If it's gone, as you say. Then why don't you go and pick the cache up so it isn't just another piece of rubbish?
With no net access on our holiday we were running of an old GSAK database, hence had no knowledge that this cache had been archived.
Anyway, the cache was still there at the time we found it.

Found this one on our holiday trip on the way to Adelaide.
The weather was fine and caching down under was great fun for us.
This was one of the best Caches we found "Down Under".
Was a great and funny surprise at the given spot.
Too sad that it has been archived now.
So rest in peace little Cache with Eliza and George...

I enjoy wandering around historic graveyards and finding caches that have been placed well away from graves but I feel it is disrespectful to hide a cache inside a grave. It is interesting that previous finders haven't been too bothered by it - perhaps it is one of those regional differences that we come across? If the cache hider said in the cache notes that it was his/her mothers grave then I would be less concerned as it would be clear that the family were OK with it. There are dangers with this sort of hide as was illustrated in South Carolina a couple of years back when the state government banned geocaching in graveyards after an incident involving a cemetery hide. There was talk at one stage of a total ban of geocaching anywhere in the state - fortunately that didn't happen!
I agree that logging a cache as 'found' weakens one's convictions - which is why I'm not logging this as a find. I find this placement to be quite insensitive and disrespectful! I'm glad it's not me under there.
08:13 I have agree with Tofska, I have changed my log to a note.
I wasn't so sure about he location of this Cache. Be sad if the Solomon family discovered the cache.
Maybe the location could be used a waypoint for a multi, and the final moved someone less disrespectful.
Also could a note be placed on the cache page, to warn people of its location. I don't tend to read all the logs before I find a cache.
Its a nice location, I just think the cache could be placed in a better spot.

A quick find - however I have to say that I thing the hiding spot is a bit dodgy!
I don't know about doing this cache at night.
Thanks Beaker's Bunch for all your caches I was able to find.
Filled in the log.

Found this one after the conclusion of the CCC event weekend. The boys had no problems with the location and as usual were racing to be the first to retrieve the cache.
TNLNSL Thanks for the cache.
TNLNSL Thanks for the cache.
Mini-Mack and I collected this one whilst the biggest brat boy ran to collect a game cache - Mini-Mack voiced his concerns about the cache placement, but when asked if he was going to get it out, the reply was something along the lines of 'don't be stupid, of course I am, it's a cache!' and quickly stuck his hand in and grabbed it - TFTC

Poor Solomon, Eliza and George. If anything, their deaths have provided for the next (and next and next) generation...
TNLN
I asked for volunteers to put their hands in and one was keen until I said "Make sure Solomon, Eliza and George don't grab you" and then I had to retrieve the cache myself (and perhaps now get counselling for 6yo member of TC).

Grabbed it while placing our cache for the competition. Didn't realise it was here until we were about to drive off. MiniZyth2 did the recovery. Mrs Z was a bit freaked out by the concept.
Found this cache after visiting some nearby relatives. Glad it wasn't too far - and that the extra dimension has yet to be added!
Easy find once the secretary remembered their names.

Found 12:50am. 19th of 21 FFTD. Out with chizbeki for a caching frenzy evening on our first night in town. Spookiest cache of the night, a little freaked out having to put my hand in at this time of night, but what's the worst that could happen..............................[xx(]

Im took your advice and did this at night, it adds a new dimension ... as one is searching down in every nook and cranny just who (or what) is creeping up behind... don't think about it, just get on with the search. T&L plastic critters. Cheers.
Took the local scout group out to help find this one. They thought it was too easy! maybe I gave too many hints, next time they can work it out themselves. Had a great time, lots of interest in the actual area. Wouldn't want to do this one at night!!!!! creepy
A nice easy find, even though we had to call back a 2nd time, the 1st had a large gathering of potential muggles nearby. TNLN
Was dead tired after walking up the hill. My throat was that dry I started coffin'.

as for freaking people out ... nah ... the cache being covered in large slimey snails freaked me out more

As indicated by the posted date, we were there on 12 Jan 07, and the cache was very much there. Ghosts? Gremlins? It would certainly seem appropriate
This cache confirms my suspicion that cache reviewers do very little actual REVIEWING. I’m at a loss as to how this one got approved. Auzee had to do the honours, as my arm was the wrong calibre (…what a shame ) TNLN.

It does appear that someone or something has nabbed the cache. I had a bit of a look around but with no success. A further more thorough search is required but really it can only be in one place. If it's gone a replacement will be in place soon.

Third of twenty-four caches on my first day in Mt Gambier (urban day one). I like cemetery caches. I especially like them when I can drive to within 10m of GZ. This one was an easy find at 0950. It was not hidden in the usual place for cemetery caches. There was a stash note for a Travel Bug in the cache; obviously, someone grabbed the TB, but left behind the note. Thanks to Beaker's Bunch for the cache. Cheers, dak.

Luckily we didn't have our daughter with us on this visit. She won't get out the car at cemeteries, so she certainly wouldn't have liked this cache.

We had a bit of a walk around the place, reading the gravestones as we did.

355. How cool. CoolAid loves zombies but doesn't want to turn into one so I had to retrieve. Thanks for bringing me to this place. I hadn't seen one set out quite this way before.

Our first Mount Gambier cache for this visit and we were lucky to find ourselves a nice shady parking spot before heading off to gz. Other than a little bit of construction work going on along way from gz there was not another living soul here making searching for the cache quite easy. Once found we retired to a nearby seat to complete the paperwork

Going to a funeral of a friend next week. So while doing this cache I invited old Sol, the lovely Liz and grumpy George to come along as well. They'd be able to welcome my friend into their community. They were so pleased to be asked they offered up a little monster from their treasure chest. We in turn gave them a tiny spider man. We then bade them farewell and gave thanks that we did not do this cache at night time.
Thanks Beaker's Bunch. A lot of fun doing this one.

Myself, tiges and the Geogirls paid this one a visit. It's just over my back fence, so we frequent the area a lot and even took the dog for a walk this time. The reference clues really helped, but the snails - that's another story [xx(] TNL 2 marbles.
This cache is descriptive of its rating, as once GZ was found, cache was found in a matter of seconds. Lovely walk with player 1, and a good history - as had plenty of visits.

With team Jeckyl and Team Bounty on a fun night with a cast of thousands. Jessica seemed to be very jumpy here for some reason. Swapped a keyring for a lion. Cheers and thanks.
Found with Teams Spanner & Bounty on a fun evening. There were enough of us to keep the locals quiet. Our Jess kept getting Spanner bites, which she didn't appreciate. Maybe she thought it was spooks!

Was a great find, I think it is an excellent place, with having geo kiddies not some where we would ever stop but found that there was a lot of history to talk to him about. I agree if you dont like it dont do it.
Decided that it would be best to do this one in the daylight this time, as it was a bit hard in the dark without a mapping GPSr or a map last time!!!
Easily found, in a very old and historic place.

Had a laugh at this one. Didn't do it a night as you suggested but could see the reasoning. I'd like to suggest an extra here to make it more interesting but it might give it away.

My apologies to those who find this cache in poor taste. It was never meant to cause offence to anyone however I thought that this may be the case. Personally I don't see it as a problem. However, there is a simple solution. If you don't like it - don't log it. If the next few logs seem to indicate similar offence, I'll remove the cache.
Thanks.

Found this little gem of a cache on the way to the SA Fourth Festive Frolic Weekend that's being held on the Queens Birthday long weekend.

Indeed it was a bit spooky here after dark. In a way the torch illuminated the cache easily and I was not scared to put my hand “inâ€. Day light would have made it a black hole – no one wants to go there! . Luckily there were no animals here with ass stingers either .
Thanks Mr Beaker.

Day 2 on our ‘Green Triangle’ caching adventure with Dad (who goes by the name 'Late for Dinner'). Found Solomon and Gang and carefully retrieved the container.
On the walk back told Dad I've been thinking when he ‘goes’ that I'll arrange a headstone with a special compartment to place a cache … possibly something to spook the geocacher as they reach in to grab the container! As a practical joker he liked the idea.
By the way TNLNSL, Cheers, Rav 4 Raiders

This one, I found in poor taste though.
Did a small swap, enjoyed the history.

At BB's suggestion, I left this one to late at night - 10 pm to be precise ! In retrospect, maybe not such a good idea as I had watched Hell Boy and Angels in America last night at friends place on DVD . Is someone trying to tell me something [?]. Added to that, it was now cold and wet, and the only light I had was the backlight from the GPS! At least I didn't see any spiders. I especially liked the way the cache container was camouflaged with live snails - icky [xx(]!
Took a red dice, left a red lady beetle

Found by Mary & David at 0755. It's not often at a cache like this that Mary can say she knows a few of the neighbours. Many of her Clezy, Harvey and Alexander ancestors from more than 100 years are cosily tucked up nearby. Took doll figure, left pack of bracelet charms and a karma card. TB 'The Left Hand Of Death' also paid a visit. Our thanks to Beaker's Bunch - great meeting you yesterday afternoon.
