As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

With regret, I am going to archive this cache. The multis dont seem to work as well as I had hoped, and this was a very difficult one. I no longer have easy access to maintain the last stage, although the big cache is still there and accessible from the beach for those with the first stages completed. For now I will disable it because I will place a single cache where the original first stage was. That should provide a logistical challenge by itself.

27-Oct-12
Looked for stage 1 but couldn't find it, there was a very likely looking spot that tied in with the clue but it was empty

17-Jul-12
After finding stage 2 last year, couldn't resist coming back to have a crack at final. Nice walk up the beach, then big disappointment at not finding it. Have to wonder if it is still there after no finds for 3 years - have people been looking and not posting a DNF

26-Jul-11
Found stage 2 ok but ran out of time and had to miss out on the final. We may come back next year.

No luck on finding first cache.

Tried to find second cache by reading logs and a bit of detective work. Still had us a few kilometres away from Cache #2.

Phoned a friend who helped us with the coordinates for #2.

Found OK and then on to #3.

After a short drive along the beach found all intact.

T: Oil Pastels
L: Pack of 4 frisbees

Also dropped a Geocoin

Found this with Wheres Wolly

19-Apr-09
Quick look at the start but I was not really serious as I did not have the time or the equipment for the next stage.

27-Mar-09

07-Sep-08

21-Jan-07
this on still eludes me

05-Jan-07
Sent the teenager to lurk around and find stage 1 (because lurking's what they're good at) where he was sprung by a passing motorist shouting hints
Stage 2 was fun but I probably should have removed the towing mirrors first
Didn't manage to get stage 3 on this trip - flagged for next time - yep, sorry, we'll be back for sure!

26-Nov-06
After the brave collinsmob went back to no. 1 (the high profile spot), we went out to no.2, bit tricky, was sure it had to be in a totally different spot, then on to no.3! Was a lot ot fun, do some more like this....

26-Nov-06
Found the 3rd cache with the help of the Goldrushers as they retrieved the coords. from cache 2. Glad we chose low tide to get to this one! TNLN, signed the log. Thanks Mr Walker.

19-Oct-06
The fact that i could not find the first cache has been bugging me all week. Finally went down 9-15 at night and was quite stoked to find the dratted thing!!

Was hilarious but rather embarrassing, trying to find the "hidden" cache which we think wasn't there at all!!! Some of the party were too scared to be seen in this high profile area! Lots of amused & puzzled muggles!

28-Aug-06
Finally made it to the last leg of this cache hunt. I waited until the tide was low enough for me to drive close to the final lat/long, it's been a while since I have been this far along the beach here.
Found the final cache easily, took nothing and left nothing and wrote in the log book.
While I was in the general area, I have always wanted to visit the "Myalpa Native Well" as marked on the Lincoln 1:25000 map. I wasn't game to drive along the last strech of sand, so a 1km round trip walk was in order. Not much to see, just some obvious man made holes in the ground with no water.
Thanks Mr.Walker!

24-Aug-06
Just checked final cache. Not many logs but cache in good nick.

12-Aug-06
OK, went on another cache hunt this morning and finally got around to visiting leg #2 of this cache.
I went the long way round and visited Wallaby Sam's cave. Very interesting indeed, especially the "chimney". I didn't get too close, I'm always a little wary of limestone overhangs like that.
Boy! It's tracks like this that remind me why I enjoy sand 4WDing much more than limestone tracks!! It sure loosened up my spine!
Anyway, I found the cache without too much bother, plenty of mosquitos too.
A note for following cache hunters, the cache's pen is a no-go, and I didn't have a spare in my ute. So no entry in the log from me.
Michael.

19-May-06

Hooray! We make it. WP 1, 2 and 3. Wow about WP2 gee It was so rough track. Anyway I am glad to have laptop with me so no problem for us to find the spot without delay! Phew!! eh. No swap expects calling card, Sorry I didn't bring my items which I left at in the car. Which we walked the final cache also we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.

14-Apr-06
Visited Waypoint 2 after going to Proper Problem to grab the co-ords to finish it again, but once again didn't get to stage 3, one day I'll finish it

14-Apr-06
Checked this, and container was full of water from recent rains. Note was illegible so replaced in plastic bag. May keep it more watertight. Also drove out to check second stage which was in good order. I had forgotten just how bad that track was.

10-Feb-06
While in town I went around the field of play for GZ1. It was rush hour and I did not have a car so I did not queer things by trying to do a search.

The real fun of the day was the offender who crashed his car into the nearby police station making it very easy for the local law enforcement to make the collar. Since he was bleeding profusely from the accident it was also easy for them to take the bloods for DUI.

09-Jan-06
Checked the first stage of this yesteday right in the middle of rush hour traffic. Container is still in place, and while it would have been too obvious stopping to open it up, the note inside giving coordinates to second stage should still be in good condition. Hopefully, someone will have a go at this soon, especially if they know the first clue is where it should be.

20-Jul-05
Checked on this one today, and while the main cache was O.K. the offset cache was quite damp inside. Have removed gift voucher and travel bug. (Gift voucher had almost expired) Will replace voucher with similar asap. Will put TB Sustainability in new TB hotel coming soon.

14-Jun-05
Not so much a DNF as a did not start on this one. Dispite 3 furtive attempts at locating the yellow container I was unsuccessful. Im sure its probably still there but for me this weekend it was not to be.
Thanks Mr. Walker for all the great caches on the EP though.

18-May-05
Finally found Stage 1! Never know might actually finish it soon!

16-May-05
Dropped off Sustainability travel bug and $20 voucher for Beer's news agency in the offset cache which concludes this multi. I appreciate this has proven a difficult cache, but the rewards are good. Hope this provides an extra incentive for local cachers who may have more time to complete the different legs. Have altered location of final offset cache. New coordinates in log book at penultimate cache.

10-Apr-05
Checked stage 1 cache. Still intact in original position. Partly covered by autumnal leaves at present.

26-Mar-05
We looked hi and low walked around in circle anyway until I got dizzy and still couldn't find it.
We will be back Sad

27-Feb-05
Looked for about 10 minutes today, couldn't find it. Will try again when not so busy. Getting hints from Diesel69.

14-Feb-05
Looks like both the movie passes are gone. I will try to get down to the cache soon and put a couple of other vouchers in the mini/offset container.

13-Feb-05
After a hint from Jim@Chris i managed to find the first one on Tuesday morning (5am) ,had time for the second leg Wednesday arvo and got the last one today. The second and third ones are interesting access wise!
took the stubby holder and movie pass.
left a water pistol and truck.
TFTC Mr Walker
regards Diesel69

06-Feb-05
The 1st cache is still in position. Hint: That it is not in the bushes.
JIM

05-Feb-05
got up early this morning to try & find the first cache on my way to work, (before the muggles got thick) but the only things i found in 25 minutes of searching were prickly plants and rubbish.

given that it is in a council garden area perhaps Mr Walker could check on it condition when he has some time to spare ( after you sort yourself out from the fire).

13-Jan-05
I went out to check the third cache and the fire wiped out the paddock behind it but most of the coastal vegetation is unburnt around the cache.
JIM

02-Jan-05
There was a problem with the coordinates to the third cache, as recorded in the log book at the second cache. This was enough to throw the G.Z. out by close to 50 metres. However, thanks to Jim and Chris, this has now been sorted.I have also contacted those groups which made it to the second cache and given them the correct coords. for the final cache. I am still not sure if this was an error by me in reading or in transcribing one of the coords, but I promise to be more careful in future.

30-Dec-04
Went back to the third cache this morning and took the travel bug and kangaroo and left stubby holder and bunny sponge. Found the well hidden twist after quite a bit of searching and took one item and left the second for the next cacher to find.
A great cache very well done.
Jim, Chris and Gerard

29-Dec-04
Well, after looking for 20 minutes, with four pairs of eyes, and many curious stares from passers by, the first cache still eludes us. I might have to go back during the day when the sun is brighter and see what I can find then.

28-Dec-04
No problems with the first two parts and added a pen to the second cache and took spinner. Got most of the way up the beach and walked last 150m. Zero point came out in the centre of the track along high water mark, and we spent a long time searching the bushes but to no avail. I think the twist is that its not there? or I wrote down the wrong co-ordinates from the second cache?? I will E-mail Mr Walker to confirm if my co-ordinates were correct in case the ones at the second site are incorrect.
Jim and Gerard

28-Dec-04
Found on second attempt with help of some info from Mr Walker as the co-ordinates were not correct and a lot of searching as we were not sure what was wrong or by how far. Just noted find in the book as we had ended up with the car .5km away and it was getting dark by the time we found it.
Jim and Gerard

26-Dec-04
I see some interest in this cache, so will place the T.B. Jeep 4x4 #1102 in it today. It fits this cache which involves some off-roading in the second two stages.

Surprised Waypoint #2 and Mr Brown Snake found by Team GeoCoopers Surprised
Haven't made it to the last and final waypoint yet but got a good photo this morning of why to always be careful whilst out caching [xx(]
