As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The cache has been missing for over a year, is it time to archive?

Will try and replace this one in the new year.

No luck finding this one either. If was where it appears to have been it will have been washed during a very high tide.

Not found by sbalogh53 around 5pm on 28/8/2005.

I followed all the clues and got to the GZ fairly easily. The walk was pleasant and the views were lovely.

The cache, however, was missing. I am sure I had the right spot and also looked in many other nearby obvious spots but there was nothing to be found. I wonder if it has been muggled? Or possibly washed out to sea during a recent storm. A large wave could easily swamp the whole area around the GZ and take any local cache right out to sea.

Tried this one whilst in the area. Failed to find the carved name in the second clue. There are many names none of them legible.

A recent report indicates that this cache may be MIA.

Be warned Sad

We attempted this one at night in the pouring rain.
All was fine until waypoint 2 when we couldn't read the name carved in the rail with torches.
We elected to try again when next in area.
Great area

After 13 years we finally returned to the Prom, but now we have 2 kids to reduce the walking pace. The destination of this trip was also where the better half wanted to go. We found the waypoints without any trouble and my eldest son found the cache while I was waiting for the GPS to settle down. Much to the kids delight, "it" needed a good oil. After the kids got their clothes very wet we walked back to camp.

Took Sam, Left car and umbrella.

Thanks again BB.

Found the first clue easily enough, but lots of Muggles at the second made it difficult. Being a promite from way back, I knew were the 3 & 4th clues were but seeing I had J2 and C with me, tracked them down and solved them as well. Found the general area of the cache and as I was telling J2 where to look C spotted it. Took little rubbery robot and left prom pencil sharpner. Also left a pen as there was none in the cache.

Found with NarreYouth on the 3rd day of a 4 day camp at the Prom. The name hinted as to the particular part of the prom which it may be at, but that was about all. We had a few hiccups at the second waypoint as a few other visitors to the "spot" had decided to leave their mark also. With a call to the Muzza help line, & assistance from the main bear himself, we found our way further.

Having hiked this pleasant track the day before, we thought we knew where all of the remaining waypoints were. Some how we were right. The walk is pleasant, and the views of different parts of the prom from diffent points of this cache hunt were nothing short of wonderful. Great final location, some fantastic photography to be had here. & a lot of fun for myself & the boys who spent a Long time around this spot.
TNLN Thanks Biggles Bear for a good cache & amazing location.

Left camp at 0600, and got stumped on the handrail waypoint trying to work out next waypoint numbers. We already knew the location of waypoint number 4.

Found at 0800 hours, after 10 minutes. Great location - I love the locality around In Need Of oil.

TNLN. Thanks for a great cache BigglesBear

P.S. March flies ate us Very Happy

Found by team Telefreaks on a warm (32 degrees) day.
Took younger sister but left her at the track junction(just as well, as she is jinxed and we never find anything with her)
We had some trouble with the data from the 2nd clue to find the 3rd WaypointSad, but found the memorial plaque easily as we had often traveled this path before. Passed a Blue tongue lizard sunning himslef just before the plaque. Found the cahce after 5 minutes of looking, we then left to go for a swim.
Took Kookaburra left a stretchy robot. Lots and lots of muggles in the area.
Thanks BB

Lots of walking this weekend - wish you could ride bikes around these tracks [xx(]. Had some trouble with the data on the second clue to find the 3rd waypoint, but we perservered and soon came across the cache at 3.15pm. Took: TB Jon's camp blanket and Shot glass, Left: Mini flash light.
Thanks BB for making the walk even more interesting.
