As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Looked twice without success. The vines have been cut right back, I don't think it's possible to hide a cache here now.
Our first SA Cache ever! A quick trip to MG for a family event, and dragged the family out caching, this was their first introduction, and we came up trumps, shame it couldn't stay that way. TFTC

There was certainly no "running water" here today. The joint was very crispy. The cache is still in the shade though.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
A nice spot. The cache was found in the first and last places that I looked. Only trouble was it was also the second time that I looked there!. Thanks The Rizzo's.
Found easily while visiting from Tassie, in a beautifully maintained area, while dodging the muggles.
TNLN - Thankyou to The Rizzos for this cache.

Almost gave up on this one but having a couple of DNF’s previously we didn’t want to finish the day on another one. It was getting quite dark so we went back to the car, got a torch and eventually found it.
TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache Rizzos

3rd of 10 finds on way home from Mt Gambier and the CCC Event, a great time had by all!
Had some local muggles wondering about the 'strange' car parked at this time of morning...
TN left magnet SL

This was first on my list for a day of solo caching after a highly enjoyable breakfast with friends. I found some likely spots but no cache. Next time.
Found by Team GeoCoopers.
One of our finds while down in the Mount for the Caves, Craters and Caches June event.
Freddo rolled up just as we had located the cache, so he got an easy find.
Thanks Rizzos

The hint didn't make sense straight away - I had to actually think. Thank you for showing me this interesting park.
Found by Team Ladava 1.10pm
Nice easy find thanks to the hint in this lovely green park.
Had to wait for a Pa and Grandson to clear the area but lovely to see from one Pa to another.

Found this one after second trip back. Drove us mad the first time and so left it for a few months, after some thinking and grubby work finaly found the cache, Excellent hide. We really enjoyed this one.
Geo-wife used to live nearby here, I never knew this nice little spot was tucked away here! Took me a little while to locate, I reckon I must have touched it at least ten times before finding it! DOH!!

Thought we were going to be barked away by the little dog from nearby, but he was happy to chase the kids whilst we searched for the cache. Found easily, helps when you read the hint. TNLN TFTC
I took the comment about shade cloth too literally which meant that I didn’t look in the obvious places for quite while. The terrain rating should make it obvious as to where to search. No pencil in the cache; could the next finder put one in I possible?

Eighth of twenty-four caches on my first day in Mt Gambier (urban day one). The trouble with cliff caches and bridge caches is that you don't know which altitude the cache will be at. The Emu Mob almost invariably chooses the wrong altitude. However, this time I chose correctly (although I didn't know it at the time), but still couldn't find it. I was also hampered initially by a grandpa and grandchild who left the playground to inspect the geology. Then two 10-year-old boys wandered up and spent a good 15 minutes hanging around and generally making a nuisance of themselves. I think they were wondering what the old looney was doing at the cliff face. I just settled down to wait them out, and started fiddling with my iPAQ. They finally ambled off, and I do mean ambled. I checked the other altitude, convinced that I was now in the right place, but still came up dry. I had already spent too much time here, so I called the Team Crackers help line to find out which altitude was correct. Back I went to my original choice, and found the cache at 1240. I must've missed it by that much the first time around. I made no exchange. Thanks to The Rizzos for the cache. Cheers, dak.

4:53 pm - Found it, bumping into two other geocaching teams at the same time. The pen was leaking so we took the bag (covered in ink) and the other team left a new pen. Also dropped off a TB from a nearby cache.
The log book plastic bag was covered in pen ink, and the pen was leaking. The other team with us left their pen, but there is no more bag for the logbook.
Climbing around I found nothing, then McPhan double checked the area and finally found it. TFTC
349. At last a relatively easy find in this town that isn't a micro. Very clever wording and a good spot for a break. TFTC

TEAM-SAFARI can now report that they have found this cache,
A great hiding spot, The kids thoroughly enjoyed climbing the rock face.
Kids swapped little froggy and the magnet clip for 2 blue marbles.
Signed log and replaced.
We were expecting to find 2 travel bugs in this cache, as it states in the inventory although there was none present that we could find....
And yes the log book is definately full.
Thanks

Have put a new log book in with the old one .
Noticed the cache has moved a little bit since it was hidden which is pretty common so I will venture back during the daylight to place in the correct spot.
Sorry guys about the Geo-coins as I forgot to log them out when they payed a small visit at the start of the month.
Cache in good nick!!

A nice, easy find, just a half a kilometre from home. We need to let The Rizzo's know that the log book is full and needs replacing. Took stubby holder and left a small electronic game. Thanks The Rizzo's.
We had spent quite a bit of time on a previous visit here but due to nearby muggle activity that day and a shortage of time we came away with a DNF. We returned today and had the entire area to ourselves and this time the GPSr was pointing to a slightly different direction and we had the cache in hand in minutes
Made swaps and signed log and continued on our way happy to have found it this time
Thanks the rizzos

Sadly the only dnf today out of this and four other caches we did. Searched everywhere using also the hint. But to no avail.
Will return if others find it.
Still, a beautiful little spot in the middle of suburbia.

Found at 23:30. A nice easy find in the dark. Finally, a non-micro in Mt Gambier. No swap.
We finally put this one to bed.
Last time I found myself in someone's back yard.
No such problem tonight and I located the cache in an area quite different to my original search site.

This was a group effort with player 1 (whom found this recently, therefore had prior knowledge) and the geogirls. The goods were found before I even had the GPS switched on!

A good hide in a nice park. No muggles around at this time of the morning and cache found with no problems. The clue come in handy. TNL 2 Marbles. Thanx Rizzo's.
Had a quick look around but as there were muggles nearby (in their own gardens) it was quite hard to look inconspicuous.
Should read all the info first, re-read the hints etc and there it was. Far too hot for muggles today, a very pleasant spot none the less. Left car and took keyring.
THanks Rizzos.

After Setsujoku was the last person to find this I forced him to help me find it again. At least he had trouble too but I eventually found intact and still there. I just couldn't get his clue about shadecloth. TNLNSL and rehid just the same way as when I found it. The longer it is not found the more it blends in with it's surroundings.
Glad to hear that other had trouble too. Was only our first attempt but will have a go next time in the area.
Work mate and i have visited twice, and spent decent amounts of time searching, but without any luck.
We know we were in the right area, but just couldnt come up with the goods.

Another of my 11 finds in Mt Gambier. Again between showers. Left a faitfull hound and took a flashing dice.
Thanks Rizzos.
Thanks Rizzos.
Found with Biggles Bear early in the morning. There werent any muggle children using the nearby equipment, so I didn't have to leave empty handed this time. But Biggles Bear gave me some good advice for such circumstances. "Just walk on through - the children will soon get suspicious and disperse." Will have to remember that one .
Left bottle of nail polish (no I didnn't use any Bruce!) and took tiny torch. Thanks Rizzos for showing me a feature that would have remained hidden for eons if it wasnt for geocaching.

After seeing a couple of teams unable to track down the cache I went and made sure it was still in its correct spot or had been muggled.
Cache is still in its correct spot behind the " green shade cloth ".This is a clue its not actually shade cloth but a clue for something thats a natural green sun blocker!!!hope this helps.

Tried to find this cache on our way to the SA Fourth Festive Frolic Weekend that's being held on the Queens Birthday long weekend.
It was our last cache for the day, and unfortunately it's a DNF. I felt very uncomfortable looking for it when there was a person doing some gardening nearby.

This was a frustrating hunt.
Our GZ was next to a wire link fence atop a small cliff.
After scratching around for 30mins we resorted to the clue.
Not much help there as there was no shade cloth in evidence anywhere.
We did feel uncomfortable spending so much time lurking around what we felt was someones backyard.
Another time maybe.

I don't think this one is here anymore. it looks like the locals found it and removed it. I am sure we haven't missed it, but would suggest the owner have a look to see if it is still here.
Only the galahs for company here. A number of options for a hide available here – I think I discovered most of them before finding the real location. TN, left a stress smiley magnet.
Clear skies, TeamAstro. – thanks Rizzos.

Day 2 on our ‘Green Triangle’ caching adventure with Dad (who goes by the name 'Late for Dinner'). Our sixth find for the day after a bit of a scramble up the rock face!
Methinks the neighbours must be getting a little suspicious with a succession of people ‘fossicking’ behind the shade cloth!

Last cache for the day and we didnt find it.
Mostly because it was nearly midnight and this close to a suburan house with a flashlight made me feel like I would be arrested at any minute. Especially when I climbed through a bush and found myself in someones back yard.
Just turned around and left at that point.
Will try in the light next time I am down this way.
