No go ...12 months on....??

Cache was going to be modified to become a puzzle and a multi.

However as this was a bit of an experiment in having a cache in plain view it's time to end it. For those who didn't find it the camo was bark glued (using liquid nails) around a film caninster. The end of the canister had bark on it and it was placed in a bit of a hole in the tree at eye level.

Gone again. That's the 4th time.[8][8][8][8]
Cache will be modified to become a puzzle and a multi.
Plan will be to add further coordinates at the location from the puzzle. (Note that cache was always about 4m away from a perfect position according to puzzle solution)
The final location will be more muggle proof.[^]
(It could be any less!)

02-Apr-06
Solved the puzzle, went to the spot, but no joy. Perhaps gone again?

Looks as though we are destined not to find this cache. After our previous visits, when we now know the cache was missing, we thought we had a good idea where it was supposed to be, so returned this morning with high hopes. Alas we were unable to find the cache yet again. Maybe next time?

17-Nov-05
had to be careful no one spotted me taking it out. Olian

Back again, 4th time lucky. If you don't get this cache soon the 5th will definately be somewhere better. Don't worry about swaps!

27-Oct-05
Ok, that's the 3rd time it's been muggled.
I'll have a think about better camo or a slightly better location.

26-Oct-05
Another early start today saw us back here again at about 0700. Nobody about, so we could look more carefully. Still no joy though - looks like this one will have to wait for our next visit.

25-Oct-05
We'd solved this puzzle before leaving home too and, on arriving at GZ, thought we had a good idea where the cache would be. Unluckily, there were muggles everywhere, and they all seemed to be looking our way. A couple of quick passes failed to identify the cache though. Too well camouflaged for us, so maybe another day. Our thanks anyway to Zytheran.

Tell me! How does a senior male look inconspicuous amongst a group of ankle biters while awaiting that moment to retrieve/replace.
Congratulations on a very well executed puzzle and hide

15-Jul-05
Big Grin a very impressive cache, someone spent some time with this one.
We had to make several visits to wait for the muggles to clear, the last two insisted on getting 'close' right under the cache location [:X] [:X][:X]
In the end we managed to clear the decks, oldest ronny must really give up those beans.

Our 1st logged find. A lot of fun

08-Jul-05
Under cover of darkness I found it but I am sure I looked there the last time I visited.
TNLNSL
Nice little park at 3 in the morning!

03-Jul-05
3rd time lucky.
Back where it was, please ensure the camo is replaced.

19-May-05
The second version of this cache is now missing. This one lasted about 4 months, much better than the first, even though the camo was the same.
It will be replaced.

18-Apr-05
Found at 12:15pm on the way to lunch!!! The puzzle was fun and kept us amused for quite a while!!! Nice camoflage!!!
Thanks, The No It Alls

14-Apr-05
Had to return later in the day as there were a heap of school kids there having a picnic. When we returned nice and quiet and we found no problem. Nice camo. Thanks Z

12-Apr-05
Solved the puzzle and went to GZ. Too many workers around today for me to get close. Understand why it is fruitless though!

27-Mar-05
Found this cache when I was still a member of Beakers Bunch.
Thankyou

An easy cache. Yes... we can report that the cahe is still there and in plain view. This was our first mystery cache and we really enjoyed it.
Thanks.

Team Wibble are starting to suspect that we're cache killers.... caches seem to have a tendency to get muggled right before we try and find them. This was the case with this cache, and was our second cache find of this type today (ie, we look for the cache, can't find it, owner discovers it's been muggled, owner has to replace, we go and find it again).
Maybe we're bad luck...
We were looking in the right place last time, and spotted the new hiding spot quickly. Good camo though. TNLNSL, thanks Zytheran.

26-Jan-05
The experiment continues... The first attempt lasted about 6 weeks in plain sight but pretty obvious. It is now in plain site but from the less travelled direction. Couldn't really check how well the new camo works as it was night when replaced.

24-Jan-05
Looks like it has gone walkabout.Sort of suprised it lasted this long. Back soon.

22-Jan-05
Sorted out the puzzle awhile ago, but didn't get a chance to look until now. Lots of muggles in the area but not too many near GZ which allowed us to have a fairly good look. No luck though. A check with TeamAstro after the fact confirmed we were probably looking in the right place. Hopefully we just didn't look hard enough. Either that or its gone missing.....

12-Jan-05
I did the puzzle before Xmas and came here twice before but there were too many muggles, Stephen walked right upto the cache and found it. My GZ was about 3 metres away, great hiding spot.

Thanks Z

Found at 19:45.
Came here with a few other Geocachers who are members of a 4wd club having a picnic in the park. I'd worked this out on 8/12, but didn't get around to looking for it until now. I'd picked the hiding spot from 50m - love the camo.
Thanks Zytheran.

We were in the same boat as Nibs, did the puzzle ages ago, but due to a large number of muggles wasn't able to get to it. Finally got to it today with only a few council workers around.

03-Jan-05
Completed the puzzle ages ago, but couldn’t get near the final loc, as it always seemed to be inhabited whenever I went there. Was going past early this morning and managed to grab it before the park filled up with Muggles. Loved the camouflaged container Big Grin. TNLNSL. Thanks Z

26-Dec-04
Solved the interesting puzzle with a bit of logic and then managed to avoid the picnickers out in force today. The camo is quite appropriate.
Thanks Z.

22-Dec-04
Solved the puzzle using logic and common sense. For once it seemed to work.

Eventually found the cache using logic and common sense. It pays to trust your instrument and not some deluded irrational idea.

Very neat cache in what is rapidly becoming the Z style. Room only for a small frog.

20-Dec-04
Solved the clues just over a week ago, started trying random but then used some logic and it fell into place. Not that this seems to work for all Zytheran caches [B)]

Was heading up there Monday last week but got a phone call to do something else so today was the first opportunity. Fairly easily found and not many muggles around on a Monday lunchtime. TNLNSL.

Cheers Zytheran

Pointless even stopping at GZ this evening. As I drove past I realised that 3000 persons of christmas cheer were enjoying a carol or two.

15-Dec-04
Found by spotts Big Grin. elegant camouflage, Early morning find 06:30 [|)]. Thanx again. Could easily be barking up the wrong...., well you know the rest Wink

14-Dec-04
Puzzle is a nice touch. Interesting experiment also!
TNLNSL Cheers

Had to drop Jnr ParrotHead over at TTP today to do some xmas shopping so couldnt resist doing the cache. I had already solved the puzzle but the family wanted a crack at it. I havent shown them how I arrived at result so they will still have a go.
Located after a quick search and entry made.

08-Dec-04

Had worked out the puzzle at lunch time so on the way to Christmas in the Caribbean Dinner stopped to find.
Very cleverly done.

Thanks Z

What great cammo! It took literally 30 seconds to find this cache in a pretty part of the park. Thanks Zytheran!

Spent considerable time on the computer today trying to work out a mathematical way of solving the problem Sad .. gave up and resorted good old grey matter ... had it solved in a couple minutes Red Face
Stopped in on way to the Christmas in the Caribbean Dinner. Cache found by MintSlice. Nice camo Cool. Thanks again zytheran.

Clear skies, TeamAstro.

I only got my GPS today. Went out to a couple caches this afternoon but didn't have any success. Came home and noticed this new one with no finds and close to where I live! So I knuckled down and solved the puzzle. I decided to go looking for it then..

I was off on the wrong tangent for ages looking where I shouldn't have. Then just as I was about to give up, one last look and I found it! woo!.

I really should've trusted my GPS on this one, it was spot on.

Was fun, thanks alot! And nice camo job!

While I was searching for it, I came across a huge yabbi looking up at me. I think the torch annoyed it as it had its claw over its eyes Smile
