As I was scraping around GZ, a muggles dog came sniffing around, a little close for comfort. ONce the owners caught up, they realised the pooch was sniffing the lonely cahcer in the trees....
I suggested that the dog could smell the lizard that I was trying to identify and they were more than happy with that offering... Phew...
Once clear, the cache was successfully located and on the negative, Silver SOvereign and I were successfully located by the local mosquito tribe (or whatever the term is for a flock of damn mozzies...).
Business conducted in double time, we high tailed it out of there and retreated to the protection of the nearby Gunniemobile. Only to find that I had dropped my Sunnies at GZ.... Noooooooooo!!!
Thanks for the hide....

Nice stroll around the complex today to and from the cache. I probably could have parked a bit closer but I enjoyed the walk. Good find after a short search. SL. No swaps. Thanks.
A quick stop, while killing time to give someone a lift.
Turned on the GPS and sniffed out the nearest....
Grabbed a couple of T.B.s
Cache was nice & dry!

Found after the great Roar win over Canberra 2-0.
It is a good football ground even if it was designed for Rugby Union.
Dropped off a few TBs to further their journey.

Lots of spider webs seen and narrowly avoided in doing this one, I don't like the look of some of the webmasters!

Found it!
Good spot!
I just started Geocaching and have been having a lot of trouble with other cache's, the storm may have to do something with it.
However this cache was well secured thanks to the previous geocachers.

Easily found on this rainy day. Sorry, no footy stories - our daughter is the sports enthusiast of this family. We enjoyed the walk across the bridge and spent time watching the creek. TFTC
Quick and easy find on an overcast, slightly rainy day. Still a few muggles going by, but that's not a big drama when there's two of you. No geocoin in residence, but the last finder hasn't logged in yet, so I guess they have it. TN/LN/SL and replaced this cache that's been around for quite a while. I don't have any rugby stories ... that's the one with the pointy ball, isn't it? Sorry, my passion is baseball, so I hope that will encourage you to forgive me.
Still working on logging a oile of caches! Found this one easily enough but as to rugby knowledge, I'm not much of a fan of footy of any kind really although I can watch and enjoy a match at times.
Thanks indeed

Thirty sixth for the day and cache one hundred and thirty-eight on day five of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 1825 in the company of chewinprickles and robmc. This seemed like a nice park, this one took us some time to find as the gps had us this way and then that way. Thanks The Garner Family for the cache.
It was an easy find.
Rugby story? Is that why there is only two goal posts not fixed in the ground enough that they have to put a cross bar in to hold them up, and no behind posts? I did wonder.
Thanks, Robmc.

Stopped by to drop off a travel-bug I picked up in Barossa Valley. Nice little park.
Took nothing, left Snowman Travel-Bug.

My favourite rugby moment ? Easy! Rob Andrews' last minute drop-goal against Australia in the 1995 World Cup. Especially as Michael Lynagh fluffed his own attempt moments earlier. Don't worry my antipodean friends, England were convincingly bounced out of the finals in the next round by the All Blacks.

Find #13 on a family day of geocaching. Found at 9.50am by mastamak. Didn't think this would have survived the rain but is all safe and sound.
Was almost expecting this one to be washed away with all of the rain recently. But the container was still in good condition and dry.
Thank you, I needed a straight forward find after a couple of struggles nearby. Industrial quality spider webs guard this one!

This one took a little longer than it should have but the co-ordinates were spot on in the end. Bloody spiders!!! Loved the size of the nearby turkey's nest who has scraped the ground clean all around. TFTC TNLN
Thought we would grab this one while we where down in brisbane. Nice park we always wondered where balymore was.

Decided to grab a quick find on the way home from work. Haven't had too many opportunities to get out of late, but should be picking up shortly - this is just one more closer to that elusive first 100!! 2 to go ... TFTC.
A few muggles around this morning, including the exercise brigade and students. A nice spot early in the day tho. TFTC
Rumo was on a conference in Brisbane for three days. So time for getting an impression of Aussie geocaches.
While he was searching, finding and retrieving this cache, Rumo was not unobserved. The little barking burglar alarm of the house nearby did its best to draw attention, but gladly this seems to happen too often - so nobody turned up. Phew.

Sorry, no rugby stories. We can tell The Marble where the bridge goes though, as we followed it over to Breakfast with Ruby and then Up and Down (big mistake!)
Beat the geokids to find this cache (a rare event) then contemplated an impromptu game of rugby in the park, but thought better of it, and continued caching instead.

This one has me wanting to go to a match! My fave rugby memory is when I went to see the Wallabies play in Paris. The looks on the locals' faces when hundreds of unfashionably yellow clad Aussies boarded their trains was to be treasured...
I wanted to follow the path across the bridge to see where it went but it was getting dark (not to mention cold!) and the family were expecting me home to cook dinner. Found the cache OK. Thanks
Found this one on my 1 day cycle cache tour from Brisbane. Met up with lochb and onward bound again! I’d met them about ½ an hour earlier at ‘the wall’ – which I gave up on! (They informed me that they did find that! – Oh well, will have to try again some time). This one was nice and easy. Nice little spot. TNLN, thanks Citria & Garner Family.
This was quite a walk from my hotel in downtown Brisbane. Almost didn't find it in the dark. Thanks to the neighbors who called me a cab back to the city. And of course, TFTC! Left PTBilly's Alternate Mode of Transportation TB and Took Globetrotter TB.
Logging in a TB that was in the cache but not registered online as being there...
Found after big brissy brekky. Thanks - nice little hide.

The Mads trooped along with everyone else to find this cache. Well the adults trooped the kids zipped along on their scooters. We took a water pistol and left a super ball. Thanks for the interesting walk and the cache.
A very social little cache this was today, greetings of "Fancy meeting you here!" resounding through the air... TFTC! ='.'=

Dropped in today to replace the log book and found the cache within 30cm of where I found it 2 years ago - not bad and I was expecting much worse cache creep than that.
After replacing the log book I also dropped in DL3BZZ's Puzzle Geocoin The Quest.

We went there which was a good thing as we found it quickly.
Recorded our visit and left a couple of pens.
Thanks Citria (if your still watching this)

Found by Sunshine Toledo about 2pm today. Some young lads were playing on a turkey's nest near GZ but left when I walked by. The cache is well hidden although surrounded by grog bottles and paper. I did some cleaning up but plenty more to shift. TNLNSL
Grabbed the bikes to do this one.
A blanket was spread out near GZ
Looks like someone had made this area home for the night
Steered #1 son away from the empty bottles and found the cache reasonably quickly.
Out: Bag full of money
In: Honestly I cant remember- some small toy I guess.

Found the cache at 12.30pm. Great spot and lovely park. No swap. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.

There was a very vocal dog nearby that made the find a little nerve wracking. [:(!] The lights were on at the stadium tonight. That would be some power bill.

Quite a little walk for myself and Tursiae, as we walked rather blindly from the CBD with only a vague idea of where we were going.
Filled up the last of the log-book, sorry. Didn't have anything to replace it with.
