back today. My seven year old could get WP3. Also checked WP1 and found the right number. Very sneaky.

Found GZ easily enough.

TNLNSL.

Found WP1, I hope!?! Found WP2. Tried to find WP3 but the failing light beat me. I shall return.

16-Jan-09
Found this one with some extended family support. WP1 tricked us a lot, but we finally triple checked it and Bingo! Found the cache! It's full of treasures at the moment. Took screwdriver, left santa.

The first wpt at the power pole yielded two three digit numbers...so I used the most obvious ones, at least to me, found wpt2 easy enough, and wpt3 was a sneaky lowdown trick, but was soon in hand.
The brown object in question is now mostly green after a new paint job, after doing the required math with the obvious numbers from wpt1, it was a short walk to the possible GZ, no luck here, could the second set of numbers from wpt1 be the go? That would put GZ a fair way away in the National Park.....mmmmmm? After a short drive to confirm this I admitted defeat...

This has been a work in progress for a while now. My son and I did all the work up to WP3. With some muggles deciding to set up a picnic we abandoned our search.

A couple of months later we were back, with the whole family and mate Chippym.

With some words of wisdom ringing in my ears from the hider chuckling how sneaky he was it was worth starting from the start and checking everything. Chippym's keen eyes picked up something we missed first time round. After a leisurely walk around the cliff walking track we found everything we needed, did the maths and whooa, what do you know.. a cache.

This is a nice easy walk and good views in different directions. Definitely worth coming out and doing if you are in the area. TNLNSL. Cheers mate.

Got to love the multi caches ! Keeps you thinking ! Headed off just before lunch with Rikki and family abd found the clues along the way with out too much drama. Then we headed off for the cache and once in the vicinity managed to find it pretty quickly. Thanks ! Good one ! TNLN.

Last time Dad and I was here there was a couple meditating at WP1. We didn't finish it, but this time, with our whole family we did. I liked the walk through the bush.

A good walk around the bush. Thanks for the cache. No swaps today.

Found all the clues, solved the puzzle. Decided to leave the final part until I get my Parks pass on the car which I can now do as I have finally registered it in NSW.
