Checked this morning and there is an indentation of where the cache was but it has gone . Will put anther lising for a cache in this park, not too sure when. So in the mean time this cache is archived.
Thankyou to those of you who had already found it.

Took the kids and some of their cousins to this park for a picnic. Even though they were enthusiastically entertained for quite some time looking for "treasure" in the area we calculated to sarround GZ we had no luck! Noticed that it seems the council has recently done some work on/to the area, and a few possibilities exist for the whereabouts of the cache a) it is there and we just couldn't find it! (highly likely) b) it is burried under a foot of new tan bark or c) tankengine's fears of it missing are correct! As it is local for me I might try and sneak back one day soon to have another check of the co-ord's calculation (I was relying on an 8 year old to tell me the answers to the clues). Any hints would be appreciated

Hmmm - even with an extra hint from kiwideb I could not find this cache! Either it is missing, or (just as likely) I'm cache blind today! (Failed to find 3 of 3 caches today). Thanks anyway kiwideb - I'll try again next time I'm in town.
4.35pm
Found by Roma and Max.
This is another of Melbournes excellent suburban parks with facilities catering for everybody including the apparently homeless person who has set up camp in the gardens within 10m of GZ.and close to the play ground!
The container was an easy find and we must have been calculating the final co-ords when the last finder was replacing it.
We took a Zapp Key Tag and left a Mondo Figurine.
Thanks again Kiwideb we were pleased this was easier to find than our previous one of yours.

A beautiful day in a lovely park. Plenty of muggles around, as school had just let out, but had a 5 minute window of opportunity. Had in hand and back in place quickly. TNLN. Thanks kiwideb!

After a false start we re-caclulated our sums and realised we didn't need to walk 25km to the final GZ (Doh).
After a short stroll we arrived at the correct GZ and Shelby found the cache after a brief search.
Many thanks Kiwideb for the cache and the boys say thank you for the Flying Fox in this park.
Taken Bandaids - Left Mini Temp Tattoos.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "Need a Holiday, Need a Coffee" Clan.

The kids had a fantastic time in the playground (2 great flying foxes!) on this sunny but brisk winters day. s & m broke off to hunt for the cache but when the GZ appeared to be in a nearby suburban street, something obviously wasn't quite right. A re-check turned up another Jones and we were able to locate the cache.
Took: glitter, small box with stone, bottletop & coins.
Left: glue stick, Australian flag stickers.
This is a great park and we'll definitely be back. Thanks for bringing us here kiwideb.

On a roll from Yarren Dehran. I took on this one. Nice spot but realise I must learn to count. Can't recall swaps as field notes corrupted. (will I go bak to paper nah)
Calculations quickly done and cache found. No one around today. Very nice park. TNLN. Thanks kiwideb.
went looking for this after work a nice little park found cache in no time took nothing left nothing
thanks kiwideb for this cache

Curse the good weather we've been having, far too many muggles around, including some who were staring at me, so I beat a hasty retreat. Will go back later when picnickers go home.
this one was good only prob was that my maths wasnt after lets say a couple of beers, so i had to get the drive (the only sober one of all of us) to do it, then what ya know we found it so quick after that
Happy to say the cache is still safe and sound. Have signed the book plus rehid the cache .
First to DNF [:(!]
After having Destinator show the cache around the corner from Samantha's brothers house, we decided to stop at it on the way home this afternoon.
I seem to have developed kiwideb-cache-blindness, with this being our third Kiwideb DNF. We looked around the GZ and the closest thing we found to a cache was a sharps container. Conveniently, the public toilets were just being cleaned as we were leaving, and we left the container with the workers.
Perhaps it's not so easy, or it's been muggled recently - council gardeners seem to have been by. *SIGH* Will try again next time we drop in on the relos.

On another Saturday "shopping" trip, a spot of opportunistic caching took the fore. Off I set, gathered the clues and had the cache quite quickly in hand at 15:45.
This is another of those caches that reveal a great place to visit and therefore really add to the joy of caching.
TNLN. Thanks yet again kiwideb.

Found pretty quickly. Had GeoNovice Melissa with me for this one as well.
The 1st plaque co-ords were a little off, but the remainder were spot on.

What a beautiful park this one is. The team worked out the clues and we were soon headed to the GZ. It took a few minutes of looking but soon we had the cache in hand at 7pm. Thanks Kiwideb.
We started searching for this cache on 23rd January. At the target location there were people everywhere so it was only possible for some very quick glances. None successful!! We returned today and found the cache in just about the first place checked at 7:10pm. Thanks Kiwideb. We took a blue toy car and left a patchy green frog. At that point a family sat down in a circle on the grass nearby so it was impossible to do anything without one of them seeing us. We waited about 20 minutes for them to leave. The cache was returned unobserved.
Energizer's 100th Cache ....
well, we did have a go at this one late last night while visiting from Tas. My sister thought she knew which plaque to start at, we didn't have much luck last night, so gave up when it got dark, & we realised we had done something wrong .... so, we had another go at this one today, using the GPS to find the starting point instead of my sisters local knowledge .... funny thing, but by starting at the correct plaque we found it no worries
we wanted to make our 100th find a multi, & after we reached 99 at Ice-cream & Cigarettes, this wasn't far away, & since we was "taking a Halladay". we headed back here to make this our 100th
we took a koala keyring & left some hair clips & a keyring.
an excellent cache in a beautiful park, thankyou Kiwideb

The object at the final location certainly made it easy to hide what we were doing, as there were quite a few muggles about on a beautiful Melbourne afternoon.

It was great to read this tribute to the people that sacrificed so much during the war from this area
The cache was a little exposed and surprised it had not been muggled so I concealed it a little better
Took Coin Wallet
Left basketball Card
Many Thanks to kiwideb

Every cache should have a park bench like this one. I have known this park since it was a cow paddock. Amazing how time changes things. Took a soft ball and left a koala.
Beautiful garden. Nb Dog friendly cache![Provided you bring a leash]
Took dinosaur; left Nokia pouch
Thanks Deb!

Found this in the rain despite our dodgy maths and poor observation skills. Took a squishy toy and cannot remember what we left (sorry). Thanks Kiwideb.
Found by team telefreaks at 9.05pm , this was our second visit as the first time the GPS wasnt working.
This time all was working well.
Great Park - I drive past it every day on the way to work
Thanks

A "not too hard find" . There were some people on little quad bikes riding around the park which made it a little difficult, but found after a 5 min search. TNLN. Thanks Kiwideb.
Would people please stop saying "it was a nice easy find" . We are getting a real complex. We walked upto GZ had a look around the "obvious" spots and then decided that we mucked up the maths and reworked the co-ords, which of course were wrong as well. Got back to the first spot and after being convinced that the gardener had taken it we found it at 1.45pm. tn/ln
Thanks kiwideb - the park is quite colourfull!

Found by caughtatwork at 14:30.
I had been here before lunch time today, but didn't leave myself anywhere near enough time to search as I had to be in town for lunch at 12:15 (I was only 5 minutes late).
Upon returning to this cache area, I found the cache within a minute of getting to GZ. Darn. I wish I'd stayed to look for it having found it so quick. Ah well, what do you do.
I swapped out a blue lizard for a stretchy dinosaur.
Thanks kiwideb, another great park you have led me to (twice, even).

Wandered here after work, just as the sun was beginning to think of setting. Nice easy find, and we added a dinosaur to the cache (think it was a triceratops).
Found by Mary & David at 1235 in company with Justin (Juzmac). Another lovely park. Mary really enjoyed the combination of blues and mauves in the flowers around the monument. Our luck continued with very few people in the park, and they were out of direct sight. Took bouncy ball, left blue glitter. Our thanks to Kiwideb again.
Now this is definately a park worth returning too!!! Absolutely huge!!!! Playgrounds for the young at heart. Big wide open spaces for the more energetic and tonnes of flowers for the green thumbs as well!!!
TNLN. Thanks kiwideb!!!
TNLN. Thanks kiwideb!!!
Found at 6:30. Headed off straight after work with the intent of doing 'Where are the rides' and diverted to this one due to overcrowding. Found fairly quickly among the dog walkers after a very slight miscalculation was rectified. Took nothing but left a blue head thing (it wanted to join all the blue things in the cache). Thanks Kiwideb!
Found at 09:55, 3rd time lucky, the last 2 times I had muggles camped out at the final GZ.
TNLNSL, for some reason I thought this one was smaller and I only brought my pen.
Thanks Kiwideb.

In the area on a aturday morning we decided to attempt this cache and were rewarded with a pleasant stroll around a lovely park. Gatherered the clues and found the cache easily. Did the swaps and were on our way
Thanks Kiwideb

Quite a few people and dogs around today but fortunately none in the vicinity of the cache. Rather soggy underfoot - should have stuck to the paths. TNLN. Thanks Kiwideb. Greg and Bev
Found after about 2 min. I hoped I had the maths right (couldn't remember if BODMAS applied). Started looking for the wrong type of cache then remembered I should know what this one looked like.
This one has genuine wheelchair access!
Tool Larry boy to help him on his way.

Found at 6:10pm. "S" had done this cache with xfking a couple of days ago but dropped me past to complete after picking me up from work. We did pass this park a few weeks ago and thought it may be a good spot for a cache. Then again I now pass every spot and think it may be a good spot for a cache . I see places on TV and think it may be a good place for a cache . This one is very nice though and the flowers are just right at this time of year.
Thanks Kiwideb from D & S B-A.
Took a frog, left TB Filberts Frequent Flyer #1

What a lovely park to place a cache. And even lovelier to be FTF. Only just though. Dak's Emu Mob, Muzza, Alan-san and the Chookies were right behind me. By the time I had the final co-ords figured out,(with Emu-M was keeping me calm), they were right behind me. Just managed to put my hands on it seconds before them. That was just the start of a great day's caching. We caught up with Kiwideb at the first of 4 Team Actioncow caches Muzza had lined up. So then six teams travelled together for the rest of the day. With fine weather, and terrific people enjoying each other's company. What more could you ask for. What a great day. What Grand Final?

This cache was certainly busy today !! In the gathering twilight I quickly did my calculations and with extreme subtlety so as not to draw suspicion from dog-walking muggles, found the cache . TNLN
Cheers kiwideb

On arriving here we met up with Muzza, & Alan-san, and were very privileged to finally meet Daks emu-mob, emu-M, & Barcoder,[^][^][^].
The chicks were a little hard to awaken [|)][|)] & get ready this morning, & as such we missed the start of this cache hunt , but were told to come & join in anyway. It was easy for us as all the work had been done, thanks to the welcoming committee. A quick flash of our new GPS, ( of which we are still learning to fly, & probably will for a long time), & Mother hen took the chicks to the playground whilst the Rooster wrote in the log book. Incidentally, the playground here is great for the kids, plenty of open viewable area for the chicks to run free, & was a great way for the chicks to start into the caching day. Thanks Kiwideb Took: TB Left: Teflon tape

DAK had been in contact with Barcoder earlier in the day and was led to believe she was out shopping. On arrival at this cache, we parked behind her car, and discovered her nearby, already looking for the cache (in the wrong location thankfully. I guess librarians aren't renknowned for their mathematical skills???? ).
While DAK, Alan-san and myself procured the required answers to the questions, Emu-M gave Barcoder a lesson in maths after which they headed to the real GZ. Shortly afterwards, we arrived, only to be beaten to it by Barcoder.
Not much later, the Chookies hooked up with us there for the rest of the day and the combined assault team (CAT) was close to completion. I took a dolphin and left the glitter stars. Thanks, Deb, for a great little cache.

Barcoder was to join us at some time during the day. I called her (she was out shopping, she said) to tell her we'd meet her at "Top of Tomato Hill". When we arrived at the park, we parked behind her car! Hmmmmm! There was obviously some skullduggery afoot! We found her in the park. The race was on! Alan-san, muzza, and dak gathered the information, did the maths, and arrived at the real GZ. Emu-M had assisted auntie barcoder with the maths, and we all started the hunt. As it turned out barcoder beat us to it, and secured the FTF at 1030. Chookies joined us too at this cache, so we now had five teams in our eastern suburbs clean up. TNLNSL.

Arrived at the location to find Barcoder hard at work and nearing the find... so with a quick bit of investigation Muzza, Dak's and myself set out getting the required clues and joined in the search. Barcoder beat us! Not long after Team Chookies came to the party and joined in a straight forward find. Time for a group photo. This newly formed crowd formed the basis of the geo-group for the rest of the day (later joined by Kiwideb). It's also really good seeing the sping blooms out, photo included.

This is another park around the area that i didn't know existed, but i have driven nearby many times just not down this part of the road. I took with my S.B-A from team rabbitto and S.M. I did all the working out and S from team rabbitto found the goods before I did. An easy find and a good place to hide it. Thanks for a great cache from M.B, S.B-A and S.M.
