This was to be our last cache for the day but arrived at GZ and could not seem to find anything. There was a nice round hole about a foot behind one of the trees that has obvioulsy has something artifical in it and reading some of the previous logs I have a sneaking suspicion this one is gone. Might be worth a quick check.
Lovely spot though. Young kid fishing nearby looked like he was having fun! Could be worse things to be doing.

Up the creek is no more!
Due to the inability of some people to read (or simply use their brain), it was constantly left in an obvious state so that eventual muggling was inevitable.
It wont be back.

Found at 1125. Enjoyed the walk to GZ, and once there, the cache was easily spotted, as others have said, the cache sticks out quite prominently. I tried to seat it better in it's hide but it will need to be redone. The log book was a little damp, but it was still able to be signed.
A nice area and walking track.
Thanks.
A nice area and walking track.
Thanks.
This is a good style of hide but has been completely removed and reinserted as it was protruding quite a bit and dead obvious. The container takes quite some time to get into as the items that the tool is needed for are damaged, full of dirt and hard to remove. Maybe specifying what tool is needed will stop it being pulled out by unprepared cachers.
Lucky it was about 1am and I had time to perform the task.
All in all a nice place

Log book was moist but still signable, just.
Needs attention. Camouflaged as best I could but will go missing if spotted by muggles. To good a location to lose.

Enjoyed this tucked away location. Found cache easily but it was full of water - possibly after the recent rains. Dried it out as best I could. Rubber ring missing to seal the container. T TB LN
A nice spot on the home from Minnamurra rainforest with Usat31. Liked the container!

Travelling with The Hancock today for a visit to Minnimurra Rainforest, we diverted here for a qhuick cache. Mr H made the find straight away & he had the right tool to get to the goodies.
A great little walk & some really nice views.
No swaps, but a couple of coins swapped here.
TFTC - we really enjoyed this one.
Cheers.

Had some muggles about with this one. After we where clear I did some searching, but it was my geowife who had the find. After signing the log, I put in 2 of the geocoins I had been carring for a while. Lucky I was carying the faithful tool needed to get in.
Not the first visit here!
This time a still had to surch for a while, what a sneaky hide!!
Although I have seen this kind of containers before it didn't come to my mind until I almost stumbled on it.

This was a tricky well hidden cache that took some finding.
An excelent location it was like stepping back in time a mobof kids rode by as carefree as the wind and went down for a swim in the creek, they even had a rope swing from a tree, ahh memories of youth. The creek looks a great place to wet a line the fish were constantly jumping out of the water, we believe they were muggle fish watching us.
Took Smeagols Zeckencoin, left yabbie, as protection from the muggle fish.

Intresting hide, almost on the spot. Should be muggle proof. No dign of the TB. Left a geocoin EU Geocoin #3 and took something .. don't remember what.
Very sneaky hide I guess it helps since I'm in the trade. Unfortunately I hadn't read the logs prior to finding the cache though so had to go back to the car for my multi tool. No swaps thanks for the cache
12:00 pm - Unfortunately we couldn't find this one. It said it was hard to find. We'll be back to have another go.
Woo Hoo. Finally after a fat hint from the owner a few months ago. The Gizmo had me about 10m away. Simple when you really look. TNLNSL Thanks
Wollongong invasion trip by the Canberra based McWiBiTe team.
McPhan, Winglen, BigOn, Tealby
Straight forward access to the area and then the search that had us scratching our heads while trying not to look too sus. McPhan managed to search at the right location and level, I played toolman and retrieved the well constructed container without disturbing the rest, the screws look like they have seen a hard time by the way. No 2 Phillips with a decent handle looks about right. Cleaned the crud from the seal and returned all bits as found.

Found it with the McWiBiTe team. This had us really going as it was very well covered with cammo, all the while we looked fixatedly into the creek when the many muggles went by taking the dog for a Sunday afternoon walk. After finding, a couple of us went on sentry duty in either direction whilst Tim the Toolman (BigON) did his handyman thing.
Nice construction. Thanks Fleacircus.

Very sneaky. This one had us going for ages. I reckon the muggle factor could make this very tricky at times - at least we had lots of eyes to keep a watch out once we had finally spotted the cache.

1307. Well that took ages. we were looking everywhere but nowhere seemed to fit needing a tool to retrieve the cache. We wandered far and wide up and down and frequently acting nonchalant as muggles passed. Then luckily I stumbled upon something that could be it - it was thankfully. A pat on the back for an evil hide, loved it.

Found on our trip around the southern side of town. Had to go back to the car to find a device to open it. There were an amazing number of fish swimming up the creek.

It should be back online for the weekend.

we were here today with a mighty full creek. It might be worth a look because the grass is soggy and we couldn't find it. I hope for you that it is still there. Nice Spot though
Came with Woodyson & Dogboy. No luck today. We thought it may have been washed away but reading the notes it doesn't sound like it could be easily. Will try again another day. Thanks anyway.

Found at 1540. Nice walk along the cycle way. GPS took us straight to GZ and we had the right apparatus for extraction in our box of tricks.

Well hidden, had us wondering for a few minutes. Securing devices may need replacing soon as they are becoming "chewed" and not easy to open.

GPS took me to a large open grassy area - I searched the perimeter, but couldn't find anything that vaguely matched the clue or other's log entries. I'll be back.
great cache my very first find yes and i forget the tool so a long walk back to the car again took key ring left snail

My first find in the Geocache World. The Geokids enjoyed a lovely walk by the rivulet. Stood right beside cache before noticing it. Thanks for the lovely walk. TNLN.
Enjoyed the nice little walk to gz and once there spent several minutes looking and pondering. Suddenly, there it was and fortunately I had anticipated the right tool too. TNLN but appreciated the really good work on this one and the excellent coordinates. Thanks Fleacircus.
Nice little spot with heaps of fish jumping. Didn't take long but could be difficult on a weekend when more people are out,

On our way to the event, doing a couple as we made our final approach to the event area. Easy find on a nice stretch of creek etc. Added bonus, the roulettes passed overhead in formation no more than 200 feet above our heads.

An easy find next to a pleasant creek. We were treated to our own private air show as a Super Constellation and “The Roulettes†did a few circuits.

This was a good little cache. Deciding what to do on the way home remembered had attempted this from the incorrect street before so decided to pop in. Liked the hide and I have now worked out where the missing cycleway link around the lake for me was! TFTC.
Plenty of people out fishing this morning but well away from GZ. This meant we were able to find the cache and still have a good look around. Great hide!
Great hide! We managed to find it quite quickly, but we've done other fleacircus hides, so we were on the right track pretty quickly. Took a couple of cars, left a ball and a lion. TFTC
Pulled a sickie today due to some pesky virus that is making me feel menopausal. After i dropped the apprentice off I thought I'd swing past and grab this cache, walked in from the highway, about 950m and lots of flies for company. Once at GZ it didn't take long to find, the clues certainly came in handy. TNLNSL. Great hide, thoroughly enjoyed it.
No luck at all today with this cache, have encountered fleacircus caches before, and know they are tricky, but they've got me stumped with this one (or its been mnuggled, lioke my other attempts recently!)

Yay! Found it after about 4 visits and glad to do so with a couple of other failures today. Must be not enough practice. Had verified the location on a previous visit but did not have the required equipment. TNLNSL. Thanks
Used to walk the kids here many years ago when the park was only new (lived in Koona St), it's great to come back and see how it all has grown. This is a very clever hide, though found without too much difficulty.
Me and two of the kids were out with Wassa, Gribbly and Gribbly Jnr; this was our last cache for the day. Jono swapped a Cellboost for Nokia for the ball of string, while Jeremy swapped his matchbox car for the red racing car.
Signed log, thanks for an excellent cache!
best wishes,
Wal

Found this one easily - it wasn't 'protruding' but one side was totally visible (was that the intent?). Cleaned out a bit of debris. Left dinosaur, took frog.
Our very first cache thought we should try something close to home, have lived in the area for over 30 years did not know about the park, shows you can sometimes be blind to the beauty around you - cache took a bit of time think we passed it about three times but finally found it. Watching Morticia's face light up was worth the hunt on it's own, this is an activity we will certainaly be persuing
DNF but it is our first day out, will try again. 2yr old was very keen to try "in the creek".Thanks
Failed again today. Am going to need help I think. Its obviously well hidden from the description and logs and I'm assuming that I am not thinking laterally enough.
second time lucky read clues which we failed to do first time

Finally found it as it was very well hidden and left it that way again. Great spot, had another picnic. Lots of muggles again especially fishermen. Took the laughing key ring left Castrol keyring.
lovely local area that we have never been to before...a few muggles around...difficult to look as good as we are going to have to...will have to go back another day
Decided on the way home to try this one but only had the coords. Then I accidently dragged the WP off position so I think we were not quite in the right place. Will add to the list to be sought when passing next.
Another lunch time find. what a great container.and well placed. im learning fast just how open minded you have to be to play this game.sighned the log left the contents and added a laughing key ring.put it back the way i found it.looking forward to finding more of yours Fleacircus.will find a few more and put my brain to work for some of my own thank you.
What a fantastic container! Seen plenty of fish jumping out of the water while we there. Some were quite large. Plenty of muggles fishermen hanging around so we hung around till they left and the mosquitos showed up.

Hm, could not find this one. Beautiful place, though. After looking for something like 20 minutes, watching a black cuckatoo, being halfway eaten up by mosquitoes, we called it a day. The area looked like having been freshly re-worked by the gardening crew, so we were unsure whether the cache was still there. Either way, no cigar for us.

Found this well thought out cache on the second attempt, the first time I didn't see it. Took cow, left frog & 2 golf balls. Thanks Fleacircus for this clever cache. Regards Philma & Geo-Cheese & Kisses.
Looked and looked but no luck. Checked GPS looked some more but still no luck. I'll have to come back again with a few smarter cachers.
Had no luck with this one! Maybe I forgot the tool, but what type of tool? maybe next time. Regards Philma.
A nice day out, introducing my mum and my friend Nik to the wonders of geocaching.
A nice little spot, and the cache was VERY sneaky ... it totally fooled us! We must have walked over and past it many a time.
But eventually we prevailed, hoorah!
Nice one, FleaCircus.

ARRGGG!!!! For a while there this looked like it would become one of my nemises caches. 1st, it was one of 5 DNF's on my infamous 1 from 6 day a few months back. This morning I returned with YoungGregB feeling much more confident... Until we found a fisherman camped out right where we wanted to be. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Why does the Skygod mock me so?!?!?!
We returned again thisafternoon to find GZ blissfuly muggle free, and the cache was soon in our hands. That's one smart container there! I like it. Should last much longer than the original. I took the helmet and worm TB's. Thanks for the work Fleacircus! Great stuff, eventually!

Sneakier than last time but still fairly simple.
We have released our second Travelbug and the first of the travelling clowns in the revised Up The Creek - Take him far and wide.

Nup. No joy here - Nuthin! Scoured the area, used the phone a friend option, and still got nothing. This cache hasn't been looked at for quite some time. Perhaps a cache check could be in order? I suspect it may be gone. Thanks anyway, Fleacircus.
This one was a hit with the youngest Dingbat. We're down here today looking at pools would you believe!
I ride past the cache occassionally when I do the lake circuit. It's quite the monster ride from my place so I don't do it often.
Thanks for the nice easy and pleasant cache.

After a short easy walk myself and Cassie the wonder dog found the cache. Nice spot for a picnic or even a spot of fishing. Had no idea this place existed but will be back some day with my fishing gear.
After doing all the caching stuff and walking back to the car we came across a poor helpless Blue Tongue being harassed by some ravens so risking life and limb it was into the fray. Soon the Blue Tongue was happily munching on my finger and after a quick photo shoot we released him in a safer spot.
Nice easy walk to this one. GPS batteries went flat about 200m out, so we improvised with some AAA's and a leaf.
Beautiful spot. Changed a lot since I was a kid. Have to come back and picnic with the kids. Thankx for a lovely walk. TNLN.
Enjoyed doing this Geokid friendly cache, they are not always east to find. A lovely spot, and I liked the hide, made the geokid exert some energy trying to get it. Thank you for an enjoyable cache fleacircus.
