Once again this cache has been violently muggled. There's no point returning it to the same point, so I'll disable it until I can find a new hiding place.
found easily only took about 3 minutes without a gps.Maybe a bit easy to find .
With big thanks to Kiwiharvs for the maintenance, this cache is back to 100%. Good luck everyone!
Looks like this cache is struggling a little.
I'll assess what maintenance is required when I'm back in town.

Braved the cold and finished off hunting for the this cache.
Although I knew the this place, I hadn't ever stopped. Is still very wet inside, book is is going mildrew.

Tried a couple of days ago but trusted my faulty instints instead of my (for once) accurate GPS. Went back today with my brain in gear and it was an easy (too easy?) find.
Definately recent muggle activity and the contents are all soaked. Able to write in log, but only just.
TNLN.

I'm not sure if this has been muggled (again). Got close to the spot with gps then used clue to narrow my search, but no find. will look through more of the previous logs for spoilers to see that I was in the right spot...
**update** my bad: having found spoilers in older logs I see that I should have trusted my gps rather than my (faulty) interpretation of the clue. Will go back & try again.

Found cache rather exposed with the lid half off and it looks like some kids have been writing in the log book. Contents a bit damp of course. Almost certainly some kids know about this cache. Made sure to cover it well but suspect this is no longer a secure location given what I found and previous issues as logged on-line here.
Good multi though, GPSr got me there which was good, the clue is a little too general in nature IMHO.
Nil in or out. Many thanks for the cache.

After seeing the log added by KiwiHarvs the day before, I thought I better go back for another look. That pile of rocks that had NO CACHE last time has since sprouted a cache. It was easily visible without moving any rocks. Looks like someone has been playing silly b----rs [:(!] Obviously they removed the cache and returned it at a latter date. So if you find the right spot and there is nothing there the *%$#^* have removed it again.

This cache still exists. I was there today and grabbed the TB. The other contents, especially the log, were mouldy, but otherwise all is well. Why I was there is a long and dull story that I won't relate here.
I got a good fix for the latitude from the small open area just to the West, but after a long search I didn't find anything in that area. I just found a likely pile of rocks and rubble at the exact spot. I agree with the last log.

Had two attempts at finding this cache today. Went back home and looked at the clues again to see if we’d missed something (but, no we hadn’t). Even read all the past log’s looking for spoilers… and worked out that the place we had been was where we should have been. There was a pretty obvious spot where “both†(we had two) GPS’s pointed to, but nothing there. Thinking, looking around, there seems to be a bit of activity in this area (amongst the bushes) and figured the cache has been found and removed by muggler’s. This would be a shame, as it appeared to have a travel bug in it.
Went up today to check on the cache, was out in the open and full of water. Everything's still there - retrieved the TB.
Cache will be back up in a couple of days after some drying out.

Good cache (when I finally found it) Great views.
And yes, when I was out in the open the GPS really was pointing the correct direction and distance. TFTC

Found with the A team from Alex.
Came from the swings and did some scrambling up the hill. Found the easy way down afterwards.
Neat wee spot for the cache.

I use to play in this area as a kid so it was good to go back again,st down and took in all the clues, then wondered off the the cach sit ,found it quiet quickly, what a great day to be out and about, thanks,,
Second for the afternoon. Didn't help that we reversed a couple of figures for the final site. Wondered why we were on the road above the swing and were still a couple of hundred meters from the cache. Soted that out and found the cache easily. took Lyttelton witch's book to leave in a cache in Australia in a couple of weeks.

Nice starting point to this cache on a sunny morning. Took a couple of viewing points to work out where this one was hiding but made it in the end. Nice safe location for the cache. Not bad swings either TNLN
First day out caching, this was our second find of the morning.Oh No! we're hooked.
A nice puzzle that pleased ... KiwiHarv ... and good cache location that pleased Mrs ... KiwiHarv .... The two little ... KiwiHarvs ... got ... and left ... some loot.
NB: cache initially found by harvless, now known as KiwiHarvs. Old log deleted and this one substituted.

7:25pm, #18 of day 6 of our week in Chch (that's 103 to date). Our last cache in Chch. Nice way to finish, another walk in a park! Never realised Christchurch had so many. Really enjoyed our week caching. Thanks to the Chch caching fraternity for the excellent caches. Off to deliver junior Nof the promised reward for finding 100+, Burger King and the Superman movie I believe.
A nice puzzle that pleased Harvless and good cache location that pleased Mrs Harvless. The two little Harvlesses got some loot, too.
A beautiful sunny winters day was just begging for a picnic lunch and a spot of cache hunting. Found the clues then decided to walk. The last bit a test of determination. Very muddy & slippery. Relieved to find the cache in the direction the GPS was pointing. Took TB and left a candle.
Thank you for this enjoyable little multi which I found straight-forwardly. My GPS took me right to the spot, despite the rain and surrounding features.

A great little multi... In - 3 Cute Koalas TB, Out - pumping Iron TB... is that an over hanging road???
I found this an intriguing cache. However, I fell into the old trap of zooming off looking just at the GPS pointer instead of reading the instructions and so took the long way to GZ.
This led to a totally impossible approach and a hasty reappraisal of the terrain.
Once we got to the right altitude it seemed some rock climbing might be needed but by patiently following of the GPSr, which surprisingly held lock until the end, rewarded me with a spot on find. What a fascinating hide. And I thought Christchurch was all flat and swampy!

Had been at a fellow tramper's place for coffee after our tramp,he lives very close to the cache. It does to remember your left from your right to save yourself from a longer walk than needed,my only excuse is I was tired and brain not working.Took footloose TB (couldn't resist as I had been tramping) and left bookcrossing book.
Another park I didn't know of. Yes, found it eventually. It pays to count the bolts and not the slats on the seat. Duh! on first attempt I was 100 metres off and didn't understand the additional hint. And so on a hot NW day it was something of a relief to locate this one. #37 TNLN Hatas
An interesting cache with a good hiding place, we had no idea about this park. The clues were maybe a bit too easy. The cache is now full of goodies. We took the Smiling Eight II TB and left a purse containing a white pawn, and some silica gel.
Kiwisean and Dyl 6th one of the day - left dinosaur - took travel bug - will come with me to Queenstown next week
Full marks go to this cache. Nice contrast between first and second stage and plenty of room for error by duller-witted cachers such as yours truly. I first reached the co-ordinates at the top of the cliff, decided against rapelling down and went the long way.
No swaps.

Interesting, yes our maths was correct, but then we decided to walk to the destination 250m away but nobody said it was up the hill, if I had my way I would taken the car but the boss said that we would walk. Great view. picked up t/b kiwi shearer, no swaps

Phew, this little multi took me on a wild goose chase as I did some incredibly bad math and ended up in the wrong place that seemed right, so I had a couple of goes looking in the wrong place but the clues did not compute... Today I started again and had to kick myself. More difficulties awaited me like biking up the wrong road and flat GPS batteries. Found the right location and GPS allowed me three 20 - 30 secs of life to zero in on cache. Really liked the spot and fantastic weather to boot. + TB Random Memories + Mordor Goblin + Superglue.
Really enjoyed this one. A great hiding spot. Took us quite awhile to find the cache. Didn't know this park existed -like others who have now discovered it. No swaps.
What a lovely wee multi. One can sit calmly at the initial location causing not a bit of muggle-wonder as one drops one eyes to count the bolts!! The next clue is then in your face - so to speak!! But I loved the final location. That's the fun of geocaching - you think you know this city and its parks, but there are so many tiny gems hidden away with such interesting features that you never knew existed. So thanks to Kiwijam, I'm now a little better acquainted with the lower end of Mt Pleasant - such "pleasant" knowledge. No swaps.
Walked the long way around to the final cache - should have read the street signs!
Looks like Kiwijam may have played there as a boy!
A great night cache (its starting to get dark rather early), no muggles, and a bit of adventure. Great night views of Brighton. Took Alfa, left Porsche.
Thanks Kiwijam!

Was driving back from the finish of a Sallie multicache, when we spotted this one on the radar. Once again - another chch park I didn't know existed. Cheers
Found this as it was getting dark tonight. What a good spot. Ton missed it on the first pass, then Con found it.
Took whistle and left Kidstart pen.
Thanks.

An urban sense of adventure as we found the final location. Tame compared to the hills and caves we were climbing through on our two week circuit of the island, but still fun.
he he ferret strikes again we were not hte only ones there today took the travel bug and the rebex cube they will both apear in other caches soon
We liked it!! The hiding spot is really interesting and we were completely unaware that the park even existed! Cheers for leading us there. As we were leaving we saw a group of people focused intently on their right hands and heading towards the cache. With a smile we silently wished them luck before we departed (we also actually wished them luck by leaving a note under the windscreen)

Ok, the cache wasn't so bad anyway, but now it's all ready for the summer. I've reformed the hiding place, and dropped off a TB too.
Could see that a lot of thought had gone into this cache and we enjoyed doing it. Sadlt though we found the cache completely out in the open next to the channel with its lid open and contents very damp. Doesn't appear to have been plundered but can't see any other reason for it to be out like this. Logbook was dry. Hid cache in the spot that appeared to be its hidey hole but suggest a maintenance visit is in order to properly dry out contents and check its location. TNLN
Our first multi cache hunt. Thanks KiwiJam.
What a great place to come and explore - littlest buckoboy just loved it!!
Great to see a cache that can take good sized swaps! Saves the arguments with the small buckoboys!

What a nice area! Driven past here a number of times, but first time stopping here. Didn't take too long to find the cache, where I left the Grifter TB. Awesome wee spot in the lovely sunny day today! Cheers Gav [251]
We had a nice relaxed search and wander - ideal wayy to spend a weekend morning. Enjoyed coming upon the park perched up in the hill, found there were numbers of dog walkers out. So went into bird watching mode with camera to perambulate around the area - which got us ont the right track. n icely designed cache and clues.

3rd cache for the day.
What T intersection? Oh that one! Yes I took the wrong road, but it was a nice walk anyway. People around so had to wait for them to leave before the search began. Couldn't find it (in the wrong place) but did find footprints...follow the foot prints. Getting closer and found it. A nice place that I have never been to before.
No exchange
Thanks

Nice walk up the hill - NOT! Ended up taking a-round-about route to reach a great caching spot. Coords very accurate. Much bird song around as I filled in the log. Swapped Merv the Mamakuman TB (great to see a container that was large enough to accomodate a prop forward looking for his next game of rugby) for Mumma Mouse TB.
I've added a couple of extra clues above, just in case. I'm of the opinion that searching for and finding the cache is much more enjoyable than getting stuck and coming back another time.
We missed the Bear_Left team by less than an hour. We wandered around a bit but it was all part of the fun and the GPS, when we trusted it, took us straight there. This was a great cache, with a clever little offset at the start. Well done Kiwijam - we enjoyed it immensely.

Bravo! An excellent first cache.
Papa Bear has cast covetous eyes on King Park on many occasions, so it was nice to see it appear as WP1 of this multi (so he can stop thinking about it!)
Lucky for you that we were out of town, KiwiLegend, or you'd have had a race on your hands. You're more local than we are, but this is Christchurch and nowhere's more than 15 minutes away!
We were glad of the sinister clue, and were pleasantly surprised at the hidden world near GZ. The things you learn while caching!
We took nothing, but left a pop-eyed Kiwi and the 'Mumma Mouse' TB from 'The Rats' of NSW.

Yep - pretty cool! We've driven past here many times, and lived up the hill when we first moved here- but never came in. Great hiding spot too. We wandered around a bit, before trusting the coords, and Liz finally found it. Bit more of a hint though - take the LEFT at the T.
