This one's had a good run. I am archiving it. I may replace later if no-one else places a cache here.
I went and had a look for the cache tonight. Where I presume it originally was, was a plastic zip lock bag with a printed clear plastic note inside saying "this is a geocache ...do not disturb... etc"
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the cache is missing.
No debris or any evidence of its existance anywhere.

Got ya this time! Found it pretty quickly. The muggles were pretty close to it the other day so I definately wouldn't have been able to sneek in and out again.

Went in around 16:00 after coming out from the shops. Cool reserve with lots of hopping baskets! Found GZ pretty quickly but followed some muggles in, dunno if they were caching but where I wanted to look for the cache some more muggles were yabbying so had to leave it there for another day. Upset as this was my last cache for the day.

I had some trouble finding my way in, but the effort was definitely worth it. When I was finally able to enter I was surrounded by a small mob of kangaroos paying me only the most cursory attention. I passed a kangaroo feeding an almost fully weaned joey too big to fit in the pouch. Magic. Oh, I found the cache as well.
Found with geo tool low on batteries, day low on light and weather low on dry.... So, a little drenched but cache found....

This one took me for a nice walk, once I figured out where to park (bottom of O'Meara, as it turned out). I saw a couple of roos/wallabies (I still need to learn the difference between them) and also some human walkers. I came across the logbook very easily, for it had been muggled, and some kid had written a note in it. I hid it where I thought the container was meant to be, but it will need to be replaced. Thankfully the logbook was dry enough to sign.
Found during a night Geocaching search, got off the train then walked to this nice area, a few of the locals looked at me as I walked around, then they jumped away....TNLN Should have read the page before going as I didn't get the clues for the other cach, will go back sometime and get them...

Found @1450 by Johnny Mud, Mrs Mud and GeoSam (less the GeoMutts due to dog restrictions) during a nice stroll through the park. We had driven by heaps, but never gotten around to dropping in. Wow - what a great place. Almost feel 1000000 miles away when walking through. Like most people before us we enjoyed the boomers lazing about in the mid-afternoon sun near the creek line.

Checked the container and all is ok. I have replaced the log book in a plastic bag. As I was walking to the cache, a young lady and several children were coming the other way. They saw my spare container and asked if it was a cache.
I introduced myself as the owner and explained what I was doing. She was Angelina and one of her kids had found it yesterday by accident. She had returned today and kindly left a small log book - Thanks!

As mentioned above, the logbook needs replacing, and possibly the cache container too - felt like one of the clips wasnt closing properly.
Not sure how the C&C gang could have missed the Boomers - they were EVERYWHERE!!!! Lordy there were some big males! Had to walk very carefully at times when they were stood up and watching us - forget about the muggles, it's the Roos we were worried about haha!
Great reserve that we had no idea existed! So thanks for bringing us there.
When we opened the cache, the first thing I noticed was condensation on the lid, followed by DS pulling out a manky, sodden, mildewy logbook, which - no offence, but - we declined to sign.

This is one of those magical places where you could be a thousand miles from home instead of being in a large city. The C&C gang really enjoyed the walk. The cache itself was an easy find.
Geodaughter spotted a kangaroo, which everybody else saw except me who was trying to figure out the next blank log page. The log order appears to have become somewhat random on the backwards pass through the book!
Thanks muzza - great place. TNLN.

Made time again to walk down and find this, the closest cache to my house. The first time I tried a few weeks ago there were four muggles sitting right on top of it having a picnic.

Came back today, still locked, ah, but on closer inspection, thats for vehicles only, not skinny humans.
So, breathing in, in we went, found cache - logbook is slightly damp, and then out again. Didn't see any kangaroos today, but did earlier. Thanks Muzza.

Visited today to replace the container. It's been a while since I have been here and everything looks very dry.
Found open, presumably muggled: the logs were out of the cache (but only damp, not wet) and some of the contents were on the ground.
I emptied the water from the cache, dried it, put the log books in a ziplock bag and replaced the cache. (Given the position of the cache container, I don't believe the muggles actually moved it, merely opened it in place and extracted some of the contents.)

The container is starting to break at the point it clips closed. It doesn't need fixing urgently, but it's unlikely to be completely watertight.
Nice spot for a cache. The box is showing signs of wear and not sealing properly.

Took a while to find our way in. Getting hot which might be why we didn't see any wildlife? Many thanks.
While on a volunteer day with Conservation Volunteers Australia, I remembered to bring the Garmin along. As it happens this cache was about 200 metres from where we were planting native grasses. so during our break the boss and I went out and found it, before returning to the task of weeding. A thoroughly enjoyable day, with lots of wildlife (kangaroos, lizards, kookaburras, etc...) so close to suburbia and great spot for a cache

Nice to have a find after my lack of success at another cache earlier in the day and despite the fact that my GPSr seemed a bit navigationally challenged when I first arrived near GZ. Fortunately there was a likely looking cache spot in view ... and that was, indeed, the spot (so why couldn't I find the earlier cache?!!!). This was a lovely area that I didn't know about before today; it's just a pity that it is so dry. TNLNSL; TFBMH (thanks for bringing me here).

Found at 1345. Came looking for this a week or so ago, but could not get throught the fence. Decided to try another approach today and there were many entrances, and the one I used was lees than 500 metres from where I had attempted on my last visit. I think that Geocaching is trying to teach me to never give up.
Even though there was hardly anyone in the park, just as I was making the retrieve along came a pair of muggles, so had a pleasant conversation and they went on there way.
Took nothing, left Kootenay Cachers Geocoin to continue its journey. Put a mini dingo card in the Geocoin cover. Fitted beautifully.

We're really enjoying the cooler weather, much better for the kids' stamina for geocaching. Had a play in the playground near the park entrance we used.
The pickupfamily Mum had done a field trip to this reserve a few years ago when studying Biology at Latrobe, and learnt all about native regeneration here. We were happy to see lots of good strong regrowth on the eucalypts as they were very stressed by the drought over the past years.
Saw a few kangaroos today - I find them particularly big and intimidating here for some reason.

A lovely bit of bush. All the creeks were running and the rain hadn't quite stopped making it a very nice experience. I took a green star and left a cicada.
Pleasant walk in this very natural reserve to get this cache. Kangaroos everywhere !
Discovered the cache easily but had to do a little maintenance as the lid was off and it had been filled with rocks - looks like it had been muggled.
Once I emptied out the rocks - it was a pretty empty cache...Took nothing, left Mondo doll.
Resealed the cache and added a little camo over the top of it. A previous visitor has added a new log book - the old one could probably be taken away though and some bit's and bobs could be added to revitalise this cache.
