Logs
My son and I decided we would go find our first geocache and with the wind storm that blew thru this area a couple days ago there are a lot of down trees and limbs. We couldn't find the geocache. Hopefully the owner of this one will come back out and make sure everything is where it's suppose to be.
Looked high, low, and everywhere in between and I couldn't find it. Granted, I don't use a GPS when caching but I never have this kind of bad luck with a cache. I almost want to say that it's not there anymore. If it is, oh well. I'm lame.
This cache was below eye level for sure. High or low, we appreciate them all. TFTC!
Today I thought I would knock another cache off my list. As of this evening there are only two caches in Madisonville which I have not found. I am not too sure either is still in play, but I will find out in the next few weeks. (As soon as I get rid of this rash.)
I am a little concerned about the CO's grade on the agronomy final. Collard Greens? (scratch scrath) You are much tougher than I am. There are no collards at GZ, but there is lots of poison ivy. Lots. (scratch scratch) Collards indeed. (Scratch scratch).
I just noticed, because I have gotten into the bad habit of just grabbing caches and not reading about them until later, that the hint does not jive with the caches actual position. I found it on the ground as the last cachers did. Even though they placed it back to where they thought the CO wanted it. I figure, if the cache is going to keep moving itself back to the ground I am not going to go against its wishes. Beside, reaching up makes the itching worse.
I signed the log. It was a little damp, but still in good shape. TNLN. The lid of the cache is a little cracked, but on the whole the cache is in really good shape for its age.

US11. Everything was very dry today, so no mud problems. Just a nice walk away from the traffic. Thanks.

On one hand I was glad we all stopped here when the event was not occurring, but judging from the cast iron stoves and wagons and canvas tents I think it would have been neat to check out whatever the event was -- looked to be something like a civil war reenactment from the remnants of the campers sites.
