We came across this old virtual as we like doing them as they give us a better understanding of the area as opposed to a mint tin. Interesting history and features nearby. TFTC
3rd cache of the day and a good excuse to stop for little break. Pictures on their way to you soon. Thanks
As folks are not doing the right thing and I am really no longer interested in keeping tabs on all this, this one is going bye bye.
If you look on google maps you can see some fire works at the cache location

Found towards the end of a long day's caching with Mister_Clyde and Bottsbunch. The boys from the bush enjoyed the relaxation that this location offered. An easier find than the Aushiker offering we got in the hills yesterday, but it's the variety of caches around that makes it all such fun. Thanks Aushiker
Done in conjunction with a couple of comrades (Tango and Botts) from Albany.
Almost felt like we were going to work for the day.
Thanks to Aushiker for this one.

Great virtual Aushiker, thanks for bringing us here. Keep meaning to visit for the evening entertainment. Maybe this summer...
Wow the old uni i used to work at sure has grown, it amazing to see in the middle of all this high tech infrastructure such a classic structure. Fantastic Cache enjoyed the history and the wander around. Thanks Aushiker.
An interesting location to look around and to collect the necessary data required to post a find for this cache. Thanks Aushiker
Found it! Of course, as I'm passing this spot every day due to my 'profession'.
Thanks for the hunt!

Very warm on the day of our visit, lake looked very inviting and grounds provided some cool shady relief. I only live a short distance from here but have never bothered to go and have a look around so thanks Aushiker for showing us this one. Being a virtual cache we left nothing but we certainly take something away.
Thanks again AWESOME

Thanks to Aushiker for the interesting cache and approval to log. We gathered all the info a couple of weeks ago but kept answering the wrong question! (Our GZ put us at a different, but very credible, 'object'.) Eventually all became clear.
Nice quiet day for this one. Ducked in on a Saturday. Pond was an eerie green though! one question had us stumped and walking all over the place..... until we looked at it slightly differently. You could say you "didn't" have to be there to get it!!!
Good work Aushiker, carry on!

Tackled this one during a weekend, not many muggles around. Great place for a pleasant stroll around the lake. Thanks for taking me here Aushiker, I wouldn’t have come here or seen this piece of history if it wasn’t for the cache.
I felt a little out of place among all the fresh young faces, but nobody seemed to take any notice of me and it was a quick solution to the questions.

Been at this location for a couple of weeks now, and took a while to solve as I was not looking properly - probably because of the construction work and fencing in the area. An intersting area, be sure to take a walk near the er, ducks that are on the water, they make some interesting sounds!

Finally able to log this find after some confusion and a modicum of misunderstanding Thanks to Aushiker for his patience and creative talents and a very special thanks to AusTrackers for being such good friends (as in "phone a...")
Lovely area and great for a relaxing stroll - particularly on a weekend! Thanks for the interesting hunt!
Thanks for taking me to this spot. I never would have gone there without a cache. Really quite a nice spot with a bit of a lesson too

A great spot that we would not have visited if not for geocaching. We had an enjoyable walk through the grounds around 7:30pm, but were soon thinking "where did Andrew hide this cache?" then discovered it was a virtual when we looked up the cache notes on the PDA. There were plenty of muggles sitting around enjoying wine & cheese on the grass, so we just had to be bold and take photos of the objects needed for the questions. They must have thought we were strange! With the answers in hand, we emailed Aushiker, and it seems we were successful as we soon got the OK to log it! Thanks for the hunt Aushiker.
Got the OK from Aushiker to log this cache, interestng mix of history and the modern, Thanks for the cache.
Very prompt response from Aushiker, thank you - also for a very interesting wander around somewhere I would otherwise never have gone. Things certainly have changed since 'my day'!
Nineteenth of 22 finds on my first afternoon/evening of my Perth business trip. I visited this one at 2155. It was strange looking for the appropriate information at that time of night--more of a challenge. Also, I was expecting to be challenged any minute by a security guard, but I didn't see any. I gathered the required information, but it took me a while to get the answers for question two: I found the park to the park to the south of GZ. Anyhow, I sent my answers off to be confirmed, but I haven't received a reply yet. Thanks to Aushiker for the cache.
Got our answers confirmed by Aushiker. We enjoyed this virtual cache as it was an opportunity for some of the other ColonelMustard team to see where "the student" goes weekly. TFTH
Visited here while in Perth for Christmas but have only (for some reason) forgotten to send the e-mail until today. Thank you Andrew for your prompt reply.
An interesting location that we would not have called into except for the Cache.

I visited this spot which I never been there. I think this place was so beautiful and peaceful. Thanks for virtual cache.
What a lovely place and yes perfectly preserved. So she really did live there...... the one line poems had us going as well a bit, pretty surreal. My daughters kept asking if the people at the table were uni students as if they were strange entities from outer space or a zoo or something. Had to tell they were much like us and hopefully they (the daughters) would end up one of them in time..... Thanks for the quick e-mail reply to ours with answers. Means we can log it today...... I'm only going to post one of the photos. The other is the answer for one of the questions!
I visited this spot on a beautiful day for caching - warm though overcast and not much in the way of rain. I didn't expect this to be where it was, and felt just a little out of place being there with all the young people about, though I was in a like place only a few years ago. Answers emailed to Andrew and a reply recieved. Thanks Andrew for the opportunity to refresh some WA history that I had forgotten.
Found it... we have successfully answered the questions and have 'virtually' been there. Thanks for taking us to a great location for an excellent cache. 15:00.
Mad106, Westy Clan, Elmofreak, Cache Rangers, Deanings and Varuna's logs have been verified.
Found this with ElmoFreak when I was still a muggle and have recently created my own username.
Verification has been received from Aushiker before logged this. Thanks for enjoyable walking around and little historical education. We have never been there b4. Thanks for the virtual cache, Aushiker.
Sunday morning, not many people around. Strolled around the area, found the answers, learned some history, nice place. Thanks Aushiker
Sent my answers off for verification. I also have a picture of myself in front of an object that may give some of the game away:P So i won't post it:D
Found with Donna on our mini 'treasure hunt' in the area.
Thanks for the cache This place has improved a fair bit since i last saw it:D

Thank god for geocaching - how else would we find what is right under our noses. This was a lovely cache - thank you.
After getting the verificaton fromAushiker we can now say we found this cache, It certainly is a very nice spot, strange how you never seem to see many students around the campus. Thanks for bringing us to a spot we would have never known was there

What an enjoyable virtual and a change from the scrub bashing! I forgot my digital camera lead so am unable to download into the laptop and will upload my gps pic on my return home.
We got the first question wrong and the rest right, Aushiker graciously let us log the find anyway...My Dad is now definitely hooked!

Were the only people wandering the area today. Was a beautiful spot and we enjoyed the hunt for answers. It was a pleasant break in a busy day.
Thanks
Thanks
We got this one the second time (first time we didn't find the info because of the missing sign). Nice place-althought there weren't any kangaroos this time- we nearly ran over a rabbit! I freaked Scott out when I yelped 'Don't hit him!!' He had no idea what he was about to hit- and stopped the car just short of squashing it, and it ran off into the bush. We had a little wander around, it was lovely and peaceful (it was about 11:40pmish) and all we could hear was the froggies in the water Lovely. Thanks Aushiker!

It is back up and running. As the previous information sign had been removed, I have changed questions one and two. Hope you enjoy the area.
Almost ran into Auzhiker on the way to work. From the back knew it had to be a Geocacher, who else would be slinking around in the bush. Had a quick chat about this one and decided to attack it fron a different angle. Had the answers to 3 questions just needed the last. Solution J S Battye library. Dont try this at home it took 2 hours of looking through microfilm records, and then I wasnt sure. The postal records dont match the families account.
In the end a great hunt, and a good bit of aussie history.
Oh and I wont tell what Aushiker has in store next.

As three teams have now had problems with the first two questions suggesting the interpretative sign has been taken down for some reason. I will be at ground zero on Friday so will check things out. Hopefully it will all be restored by then.
...this was another "lunch-break" cache. The area is very nice and worth a visit. There is probably much more to discover, but I had to go back....maybe next time...
I live in this area, but haven't visited this place before. A very scenic and tranquil spot for a few mintues rest. Found the clues to the questions without any problems, then sat down and took a load off my feet for awhile.
We have travelled 15,000 km to Australia to visit Scytale ( our son Matt) for Christmas, and we saw this new cache appear yesterday. As we were over round Joondalup this evening we went to see if we could bag the cache. We found all the clues with Scytale and Aushiker has confirmed the correctness of our answers , so we have a joint FTF with Scytale
On looking at our photos we think they would be too much of a spoiler to post here, and you wouldn't want spoilers in the log would you It would spoil your fun finding it for yourself

Joint FTF with zensunni. I had a pretty good idea what we were looking for based on the location and the questions being asked. When we got to the location I was thinking of all the questions were answered
