Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Coober Pedy to Kimba.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Bunya' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with '20km Hike' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today, our journey took us from Kimba via Iron Knob and on to Port Augusta.
Tonight, I read the story of the hikers to the confluence. Very interesting. Wish I could have been part of the hike.
However, we did find the cache, which is now a largish pill bottle. Thanks Bunya for the interesting link to the story and the cache

Found by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle on our 3-month Australia holiday after travelling from snowy and cold Northern Ontario Canada.
With the replacement motor home being delivered to the caravan park in Peterborough, SA in the evening before, we were able to leave in the morning.
The cache was found as we travelled from Peterborough, SA to Minnipa, SA . one of 14 finds today - All were quickly found except for the last which took two visits to find it (before and after supper in the motor home)
No problems here

The Eyre Highway leads us on and we have to keep stopping to find some caches, so sometimes we don't move very far along. This cache was not a problem to find and all was done to keep the paperwork in order as two more names were added to the log, with ilook4geo being there as well. Many thanks go to Bunya for adding this cache to the game.
Heading slowly east, with some diversions, along with goingplaces2. Picking up some caches along the way and doing a few earthcaches as well. Thanks to each of the COs who have added caches to the game along our route today.
Our second DAY IN Pt Lincoln and it was time to focus on caching in Lincoln itself and potential surrounds. It was a cold and grey day interspersed with rain, which was a bit of a downer when compared to the sunshine of the last few days. Despite this we were able to still able to make a good day of it, finding over 50 caches, though it was also a day of quality as well with some higher terrain caches as well. It was an enjoyable day as we were able to tick off some earmarked caches before we finally finished up at around seven.

Today we are heading for Port Augusta as we work our way back east to Victoria from Western Australia where we have been for around 4 months.
Since we have begun the trip east we have had strong winds and regular rain. Maybe we are travelling in the window of the weather!
We have been breaking up the journey by collecting caches on the way. This was one of many!
No 20 km hike needed today. We found a suitable place to pull up on the left and then it was just a short walk across the road.
Missed it on the first circuit round GZ but picked it up on the second.

Because of the driving I was missing my hiking. This made me believe that I had at least covered 20k’s. TFTC
A plan was hatched to make the most of my time based in Port Augusta. This weekend the plan was to visit all the LGA areas on Eyre Peninsula to work towards the South Australian LGA Challenge. Dr Owl joined me in Port Augusta on Thursday night and we headed off early Friday morning for a wonderful adventure. Plenty of laughs, great scenery and some interesting stories discovered along the way. Today involved heading across the top of the Peninsula to Ceduna.
All I can say is that I thought cachers were mad!
Thanks for the cache Bunya.

Owl and Sushilord were heading west on an epic adventure with the main goal of covering as many council areas as possible so they can qualify for a challenge cache. Caches on the side of the road crying out to be found were also obliged. No time for a 20km hike, but the cache was a quick find.
It's still early morning but this will be the last cache for the day for me. Heading into rain and already have smileys along the highway toward home. End of 5 weeks away. TFTC
Apologies for the late log. I've been on a road trip (from Melbourne) through WA with some caching along the way and only now am I catching up on logs. This was my final day of driving and a big one as I covered 1500km to get home from Ceduna. This was a stop off to take a break form driving but I had to make it my second and final find for the day as I needed to stay on the road to make time. A quick find here and an interesting story of your 20km hike. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Bunya.
A nice easy park and grab. Did a hike (about 10m) to get here from the car.
Thanks for the cache Bunya.
Found on 15 Oct 2017 at 10:03 am on a caching adventure with Froghoppin, MoneyDork and RedIguana. Find #5288.

We called past to replace the cache container, wet log and melted lolly affected contents, this cache should be fine for some time yet
Travelling with Forest Farmers, enjoying the great outdoors and finding smileys

A nice quick grab - equally as nice to know we didn't need to do a 20k hike to get it.
We left one of our signature trade items - a pet rock ladybug.
Thanks for setting this up Bunya

**Day 3** of my trip - *Nuriootpa to Ceduna*...
After staying in Nuri for a couple of nights, today saw me loaded up and heading to Ceduna before making my way over to W.A. Naturally I stopped to find a few caches along the way.
A pleasant enough day with the rain holding off. A nice quick find too.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Bunya.
Stamped log and replaced...

Found this cache while slowly meandering back home to Darwin after a year long caching adventure around Australia with CAD ... A quick stop here on our way to Whyalla from Ceduna T4TC:)
Found on our westward drive. Cache container in a bad condition as mentioned by previous posts. Replaced container & log book bag so should be good for a few more finds. TFTC
Found the cache open and some 5 metres from GZ, contents were scattered so replaced what I could find. Lid has been damaged but used the camouflage that was already there so hopefully will stay together. TFTC and the story behind it, SL.
Off on a tour to Eyre Peninsula grabbing a few caches along the way.
Sadly the container has reached its use by date.

Needed to stretch the legs and find a cache whilst traveling to WA for WA goes big 2016. TFTC
Travelling from Maryborough QLD to Bindoon WA via NSW, VIC, SA and the Nullarbor towing our home on wheels. We are looking for out of the way places to visit and camp along the way and after a few days at Iron Knob (because we had to wait for a new wheel to come from Melbourne) we are now on the way to Cummins. This was a quick park and grab along the way. TFTC
On the way to Kalgoorlie to visit number 2 son and new grand-daughter. A chance to use cache hunts to break up the journey and stretch the legs.
The cache was easily found. SL TFTC

Currently returning to Vic from WA in company with Geobet&tor. With thanks for the cache from Angus the great GeoWestie and his Carer who are grey (and white) nomads in our tenth year on the road.
Good find. TFTC. Tor and Betsy, the travelling Westies roaming WA at present. We are from Oxenford near the Gold Coast in Queensland and thoroughly enjoying the West.
Gee I wouldn't fancy a 20km hike in this land. Simple hide but a really cool place to stop and take in the vastness of Australia. Cheers.
Rather glad this was a quick find by the highway today. Not a day for a hike.....very wet!! This was rather interesting to read, as we have found two caches placed on confluence points. TFTC
Catching up on some late, very late and extremely late logs (400 in all)
I would like to thank Bunya for placing this cache. I always enjoy getting out and about to view this great country of ours and caching allows me to do that. Once at GZ, I sometimes find the cache quickly but sometimes it takes awhile to sus out the well camouflaged hide. Once found, log is signed and the cache is rehidden as found.
Once again thanks Bunya.

Just catching up on a few last finds from our trip back from WA. Managed another quick park and grab this afternoon while heading East. Thanks Bunya for the cache.
Day sixty seven of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
On the road again, but homeward bound - Ceduna to Whyalla for the Cuttlefish!
A few more caches to do on this road, and a few more FTF PT caches as we left Iron Knob.
They must have been fairly determined to do a 20km hike from here! The fence isn't that flash - I suspect if you went up and down it would be missing somewhere.
But a good stop on the highway.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8352. Robmc and I have reached SA and today's journey was from Ceduna to Whyalla. It took so much longer than the kms indicated as there were a lot of caching stops on the way.
The thought of a 20km hike filled me with dread but then Rob said it was a traditional by the side of the road. I am relying on him as my GPS died at the start of our 10 week trip. I was glad to have the cache to hand without a walk. Phew!
Thanks Bunya

At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking year through the world. Most of the time I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be taken, as it will make the challenge so much easier.
My current part of the journey is the eighth day of a roadtrip from Margaret River to Nimbin and I'll definitely try to collect a lot of boxes on my way.
This cache was a quick and easy find.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

We found this cache as part of a 4 day trip which went from Adelaide to Sceale Bay returning to Adelaide. The purpose of the trip was to remove Freddo was his home location too near the Clipsal 500 track and for us and Freddo to achieve a difficulty 4 1/2 and terrain 4 cache to make us well rounded cachers. The cache we needed to find was located near Venus Bay and we successfully completed this goal early on Friday morning which left us plenty of time to find "just one more". Loved the scenery and having the opportunity revisit this great area Thanks to Bunya for placing this cache.
3 cars drive on the way to perth with rosejj, whitepaws9, crank1 and her partner , Graham and i enjoyed drive and stop on the way ...thank you for show us.
