Archived temporarily! ... It appears this cache has gone M.I.A. ... Will check it asap!

Found this one before but when we went looking this time it didn't seem to be there, might need to be checked.

19-Mar-10
Had all sorts of problems with the GPS, but decided that it had to be in the tree somewhere. Trouble is, we just couldn't find it.

12-Mar-10
Nope, Mrs Bundy and I spent over 1/2 hour searching for this one. We kept returning to the same tree, which fitted in with the clue, but we could not find it. Not sure what to make of it.

Cheers
Bundy

There were a few muggles about today, was able to log our found easily though. TFTC

Found @ 1350.

Found whilst driving from Launceston to Burnie for work. Despite a couple of muggles in the carpark, I was able to retrieve the cache unnoticed.

25-Jan-10
Our last cache on the way home from Hobart today. Despite some muggles in the carpark, we were able to log our visit without being noticed. TFTC

29-Dec-09
Easy find but awkward with the amount of muggles around.

22-Nov-09
Another roadside stop for another cache. Very wet here as well today, but the cache was found a few minutes. Thnaks for the stop.

15-Oct-09
We really love these roadside caches. It was very wet around the area and we had to watch our step. GPS was about 10 meters off but a bit of exploring found it. Log book was a little wt but we didn't have any zip lock bags for the book so had to leave it as was.

03-Oct-09
We lobbed at the car park and found a couple of cars of muggles about. Managed to look like a couple of people out to stretch our legs and found ourselves nicely concealed when getting the cache. 5th of 17 for Tassie.

Finally we nailed this one! It was in such an obvious spot but the GPSr kept leading us up the garden path.

25-Aug-09
Finally found it - GPS helped! Didn't really want to stick my hand down that hole, but when I eventually did I pulled out a cache.
Took bubble mix, left key chain pen.

Found no worries. TN, Left Le Lady Di TB, SL, Thanks

08-Jun-09
After an extensive search we had to admit defeat. Being a public holiday there was a "driver reviver" station at the rest area creating an almost constant stream of muggles. The amount of rain over the last few days has left the grassed area very wet and boggy making the search more difficult.

We'll be back!

09-May-09
Great spot for a pit stop and for a cache. Had to wait for some muggles to move on. Thanks Waterwells.

03-May-09
Last cache of the trip home as the batteries in the PDA died 36M from the cache and the screen went blank. I was not sure what direction but with some good caching logic and the headlamp we sussed it out from a few possible locations nearby.

15-Apr-09
Not too hard a find, though rain made it a bit interesting.
Took nothing, left nothing.

Had stopped here once before and knew it would be a great place for a cahce. Delighted to pull in again for a different reason and find the goods (in the rain) . TNLN TFTC No TB was in the cache when we arrived.

10-Apr-09
Found with a friend's GPS after an unsuccessful and unpopular attempt to eat Weetbix sans bowls for breakfast Sad TNLN.

04-Apr-09
Have stopped here for a rest on many occassions. After waiting for the muggle activity to reduce, the eldest of the geopups bagged this one.

20-Mar-09
This must be a different Parramatta Park to the last one I visited. I didn't see any eels here Smile
There were plenty of camper van muggles nearby though, but as usual the only bit of the outside world they wanted to see was the dunnies [:o]
So grabbing the cache was a casual affair Big Grin
TFTC and excuse for a stop on the long drive between two nearby caches this morning Big Grin

Been past a number of times but this time stopped and there it was. Thanks

24-Feb-09
Found on Sunday on our way to Devonport, my first little foray north. Funny I've been to Parramatta on the big isle but never stopped here. My favourite for the day and I was actually able to coax my number 1 hero (he did arrange this trip) out of the car to help with the search and he put me in the right direction after I started out at the wrong spot. 1st cache on trip to hobart. Took a while but finally found it. Would have been a long journey if they all took as long as this one. TNLN.

Had a good look around this one, couldn't remember the clue (may have helped) No luck this time. Even had Flange_1&tribe helping

12-Nov-08
Found a hidey hole at GZ but only thing evident was some rubbish collected by an animal to make a nest. As it has not been loged for over 2 months I wonder if it is still there?

Cache in good order but exposed -covered better.
Thanks Waterwells.

25-May-08
Smile Stopped here with Minnie & May Flower after ice creams and strangely painted cows at Ashgrove Cheese.
Interesting hiding spot, very obvious once you're there. For some reason Minnie kept wandering up to the pine trees though the GPS was clearly pointing to the right location.

11-May-08
The cache grounds were spectacular with a full range of Autumn colours on this Mother's Day. We stopped on the way to Kimberley to allow crying kids a chance to settle and to have a run around so Parra really does matta.
We were surprised to find the cache about 1 metre away from its hidey hole out in the open grass; obviously dragged out there by the burrowing animal. There was no damage to the clear Sistema container so after a bit of a clean up the kids made their usual swaps and completed the log signing. The middle-est daughter casually tossed the cache down the burrow so I spent much longer retrieving the cache than actually finding it. Hopefully the cache doesn't fall down otherwise the next finder we need a long stick to get it out.
The tree has lots of bees in it, a combination of the nearby hive and loads of blossoms. They are quiet bees but still be careful.
Thanks Waterwellsfor this cache.

A quick find on our way to Devonport.
Thanks Waterwells for showing us this busy little spot,

04-Apr-08
We pulled in here on our way back to catch the ferry home. We could not help commenting on how great the park looked with all the different coloured autumn leaves on the trees. With only one muggle camped here and out of site of GZ we had a nice easy find @ 13.00.We made use of the amenities before heading back on our way
Thanks Waterwells for the cache
On the way back to the car we noticed a very active bee colony (whether they are planning on making a hive or it was just a swarm we are not sure) in the tree about a metre from the bridge closest to the main road, so any one whi is allaergic to bees would be advised to take the upper bridge

The seed for this "FEB 08 NUMBERS RUN" germinated during our South Coast Chaos walk and now we have done it.
Finished work as early as possible, not early enough, on Friday and set of for Somerset. Managed about two hours sleep/rest and started 00:00 and finished at 23:54 today.
We had relaxed breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner and achieved our goal with only nine DNFs, no injuries and were still smiling at the end.Big Grin
Thankyou for this cache Waterwells

23-Feb-08
With rebulus and gspblu we were able to locate and log this cache as part of our FEB ‘08 NUMBERS RUN.
A lovely area to stop and stretch the legs. Lots of muggles enjoying the facilities but we were in a bit of a hurry and had to keep moving.
Thanks Waterwells for being one of the 24 cache owners that made our trip a success.

23-Feb-08
This cache was found as part of our

Thanks waterwells for placing this cache so as to make this trip possible for us to do.

Took us a while, we also looked around the wrong tree for a while lol.
Unfortunaly i did not have much time to write much in the log or do swaps.
Also i think a few spiders live there aswell!
Nice park i recomend!
Thanks for the Cache!

Yes Parra does matter even though they did not win the NRL grand final this year, they still tried hard. Woops back to geocaching, the toilets sure mattered. A good little hide but noticed that a native animal may want this area for a home. Once we had done our stuff we put the cache back again but off to the side. Hoping that the animal muggle may leave it alone.

Found it again with nephew after I had a quick snooze. He was racing around and yakking while I couldn't keep my eyes open. So then I looked through the log book and couldn't find my entry. Worked out that it must have been in the first log book - so I signed it again!

17-May-07
Found 200705171634 Smile. Parra may matter, but not as much as a quick find when one has to get to Devonport to catch the boat back to the mainland Wink. This was my last cache of a fantastic ten-day tour around Tassie Cool

A welcome pit stop was had at this cache. It was a nice quick easy find and out of the way of the many prying eyes that were present when we pulled up. In fact we thought we would have to abandon this one due to all the muggles about which seemed to be the theme of our day but that was not so.
Grabbed TB and will relocate it soon.

a great rest spot and an even better find as our first 3 were unsuccessful, but not to be put off we kept on trying, only a couple of muggles about but they seemed more interested in the toilets than what we were doing, the local rats have taken a liking to the container and have chewed a small hole in it, so it had quite a few bugs in it,probably looking for some shelter from the rain, didn't have any tape to cover the hole with so just tipped the bugs out, contents still dry, left travel bug.

While Piglet did a silent protest for most of the caches back home by not leaving the car, the adults of the group (snigger) found this one quite quickly. Took Doggie left glowstick. Good hide Waterwells, thank you.

A nice little spot to stretch your legs and snaffle a cache. Our 12th for the day (cache and leg stretch!). As I'm logging this on the 20th after arriving home from holidays and loosing all our recorded log info from the pocket pc, I can't remember what or if we swapped here. Maybe the next finder could enlighten us please.
Thanks for the cache Waterwells.

Seventh of twenty-three finds for the Launceston to Devonport day of my assault on Northern Tasmania. When I arrived at the parking area, there were some muggles enjoying a cup of coffee, but they left shortly after I arrived--I seem to have that effect on people. Big Grin However, the real bogeys were the three maintenance people working on the toilets and generally cleaning up. Sad It started raining again, so I decided to wait them out; I settled down to type up my logs so far. Fortunately, they left after 20 minutes or so, and I was able to locate the cache (in steady rain) at 1055. It was partially exposed, but I hid it better before I left. There was a constant stream of people visiting the toilets or stopping for a cuppa. There were even two chooks wandering around the car park. The place is popular! Thanks to Waterwells for the cache.
