The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

This is our third visit to try and find this cache. This time we had four people who spent over an hour looking without finding anything encouraging. As has been pointed out before this cache should either be fixed or archived.

Can we get an update on this one please?

02-Apr-11
considering this cache has not been found since 2007 maybe this cache should be archived or at least disables so it can be filtered out when doing a query.

Im going to convert this to a single stage cache. The final location is so nice it is worth keeping but the second stage seems to be a bit tricky. Middle cache is still there, but depending on conditions can be hard to find.

17-Apr-09
Many years ago we collected the co-ords to stage two but it was in the wrong direction. Today was the day to visit stage two.. Nothing found here. I will discuss my conclusions on private email.

21-Sep-08
well we had 2 goes on the weekend but couldn't find the answer to stage 1. please check if this is still here.

22-Mar-08
This started to look bad when the GPS led me into the middle of the street to GZ. Decided to not risk life and limb crawling around on ground and went back to sidewalk, where wife and kids were checking everything for co-ords. Came up empty handed so gave up. Might be back one day to have another go.

Been meaning to do this one for a while, so with the sun shining and the outdoors to be enjoyed, we did it! Didn't even know one of the stages existed, and we have been there many times before! TFTC

Thank you Mr Walker! Without you getting the Phantom to help us we still would have been stuck at the notice board, all other stages are fine, thanks for for making it a good weekend. TNLNSL

Due to the number of times the original clue for this cache has gone missing, and because it is a multi cache which people are reluctant to tackle without some chance of success, I am going to include the info posted on the noticeboard in this cache page.

after many years we finally got to this one,all stages ok, TFTC.

Looks like it is time to renew the cammo on some of these. Some last longer than others, but nearly two years is probably pushing it. The good (and suprising) thing is how effective it is. Very few muggles seem interested in opening up an old grain bag in the middle of some scrub. I can't think why:) Even some cachers can't believe they have found it.

After doing stages 1 and 2 on April 14th 2005 finally got back for stage 3!
Spotted the signature white bag and pulled on it to get the cache (as one does) and ended up with a handful of bag. I think these bags are rather biodegradable!
I then found that the cache had a guardian (pic). Surprised
Took opener, left barnacle and seal (the closest things to the theme that I had with me).
Great spot, though the view was a bit spoiled by the grey cloud from the fire in Hincks. (pic)
Thanks Mr Walker.

Couldn't found WP1 but will come back if I still in Adelaide. Thank you Mr Walker for organise the cache and hunt.

I too was with Richary last year when found cache was the other way. But on our way out this time we found it. what a great place, we are definately coming back to camp here next time.
Took coasters and left 3 toys
Thanks Mr Walker

Despite having found the first part last Easter and realising it went the wrong direction, it still took a few minutes to relocate it. Then went for a drive the next morning and quickly found container 2 I took some matches Twisted and left a smelly belly moose.

Back home to drop off a couple of tired kids then down to the final location where it was quickly found. Took some aerogard and left a wavy decoration thing - closest I had to the theme.

The local kids who came out with us know you through school as does their mother who I think works there part time Wink Cheers.

Have been geocaching in the district for most of the day and ran out of time to see this one through. Found the first clue, very clever. Look forward to the rest of the search when next I am on the West Coast. Gil H.

13-Jun-05
I would say the best cache we have done on the Eyre Peninsular. Enjoyed every stage of it.
Location 1 is clever, laoction 2 an interesting area and final location very scenic as well as being a quality cache.
Happy to report that all stages are in good condition.
Took a squid jag & reel from final cache. Left a set of fish erasers and a palm tree bottle opener. What more could you want than a palm tree to sit under and an opener for your beer while fishing?
Thanks Mr. Walker for a great cache. I'm just sorry I couldn't find the start for on the wallaby#2!

Clue had been removed by council in last couple of days. They seem to do this every few months. Is now replaced in a slightly smaller format.

16-May-05
Stumped me, but didn't have any cache notes with, so thought it might be virtual. Will have to try again next time I'm there.

17-Apr-05
Finally got around to finishing this one .
An easy stroll through the scrub soon had me wishing for some insect repellant;-). Found the cache and signed the log as quickly as i could.

Thanks for another interesting multi Mr Walker.

Stage 1 – what a great hiding spot!
Stage 2 – enjoyed the scenery while waiting for bird-watching muggles to leave. Found cache after a short search.
Took nothing, left squid, signed log.
Stage 3 – in the wrong direction for us today.
Thanks Mr Walker.

Found the first clue but it was the wrong way us. Excellent idea.

25-Mar-05
Found the co-ordinates at the first point, 'Phil Lately" TB came with us, whilst heading north.

21-Mar-05
We have found the first clue for this cache..Easy to notice. We will look for the cache later.

Found parts 1 & 2 but ran short of time to look for final cache due to other commitments . Oh well there's always next time.

06-Mar-05
Tried to take 'Phil Lately' here but renovations in front of the post office prevented us to help him and hindered our hunt.

26-Jan-05
First clue/coordinates now restored and ready for customers.

19-Jan-05
The first coords for this cache have been removed, and due to destruction of our house in the bushfires, I have not had time to replace them. If I cannot do so in the next few days, I will temporarily disable the site

30-Dec-04
Thanks for the tip on visibility, Jim and Chris. I will go and check it out today 31/12/04 and see if it can be hidden or needs moving. The cache hunters are out in force at the moment.

30-Dec-04
What a great cache. It took me a while to find the first co-ord, the second cache was where I thought it may be placed, but well hidden. The third is a little visble now with the dead tree broken down alongside it and possibly needs to be moved a little to hide it a bit more. Traded the pottery vase for a stapler in cache 2 and traded Phantom comics in cache 3. This was the last of our nine caches hunted for the day. Thanks to Mr Walker for his great caches.
Jim, Chris and Gerard.

Not Found by Team GeoCoopers.
Had a look yesterday afternoon for point #1, only to have two oldies who haven't seen each other in 50 years to stop and catch up right at GZ. Tried again early this morning before heading back to Adelaide but still no luck.
Will leave it on the "to do" list next time I'm around this way.

04-Dec-04
We found them all!
Anele and I decided today would be a good day for a drive so we packed the car in search of the 2nd cache in the series. I had never been down these roads before and only glancing at the map (typical male) saw me head down a dead end road. Oops!
But soon we were in the general area of the 2nd cache. Took a little searching and warding off of a protective sleepy lizard to find the container. Very interesting hiding place indeed! I wonder where it leads? I must do some more investigating! We took the pencil eraser and left a spent soda syphon gas bottle (found near "The Old School Yard")
Anyway, after decyphering the co-ordinates in the back of the log book, we started heading south. After cross referencing the co-ordinates on my handy 1:50000 map, we knew which way to go. The 3rd and final cache was found after a short walk along the beach. The flies drove me crazy even though I "borrowed" some AeroGuard! We left a small Whale Tail bracelet ornament and took the lip chap-stick.
Well done Mr.Walker, you made the afternoon quite enjoyable!
Regards,
Michael and Anele.

I found it! Well the first part of the cache anyway.
Work took me to Tumby Bay today so I packed my trusty Garmin GPS and went looking. Didn't take me too long to work out where to find the next set of co-ordinates. I'm glad they weren't in foot high graffiti letters on the footpath!
Oh well, the next leg was in the opposite direction of home so I'll have to wait for another day to continue the hunt!
