Logs
Well that’s everyone logged now so…
Thanks everyone who came, it was fantastic to meet some more cachers from the basin and catch up with others I’d meet before (well, not Bronze). Hope those how missed it can come next time and of course “The Wall†and “The Filter†are still there for anyone to find. See you all at the “Gold Rush†(Queens B’day).

Chalked up my 2nd event cache in one year! (OK, so they were 51 weeks apart).
Found some caches, met some cachers, swapped some stories, ate some food. What better way to spend a holiday.
Thanks for the day Mix.

Followed Riblit up to Newcastle for the day. Was good to finally meet up with MIX and Steelrat, and the rest of the usual suspects. Ate food, told caching stories, got wet on the walk along the breakwall.
Thanks for the event Mix and co.

Xmas day dawns clear and bright. KitPie and I stumble out of bed after the xmas eve festivities at her Mum's house and try to make ourselves coherent. We drive up to Gosford for 2 days of catching up with the rellies, and some post xmas sales. Sunday night rolls around, and on a whim, we call Kaska in Newcastle ... "We're coming to visit"!
Monday dawns clear and bright. KitPie and I drag ourselves off the inflatable mattress on the floor. Kaska and KitPie ... "let's pierce our tongues" ... (not me) and then go to the beach!
At some point, I consult my brain (PDA) ... there's an event cache here tomorrow. Right, we're staying another day!
And the rest, as they say, is history. We rocked up fashionably late, said a quick hello to those at ground control, then wandered off in search of like-minded GPSr wielding types on the scent of log books. Following the sea-wall adventure, we settled in for the usual cache-story swapping session.
'twas great to catch up with the familiar faces and to meet some new ones.

I led the mini parade of two vehicles into the parking area, we did a loop looking for anything familiar. A flash of yellow turned out to be an etrex in the hand of Bronze, who pointed out a couple of parking spots within half a days walk. We parked, dragged the picnic gear to the shelter where Mrs Riblit and the female Geckos watched over it while I left with Swampy and Bronze on a tour of exploration. We found Nads, Mix, Steelrat and eventually Mindsocket on the tour. We returned, ate, discussed and eventually left.
Thanks for the day Mix.
Thanks for the day Mix.
We left home at approx 3am did 5 caches on the way to the event. It was good to meet you all again and swap a few stories. Hope to see you all again in June unless the Sydney Siders organise an event in between. We ended up covering about 850 km for the day and got home at 9:30pm
Thanx Mix

Took me a while to log it cause I've been busy - holidaying!
Go on. Hold it agains me and I'll tell you how much fun I've been having. This is just one of the cool event I've enjoyed over the festive / New Year season.
Thanks to Mix and all those who attended.
Sincerely-
The Bronze.

Two easy walking distance caches are set out, I just hope the weather holds. Rain or shine see you tomorrow.

4 definite starters (with teams) plus me (and mine), 3 strong maybes and 1 weak maybe at this stage. See you all on the 28th.
The hoop snakes and snakelets will see if we can slither along without becoming roadkill on the way. Look out for the green coloured snakes... PS we aren't vegetarians so if you bring any pets along they'd better not be tasty lookin'... cheers the hungry hoop snakes
Not now-- I have a 2 day LAN party to attend..

bnot sure what we'll be up to around this time, with a full time contract underwaty, and now W-W-Working 5 days a week, till then ( ugh) I'll be desperate for a decent days caching, and gossiping, so will try and make it.
( unlike the maitland one which i just found a week ago, and then realised it was the event cache from several moths ago! doh!)

Yeah, I'll prolly shuffle along. Might even try to drag some of my regular 'helpers' too.
