As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
It appears that the cache has been lifted. We will replace it next time we are in Norseman
We are sure we found where the cache should have been and have a photo if required to verify that the cache is missing. Nevertheless it was well worth the trip up to capture the view - no problems towing the van up either
Definitely found the right spot. Spent heaps of time searching - no luck. Cache not found by 3 different GCs, so must have been robbed.
was at the right spot but no find unfortunately. still a very nice place

Great location but that crazy Karen (behind my GPS screen) insisted I go through the minesite. I tried a couple of alternative routes before getting up the hill. Nice cache, well looked after and a great bush walk to start the day.

Great views especially the "ancient ruins" similar to the Maya people nearby. Path is a bit slippery with the little marble rocks all over the place. TFTC Cheers. Lead 'n Lace
Dropped off a geocoin while we were here doing maintenance to our cache a couple of weeks ago
Dropped by to replace the container and add an additional log bog and to drop off a couple of geo coins. The view from here is still great
Mr Morris really enjoyed the drive up to this one and viewing the mine workings. That is some tailings heap - it looks like they are building a pyramid. Took geocoin. TFTC
Great views from here, and a short walk for an easy find. Took nothing, left Icelandic Flag coin.
Thanks for bringing us here, we wouldn't have come here otherwise.

An easy quick find on a cold, wet & windy day in Norseman. Making our way from Esperance to Kalgoorlie. We managed to squeeze our log entry onto the very last available space on the back cover of the log book, a new one is needed. TNLN SL Sly& Zed
A quick detour after our lunch stop, great views geo wife loved the walk back UP to the parking spot
A hill! Good to be able to get up and look out. The container is showing signs of wear and the log book is full. Sorry I didn't have one to replace it. TFTC.
Nice place for morning tea, great views.

We enjoyed the walk up the hill and the views from the top. Found the cache without any problem. Thanks Westy Clan
Found it just before dark enjoyed the great views. We seemed to get interference from the towers on top of the hill. Once we walked away the gps functioned properly. Pop and the little ones of the clan brought the cache back to the car to show Nanny. Pop needs to get fitter for the uphill climbs.

A fascinatng set of views from a location I would never have visited had it not been for the cache. A good lunch spot. TNLN. Many thanks for the cache and the views.
Tried to get here via a mine haul road - not to be reckomended. So much for in-car navigators.

An interesting drive through the gold mine to reach the site. There are wonderful views to be had from here. I'm pretty sure that the nearby electronic devices were interfering with the GPSR as the compass needle was wavering erratically, but the closer to GZ we went - the more accurate it became.

We where over in Esperance for a work trip and took the oportunity to collect some more caches in this very lovely part of the world. But we got a bit off track and ended up here! Ideal spot for a cache, with the views, and the history!

It's amazing that they still allow tourists to drive through this mine to the loookout.....thankfully we were able to do so and reach the cache.
Thanks for the detour off the main road through town and the chance to check out this area from a different perspective.

Found by Mary & David at 1440. Feel as though we're back in civilisation again after leaving Ceduna yesterday morning. David had done the journey 40 years ago, but it was the first time for Mary. A stunning landscape and interesting vegetation. Found the horse and it's story; now to go and photograph those camel sculptures. TNLN, but collected the Feng Shui Compass Geocoin to travel with us for a while. Our thanks to Westy Clan.
History, a view and a walking track - A geocache is a must here, and now it has been Lead-lined.
What a great view a rainbow came out for show but no rain though. No GC in cache when we got there. Fancy a horse finding a peice of gold what clever things they are.TNLN TFTH TTFN
This Hill gives a totally new outlook on Norseman and its hinterland. Beautiful - particularly this time of year with so much water around. Left GC as couldn't help it on its way. TNLN Thanks for the hunt Westy Clan
There are great views from up here of the better side of Norseman.
I have dropped the Feng Shui Compass Geocoin here, so would some one please take it with them across to SA to continue its journey around Australia.
Took: Nothing

Just drove over from the "Cruzin #4" cache. Glad to see bitumen again! Nice little walk track and good views all around from up here. Nice and breezy and cool when I was there. Found cache easily at 6:10pm. On my way to Victoria then up to Queensland. TN-LN-SL. Thanks for the hunt Westy Clan.

Found it easily after settling into the local carvan park. Having left my cache bag at said park, we left nothing but did grab Cousin Jack to move him along on his ventures. Thanks for views. Cache is in good condition.
With Cousin Jack TB onboard and this being a mining town and all, we could not miss the opportunity to drop off the little miner (as he had wished). Good luck to him. Thanks Westy Clan. TNLN.
Some great information and photos at the lookout, we never would have thought to come up here for a history lesson.

Found this cache as part of Suitman, Tasty and my drive from Melbourne to Perth.
This cache is located on a beautiful hill overlooking where we had just driven, and over the Norseman Gold Mining Facility. Found the cache very easily. I left a Flashlight and took the water gun. Suitman TNLN.

Great 360 degree views. Thanks for bringing all of us up here. Left ear plugs and took toy car. Clear skies, Astro. Nice view in the crisp morning air.
11:20am Cold windy 10c. After overnighting in Norseman we went cache hunting. It seems we have been just getting to these caches before another team. The cache is placed in a great hidey hole and there are magnificant views from both the top of the hill and the cache location.
We took the snakes and ladder game and added a Koala in a zip lock bag (to keep it dry and clean) and a piece of velcro we found someplace else.

Almost a FTF! - after 5 months of being lonely this cache gets 3 logs in 2 days...! We missed out on locating the Phoenix Park cache - but glad to bag this one. (Although one young Wally wished he had of put his shoes on!)

We arrived at the top of the hill at 6.30 am. The sun was rising and the view from up here is spectacular.
Norseman has been one of them ho hum towns that you pass through. I have crossed the plain over 20 times and have never bothered to find anything about Norseman.
Thanks to the Westy clan for bringing me up here. The history plaques are a good read and did I mention the view.
Took the torch Keyring Left a Carabiner/compass keyring.
Well worth the stop.
