I agree with the request to archive this one. I have been to the start of this cache only to find the required information missing, so I moved on. This is a multi and requires you to follow the bouncing ball to get to the cache. Without this information you need LOCAL KNOWLEDGE to get to some of the later WP's to even luck upon the cache. I'm sure I could find this cache, but why would I waste my time wandering around the park looking for clues to pick up the trail.
The owner has not logged on since 20 OCT 2008. They are not going to change the cache page so the cache needs to be archived to allow others to place a cache here.

Knowing that some early wp's were missing the all important information, and also with enough local knowledge to find the place with the view this is where i stated my search. I was able to use the last wp question to come up with a plausible GZ. The only problem was I modified the cache starting coords rather than my current location coords which gave me an unlikely location close to the start. I used the PAF approach and C@H quickly took up the challenge. I was left with a 50m area to search about 150m from the final WP. however I didn't come up with the cache after searching this area and with a good hint. I sat down and discovered the error I'd made and soon had a WP bang in the area I'd searched area. so with renewed vigour and a confirmed start point I soon un covered the well hidden cache. Safe and sound in its hidey hole. Coords saved for future searchers. Thanks Aussie Coder for the cache and C@H for the Phone a Friend help. find #2067
An interesting comment from the Reviewer. This cache is a Multi, not a Traditional, and the information required to discover this cache no longer exists - this fact is supported in a number of logs! Experienced cachers may well get lucky on a hunch or two but Newbies will experience difficulties and certainly not have the enjoyable experience of Geocaching proffered by Groundspeak. Hence our suggestion to Archive and let someone else utilise what is an excellent area for a geocache.
This cache was identified as having problems back in January 2009 and a maintenance log, made in June 2010, remains unaddressed.
Perhaps it's now time for the Reviewer to implement the archive process and allow another "local" to utilize an excellent caching area.

This cache, when established, would have been an excellent Multi. Unfortunately the environment and surroundings have changed from when this cache was published and some of the questions can no longer be answered correctly. Whilst it is possible to get to the GZ using a large amount of geo nouse combined with the reading of other logs, this cache was not the pleasant experience it should have been for us today - even the terrain and difficulty rating don't make sense - Terrain is at least 2 - 2.5 and, given the problems with the out of date questions, the Difficulty should be at least 3.
Seeing that the CO has not been on Groundspeak since October 2008, we think it's about time this cache was archived by the reviewer, so as another local cacher can take the opportunity to resurrect what could be an excellent Multi.

This multi was quite confusing but I did find the cache in the end with a bit of common sense and deduction. Found the sign at the start and the numbers that were required, although had to add a few to make it work. Headed over to WP2, to find no posts there.
Read the previous logs and managed to locate the 'Forest of Effort'. Crossed the 'Grand Prix track and headed up the hill to the 'Point of Perception', and was greeted with some pretty cool views. Found the item with the distances and places on it and, with a bit of deduction had a set of coords for GZ.
Off I headed with some anticipation, but not to worry as my calculated coords were only a few metres out. The hint helped and the hiding spot for the cache was spotted. Cache retrieved and log signed.
Its a good multi that needs to be updated to allow for the changed conditions. Thanks for the cache.

This one did not start off well, but in the end everything work out...
At the start there was no clear answer as what the correct numbers should be so took a guess. This lead me to a path near by which I assume was the "Path of Anticipation" but there were no green posts on either side so I continue to walk on hoping something would be presented. I soon came to a junction and decided to go Left as the area seem to decribe the entrance to the "Forrest of Effort". Even at this point the items to count seem to many so I decided to ignore the counting task and walk onwards thru the Forrest. Soon I found myself walking up a rather steep hill now realising that this was the "Hill". At the top I came to rest at WP3 which was the only WP which I was certain of the answers I had gathered. As I did not have the previous information from the other Waypoints I did not have enough numbers for the GZ coordinates but I did have a almost complete East set of corrindates so using my geo senses I went about the search for GZ. Which due to some simple logic, luck and the hint provided the cache was soon in hand. This was a great cache but the details for WP1 & 2 were not obvious to me but the joy in finding the cache with out these details made the find far more satisfying. Thanks aussiecoder, TNLN.

My second cache today.
Very nice views but only found it because I knew where the last clue would be.
Looks like changes have made the first couple of clues incorrect.
But thanks I enjoyed the challenge.

I agree with Covert. I found it with a sparse set of numbers too. The cacher doesn't seem to have been online since 2008, although it has the potential to be quite a cool cache - really nice view along the way. We could leave it the way it is, but ramp the difficulty right up! Thanks anyway.
Starting coordinate formula needs to be done again. The needed sign cannot be found (at least by me). There are plenty of other signs around that could be used at the same location.
Arrived at the start coordinates and could not find the needed info. Checked the logs to find it has been a long time since the last find. About to give up when I decided to use some cacher logic that seems to be getting better and better the more caches I do. Well needless to say without about 20 minutes i found myself at GZ looking at a container that looked like a cache. Sure enough it was still in "working" condition even with a working pen. Saved the poor TB that has been stuck in there all this time. Covered the cache up a bit better since it was a little exposed when I arrived. TFTC

Found with ggkof on our usual Tuesday night caching adventure. I couldn't work out what numbers to use at WP 1, but either seemed to work. Only to find no green poles, they seem to have been removed. I continued on and was on the track from there. A lovely walk in a park that was unknown to me before. Great views too. Left Teddy-TB

This was an interesting little multi to complete but I must report a few concerns I had. The green posts have been removed and whilst there are fresh dirt marks in the ground, in a few months the grass will grow over these and make it very difficult to tell. I also had trouble with the posts either side of the fence, there are both wooden and metal and I got two answers.
Anyway, I used a bit of thought and made some assumptions based on the previous log and bingo! Got it!
Thanks,
R - B

I had about three attempts at this one when in Melbourne visiting family and could not get started. Decided to have a go at Piney Ridge instead and again could not get started.
But wait --what's that on the horizon? Big pine trees on a ridge-- that's it for sure. Some how with a lot of luck and an educated guess I came up with the Hill of Endeavour. Still not sure how but the Bronze Marker did help. Thanks for this one as it had me awake at night.

On a warm easter Monday 2big2little (plus one brave hearted niece) headed to the hill of endeavour to test our mettle against the great adversary.
We found location one with only a few stray looks from muggles and with the required info in hand we headed off. We breezed along the path of anticipation - posts to the left of me, posts to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with clues.
We fought our way bravely through the forest of effort, dodging formula one cars and wild beasts alike (a stray cat), not to mention the incline, before reaching the point of perception where all became suddenly clear (and there was a really good view). We were waylaid temporarily by 1 little and some play equipment, but we soon found GZ and had the prize in hand. Our goal attained, our quest achieved, the summit conquered, we went back home for lunch!!
Thanks Aussiecoder for a really cool cache and taking us to a spot we didn't know existed.

Found @ 17:45. Semed to get some of the first clues wrong as my calculated next WP's weren't very close to where they should have been, but by reading what I had to find next, I managed to stumble onto them. Lucky for me the numbers I needed to calculate the final GZ were correct. No muggles around now as it was now dark. Great view of the lights in the area. Thanks.

WP1 apprears to be in order now and so the pole counting continued apace. Really enjoyed the views at WP4 - and I do liek a good view! Cache found without problem in its good hide. Thanks aussiecoder for another good multi.
Part drove and part walked this one, mainly because the the weather was quite threatening and we didn't want to be caught too far from shelter. Found all the clues and the cache without too much trouble. Thanks very much

The first way point is a little precarious at the moment as it is just shoved against the fence a short distance from the co-ords. The correct number was obtained and we were on our way to the great fence count (Vol.1 and 2). Great view at WP4, but I think that some of the labeled places are a bit on the optomistic side.
A nice downhill stroll to GZ, and an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

We Swaggies decided to take the easy way out today and we drove to the second last waypoint as swaggie 2 was still recovering from her hospital visit. Besides the wheels on the saline drip pole were not of the off road type.

After completing "Rabbit Warren", I started on this one and did the 1st 3 wps easily enough - however it was getting late, and I was wearing some heavy-duty winter motorbike gear, so I took the easy way to wp4, after which the final was a nice, quick find. The views were great at the top, and I appreciated the fact that none of the questionable values in the calculations were required for the next step (e.g. with dusk settling in, I had trouble distinguishing 5s from 8s at wp4).
TNLN
Thanks Aussiecoder - I thought it was an excellent and well thought out cache

This really was a hidden gem in the midst of suburbia, and so well protected by the design of the pathways keeping walkers confined.
Although a stiff pinch the views were well worth the effort.
We took TF5’s batteries and left a Mondo Figurine .
Thanks aussiecoder for this challenge.

Got to first playground at 6.00pm and enjoyed fish and chips and the playground for awhile.Did all the clues along the trek and arrived at the lookout via the forest at sunset. Finally grabbed the goods at 7.00pm just before darkness and logged the book.Took starfish, gluestick and crayons and put in set of 4 batteries. Thanks aussiecoder for the great bush walk in the middle of suburbs with a final exciting panorama and the cache.
Our first found cache.
The kids enjoyed the playgrounds along the way & it got us out of the house.
We didn't know of the existance of the area, even though we only live 2km West of the start.

Found at 11.07 with jazwoz. Walk was OK except it was uphill all the way. Puffing a bit at the end but the view distracted me from having a heart attack. Got the clues and proceeded down the hill and found OK.
Found in the company of SPY-KIDS at 11:35. We had a nice walk up the hill and saw several rainbow lorikeets. Thanks For a nice wallk and a great cache.
Quite a tough walk really, not made any easier by my poor judgement, which led me a good 500m in the wrong direction (all of it uphill) and then the 500m back again to waypoint two. Anyway I found it in the end so all is well that ends well.
Found at 12.20pm GAFF1. Walk!!!! Well it was turned into a drive-by and still enjoyed the scenery and the parks of this lovely area. Looked for the "coder" along the tracks but there was no one around - maybe after dark is when aussiecoder gets to do his walks. This was a very enjoyable cache and we love doing aussiecoder caches because we know that his co-ords are spot on. This was no exception and the cache was found quickly in exactly the spot that the GPSr was indicating. Took: Sharpener, Left: Aussie key ring
New phone number identified just to the right of the original sign.
Start co-ordinates adjusted. Calculcations also adjusted to reflect the new phone number.
Good luck to the next searcher.

It seems the clues for the first waypoint has been removed.
I'll think up another way to get the values and bring it back online once I make those changes.

After the success of another local cache we dashed across for this cache as it has been on our “to do†list for some time.

2pmI have been thru this suburb many times before, it is a nice suburb and has some great walking paths around the area. When getting to the Albert park F1 circuit we could both here a Car in the distance driving like mad hoons. The hill was a bit of a killer because the night before I was up till 3.30am doing shopping at Chadstone shopping centre. This cache was a very easy find and I could see this one from quite far away from the GZ. No swaps for today but thanks from M.B and S.b-A (team rabbitto) to aussiecoder for a great cache. TNLN
After doing some Xmas shopping at the nearby centre I decided to attempt his cache as it was such a lovely afternoon. Found the clues and headed off through the forest.
The views were unexpected & spectacular.
Extracted the cache from it's hidey hole to discover that it's contents were a little wet. (Another victim of those heavy November Rains)Luckily the log book was okay in its zip bag, and I was able to dry out the rest of the contents

Team Taka-Keela (takagawa-kun and Akeela) found this one. A great night walk, the view is fantastic but ravaged by bugs ;p. Clever use of environment to get locations. Taken Parachute Solder, left a pair of Learner Plates hehe. Great hiding spot, spot on co-ordinates. Very enjoyable quest.
Found by Mary & David at 1600. Rather like Bunyon's 'A Pilgrim's Progress'. Despite the weather the views up at the 'Point of Perception' were great. Took cloth patch, left pack of stick-on jewels. Our thanks to aussiecoder.

As a side note. If anyone is interested in what happens to concrete when it gets real hot. Near the first waypoint (on the way to the 2nd) you will see a shelter held up by 3 posts. You will see the remains of 2 benches and a table. This was the location of the first fire attended by Em_Eagle as part of the CFA. The posts were glowing Red hot and as we showed up the concrete was exploding. Just a bit of useless info for you.

I'm not sure if this was actually the 25th or early on the 26th. I didn't get home until about 2am, so I think probably the 26th. Not that it matters...
Found the first, second and third points pretty easily, but we were getting tired, so drove to the forth point. Found that pretty quickly as well, so Em_Eagle and I went to the final location while e_h went for the car. Wound up pretty close to another point anyway!

Out this side of town for the afternoon we tackled this cache on the way home.
Going paperless for the first time was a bit of challenge (especially when J got a different number at counting that I did).
Nevertheless the waypoints were found and the climb to the top of the hill was on. Having never been anywhere near this part of town I was quite surprised at the vista that met us here. Gathering the final details we left the view and let J walk on ahead with the GPS.
Despite it pointing into the fenced off area, but not by far, she deduced that the cache was not there but over there. This put us at one apiece today.
We swapped out an echidna and a dinosaur for a bouncy ball and a stretchy dinosaur.
Thanks for the walk.

Found by Team Frogger a couple of hours after Biggles was here. Cache is quite close to home, so we attacked using pedal power instead of the car, and we now have no doubt why this suburb is not just called "Endeavour".
Cache location was obvious on approach, so Daddy Frogger and the Tadpole had a bit of a race to get there first ...... Daddy Frogger lost .
Swap: scales out, gluestick in.
Thanks for the cache aussiecoder.

Found 11:45, what a great little stroll.
Took cow finger puppet and left blue paratrooper, thanks Aussiecoder.

A nice stroll on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. Found out all the clues, did the maths and found the cache.
The geodogs were well pleased to go out for a walk as well.
Thanks Aussiecoder for a great cache.
Took: water pistol.
Left: Bath bomb, clay echidna and a "da bugs" giant wasp.
Regards Andrew, "da big bug"

Found at 5:50 today after an enjoyable walk. Found all the answers without difficulty, did the substitutions and maths, and had the cache as soon as I arrived at GZ.
I took a snail fridge magnet and left Pocket Scales as a replacement. Thanks, aussiecoder, for a lovely walk and for a great first cache.

This was a pleasant walk with Barcoder. We decided to pair up today to do a few over this way. My main one to do today is Rags to Riches. Can't wait. Found all the clues nice and easy then it was off to find the cache. Jenny beat me by _______ that much. You think she would have let me find it 1st considering it is my birthday. Oh well maybe the next one.
Cache found at 925am. Swapped glitter glue for a key ring.
Thanks aussiecoder for the cache and well deserved walk.
Also took Chaos Kid for a bit of a ride.

Found this one with Kiwideb. Not having cached together before, we decided to spend the day together and do a few.
The weather was pretty good, the Sun was smiling for Deb's birthday. Knowing her reputation for finding them first, I managed to put my hands on this one before her. But there is a particular cache she needs to find first today. Just follow our logs for today, and you will find out which one.

Finally completed this one at 0835. Armed with corrected coordinates, I walked straight to it. The coordinates for all waypoints are spot-on.
Thanks aussiecoder for the cache. It was me who brought the Chaos Kids to Australia, so I left them there to enjoy the view. TNLNSL.

Well, I was hoping to be first to find this one. But after spending around an hour and a half collecting numbers, retracing my steps, recounting fence posts, and rescaling the hill, the final coordinates still had me in a suburban street. I had decrypted the hint by this time, but that just made it obvious that I was in the wrong place.
I tried a couple of different combinations of the final coordinates, based on different interpretations of what a fence post is, but these, too, proved fruitless.
I'm pretty sure my figures are correct, but we'll see what others turn up.

Like dak's Emu Mob I too spent a lot of time wandering around suburban streets only to come up empty handed.
But a bit of deduction and a large amount of guess work saw the cache revealed on my second visit.
Great location for a cache and a very interesting walk from start to GZ.
Took Geocoin
Left Sheriff badge
Thanks Aussiecoder

Found at 7:10pm. With the prospect of a first to find, coupled with potential incorrect clues and a possibility of trumping Dak's Emu Mob we eagerly set off after work for a cache hunt.
Followed all the preliminary points to the tee and located the errenous "Streetscape" end location. Walked backed up the hill, figured out where we wanted to go, adjusted the hopefully incorrect digit that would get us to that spot and walked straight to the cache . Love it when a plan comes together.
Worked out the error, beat Dak to the spot, but then ended up being trumped in turn by Team Diesel for the first to find. Oh well, two out of three...
Hey, I reckon leave the incorrect digit for an extra challenge . Thanks aussiecoder from D & S B-A for a great first cache. Nice walk, well plotted path and great views from the hill. Took a whistle, left TB Chaos Kids.

A typo meant that some of the "early adopters" of this cache whizzed off away from GZ and into the surrounding streets.
I've fixed the typo (despite the suggestions that it "made it more interesting").
Next time I'll check my typing 3 times instead of just 2.
