This is the middle of nowhere... but still nice Smile I was here with swismiss10. We went south to Coral Bay. The track was a bit corrugated but other than that really good. And it really is kind of obvious where the cache will be. I am quite sure you can see that a kilometer away already. And thanks for the series although we did not claim all the caches of it.

Cache was found laying on the ground out in the open, but otherwise OK. Tried to replace a bit more securely - hopefully it won't blow back out or be dislodged again. TFTC

Day 10 and the 44th find for K-Maximus and myself on our 5512km / 12 day whirlwind tour of the north west that we shall call the North West Wander Geoquest.

Walked to the well first before looking at the GPS. Should know better by now.

Found it OK while spending some pleasant time camped on the beach in South Lefroy camping area. Saw turtles, snorkeled and saw many colourfull fish among the coral as well as wales breaching out of the water behind in breakers. TN LN THFH

Found the cache when holidaying at Ningaloo for Easter. I took some friends with me so it was their first find. Took nothing, left travel bug! I am going to do the series in reverse.

We have camped at Ningaloo Station before. Love it. This cache was in such a lonely place; we felt sorry for it!

24-Dec-09
We missed the turn off and drove on for another 20kms before realised it so went back and found the track but there was no sign post! The track towards Ningaloo Station was very rough so Mr Bushies2 let out some air in the tyres which helped a bit. Enjoyed the journey because it reminded us of our home in East Kimberley. There was a kangaroo hopping away from the cache which surprised us! Ms Bushies2 found it quickly and the cache is still in good condition. Thanks Wayne and Kathryn - Team Red Roo for bringing us to many caches along Ningaloo.

There were heaps of sheep and goats around the well today. Found the cache in the post box. Thx Team Red roo for placing so many caches around the Exmouth area. We have enjoyed the tour. Missed a couple of the well series, scored 8 out of ten though.

Drove past this one without even realising - caught us off guard, as expecting harsher terrain [:o] Had just passed a car towing a camper and 4WD towing a caravan and not keen to have to pass them again so carried on our way towards Yardie Creek. Thanks anyway Smile

Once we got there we saw what the additional hint meant, its a pretty barren landscape! The container was still hidden and in good condition.

Found the cache after holidaying in coral bay. The cache was in a plastic container when we found it. Met a few large billy goats at the cache. TFTH

The container has been replaced. I'd appreciate if future finders could replace it as far in as possible (only about 10 inches anyway) and put the rocks in front of the container. This may help to stop it from coming out again, though it was probably pulled out by either a echidna or a 'brownie'.

Back to the real world now that the holidays are over. Can the next cacher please bring a replacemetn container as the existing one was shattered. Log book has been rehidden in what I hope is still going to be waterproof.

Continuing south onto Ningaloo Station we found the next cache. Unfortunately the cache container was lying on the floor shattered. We were able to locate the cache notebook and put back in the original location to keep out of the weather. We had no replacement containers (whoops..they were back at the camp), sorry about that Wayne & Kathryn.

Can the next cachers please bring a replacement container.

Thanks for the hunt.

Found this one on our very bumpy drive down the coast to Coral Bay...what a road...bounced the brain around for about 4 hours. Good to get out of the car for a walk.

Found this one easy enough, this is a great part of the coast line, spent the night camping at Ningaloo, slep on the beach under a great moon.

I have had four weeks working up on the cape and it has been great having so many caches to get me out and about on my days off. Thanks Team Red Roo. TNLN

Did Addicted to Caching earlier on in the day but the sign at the entrance to Ningaloo Station was impassable to all vehicles. The drive into this cache on this rough corroguted road shows more of an addiction and then the return.

We were actually the third to find as Team Trout seems to have done the series in April.

We then had to turn back down the corrugated road and camped the night on the road back to Coral Bay.

TNLN Look forward to doing more

We found this cache sort of by accident. We had been scoping out the old whaling station in the hopes of placing a cache there (a task we will attempt yet again, and again, and again, just to say we did it!!) Anyway after driving down the washboard road known as the Ningaloo Road, we arrived around the Pt Cloates area and some interesting sites. Our travels brought us to one of the many homes in the area and my wife went to ask directions. No one was home, but some goats decided to play "gaurd dog" with me and I had to keep two of them at bay by grabing their horns and locking them to each other. Really nice!

Anyway it became apparant that we were unprepared for the trek to the whaling station so we proceeded to the cache. Found it quick enough. Nice area, kind of a desolate beauty. Anyway we took a whistle and left a part animal button. Cool place though!
