Twenty-fifth of twenty-six caches on my first day in Davis. This is another instance of starting a cache earlier in the day, but not being able to log it until later. I did the groundwork before lunch, but there were muggles hanging around at GZ, and this restricted my capacity to search. I did manage to have a shoofty at where my GPSr was pointing, but I couldn't find the cache there. I rang Yamar to confirm that I was looking in the correct spot, and his answer seemed to confirm that I was looking at the right spot, but the cache was missing. There was another similar spot nearby, but I didn't want to search any further, because of the muggles.
I returned after dark, and there were no muggles about now. I searched the other GZ, and found the cache at 2050. It's only a micro, so I made no exchange. My thanks to Yamar for the cache.

Out caching in the [red]Republic of Davis[/red] with fellow [8] “[B]OCG[/B]†[8] member “[blue]Scott&Shelly[/blue]â€. Along our way to a few other caches we stopped and picked up the various clues to this very fun and interesting cache. In fact, at one of the stages the light show was quite incredible. [^] Ahhh the joys of the [green]Holiday[/green] [red]Season.[/red]. Anyway, we finished snatching the bits of information and even did a few caches and then we came to the final stage. It brought us to a very large mailbox… but it was in a residential neighborhood “Shelly†hopped out and checked it out but it just did not feel right so we pulled up and redid our math. No, it was right. Hmmmm [?] Then we thought about our answers. “Shelly†was not sure about our counting on one of the mailboxes so we added the additional number and took a shot. This time it brought us to a spot that looked promising… BINGO! We signed the log and headed off. Thanks for another fun adventure. [green]Cheers[/green]

SnoWake and I came by to do this cache on our way home from Made in the Shade. Had no trouble finding the boxes and gathering information - well, mostly SnoWake gathered information while I sat in the car and took notes. At the final, SnoWake had it in hand practically before I'd even unbuckled my seatbelt. Thanks for the cache!
