TeamCrackers this is a great site. Visited today and could see where the cache would have been. However the coordinates actually directed me to 25m away at another statue. Will revisit when this is back online.
We visited here today and found there has been a lot of remodeling going on and GZ has been removed. (this has been happening a bit lately) We did not have the right sort of container with us so we will return soon and re jig the cache.
I don't know what happened here. My GPS put me 40m from the man at a sitting cow which despite having a rather good hiding place underneath revealed nothing. Allowing for the clue I still came up empty handed. Could they have been moved around?
We will try and get out there this week and see what has been moved and fix up the cache page to suit
I think this is the date I found this one. Picked this one up on a sunny day after lunch at a friends place in Poowong.
Easy find. Great location.
Thanks.

nice site but my young son wanted to know what was the picture that was carved on his backside. took coin left caterpiller for the magpie.
Found on a wet and wild day. Logbook was full so I added a new one. Took koala, left sun keyring.
thanks.
thanks.
These things always bring to mind a picture. Let's say the bird - the guy is just finishing off the RHS of the beak and he is startled by something over his left shoulder - WOOPS! BUGGER! Thanks Team Crackers for showing us (note us) these ones.
Quick find after i located his billy. Rainy miserable day, to good to waste staying home so off i go caching!! 8th of 16 today. View would be great if it wasn't raining. Would be good to be able to carve wood like that.

Nice drive through the hills to find this cache. Wood work was great as were the views!
T Dice L Crocodile, Thanks.
T Dice L Crocodile, Thanks.
Found by edmil and maddie. As we have already completed a number of caches in this series we were hell bent on adding thing one to our finds. So after a coffee break and wander through some damn expensive antique shops, we yet again detoured from our journey to Leongatha. I hadn't driven this way before, the views and the drive was fantastic. We located the cache without a problem. The wooden work is really well done. Thanks for the cache. TNLN.
Wind blowing a gale and absolutely freezing - just right for a cache or 3. Wonderful sculpting. TFTC.

Found on 06/10/06 @ 1709 AEST. Great views and a very handy parking space made for a most enjoyable find. The creations were interesting too

Well done Dean. Great work. SG cold wet and windy. Found the cache today as one of two. Going to Loch next for Lonesome Soldier. Guess the weather will be the same there. Happy Birthday Adrian and Max.
this one was to easy thanks so much we were going over the hill and need a dog stop
The Swaggies found this cache @ 16:30 hrs on the way home from Wonthaggi. As soon as we read the info we knew where it was. Always a good spot to stop and the views today were fantastic.
Took Big Bird.
Left Koala
Hello to the fellow cachers who went past tooting the horn, (whoever they were).

Jaky Dory & Geogundog found this cache this afternoon on a return visit from Waratah Bay where we dropped off "Dude" TB, so decided to visit this cache and pick up "Monty P The Lumberjack Bear" TB. Loved the view and the carvings. Had previously heard about another carving, but we found out it had been destroyed by drunks!
Snails and a small lizard were sharing the spot with the cache.
Took dinosaur stamp
Left Big Bird
Thanks for a great cache.

Found 14:10, this cache is now sharing it's hidden location with a very large number of snails [xx(] We're sure that on a day with better weather we would have got a really nice view.
TNLN, thanks Team Crackers.

Another cache on my quest to drop off the TB's that I recently collected from NZ. This container was just big enough. I thought that this was appropriate for Monty P the Lumberjack Bear. Thanks Team Crackers.
Found ahead of Spykids, Caleb and last of all Muzza - which he found quite surprising. The art work is rather amazing and goes to back up what I have come to find out - that Victoria has a wealth of artists.
Took a Homer figurine and left supper glue. Caleb also took TB "Happy BDay 3".

After admiring the artists work, those in our group that hadn't done this cache previously began searching. After a little while, everyone seemed to be standing around doing nothing except watch me with a big smirk on their faces. Darn - they'd all found it before me. A quick retrace of my steps allowed me to find what I'd previously missed by looking in the wrong direction.
These are very well done. I especially admired the statue of the man. I wished I had taken a photo but didn't think of it at the time. Thanks for another in this wonderful series. By my reckoning, if no more new WW caches are planted, I only have two more to complete the series.

On a visit from Tassie, staying with friends nearby, took the opportunity to take Geo-Dad and Geo-host for a drive to see the wooden sculptures. Beautiful day, beautiful views. Found easily. Took golf ball, left Happy Birthday TB and dinosaur stamp - took a few goes to get it all to fit in! Thanks for this one, Team Crackers.
On the way home from a quite week-end on the coast, nice easy find. the container is now quite full. Tried out the new stamp before travelling to Ireland to find a few caches. Took lanyard will be most usefull, left sticky note pad.
Twelfth of 14 finds in West Gippsland in company with Rahb. Rahb had found this one previously, so he wisely stayed in the car--the day was turning decidedly chilly! I checked several places before finally spying it at 1725. It was wedged in there, but I managed to extract it. The cache is chock full of goodies, and I had to remove all of them to get at the log book. The next challenge was fitting them all back in. All-in-all, an eventful cache! By the way, I loved the wooden work. That's 24 down, none to go (until Team Crackers puts out another one )! Thanks to Team Crackers for the cache.
I found my first Wooden Work on 14 September 2004; it was my 500th cache find. Now, almost a year and over 1000 cache finds later, I'm finally completing the series. It has been an interesting journey along the way, and I have seen an awful lot of Victoria in the process. My favourite cache was Wooden Work 8, but I also really enjoyed Wooden Work 5 and this one. Thanks heaps to Team Crackers for a really great series! [^]

A great view on a cold but clear winter day. Some great works of art!
Took ball, left party popper.

With antique shopping continuing nearby and this one only a short drive away, off I set for a quick find (hopefully). I arrived at the spot and briefly admired the views that our friend sees all the time. With time short though, I had to decode the clue and found the cache straight away at 15:15. (You don't know what happens to me if I take too long caching but Basil's "she'd have to sew them back on first" statement will give you an idea .)
Left a Homer and took a mondo figurine. The Matriarch TB admired the views too but continued her journey.
Thanks for another great WW cache Team Crackers.

Found this one after a day visiting my Mum on a trip back home from Denver. We got here just after dark but were still able to find it. I would have love to have seen these wonderful carvings in the daylight, but time does not permit. Thanks for taking us to a place we would have never visited otherwise.
Found this one on a short detour to Traralgon, nice little town. Not much happening, it is like everybody is asleep!.
TNLN Thanks Team Crackers

While on a caching mission we took a little detour and stopped off for this cache, and we are glad we did.
The cache was found easily and we spent a bit of time exploring the cache and the surrounding area.
Many thanks Team Crackers for the cache, the series gets better with every new cache.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the “Put down that Chainsaw Michael†Clan.

Found at 2.20pm on our way home from our Easter holiday. Very impressive work - I saw these guys do some chainsaw work at the Tarwin Lower Hotel a few years ago. They have different size saws for the detail. Took: Highlight pen, Left: Golf ball. Thanks Team crackers.
Found at 10.30 with maccamob. Very impressive creation and good hiding spot. Took cuticle cutter and left bottle opener. Thanks Crackers!
Found by Mary & David with GeoJo for company at 1030, on our way to the "21 Again" Event. Loved the sculptures. The rolling hills looked very green, and we enjoyed the views on our roundabout way to Dargo and beyond. Took mondo doll, left nail polish. Our thanks to Team Crackers - sorry you couldn't make it this time.
First of two finds on my way home from working in Leongatha. The chainsaw work is fantastic. Have seen some of these guys and gals actually doing the carving at shows. I've tried two at home but rather than make something totally new from the lump of wood I've worked with its natural shape to fine tune it into something. The cache was very easy to find as it was uncovered so I tried to conceal it a little better. The last visitor before me was the Pajero 4 x 4 Club! Not geocaching but searching for the "holy grail' according to the entry at Lonesome Soldier which they also found. The views were also fantastis. Thanks Team Crackers
Took magnetic key holder. Left highlighter and ball.

I was impressed by the work that has gone into these creations and also the views over the local valley. TNLNSL. Thanks for getting me to see this!
This was our last cache for the day and we had found 5 out of 6 up until here.
Easy find by the team whilst the GPSr was still in the car.
Fantastic creations and a strange, out-of-the-way place.
Took Seal/Walruss figure, Left reflector.

This was my chance to get my FTF, but I wasn't in luck today. Team Rabbitto was was in force, and his GPS must have had a better lock on than mine. Mine was reading 0 and I was searching close to the ground behind some odly placed looking sticks when I heard. "Found it" oh well, maybe more luck next time. I wonder how long these took to make, it sure is good to see sculptures that make a couple of old tree trunks look impressive. Thanks from M.B and S.M. TNLN

Found at 12:45pm. Our first stop on our tour of the Phillip Island / Wonthaggi area in company with xfking and S.M. Although this one is a couple of months old, the FTF was still on offer and with two teams in the car, the race was on. After a few minutes searching, we came up with the prize. The hiding spot was unexpected as to its actual location within the structure .
Thanks Team Crackers from D & S B-A. The drive in and out again on winding roads through some of the hills and valleys made it a quite worthwhile diversion. Took Nothing Left Nothing.
