I went to drop off a travel bug today in this cache, but sadly it seems that the cache has been removed. I will archive Brick Brick.

Cache seems to have been removed, and thus should be archived.

Great location for a multi. Cache was visible from about 10 metres away, so covered it a bit better when we left.

Found with Shaggy, BigMickB, MissLeah, & Abuse Me after the Geocacher's Picnic.

dropping off TB ALF properly

06-Mar-05
Found this with several others on the way home from the Autumn Picnic. This is a very dog frendly park. Left TB ALF in the cache but no other swaps.

06-Mar-05
Found with others on the way home from the Autumn Picnic. This park seems to be dog friendly although with the amount of dogs around I do not think ours would go to well there.

As the others have mentioned, this was found on the way home from the NSW Geocachers Autum picnic. Found the first WP without too much drama, and then it was a race between Abuseme and myself to beat everyone else to the cache. I eventually won out in the end, but only just. Final cache is obvious when you get near enough. Took the wrist braclet thing, and left a compass/thermometre/keyring. Thanks Ebenezer! Great park for a cache.

Found this one with the other's on the way home from the cachers picnic, a nice park that i've never been too.

Thanks

At 8pm tonight, the homeless dudes camping in the brickworks were a little intimidating. As such, didn't get to WP1. Will get back here on Monday before heading back to Melbourne.

A pleasant sunday afternoon walk in one of our local parks Smile My partner found the S/N, and i spotted the cache proper at the calculated coordinates. Thanks for a fun arvo !

13-Feb-05
A very sunny day for our first multicache! A nice simple one for us amateurs. We were very surprised by the size of the S/N, we didn't know what to expect and were looking for bigger things.
A decent walk from WP1 to GZ, especially with the sun blazing down on us, but we made it, and with good satellite coverage, easily found the cache.
T: Duck, fish stickers and 1 chinese new year envelope.
L: US quarter, QANTAS wallet and a bracelet.
Cache was in clear view, so we covered it a little more. Unlikely that a muggle would be there, but we made it a little less easy to spot.
A great park, especially for doggies!
Thanks Ebenezer!

First of six finds for the afternoon/night. I spent about 20 minutes wandering aound the first waypoint, but couldn't find the sign. A homeless bloke was eying me all the time. I just ignored him, even when I was searching close to where he was sitting. I decrypted the hint, but I had already checked the those objects close to GZ. After 30 minutes the homeless git started hassling me verbally, so I decided to give it a miss. As I escaped in the opposite direction, I spotted the sign! It was 20m away from my GZ, but then again, I was getting EPEs that varied between 5 and 68m!

I did the maths and headed off to the final waypoint. My GPSr was showing 10m to go when I looked down and thought, "That looks suspicious". Bingo! I signed the log at 1720.

IN: Purple highlighter
OUT: AA batteries (that turned out to be dead flat Sad)

The 2nd last day of our Stdney Caching trip and our 1st cache for the day. Great park, interesting buildings, shame about the homeless people urinating right near where we were hunting for WP1.

T - Singapore Keyring
L - Wooden Duck since it is close to the wetlands

Thanks Ebenezer

Third find for the day, saw a great Blue Tounge Lizard just off the path near the cache.

Swapped some Band-aids for some Pot it Notes

I drive past this spot every day to and from work so decided to stop today and have a look. A good fun hunt for a beginner. Thanks Ebenezer.

Fourth of five in the pooring rain at night...
A nice easy find, except for the gail force winds blowing across the open plains... Not the best for kite flying, considering it was dark and pooring down rain...
but on the positive side there was absolutly no one watching me!!

A cache check today revealed that this cache is in good order and well stocked. Thanks to all the finders who have left great swaps.

Found this in two parts either side of a days work at Redfern. Thanks Ebeneezer for a good fun hunt.

16-Oct-04
On the way in to the aquarium and Motor Show with my aunty. There was an "Art and About" festival happening with lots of people at WP1. We definitely needed the clue to find the sign there. After a leisurely walk across the park we found the cache easily. Took Calculator Keyring. Left Calculator. Not much room left now. Thanks Ebenezer. This park is much bigger than I had imagined.

Found this after a few half-hearted and failed attempts... My maths was poor and lead me all around the countryside. Once I got the calculations correct, all was quite easy.

Came across a creepy guy in the bushes with a bike that he's tried to camouflage with tree branches. I suspect he was up to no good and sped off as soon as I stumbled upon him. Perhaps need to be a little bit wary.

Sap covers the top of the container now, but the contents are fine.

There was indeed a festival of some sort happening at WP1. But it was still easy to find the required info and head off to the Cache. Much easier to find than an evening attempt a few days prior when the delinquent children hanging around made it hard to be inconspicuous.
Lovely parkland. Amazing what you can do with an industrial waste dump if you put some effort into it!
No swaps. Thanks for the cache!

Found it with Damo. Took Travel Bug. Left a keyring.

18-Sep-04
Relieved to find this as first cache for the day. Was there last Sunday only to have the GPS fail to find any satellites. A midweek reload of GPS software worked and we found our way to the hiding spot.

14-Sep-04
Just a warning for prospective finders (and possibly the cache owner), this Sunday there is a music festival at this park. Hopefully the cache is in a safe spot.

13-Sep-04
Went to this cache with GeoGuardDog in my lunch again to get TB that was left by The Rats. upon arrival i heard someone in the bushes, Surprised A-ha there was The Reigate Squires trying to hide the cache again.
Left Two Roo's TB for some one else but took Loosy Goosy TB.

Sprung!
For the first time in nearly a year's caching we came face to face with another madman in the bushes. Just as we were replacing this little fellow in its nest, Odee McPodie came bounding through the undergrowth with his four-legged friend, intent on claiming a Travel Bug. As it happened, we had just dropped one off ourselves (Goosey) as well as picking up a party popper. Nice to meet you Odee; see you again on the trail. And thanks Ebeneezer for highlighting this classic bit of urban scrub. (Could be a bit crowded around lunchtimes!)

I'm so glad we found this, after 4 and a half no finds this weekend I was starting to contemplate our geocaching future, at least in the city.

The last time we visited this park was with a bus load of drunken firefighters and their partners heading for Harold Park. We pulled the bus into the service station only to find that they do not have a toilet. It's good to see there was no lasting damage to the vegetation.

As we were driving from the car park I noticed an interesting shop (boutique) across the road but didn't get a chance to photograph it. Perhaps someone else can investigate and write a few words about it? Smile

A nice easy inner suburban cache and as it turns out we werent the first here today. On our way to the circus so it was good to stay nice and clean. TN, but left the a TB. Thanks Ebernzer.

So if those things that make bricks are made of bricks themselves, how did they build the first one?

Interesting area, there is more to see than I expected. Nice big park too.

10-Sep-04
The odds of finding this one are "Stacked", but I'll bet you "London to a brick" you'll find it eventually. I'd driven past this place many times and even seen a movie filmed here, but never bothered to stop. Interesting place.

09-Sep-04
The co-ords at WP1 seemed a little out and the use of the term "sign" was fairly loosely applied I thought.

Nevermind. Nice easy cache in a nice location.

Nabbed this one on my run home, in fastly fading light.

I too have been thinking of planting a cache in this area. The good news is, I probably still can, due to the size of the park Smile

Great spot

Cachers who have been around a while will get a bit of a chuckle out of the cache location. Great park for dogs and geopup enjoyed the mud.

06-Sep-04
Bugger Sad i was hoping to be the second one to this cache. i'm working just on the other side of the park so i did this one with a work mate during lunch. I was going to hide one in the park my self but i was beaten to it.
Nice one Ebenezer.....
