Cache needs to be checked as a lot of work has been done around the tree recently. So much leaf litter and branches cut down, I think it has been removed by workers, all I could find was a busted pen. Good luck.
A quick stop here as we have had this one on the map for a while to clean up. Quite a few muggles playing on the park but luckily this one is hidden from their mugglely view. Lol. Thanks Red Dwarf and zactyl, for placing the 465th cache we've found so far!
Today is a special day for me as I am aiming for my 5000th find.
But first I need to a couple of caches to get those numbers just right.
So with IolantheK we stopped to find this one.
We parked the car and soon after we realised we were on the wrong side of the creek.
But wait...there is a bridge. And then back down the other side of the creek and a quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

A big day out planned for today, with a paddle, and a hill climb and an Event... [^] It was an early start for me coming from north Brisbane, as I met up with Brother Colin southside before 7am He needed a couple more finds to get the numbers right for his milestone, so we called at this one on our way south. We thought we had a good access point but the creek was a tad difficult. Some comments were thrown around like "build me a bridge!" and look at that, I found one Another wander and we zeroed in on the hide. TFTC, zactyl.
This was a cool little spot today, after a stroll in the beaming sunshine.
I managed to find the cache without sliding down the bank which is always a bonus!
Thanks for the cache.

Went on a half day run, to revisit a few areas that I had either missed caches at or failed to find. Some top caches found, really enjoyed this little run. I was actually "kid free" on the day, which for me, was a bit of a miracle. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

I had to do this one, as it is the name of my 4 month old Grand Daughter. I know, crazy huh. I have a 2yo of my own.... Nice location here too. TFTC.

Found on a chilly early morning wander... A nice little spot and geohusband soon had cache in hand T4TC:)
Our 7th find. Nearly gave up but found it despite a muggle walking a very angry dog that I thought wanted to eat us, but we did it, thanks for the hide
Parked out on the street and headed for GZ. Never knew there was a baseball field out here. On approach two muggles and dogs came up the hill but kept going and didn't look back. Such a cool spot for a cache container. SL and took The Traveling Turtle TB. TFTC zactyl
I had a few spare hours today so I looked on the map for a nice pocket of caches that weren't smiling yet.
Nerang seemed to just suit that specification so I was on M1 and heading down as soon as I could.
I was working on borrowed time by now and was greatful that I found the well discuised cache.
Thanks Zactyl TFTC SL TNLN

It was a good solid hunt. With lots of treasure as a reward. Great cache.
I thought it was actually near the playgrounds, then relished it was more closer to the basketball courts
After a week of hot weather, today's gale force winds were a blessing so we headed out on Geohubby's day off to find a couple of Caches. We headed to this one first and it was a previous DNF of mine due to the num ber of muggles and today we found the area deserted. Awesome for us. We headed over to the spot and found the area nice and dry and spider web free. I wandered along and as I ducked hubby put his hand on the cache. Geez he is fast. Added a butterfly to the stash and logged our names and rehid. We love this area. Thanks CO.
Many Muggles at GZ but we used our super-stealthy skills and grabbed quickly. Found with JJBoards. Thanks.
a stroll in the park to find this one. but then once a GZ stealth was required. TFTC Found with the Hair Bear
We were delighted to look for this one as it gave us our first look at a live baseball game which was taking place nearby. Thankfully all the muggles were too interested watching the game to notice us delving into the park edge. GPS fluctuated a bit but after a few minutes we were in luck. Good hide zactyl. SL TFTC
# 535 Operation Egg Rock. This morning I climbed all the way to the top of Egg Rock, collected what I thought were the two answers to the questions, and the walked all the way back to the car, only to discovere that I had muffed it. I sent an email to a previous finder, because I am not walking back up there, and will now hunt some other caches while I wait for a reply.
A quick and easy find which is good because I have officially given up for the night. There is no chance of getting Egg Rock now, so I am going home to bed.

I think technically baseball is played on a diamond and not an oval hehe... just as a side note. But gorgeous spot. Relatively easy find with Team ProPax. TFTC!
Walking up to the cache area somebody wished us: "happy hunting". Hm, we got trapped we thought but it turned out to be some moving trackables, being saintsmadhouse and her geo daughter. We had little chat and they wished us luck, as they did not find the cache. Nice to meet some people who have the same interests! Well we did find it, it was not the easiest for the day but we managed. TFTC zactyl.
Had a pretty thorough search as GZ and ran out of time so we had to go. As we walked away we ran into a couple of newbie cachers on their way in. Good luck to them! We will be back.
Easy find... wasn't hidden at all, not sure if it is meant to be but there was nothing nearby that might have fallen off either?? My D-Man slid down the embankment on his bottom... nice and brown after that... lol

Whint and Baddal and I parked across the road and a nice stroll across the playing fields towards this one. GPS had me in a likely spot and as everyone else found the fence, I put my hiking boots on and headed a few metres further and around the end. Somehow I ended up standing around as Whint and D Man slid down towards the cache. It was exposed so had to be rehidden a bit better. Signed our names on a blank sheet and rehid. A nice spot here and a lovely walk to and from. TFTC zactyl
It was a nice cache, but I enjoyed my stroll across the baseball field more. I think I may have been an American in a past life . So yeah, I found the cache and signed the log. TN/LN and strolled back to the van soaking up the atmosphere of an empty field [^].
This is my daughters and myself first time at Geocaching.
Have often walked my dog through this park as it so nice, but now it's even better.
If your going to look for this Caching, beware I might be taking the dog for a walk and be looking to see if you are looking too.
Had a blast with our very first find.

Once at GZ, Kaisho53 was all over this one as I searched other spots nearby. There was evidence of recent visits to GZ that triggered a light bulb moment for Kaisho and he moved in for a quick find.

Wet, muddy and slippery this morning but cache is fine! Noone around today. Thanks zactyl
This one has been on my "To Do" list since it was released back in 2004. I just haven't seemed to have had time to get to it.
Today I had some time and made a point of this being the fist for the day.
Pity there was no game in progress. Found the cache easily and read a few logs including the one from the recent muggles. Good to see that they had put the cache back.
Another "oldey" off the list. Thanks Zactyl for the continued maintenance.

The 2nd for the 10-10-10 , but what a wet day!! Was either join the mad crowds shopping or go hunting - no brainer really! The last to log book was found by some good muggles who were looking for base balls - they signed and replaced. Was quite exposed so SL and recovered. TFTC
Think we had the wrong bank but the weather was closing in so had to give it a miss.
Play Ball! But alas I had the park to myself, so a quick find at a pleasant location. L croc. TFTC.
Nice quick find. Enjoyed the smell of the camphor laurel tree - it reminded me of the one in my grandparents back yard that we used to play in as kids. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 0840. Baseball seems to be popular here. No muggles about, so a quick find. Judging by some previous logs, we were lucky to find the right entry point. Our thanks to Red Dwarf and zactyl.
After a day of caching with Fangsoki we grabbed the torches for one last one on the way back east.
It didn't take too long to track down (once we were on the right side of the creek).

After all that rain I found the cache on top of some tree litter not where it should have been. So I signed the log and moved it back up a bit higher than before.... you may want to check this one out a lot of soil has moved in the recent rain.
This one was NASTY seems everything was against me at 1st went around to the wrong side and inadvertently stepped right in the middle of a jumping ants nest, so did a bit of a dance and bit tongue so as not to alert nearby muggles anything was going on untoward. Didn't check the terrain before leaving the car so in my nice girly sandles (thought it was a nice park cache, should have know better) carefully slid down to GZ then had to scrabble around abit in the dirt determined not to allow now raging ant bites to deter me from my goal - finally got the cache - signed log and returned safely to hidey hole - scrambled back out only to find creepy crawley ticks hungerly looking for a free feed madly checked all over for any more erky critters want to take up residence. All in al though it was my fav hide for the day nothing beats a bit of adventure
This one had me doing the GPS circles for a while, until I found the "clue". Still took a while to find though.
Did manage to dispatch of a tick before it found a home though.
Thanks Red Dwarf/Zactyl.

[Why is it so many of us start on the wrong side of the creek? I did too. Then when I saw it was south of me I headed down a very steep descent to the creek where I could see I could cross over. Made it with no slips, thank goodness. Crossed over but then couldn't find my way through the lantana. Had to go back up the steep slope and back around to the other side of the park.] I was glad not to have to bush bash down the hill - only have to go down one small slope from this side. No scratches, or danger from cache location, except do watch for snakes, just in case. On the lower side of a large tree with it's trunk on the top of the bank. [I CITO'd out a couple of bongs left by tree trunk near cache. Do the mother's of these boys notice that their hose is getting shorter?]
Found it without any trouble.
Note that if you are coming on foot from Nerang on McLaren Rd you can get through a public access area that runs through what looks like a horse training area just after you cross the bridge over the Nerang River and this will bring you on to Koola Drive. Cuts out a couple of kms you would otherwise have to take by road.
Took nothing but found a decent cricket ball. It's now sitting on the picnic table if you are quick. Thanks for the cache.

This was a bit of jungle warfare. Glad of the earlier logs. I too started on the wrong bank and also nearly slipped down the bank on all the dust and dry leaves. Found a baseball in the thicket. Got dirty and dusty but made the find and that's the main thing. Not too many visitors to this one and I'm surprised at that but it is not a simple drive by cache.
First find for my Gold Coast Holiday,
GZ was very wet and muddy after all the rain we had, It was not going to stop me finding it, even though I slid down the slope and got up covered in mud. Lucky there is a tap at the nearby park where I cleaned up myself from all the mud.

This cache is in one of the epi-centres of mosquito breeding on the coast. My Geopartner says it should be re-named "mossie madness". They went after her shaved legs instead of fighting through my more hairy legs. GPS led us on a looping circuit for some reason but we found the cache pretty easily. We had not read the log only instruction before we left home so we took nothing, but left a Japanese 10 yen coin. The open nature of the park made us realise that we need to come up with a cover activity so we don't look like 2 people following a GPS unit around!
Nice little cache. Started off on wrong side of creek but soon got on track and found it quickly.

While Maso & geokid #1 were down the bank hunting out the "treasure" a couple of muggles & their muttmuggle wandered by, and wouldn't leave....meaning that Maso was stuck down the bank for a little while...hehehe.....
Found the cache and signed the log.
Stopped for a play on the swings and got swooped by a territorial magpie...so we exited the park very quickly.
Great find on the way back from "Green behind the gold"

I had not realized the GPS was still trying to get a lock.
After all, we had just done one hell of an Evil cache. Google XoE
No lock was the order of the day there..................
So we had a nice tour of the park.
Now 400m that away.......
So a uee and soon 5m away.
I think we saw Big Bek in the park.. Man. Man.. Smurf pointed her out as I was not a local. Also some Nerangatangs. Now you don't get those in crow eater country. Being well south of the border has it's advantages. Well they say anything can happen in Canada
Interesting art work on the cache,. Nice camo (pic).
Like your work!! Clear skies from TeamAstro.
First attempt at finding a cache. Got close to the coordinates but was a little difficult post-flood.
An easy find. Lots of kids playing in the park today. We think we went unnoticed..
It never fails – whenever there is an impassable thing involved (in this case a creek) I always choose the wrong side . After that obstacle was sorted, the rest was easy. The cache was very exposed where it was and I covered it as best I could with local debris after filling out the log. Cheers.
Great cache. Thanks zactyl. Watched some of the Saturday morning T Ball game too. Found with Max and Bev.
A great first family cache find for us. We walked around the outside of the Baseball practice that was underway & our Garmin 60Cx took us right to it. All the family wanted to see the hiding spot & our youngest is 5 yrs. It's a great spot although the way down is getting a little worn which might tempt non Geocachers ?
