Easy cache to find and a great view but something has gone wrong with the cache and it was full of maggots and an unidentified organic matter. Need to go back and give it a clean up.
Decided to head out for a little fresh air and a cache. Getting used to caching in the rain - no views for us. It was very misty tonight. Thought the rock formations were great and will head back on a nicer day for another look. GPS found GZ easily for us though. TNLNSL.
I have been down this track over the years. You have picked a great viewing spot. cache a little damp, left in sun while loging & enjoying views. TFTC / TFTH / SL
We were camping at Murphy's Glen for the night and this cache was on the way down to the campground. We would never have stopped here had it not been for this cache and we're glad we did as it's a super view from up here!
Thanks,

Since we were going past and this cache has a lovely view, we thought we would stop for lunch and check to see it was ok. The cache was fine. Everything is as it should be.
Left a combination lock took nothing.
Thanks for showing us this spot. I think it will become a favourite.

Parked up at the gate. Didn't want to tackle the hill in the car in case it got wet and too slippery to get back out. Walked up to the rock and Geogollum soon found the cache. The previous finders were not wrong when they said the cache was wet.
We signed their new fresh log book, removed the wet log book and dried out the cache. I have the old log book, and it is currently drying out at home in front of the dehumidifier. I'll arrange it's return to the owner soon. I couldn't leave it there. The cache and old log book was starting to smell really nasty.
Reading through the old log book while drying it out reads like a Who's Who of geocaching. I just had to save it.
Despite that and the overcast weather, the views were nice. We made a dash back to the car and rain started to roll in.

At the bottom of the rise (just before the gate), we waited for three cars to pass. The first, a 4X4 passed slowly without any problems. The last two were passenger cars, and in spite of taking it slowly, both scraped bottom on the high rocks in the road. We decided to park the car in the convenient parking spot and walk in. That was the worst spot though, and the road was good all the way to Linda Rock. The views are spectacular! Not so nice was seeing the damage done to Linda Rock from vehicles scraping bottom all the way from the road to the cache, as well as the old fire pits, and the large pile of discarded bottles and cans. It was still a pleasant walk and an enjoyable cache. The cache was in plain sight when we arrived (we arranged the camo to hide it when we left of course). Left a new log book and pen, TNSL. Cache is damp, but we had nothing to dry it out with. Thank you for sharing this lookout, and for the cache Team SWAG!

What a wonderful view. We decided to cycle from Wentworth Falls via the Ingar track today and find this cache. It was a beautiful sunny day. Found the cache with no problems. There was not much in the cache and the log book is full. Someone earlier has left some extra paper for geocachers to write on to record their visit. Took the FRIENDSHIP travel bug (WEYTJG) after photographing it. I believe it has had a short stay in this cache. No sign of the other 2 travel bugs though. Left a few small toys and other bits 'n' pieces.
Thanks Team Swag for showing us a lovely place.

My namesake cache so just had to complete this. Drove all but the last 50 meters to GZ. Top spot, shame that the local hoons seem to use to as a party spot. A few bottle , whole and broken lying around. Found easily, superb views. didn't really understand why cache name mentioned Linda's flowers cause I couldn't see any flowers ,maybe in the spring time there are blooms galore. It was only later that I learnt this spot is called Linda's rock.
No swaps but left The Friendship TB.

Fantastic location. My 5 yr old geokid found this one! No sign of either trackable item.

This is a really great spot. I've been here many years ago.
I was initially thinking I'd found the cache with the worlds biggest log book until I looked a little further and found the "real" cache.
Took London bus TB. I'll take it south to Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

Easy find! a great spot when the skies are clear with good views of the surrounds. Had a quick look at the 'Huge' Muggle container which has been left at GZ, it was harmless but as previously posted muggles have 'signed' the Geo log book (which is full!).
A nice easy one to kick off with.

Hi, I just dropped a travel bug off as it had been in my possession much too long.
The log is full. Let me know if you want me to change it over as I live quite close. I can post the old one back to you.

Out with the boys for some caching while the girls got some culture at the Norman Lindsay Gallery. We headed out this way, found the cache quickly and then sat to slowly enjoy the view. Missed another cacher too, a car was parked below but no one around near the cache?

Parked the car near the gate and walked the last couple of hundred metres. Almost got run over by a procession of 4WD's and mountain bikes, but found GZ quickly and Silky had the cache in hand moments later!!
Lovely views, even on an overcast day.

Another cache with the Tangles, what a great person to show us around. The cache was out in the open so it is covered up better. We will post pictures later. Also the log bock is full.

The logbook is full. There are some empty pages but it's probably better to replace the book.
Nice area! I camped nearby and ended up coming here several times to enjoy the view

Not the only finder of recent...log book is "full", although there are blank pages throughout. Muggles have added comments that the site is sacred, remove your GPS stuff etc...
Was hiking with others after deciding to do a 3 day hike is 1 and a half.

Pretty easy find on the way to the event at Wentworth Falls. The gate was open but our car had to have a little break from the terrain and we walked the last 250 metres. Great view. TNLN.TFTC. (And a note - all the front pages of the log book are full, also care of some muggles who have written some comments...)

A beautiful part of the mountains that we had not seen before with the bonus of a really nice view - thanks Team SWAG. Used this trip to introduce some friends (ozziemonkeys) from Queensland to geocaching. We wondered where the road goes to past the cache. It's something we may explore on our next visit up here. Took Paul Koala TB for a ride.
Well it was a bit of a drive, but luckily the gate was open. An excellent spot with a great view.
WOW!! what an excellent view. Out for a MTB ride to Murphy's glen and stopped off to find this cache. I've been past here many times before I had a GPS and even stopped for a break not knowing what is hidden there.
Took nothing and left nothing.
Thanks for the extra adventure. Merry Xmas

Dropped off Paul the German (really?) koala travel bug and a Fort Sumter geocoin. Took the Dog Stamp TB.
This was a nice and easy cache, although I was fooled at GZ for a minute or two before I spotted the real hiding spot. Thanks for the cache.
Had a big caching morning this morning, even though it wasn't such a nice day I had to get out of the house. It is a lovely drive down to this area and today there were lots of puddles to get the 4WD nice and dirty.
Found the cache fairly easily and stopped to admire the view from that spot, very lovely.
Thanks for bringing me to this spot.
Dropped off the Dog Stamp TB, if you take it grab the texta to go with it so you can stamp the logs.

Took the rough path up to this, but fun anyway. Yeah, the find was a bit easy, guess not many head to that spot.

Easy find when you look in the right spot. We got to the top looked at GZ and thought "nah, it can't be that obvious". But it was. Nice hide. Lovely views of a night.
Rode out here in a howling warm nor'wester to drop off the Bel's Dream travel bug - recently returned from a two year stint in the wilderness.
Took young T-T-S here - his second successful find on his first day caching. A lovely little spot and a great cache. TNFNSL TFTH!
Found this one just as the sun was setting. Great spot, we were searching in slightly the wrong place for a few minutes before we backed off and thought about it again

We drove past this cache earlier in the day to visit another one nearby. We stopped on the way back out and climbed up to enjoy the spectacular views in the magnificent crisp mountain air. The sun was shining and there was not a breath of wind. The views seemed to go on forever. What more could a cacher want? A cache of course! Luckily we found one nearby, and after the caching duties were completed we stayed a while to enjoy the area.
Took Nothing.
Left a monkey key ring.
Thanks Team Swag.

Nice short drive followed by a much enjoyed walk to the top, with some great views and plant life but sadly i also had a flie problem.
Terrain rating is 1 when it should actually be a 2.5 as its off track and no way in hell a wheelchair is going to get up there, my girlfriend had to stay back with the car due to a back condition

Tucked away spot but well worth the effort of finding the right track in. Enjoyed the view while munching on cherries we had bought from a roadside vendor down the road a bit. Took air freshener and left skin care products. Thanks guys.
1st cache for us in awhile. Found the cache easily, and quickly. Cache in good nick, with its gaurdian keepin' a lookout. Left an air pressure gauge and took some earplugs. Bring your camera cause there are nice views and lots of wildflower. Nice one Swaggies! Thanks from ze 'zwei of us'.
Wonderful spot for a cache, fantastic views, not too far from main road, magic! Took submarine sticker, left tweety bird's car.

On our way home from our crew weekend away, the Master Distillers directed us to this one because of the amazing views. It also gave penguin patrol the chance to take his new 4wheelie off road for the first time. found it quickly TNLN.

This was our first find and it took us some time to locate the cache. Relying on my laptop and fighting the sun to view the screen. Good spot, more people should go to this site they will enjoy it heaps.

Stopped off to do this one on our way home from MissLeah's booting/birthday weekend. The GPS kept trying to take us in from the wrong side of the valley but Lachlan pulled out his trusty street directory and we were soon headed in a much more appropriate direction. We parked about a k from the cache as we weren't sure if the chaz mobile would make it. It was an absoulutely awesome walk.
Took us a little while to find the cache as the rain had help to conceal it perfectly. the GPS knew exactly where it was though.
TNLN but awesome photos.

Cache #4 for the day. Well when we saw the quality dirt track and a sign saying 4 kilometres to the camping area - we couldn't resist checking it out as a likely camping spot in the future. Then we came upon a cache or 2.....well this one we completed, the other is for our next visit.
It doesn't get much easier than this - nice open country and an obvious hide at the end.
Thanks Team SWAG.
T: Tusa keyring, L: carabiner keyring and a water pistol.

We took the spoon travel bug from this cache which is not logged to it, No:468406 will move it soon.
The tiger travel bug was not in the cache , instead we found the spoon No:468406 Can someone shed some light on this?
This cache was our second for the day, Mrs Router found this one while I parked the car, To easy, much more than I can say for the one down the road I will explain there.
Thanks for another Moutain cache.
Thanks for another Moutain cache.
Linda is one of our best friends. We had thus no choice than to look after her flowers... . When we stayed in Murphy's Glen for the night, we realized in the mornign that there is a cache on the way back to the highway. Great! And a nice cache it is, BTW.
We left: Toy Car, Snap Light, TB (spoon)
We took: TB (tiger)
Sorry for the late log of the TB, but we were on our travels back to Europe...

Passing through this way on a lovely sunny Mountains morning. Swapped bugs. Fair amount of muggles activity in the area.
With fireworks to front of us, fire works to the right of us, fireworks to the left of us and meteorites overhead we logged our first cache for 2005. Now it’s off to bed, we had a big day out.
Went for a nice walk from the gate with the GEOKiddies. Found GZ with no problems and snagged the cache quickly.

Congratulations on your 300th find Swampy.
This is a pretty spot and there are still plenty of flowers out.
The cache being on mostly level ground and not on the side of a cliff was a pleasent change.

YES!!!! my 300th cache finally, after three misses I finally got a hit. Left some Aussie sub stickers and a TB took the TB that was there. Awesome views.. I'll be back when there isn't any haze in the air. Had some company, with Squarewheels showing up earlier in the day and staying with me to do this cache.
There would be a lovely view from here on a clear day. sadly this wasn't it. Left Medusa TB and dinosaur. Took puzzle.
As we were heading west this weekend we had to stop and knab this new cache. The Rats had been out here some years ago for a navigational event so we knew exactly where to go.
As we could drive nearly to GZ we stopped and had a picnic on the large rock.
Took some photos of the wildflowers and enjoyed the views. Thanks Swagg for another lovely location.

A nice drive before the heat really started to set in. This area has everything, teselated rocks, ironstone capped pillars and tupperware. Lets not forget the amazing views as well.
A very clear day back down towards Sydney.
Easy find, once we decided to trust/believe the GPSr.
Took a figure 8 and left a whole bunch of stuff as a swap.
Left Swampys Dream to admire the views and continue his journey. Sorry, never got to take him to Sydney to get some pics there.
Once we were done we continued on down to the camping area to check it out.
Thanks Swagg Dudes!
