Looks like the gardeners don't like this cache, the same thing happened last year when the roses were pruned, the cache disappeared.

06-Jul-07
Looked long and hard for this one. The roses had just been pruned and the garden bed covered with mulch. Wondered if the cache has been moved or muggled.
We will check it out on our next trip through Strath.
Have never seen so much water in the river - a welcome sight.
Cheers

Found this one while Miss Mousie was shopping. Clever hide. TNLN - thanks.

28-Apr-07
Great hide, well done!!

Thanks

JSKNICHOLSON

26-Apr-07
a quick find in the pouring rain, no muggles today. TFTC

18-Apr-07
Great hiding place took a while to find because of the muggles. Took little pig and left a clip.
Thanks.

12-Mar-07
Found at 12:07. We were on our way home from a nice weekend at Pt Elliot. We stopped here, partly to finally get this cache, but also just to enjoy the beautiful afternoon in this park.
Found the cache quickly (sorry to those two DNFs before me - I knew where it was from my own previous DNF). Accidentally let the dog go, she went full speed for the ducks, didn't brake in time, and skidded into the water. Very funny. Stayed for lunch, took the dog for a walk along the river, lay on the grass and read for a while. A great afternoon. Thank Jeckyl for the most relaxing cache ever.

12-Mar-07
Looked in every likely spot, even inside the sprinkler boxes! but to no avail.

11-Mar-07
I came ... I tried ... I failed.
A couple likely spots held no treasure.
Very busy spot.

30-Jan-07
Cache container replaced today. One thing I forgot was to add a stash note to the box - if the next person to visit the cache could take one along I'd appreciate it, thanks.

21-Jan-07
Sorry about that Team Uni's. Mr J has had some serious health issues that had us put geocaching on the back burner for a while. Also changed email address and obviously missed some log notifications. Red Face We are just getting back into the swing of things after Christmas, and actually did a couple of caches last week. We hope to get to Strath within the next month.

19-Jan-07
I couldn't find this one. Based on info from JackHenry I'm pretty confident this cache is not there.
No comment from Team Jeckyl for half a year since it was first reported missing.

Not sure if this one still exists. Hunted high and low and turned up nothing. Then read log. Is it still there?

16-Jul-06
found where i believe cache was but looks like muggles have been there

11-Jun-06
Last one for the day with Team Ermalish and too cold to continue on. TFTC

11-Jun-06
It may have been a cold day but there were certainly lots of Muggles around. Gardens would be nice when flowering! Took rubber thong left dice

11-Jun-06
Found 13:50. 4th of 6 FFTD. Last of 4 cache's with Chizbeki. Just finished lunch at the nearby playground, let the geokids burn off some excess energy. Seems that the council has recently undertaken some redesigning of the landscaped area, and spreading the old blood-and-bone around rather thickly. Unfortuneately for the cache, it stuck out like a sore thumb. TNLNSL. Rehide a little better than when we found it, hope it doesn't get muggled until the plants are re-established. TFTC

27-May-06
Beautiful spot on a sunny Saturday morning. Could have stayed for the day. Makes me want to move to Strath!! Thanks for the warming experience.

17-Apr-06
Nice spot. Had to wait a while due to muggles, but there were definately more ducks than anything today due to rain. Took badge/key left mood necklace, SL.

14-Apr-06
Walked around the area by myself at sunset, but decided that the woman across the street was watching a little too closely. So went back to the car and forced Ms Shonky to accompany me (in the cold wind). The woman left by this time, so it was a quick find. TNLN.
We were married in the church nearby in 1999, coming back here brought back many memories. Luckily we're still married with a little shonky on the way.

01-Apr-06
Found with Lin. Did not stay long this time. Visting cousin in Strath.
TNLN

09-Mar-06
Found by JackHenry 9/3/06 @ 13:05
We went during the week because of the popularity of this area for families of muggles. Who would have thought that someone would be getting married during the week in the rotunda not 20 metres away. Lots of muggles in tuxedo's and ties. Quick sit down, bend, grab, swap, slip and stand. We may be in some of the wedding photos.
Took Melbourne Bus Ticket and left Aussie Thong Fridge Magnet. SL

19-Feb-06
Found @ 11:00

Plenty of muggles fishing nearby.

T: Buttons
L: New logbook

Found on a lovely day, the 2nd of 3 Team Jeckyl cache today! Park was full of kidmuggles, don't they go to school here? [:o)] Seemed to be something going on in town, was very very busy! A very sneaky hide, found whilst 'on the phone'! Wink
TNLNSL
Thanks

22-Jan-06
As it was my son's 2nd birthday today, we stopped in here, found a cache and fed the ducks with the cheap feed available across the road......we spent an hour or more with the animals, as he thought he was in heaven.

Thanks for the cache and the chance to celebrate our son's birthday in style.

Agsmky

08-Jan-06
This time I opened my eyes and found da cache within 2 seconds next time i'll read other peoples logs just so i know it is a sneaked hide.

Took Dalmation dog and Left Lamb
Thanks Team Jeckyl

06-Jan-06
Lovely park, and a great excuse for a breakfast stop! Took shark badge, left a key. Thanks Team Jeckyl.

02-Jan-06
Very pretty spot here by the banks of the river. An obvious but very crafty hiding spot. Plenty of muggles around so sat down and took our time. Took earplugs and left blie squishy frog.

01-Jan-06
Could not find it, searched everywhere in the obvious spot but no avail, thanks anyway for showing us this nice area.

26-Dec-05
Sat down to think about it and found it right under under my ……. I saw what seemed to be a few muggle entries so have pushed it a bit further under. TFTH TNLNSL

24-Dec-05
Quite a few people enjoying the park, but none within cooee of GZ. Took nail-file keyring, left water-savers fridge magnet. Cheers!

07-Dec-05
A quick find on our stop in strath for an iced coffee. Dodged the council workers nearby.

TNLNSL

06-Dec-05
A pleasant sunny afternoon for some Southern geocaching @ 18.00h. It appears some muggle kids have been writing in the log book in October and November but they did put the cache back. Took - Computer network T piece. Left - 2 old 1960's badges. TFTC

14-Oct-05
Well hidden and a great spot!
No trade.
Greetings, Thomas & Birgit (Germany)

24-Sep-05
very cunning cache placement.... sat down and ate my hotdog and casually retrieved cache.... great spot.... lots of ducks...and duck droppings Smile TNLN

cheers for cache Smile

14-Sep-05
Area deserted today, but still did the "have to tie my shoelace" thing - twice.

10-Sep-05
What a beautiful park. Very clean and well kept. Finding the cache looked as though it may be a bit difficult, but then the obvious (and only) spot revealed itself. Took silver Klem teddy, left voogoofish badge and thong keychain. Thanks Jeckyl.

23-Aug-05
Found easily in the dark. Thought it may have gone, but still there. Nice cache. Signed log book, no swaps.

07-Aug-05
Found by Stanleys at 14.00 on a muggle busy Sunday! Found GZ, then spotted the cache in its hiding place, but had to wait a few moments for muggles to pass before retreiving! Be on your toes with this one, with all the people watching! TNLNSL. Cheers!

05-Aug-05
Roses pruned so thought it may have gone. Then Mrs. Klem had an idea and found it. Didn't have another pen that would fit in to replace the broken one - sorry. Took eraser and left dog and Klem Bear. Thanks Team Jeckyl.

31-Jul-05
We love to visit this spot and plenty of Muggles around today - no problems with a geokid though. Great hiding spot, found easily. Sorry, had nothing to replace the biro with, you'll have to take your own pen/pencil.Thanks for the cache, nice to have one in this area.
TNLNSL

25-Jul-05
Stopped here on my way to Goolwa but could not find it, GZ was around the steps. All the roses and flowers have been cut back to nothing so maybe cache has been found.

17-Jul-05
Good ole Angus, we Knew him well. Found Angus easily and got reaquainted, many many muggles but a great place for a picnic lunch. Thanks

05-Jul-05
Came to Strath today looking at second battery options for the GeoDisco.
Found the cache easily around 3.15 before heading back home to Adelaide. Not too many muggles around on this glorious sunny Tuesday afternoon. Took Smiley Face magnet and left Metcard tickets.
Thanks for bringing us here Team Jeckyll. We've picnicked here a few times in the past, and we'll come back again.

23-Jun-05
Lovely little park, you can see how it would get a lot of use in the warmer months, fortunately it was nearly vacant today making for a nice easy find in these very pleasant settings
TNLN
Thanks once again Team Jeckly

13-Jun-05
Found quickly by TimTam while others created a diversion ... you know ... making a lot of noise and carrying on like pork chops. Well with 3 children in tow it ain't that hard. Thanks Team Jeckyl

13-Jun-05

On way home from weekend at Middleton stopped for a while and found while children played.

Thanks Team Jeckly

11-Jun-05
Visited this one today, it was a good excuse to make the trip out to Strath. Excellent hidey hole, in a wonderful park. One half of TeamMinx noted that she had "never seen so many park benches that are dedicated to people". I guess that says something about the town's heritage.
No swaps today ... thanks for bringing us here!

05-Jun-05
We had already spent an hour or so walking around the town, checking out the Antique shops, and had decided this was a good spot for a new cache without realising there was one here already. That'll teach us to turn on our GPS. Great hiding spot. Took Lizard, left Eraser

04-Jun-05
Had to wait about 45 minutes due to muggles before I could get a run at this one. We had done some initial reconnaissance. So we had a good idea were to head.
Decided to have some lunch while we waited. Once the way clear we rapidly move in and out. No swaps just a quick note in the log.

27-May-05
Great spot in the middle of town... things getting crowded in cache so took giant clip and gingerbread man shape maker... left Koala Keyring (who only travelled a small way from Angas Exercise) I'm sure he will find a good home. muggles seriously a problem here so be careful not to wreck this one!!!

24-May-05
Lovely spot here in a beautiful town.

Had many a picnic here!

Lovely spot on a fast caching day

Cheers
Mike

With all the muggles around this was a bit of a challenge, so a direct approach was needed. Sue and Noleen engaged the three sitting on the nearby bench while Wayne and I did the find and log thing. And what better way to engage the muggles than to tell them exactly what we were doing and what geocaching was all about, whereupon the older lady in the group remarked "Oh, I heard that on the radio the other morning." so we had no problems with them, they were quite interested in the whole technology thing.
We took a finger puppet and the TravelerTag, a new thing for me. Left some other stuff that I can't remember. Thanks Jeckles, a very pretty location.

20-Feb-05
Very pretty location and we managed to extract the cache without attracting any attention. Took eraser and left frog. Thanks Team Jeckyl

20-Feb-05
Third time luck for me. First time the park was full of muggles. Second time the park was empty so I parked the car only to discover I was being watched by a couple of muggles with binoculars Surprised from a first floor balcony across the road. Third time the park only had a couple of people in it so I put on my suspicious look and went for it. Found pretty easilly. The Jeckyls co-ordinates are always spot on. Took nothing left nothing.

10-Feb-05
Found by Barry and Beryl at 4.35 pm
It was a lovely sunny afternoon and the roses were looking lovely, it was an easy find because the coordinates were spot on today.
We took a red frog and left a Blue lizard and a flower eraser.
I dropped off Ray&Rose Nickel (Traveler Tag #T18324) here. Please help move it along!
Thanks for a lovely spot Team Jeckyl

22-Jan-05
What a stunningly beautiful park in the centre of a great little town. You’re right Team Jeckyl, this place certainly needs some caches, and I can’t believe yours is the only one? Found the cache loc after pretending to be an avid landscape and architectural photographer Cool The only muggle I really had to contend with was one that was laying on the opposite bank with his girlfriend. Had to wait until he was ‘preoccupied’ to retrieve, log and return it Big Grin. Took a “Just Looking†badge and left a cow finger puppet. Thanks for bringing me here Team Jeckle

14-Jan-05
one last SA cache on the way home from a fantastic holiday.
great town stoped and looked around some of the antique (junk/treasure) shops, picked up a couple of old matchbox cars for my collection. great park, heaps of ducks to feed. while looking for the cache, in the rose bushes i found a golf ball and a mini kelidescope, wow free swaps for later. love the hiding spot walked over it until a saw a rock sticking out.
TNLN
thanks.

10-Jan-05
Not a particularly hard find once I spotted the location, and the muggle factor was low on a Monday. Plus it might have been a bit hot for them! Took a gecko and left a badge. Never had a good look around Strath before, took the time to have a stroll up the main street. Cheers Team Jeckyl!

09-Jan-05
After the local swimming carnival finished for the day and quick drive around one corner we found the cache. After MiniZyth2 found it I noticed an old pair of muggles looking in our direction from the other side of the river. The MiniZyths then put their over the top acting into place examining the garden and flowers whilst sliding the cache back into position. TNLN

02-Jan-05
Nice Cache, on a nice day for a picnic. Plenty of muggles about, so tried to be discreet.
Samark.

05-Dec-04
Plenty around is a bit of an understatement on a Sunday morning me thinks! Very clever hiding spot (yet again!) And pretty as well. Cheers. TNLNSL

04-Dec-04
We did a walk around town earlier and our guess at the spot was "spot on" when we returned after dinner at 8:30pm. We were staying at the nearby Gasworks B&B, throughly recommend it and Bill & Heather's hospitality. TNLNSL

Thanks Team Jeckyl

Cheers P&F (no M&M this weekend!)

03-Dec-04
Last find on the way to Supersplash.

Just where I would have hidden it - what a lovely park.

Angus looked quite healthy!

Thanks!!

03-Dec-04
found with All Cached Up on way to Super Splash

TNLN
thanx

25-Nov-04
There were lots of muggles over at the swimming pool, but they were all preoccupied in escaping the heat. The co-ordinates were spot on, and the hiding location was spotted as I approached. The cache was found at 2:40.

I took a Velcro cable tie and left a stick on gecko hook. Thanks, Team Jeckyl, for the cache and introducing me to such a lovely location.

22-Nov-04

I was diverted this way due to the traffic jam. Cops were everywhere directing the clasic car race. 100000 muggles here today. Luckily, they were all looking at the $500,000 mercs.
I left a Mylor spoon and took a weird tool.
Clear skies and thanks, TeamAstro
(see traffic jam pics).

20-Nov-04
Sallymander's Family Bunker is situated less than 400m from GZ. We have walked through this park many times. The nearby duck racing has to be seen to be believed.

Neat cache. Co-ordinates were absolutely spot on. 0.0m

20-Oct-04
Found by Mary & David at 1205. Perfect sunshine, glorious roses and a bakery across the road. Delightful! Not many people near GZ so we had a clear run searching. Then there were the ducks. We saw proud parents with 10 ducklings. Took bottle opener, left carabiner. Our thanks to Team Jeckyl.

19-Oct-04
What a beautiful Spring day in this lovely little town.
I am a greedy one. The temptation was too much. Three little virgins in a row today.
I couldn't tell where it was and considered that the original posted co-ordinates could be wrong...no I was just not opening my eyes.
TN Left - Mini Glo Stick.
Thanks Team Jeckyl for a nice early morning walk with the locals.

17-Oct-04
We broght Bow Tie Duck to this lake, but unfortunately he wouldn't fit in the cache box. We'll find him another location soon.
