I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi Zukin & Lany
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Found with Mrs Crockpot whilst driving the Gentle Annie back home to Auckland. Taking the long way home... A little trickier than expected, but a bit of a cacher trail gave the game away.
After 4 days in Hawkes Bay I decided on a whim to take the long way home. Great decision, its an enjoyable drive.
I didn't believe my GPS when it said I was within 2 metres. So I read some earlier blogs while the gps settled down, and it turned out to be correct.
So over I went.
Finding the cache was fairly easy. Getting back to level ground was a bit trickier.
A nice little mini-challenge to break up the drive

Ratted around on a steep sided hill and found the blue container. All good, cache dry, signed and sealed, tftc.
Out for a drive with the MG Car Club. Nice sunny day. Great view from here. Thanks Zukin & Lany.
Found with our 3 and 6 y.o. Thank you Zukin & Lany for making us stop here. A good view today. Lots of rubbish around. Hopefully the cache remains safe when someone does a cleanup.
Not very keen on the crowds for the Santa parade, i decided to skip town and go for a little drive instead. A bit of a balancing act standing where I was and signing the log! TFTC!!
Over time, everything levels out. Sometimes you get a T4 for nothing, sometimes you have to crawl and climb for a T1,5. Quickly spotted, but to get to it, was a bit nasty after the rain. But fun. TFTC
The view wasn't that good today, thanks to the weather. I quickly spotted the cache, but getting to it was a different story. How on earth can you rate this as T 1.5? This is at least T 3. Also, it's not a regular but a small, but since at least 50% of all NZ caches are one size smaller than stated in the description, that didn't bother me that much. TFTC!
Found this ages ago but forgot to log-called in again today to admire the view on a lovely clear day
I wasn't really prepared to go Bush today! But hey, the view made it all worthwhile. Tftc
Beautiful panoramic views from this location. Managed to retrieve the cache in my flip flops even, without slipping. All good at GZ. Thank you so much for placing a cache here. Cheers
Great spot for a cache. Libranj retrieved the cache whilst I was taking pics of the gorgeous views. Thanks for the cache Zukin & Lany.
With this cache name it seemed to be a no-brainer to stop at this spot and have a look. It was our first time along the Napier-Taihape road and we were enjoying the trip: something we wouldn't have done in Barnaby if the road had an unsealed section in the middle liked it used to. The logging activity seems to have caused the Napier side in particular to be done to a high standard of road surface: we saw a lot of log trucks coming the other way during our drive. The panoramic view wasn't as good as I'd hoped: the power lines spoiled the shot a little and I had to poke the camera through the deer fence, but never mind. Then it was time to look for the cache. Given a previous finder's log entry I made sure I had suitable footwear on. The cache was easily spotted, but not quite so easily got to: needed a bit of agility. All in order and log was dry. Thanks for the cache Zukin & Lany. I think it ought to be a little higher than T1.5 though.
Great weather today as we make our way over Gentle Annie for the first time trying to get some caches along the way. A bit slippery underfoot and I was not too sure about attempting a retrieval but managed to survive. Thank you for placing this cache.
We spent some time looking for this cache without success. We even tried going a little way down the bank despite the terrain rating.
First time going over the Taihape Road and its raining so not so much of a view today. Took a few minutes to locate, possibly because I havent cached for months.
Very wet up here today and definitely not view - but we will be back as we want to do some more walking in this area TFTC
unfortunately it wasn't a very good view with the rain and the low clouds but from what we could see it was very pretty! tufts
Rested here on 3 January when I was doing my epic Gentle Annie bike ride, but it wasn’t until Lizard Rock that I checked the GPS and realized I’d missed opportunity to get a cache. Never mind, much better visibility today and the stunning view is certainly worth coming back for. Apologies for late logging.
This cache is logged after we came back home (Montagnac, France) after a FANTASTIC journey in Australia, New Zealand and transit in China.
We visited a lot of cities and places and the game helped us to discover a little bit more than "normal tourists".
Thank you to all cache owners.
Merci, TFTC.

Those two countries are very different but absolutely FANTASTIC.

This morning we left Napier to go to Taupo, but to mix discovery of the country and finding a few caches, we took a vey long (and narrow) road .
No problem to find this one.

Just a quick drive-in on our way to Kaweka Forest park and then further to Whanganui. Nice views TFTC
Another find on the great north summer roadtrip with the Banians- a week of travel from Wellington to Auckland via Napier, Wairoa, that secluded road between Wairoa and Rotorua, and almost the Coromandel peninsula.
The view was stunning at this time of day-

A quick stop and find. Cache was easily visible when neared, so signed the log and jumped back into the car to head off to our next spot!

Another great spot on our travels today. Kids flew down the bank while Mum quickly spotted the cache. TFTC!
Had a little play with some snow! On the trail to find more. Jordis spotted the cache really quickly
Up this way for an Event this evening, time to do some caches up Taihape Road. This cache was on my 'must do' list while in this area. Thanks for the cache.
We loved the spot for this one, and the views were spectacular. Mr geoman went for a scramble to find the cache however he came across the butchered, decaying remains of a dead deer. We have a feeling some awful sod has stolen a deer from a nearby deer farm, butchered it for the meat, and disposed of its remains possibly on top of the geocache?
Great View of Hawkes Bay.. I ended up going down the bank a bit further than necessary, searching through the bush, then just noticed the container on my way back up after I had given up!

18151 km from home we found this Cache while our holidays. Thank you very much for hiding and greetings from Dresden, Germany!
Glad it was at the top of the slope and not part-way down by the recently dead deer...! Other than that nearby gruesomeness, this is a lovely spot with amazing views! TFTC!
Great lunch stop, and collected a whole lot of roadside mushrooms which we had for a delicious tea! TFTC
Nice views. TFTC

While driving on the gentle annie road, we were able to find this cache. The view was very bad today, due to the fog, about 50 m . TFTC
1140am. A good fine though windy day today and the view was as far as could be. A search and a slither revealed the cache!!

We found this cache during our holiday in NZ. We would like to thank all cache owners for showing all beautiful places.
Nice to stop here again after last visiting in 2005. Fantastic views today!
Signed the log again for a challenge cache.
Many thanks

A relatively easy find by Demon. Had a giggle when Angel was looking around near the fenceline and promptly found herself up to her armpits in a ditch. She was extracted safely hahahaha.
A beaut view up here, could see all the way out to Cape Kidnappers, Te Mata peak etc.

4973. Our only find of the Gentle Annie road (and it required a bit of a scamble). Great views from here, and quite a few muggles stopping. TFTC.
Good opportunity to stop and stretch ones legs as well as admire the view.
Popular spot, even though the road was very quiet, I think every passing vehicle must stop here. Non-one was taking any notice of us, so we decided to just go and look for the cache even though there were muggles around.
Quick find for StreetWalker. Need to ignore the terrain rating.

Quick stop on the way back to Hastings after staying a night at blowhard bush and going for a walk in the neat limestone formations
14.55: On the road again: from Whakapapa to Dannevirke over the "Gentle Annie". Quick find at roadside with the help of hint. But not much of a panorama today.
Weather: alternating rain and sun, 11°C;
Wheelchair: yes, close enough to view;
State: all good.
IN & OUT: nothing.
Thank you!

Family holiday tripping around the gentle Annies, B of bedaz had a bit of a scare rolling down the hill but E was quick to rescue!!. A fantastic spot to take in the beautiful view TFTC
there was a bit of early morning haze so the view wasn't as good as it would normally be TFTC
This cache has waited for us for years, always the one that was left til the end of the day's caching, when it was too late, it'll wait til the next time, etc etc.
Today we dedicated our Napier trip specially to this cache and wouldn't you know it, as we crossed the summit the clouds closed in with misty rain and the HB didn't look too great at all. Nevermind, we weren't going to put this one off any longer. A lovely drive up through the countryside even though our view was limited by low clouds. Quickly found the cache in excellent shape, but no views today. We were up in the clouds. TFTC.

Looked under the wrong tree to start with but found in the end. WATCH OUT for the thistles and the plastic runoff sheet, very slippery and will send you on an unexpected trip. TFTC SL left Calling Card
Nice quick, easy find to cap of an afternoon of real "bush bashing" style caching nearby. Cool view!! TFTC
Nice drive to GZ. A short search to find the cache. Unfortunately lots of rubbish near cache - I took some but still more around. SL TFTC
On the way to our overnight boys camp at Kuripapango. A fine place for a stop, although no vista today. The following day on the way back we did stop here and admire the view. What a peaceful place to be.
